Ephesians 5
1 Therfor be ye foloweris of God, as moost dereworthe sones;
त्यसकारण परमेश्वरका प्रिय छोरा-छोरीहरू झैँ उहाँको अनुकरण गर्ने होओ ।
2 and walke ye in loue, as Crist louyde vs, and yaf hym silf for vs an offryng and a sacrifice to God, in to the odour of swetnesse.
र ख्रीष्टले हामीलाई प्रेम गर्नुभएर आफैँलाई हाम्रो निम्ति दिनुभए झैँ तिमीहरू प्रेममा हिँड । परमेश्वरको निम्ति सुगन्धित सुवास्ना हुनको निम्ति उहाँ एक भेटी र बलिदान हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।
3 And fornycacioun, and al vnclennesse, or aueryce, be not named among you, as it bicometh holi men;
जस्तो विश्वासीहरूका लागि उपयुक्त हुन्छ, तिमीहरूको बिचमा कामुक अनैतिकता वा कुनै अशुद्धता वा कामवासनाको लालसाको बारेमा चर्चा नहोस् ।
4 ethir filthe, or foli speche, or harlatrye, that perteyneth not to profit, but more doyng of thankyngis.
नकि अश्लिलता, मूर्ख बोली वा अपमानजनक ठट्यौलीहरू होस् जुनचाहिँ अनुचित छन् । बरु धन्यवाद दिने काम होस् ।
5 For wite ye this, and vndurstonde, that ech letchour, or vnclene man, or coueytouse, that serueth to mawmetis, hath not eritage in the kingdom of Crist and of God.
तिमीहरूले यो निश्चय गर, कि कुनै कामुक रूपमा अनैतिक, अशुद्ध, वा लालसित व्यक्तिले ख्रीष्ट र परमेश्वरको राज्यमा कुनै उत्तराधिकार पाउँदैन, किनकि त्यो मूर्तिपूजक हो ।
6 No man disseyue you bi veyn wordis; for whi for these thingis the wraththe of God cam on the sones of vnbileue.
तिमीहरूलाई कसैले पनि फोस्रा कुराहरूले धोखा नदिओस् । यी कुराहरूको कारण अनाज्ञाकारिताका पुत्रहरूमा परमेश्वरको क्रोध आउनेछ ।
7 Therfor nyle ye be maad parteneris of hem.
यसैले गर्दा तिनीहरूसँग सहभागी नहोओ ।
8 For ye weren sum tyme derknessis, but now `ye ben liyt in the Lord. Walke ye as the sones of liyt.
किनकि तिमीहरू एकचोटी अन्धकार थियौ, तर अब तिमीहरू परमप्रभुमा ज्योति भएका छौ । यसैले ज्योतिका सन्तान जस्तै गरी हिँड ।
9 For the fruyt of liyt is in al goodnesse, and riytwisnesse, and treuthe.
किनकि ज्योतिको फल सबै भलाइ, धार्मिकता र सत्यतामा हुन्छ ।
10 And preue ye what `thing is wel plesynge to God.
परमप्रभुलाई खुशी तुल्याउने कुराहरू पत्ता लगाऊ ।
11 And nyle ye comyne to vnfruytouse werkis of derknessis; but more repreue ye.
अन्धकारका फलहिन कार्यहरूमा सहभागी नहोओ । बरु, तिनीहरूलाई प्रकट गर ।
12 For what thingis ben don of hem in priuy, it is foule, yhe, to speke.
किनकि तिनीहरूद्वारा गोप्यमा गरिएका कार्यहरू वर्णन गर्न पनि लाजमर्दो छ ।
13 And alle thingis that ben repreuyd of the liyt, ben opynli schewid; for al thing that is schewid, is liyt.
सबै थोक जब ज्योतिमा आउँछन्, तब ती प्रकट हुन्छन्,
14 For which thing he seith, Rise thou that slepist, and rise vp fro deth, and Crist schal liytne thee.
किनकि प्रकट भएका सबै कुरा ज्योतिमा प्रकाशमान हुन्छन् । त्यसकारण यस्तो भनिएको छ कि, “सुताहा हो जाग, र मरेकाहरूबाट उठ, र ख्रीष्ट तिमीमा चम्कनुहुनेछ ।”
15 Therfor, britheren, se ye, hou warli ye schulen go;
त्यसकारण तिमी कसरी हिँड्छौ भन्ने कुरामा होसियार होओ, मूर्ख जस्तो होइन तर बुद्धिमानजस्तो ।
16 not as vnwise men, but as wise men, ayenbiynge tyme, for the daies ben yuele.
समयलाई बचाओ, किनकि दिनहरू खराब छन् ।
17 Therfor nyle ye be maad vnwise, but vndurstondynge which is the wille of God.
मूर्ख नबन । बरु, प्रभुको इच्छा के हो, सो बुझ ।
18 And nyle ye be drunkun of wyn, in which is letcherie, but be ye fillid with the Hooli Goost; and speke ye to you silf in salmes,
र दाखमद्यले नमात्तीओ, किनकि त्यसले विनाशतर्फ डोर्याउँछ । तर त्यसको सट्टामा, पवित्र आत्माले भरिओ ।
19 and ymnes, and spiritual songis, syngynge and seiynge salm in youre hertis to the Lord;
एक-अर्कामा भजनहरूमा र आत्मिक गीतहरूमा बोल । परमप्रभुको निम्ति तिमीहरूका हृदयमा गीतहरू गाउँदै प्रशंसा गर ।
20 euermore doynge thankingis for alle thingis in the name of oure Lord Jhesu Crist to God and to the fadir.
येशू ख्रीष्टको नाउँमा, सधैँ सबै कुराहरूको निम्ति पिता परमेश्वरलाई धन्यवाद चढाओ ।
21 Be ye suget togidere in the drede of Crist.
ख्रीष्टको आदरको लागि एकअर्काको अधिनमा रहो ।
22 Wymmen, be thei suget to her hosebondis,
पत्नीहरू हो, प्रभुको अधीनमा रहे जस्तो आफ्ना पतिहरूको अधीनमा बस ।
23 as to the Lord, for the man is heed of the wymman, as Crist is heed of the chirche; he is sauyour of his bodi.
किनकि पति पत्नीको शिर हो, जसरी ख्रीष्ट पनि मण्डलीको शिर हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँ शरीरको उद्धारकर्ता हुनुहुन्छ ।
24 But as the chirche is suget to Crist, so wymmen to her hosebondis in alle thingis.
तर जसरी मण्डली ख्रीष्टप्रति समर्पित छ, त्यसरी नै पत्नीहरूलेपनि आफ्ना पतिहरूप्रति सबैथोकमा त्यसै गर्नुपर्दछ ।
25 Men, loue ye youre wyues, as Crist louyde the chirche, and yaf hym silf for it, to make it holi;
पतिहरू हो, जसरी ख्रीष्टले मण्डलीलाई प्रेम गर्नुभयो र आफैँलाई तिनको निम्ति समर्पित गर्नुभयो, त्यसरी नै आफ्ना पत्नीहरूलाई प्रेम गर ।
26 and clenside it with the waisching of watir, in the word of lijf,
उहाँले तिनलाई पवित्र गर्न यसो गर्नुभयो । उहाँले तिनलाई वचनमा पानीले धोएर शुद्ध पार्नुभयो ।
27 to yyue the chirche gloriouse to hym silf, that it hadde no wem, ne ryueling, or ony siche thing, but that it be hooli and vndefoulid.
दागरहित वा चाउरी नभएको वा अन्य यस्ता कुनै थोक नभएको, तर पवित्र र दोषरहित, महिमित मण्डली आफ्नै निम्ति प्रस्तुत गर्नको निम्ति उहाँले यस्तो गर्नुभयो ।
28 So and men `schulen loue her wyues, as her owne bodies. He that loueth his wijf, loueth hym silf;
यस्तै प्रकारले पतिहरूले तिनीहरूका आफ्ना पत्नीहरूलाई आफ्ना शरीरलाई जस्तै प्रेम गर्नुपर्छ । आफ्नो पत्नीलाई प्रेम गर्नेले आफैँलाई प्रेम गर्छ ।
29 for no man hatide euere his owne fleisch, but nurischith and fostrith it, as Crist doith the chirche.
कहिल्यै पनि कसैले आफ्नो शरीरलाई घृणा गरेको छैन । बरु, उसले यसलाई पालन-पोषण गरेर प्रेम गर्दछ, जसरी ख्रीष्टले पनि मण्डलीलाई प्रेम गर्नुहुन्छ ।
30 And we ben membris of his bodi, of his fleisch, and of his boonys.
किनकि हामी उहाँका शरीरका सदस्यहरू हौँ ।
31 For this thing a man schal forsake his fadir and modir, and he schal drawe to his wijf; and thei schulen be tweyne in o fleisch.
“यसैकारणले गर्दा एकजना मानिसले उसको बुबा र आमालाई छोड्नेछ र उसको पत्नीसँग मिल्नेछ, र ती दुई एउटै शरीर हुनेछन् ।”
32 This sacrament is greet; yhe, Y seie in Crist, and in the chirche.
यो एउटा महान् गुप्त सत्यता हो, तर मैले ख्रीष्ट र उहाँको मण्डलीको बारेमा बताइरहेको छु ।
33 Netheles ye alle, ech man loue his wijf as hym silf; and the wijf drede hir hosebonde.
तथापि, तिमीहरू प्रत्येकले आफ्ना पत्नीलाई आफूलाई जस्तै प्रेम गर्नुपर्छ, र पत्नीले पतिलाई सम्मान गर्नुपर्छ ।
