Ecclesiastes 5
1 Thou that entrist in to the hous of God, kepe thi foot, and neiye thou for to here; for whi myche betere is obedience than the sacrifices of foolis, that witen not what yuel thei don.
to keep: guard (foot your *Q(K)*) like/as as which to go: went to(wards) house: temple [the] God and to present: come to/for to hear: hear from to give: give [the] fool sacrifice for nothing they to know to/for to make: do bad: evil
2 Speke thou not ony thing folily, nether thin herte be swift to brynge forth a word bifore God; for God is in heuene, and thou art on erthe, therfor thi wordis be fewe.
not to dismay upon lip your and heart your not to hasten to/for to come out: speak word to/for face: before [the] God for [the] God in/on/with heaven and you(m. s.) upon [the] land: country/planet upon so to be word your little
3 Dremes suen many bisynessis, and foli schal be foundun in many wordis.
for to come (in): come [the] dream in/on/with abundance task and voice fool in/on/with abundance word
4 If thou hast avowid ony thing to God, tarie thou not to yelde; for an vnfeithful and fonned biheest displesith hym; but `yelde thou what euer thing thou hast avowid;
like/as as which to vow vow to/for God not to delay to/for to complete him for nothing pleasure in/on/with fool [obj] which to vow to complete
5 and it is myche betere to make not a vowe, than aftir a vowe to yelde not biheestis.

6 Yyue thou not thi mouth, that thou make thi fleisch to do synne; nether seie thou bifor an aungel, No puruyaunce is; lest perauenture the Lord be wrooth on thi wordis, and distruye alle the werkis of thin hondis.
not to give: allow [obj] lip your to/for to sin [obj] flesh your and not to say to/for face: before [the] messenger for unintentionally he/she/it to/for what? be angry [the] God upon voice your and to destroy [obj] deed: work hand your
7 Where ben many dremes, ben ful many vanytees, and wordis with out noumbre; but drede thou God.
for in/on/with abundance dream and vanity and word to multiply for [obj] [the] God to fear: revere
8 If thou seest false chalengis of nedi men, and violent domes, and that riytfulnesse is distried in the prouynce, wondre thou not on this doyng; for another is hiyere than an hiy man, and also othere men ben more hiye aboue these men;
if oppression be poor and robbery justice and righteousness to see: see in/on/with province not to astounded upon [the] pleasure for high from upon high to keep: look at and high upon them
9 and ferthermore the kyng of al erthe comaundith to the seruaunt.
and advantage land: country/planet in/on/with all (he/she/it *Q(K)*) king to/for land: country to serve: labour
10 An auerouse man schal not be fillid of monei; and he that loueth richessis schal not take fruytis of tho; and therfor this is vanyte.
to love: lover silver: money not to satisfy silver: money and who? to love: lover in/on/with crowd not produce also this vanity
11 Where ben many richessis, also many men ben, that eten tho; and what profitith it to the haldere, no but that he seeth richessis with hise iyen?
in/on/with to multiply [the] welfare to multiply to eat her and what? skill to/for master her that if: except if: except (sight *Q(K)*) eye his
12 Slepe is swete to hym that worchith, whether he etith litil ether myche; but the fulnesse of a ryche man suffrith not hym to slepe.
sweet sleep [the] to serve: labour if little and if to multiply to eat and [the] abundance to/for rich nothing he to rest to/for him to/for to sleep
13 Also anothir sijknesse is ful yuel, which Y siy vndur the sunne; richessis ben kept in to the yuel of her lord.
there distress: evil be weak: grieved to see: see underneath: under [the] sun riches to keep: guard to/for master his to/for distress: harm his
14 For thei perischen in the worste turment; he gendride a sone, that schal be in souereyn nedynesse.
and to perish [the] riches [the] he/she/it in/on/with task bad: harmful and to beget son: child and nothing in/on/with hand his anything
15 As he yede nakid out of his modris wombe, so he schal turne ayen; and he schal take awei with hym no thing of his trauel.

16 Outirli it is a wretchid sijknesse; as he cam, so he schal turne ayen. What therfor profitith it to hym, that he trauelide in to the wynde?
and also this distress: evil be weak: grieved all close which/that to come (in): come so to go: went and what? advantage to/for him which/that to toil to/for spirit: breath
17 In alle the daies of his lijf he eet in derknessis, and in many bisinessis, and in nedynesse, and sorewe.
also all day his in/on/with darkness to eat and to provoke to multiply and sickness his and wrath
18 Therfor this semyde good to me, that a man ete, and drynke, and vse gladnesse of his trauel, in which he trauelide vndir the sunne, in the noumbre of daies of his lijf, which God yaf to hym; and this is his part.
behold which to see: see I pleasant which beautiful to/for to eat and to/for to drink and to/for to see: enjoy welfare in/on/with all trouble his which/that to toil underneath: under [the] sun number day (life his *Q(k)*) which to give: give to/for him [the] God for he/she/it portion his
19 And to ech man, to whom God yaf richessis, and catel, and yaf power to hym to ete of tho, and to vse his part, and to be glad of his trauel; this is the yifte of God.
also all [the] man which to give: give to/for him [the] God riches and wealth and to domineer him to/for to eat from him and to/for to lift: bear [obj] portion his and to/for to rejoice in/on/with trouble his this gift God he/she/it
20 For he schal not bithenke miche on the daies of his lijf, for God ocupieth his herte with delicis.
