Deuteronomy 34
1 Therfor Moyses stiede fro the feeldi places of Moab on the hil of Nebo, in to the cop of Fasga, ayens Gerico. And the Lord schewide to hym al the lond of Galaad `til to Dan,
Lalu Musa meninggalkan dataran Moab dan mendaki Gunung Nebo, ke puncak Pisga di sebelah timur Yerikho. Di situ TUHAN menunjukkan kepadanya seluruh negeri itu, yakni: Wilayah Gilead ke utara sejauh kota Dan;
2 and al Neptalym, and the lond of Effraym and of Manasses, and al the lond of Juda, `til to the laste see; and the south part,
seluruh wilayah Naftali; wilayah Efraim dan Manasye, wilayah Yehuda ke barat sejauh Laut Tengah;
3 and the breede of the feeld of Jerico, of the citee of Palmes `til to Segor.
bagian selatan Yehuda dan dataran yang terbentang dari Zoar ke Yerikho, kota yang penuh dengan pohon kurma.
4 And the Lord seide to hym, This is the lond for which Y swoor to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and Y seide, Y schal yyue it to thi seed; thou hast seyn it with thin iyen, and thou schalt not passe `to it.
Lalu TUHAN berkata kepada Musa, "Itulah negeri yang Kujanjikan kepada Abraham, Ishak dan Yakub untuk diserahkan kepada keturunan mereka. Aku memperlihatkannya kepadamu, Musa, tetapi tidak mengizinkan engkau pergi ke sana."
5 And Moyses, the seruaunt of the Lord, was deed there, in the lond of Moab, `for the Lord comaundide.
Lalu meninggallah Musa hamba TUHAN di tanah Moab, seperti dikatakan TUHAN sebelumnya.
6 And the Lord biriede hym in a valey of the lond of Moab, ayens Fegor, and no man knewe his sepulcre `til in to present day.
TUHAN menguburkan dia di sebuah lembah di Moab di seberang kota Bet-Peor, tetapi sampai hari ini tak seorang pun tahu dengan tepat di mana makamnya.
7 Moises was of an hundrid and twenti yeer whanne he diede; his iye dasewide not, nethir hise teeth weren stirid.
Musa meninggal pada usia seratus dua puluh tahun. Kekuatannya tidak berkurang dan penglihatannya masih terang.
8 And the sones of Israel biwepten hym thretti daies in the feeldi places of Moab; and the daies of weilyng of men `bymorenynge Moises weren fillid.
Di dataran Moab bangsa Israel menangisi Musa dan berkabung selama tiga puluh hari.
9 Forsothe Josue, the sone of Nun, was fillid with `the spyrit of wisdom, for Moises settide hise hondis on hym; and the sones of Israel obeieden to Josue, and diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises.
TUHAN melimpahi Yosua anak Nun dengan kebijaksanaan karena ia telah ditunjuk Musa menjadi penggantinya. Bangsa Israel taat kepada Yosua dan menjalankan perintah-perintah yang diberikan TUHAN kepada mereka melalui Musa.
10 And `a profete roos no more in Israel `as Moises, whom the Lord knewe face to face,
Di Israel tak ada lagi nabi seperti Musa yang berbicara berhadapan muka dengan TUHAN.
11 in alle myraclis, and grete wondris, whiche the Lord sente bi hym, that he schulde do in the lond of Egipt to Farao, and alle hise seruauntis, and to al the lond `of hym,
Tak ada yang melakukan mujizat-mujizat dan keajaiban-keajaiban seperti yang dilakukan Musa terhadap negeri Mesir, rajanya dan para pejabatnya sesuai dengan perintah TUHAN.
12 and al strong hond, and the `grete merueylis, whiche Moyses dide bifor al Israel.
Tak ada yang melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan hebat dan dahsyat seperti yang dilakukan Musa di depan seluruh bangsa Israel.
