< Deuteronomy 33 >

1 This is the blessing, bi which Moises, the man of God, blesside the sones of Israel bifor his deeth;

2 and seide, The Lord cam fro Syna, and he roos to us fro Seir; he apperide fro the hil of Pharan, and thousandis of seyntis with hym; a lawe of fier in his riythond.
Pea naʻa ne pehē ʻe ia, naʻe hāʻele mai ʻa Sihova mei Sainai, pea tuʻu hake mei Seia kiate kinautolu; naʻe ulo mai ʻe ia mei he moʻunga ko Palani, pea naʻe hāʻele mai ia mo e ngaahi toko mano ʻoe kau māʻoniʻoni; naʻe ʻalu atu mei hono nima toʻomataʻu ʻae fono fakavela maʻanautolu.
3 He louede puplis; alle seyntis ben in his hond, and thei that neiyen to hise feet schulen take of his doctryn.
‌ʻIo, naʻa ne ʻofa ki he kakai; ko ʻene kakai māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē naʻe ʻi hono nima: pea naʻa nau nofo hifo ki hono vaʻe; ʻe maʻu taki taha kotoa pē ʻa ʻene ngaahi folofola.
4 Moisis comaundide lawe `to vs, eritage of the multitude of Jacob.
Naʻe fekau ʻe ia ʻae fono kiate kitautolu, ʻio ko e tofiʻa ʻoe fakataha ʻo Sēkope.
5 And the king schal be at the moost riytful, whanne princes of the puple schulen be gaderid togidere with the lynagis of Israel.
Pea ko e tuʻi ia ʻi Sesuluni, ʻi he fakataha ʻoe ngaahi ʻeiki ʻoe kakai mo e ngaahi faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsileli.
6 Ruben lyue, and die not, and be he litil in noumbre.
“Tuku ke moʻui ʻa Lupeni, pea ʻoua naʻa mate; pea ʻoua naʻa tokosiʻi hono kau tangata.”
7 This is the blessyng of Juda; Lord, here thou the vois of Juda, and brynge in hym to his puple; hise hondis schulen fiyte for hym, and the helpere of hym schal be ayens hise aduersaries.

9 which Leuy seide to his fadir and to his modir, Y knowe not you, and to hise britheren, Y knowe not hem; and knewen not her sones. These kepten thi speche, and these kepten thi couenaunt; A!
‌ʻAia naʻa ne lea ki heʻene tamai pea ki heʻene faʻē, naʻe ʻikai te u mamata kiate ia; pea naʻe ʻikai te ne tui foki ki hono ngaahi kāinga, pe ʻiloʻi ʻene fānau ʻaʻana: he kuo nau tokanga ki hoʻo folofola, pea tauhi hoʻo fuakava.
10 Jacob, thei kepten thi domes, and `thou, Israel, thei kepten thi lawe; thei schulen putte encense in thi strong veniaunce, and brent sacrifice on thin auter.
Tenau akonakiʻi ʻa Sēkope ʻi hoʻo ngaahi fakamaau, mo ʻIsileli ʻi hoʻo fono: tenau ʻai ʻae meʻa namu kakala ʻi ho ʻao, mo e feilaulau tutu kotoa ki ho feilaulauʻanga.
11 Lord, blesse thou the strengthe of hym, and resseyue thou the werkis of his hondis; smyte thou the backis of hise enemyes, and thei that haten hym, rise not.
‌ʻE Sihova, ke ke tāpuaki ʻene meʻa, mo ke maʻu ʻae ngāue ʻa hono nima: tā ke ʻasi ʻi he fasiʻatuʻa ʻokinautolu ʻoku tuʻu hake kiate ia, pea mo kinautolu ʻoku fehiʻa kiate ia, ke ʻoua naʻa nau toetuʻu hake.”
12 And he seide to Benjamyn, The moost loued of the Lord schal dwelle tristili in hym, `that is, in the Lord; he schal dwelle al day as in a chaumbur, and he schal reste bitwixe the schuldris of hym.
Pea naʻe lea ia kia Penisimani ʻo pehē, “Ko e ʻofeina ʻia SIHOVA, te na nonofo lelei mo ia; pea ʻe maluʻi ia ʻi he ʻaho kotoa, pea ʻe nofo ia ʻi he vahaʻa ʻo hono uma.”
13 Also he seide to Joseph, `His lond is of the Lordis blessyng; of the applis of heuene, and of the dewe, and of watir liggynge bynethe;
Pea naʻe lea ia kia Siosefa, ʻo pehē, “Ke monūʻia ʻia Sihova ʻa hono fonua, ʻi he ngaahi meʻa maʻongoʻonga ʻoe langi, pea ʻi he hahau, pea ʻi he loloto ʻaia ʻoku tokoto ʻi lalo,
14 of the applis of fruytis of the sunne and moone; of the coppe of elde munteyns,
Pea ʻi he ngaahi fua maʻongoʻonga ʻoku langaʻi ʻe he laʻā, pea ʻi he ngaahi meʻa maʻongoʻonga ʻoku fakatupu ʻe he ngaahi māhina,
15 and of the applis of euerlastynge litle hillis;
Pea ʻi he ngaahi meʻa fungani lelei ʻoe ngaahi moʻunga ʻi muʻa ʻi muʻa, pea ʻi he ngaahi meʻa maʻongoʻonga ʻoe ngaahi tafungofunga tolonga maʻu pe,
16 and of the fruytis of the lond, and of the fulnesse therof. The blessyng of hym that apperide in the busch come on the heed of Joseph, and on the cop of Nazarey, `that is, hooli, among hise britheren.

17 As the first gendrid of a bole is the feirnesse of hym; the hornes of an vnicorn ben the hornes of hym; in tho he schal wyndewe folkis, `til to the termes of erthe. These ben the multitudis of Effraym, and these ben the thousyndis of Manasses.

18 And he seide to Zabulon, Zabulon, be thou glad in thi goyng out, and, Ysacar, in thi tabernaclis.
Pea naʻe lea ia kia Sepuloni, “Ke ke fiefia, Sepuloni, ʻi hoʻo ʻalu atu; mo ʻIsaka, ʻi ho ngaahi fale fehikitaki.
19 Thei schulen clepe puplis to the hil, there thei schulen offre sacrifices of riytfulnesse; whiche schulen souke the flowing of the see as mylk, and hid tresours of grauel.
Tenau ui ʻae kakai ki he moʻunga tenau ʻatu ʻi ai ʻae ngaahi feilaulau ʻoe māʻoniʻoni: he tenau mimisiʻi mai ʻae koloa ʻoe tahi, pea mo e ngaahi koloa kuo fufū ʻi he ʻoneʻone.”
20 And he seide to Gad, Gad is blessid in broodnesse; he restide as a lioun, and he took the arm and the nol.
Pea naʻe lea ia kia Kata, “Ke hoko ʻae tāpuaki kiate ia ʻoku ne fakalahi ʻa Kata: ʻoku nofo ia ʻo hangē ha laione, pea ʻoku ne haehae ʻae nima mo e tumuʻaki ʻoe ʻulu.
21 And he siy his prinshed, that `the techere was kept in his part; which Gad was with the princes of the puple, and dide the riytfulnesses of the Lord, and his doom with Israel.
Pea ʻoku ne tauhi ʻae ʻuluaki vahe maʻana, koeʻuhi naʻe tuku ia ʻi ai, ʻi he tufakanga, ʻoe ʻeiki fai fono; pea naʻe haʻu ia mo e ngaahi ʻeiki ʻoe kakai, naʻa ne fai ʻae angatonu ʻa Sihova, mo ʻene ngaahi fakamaau mo ʻIsileli.”
22 Also he seide to Dan, Dan, a whelp of a lioun, schal flowe largeli fro Basan.
Pea naʻe lea ia kia Tani, ʻo pehē, “Ko e ʻuhiki laione ʻa Tani: ʻe hopo ia mei Pesani.”
23 And he seide to Neptalym, Neptalym schal vse abundaunce, and he schal be ful with blessyngis of the Lord; and he schal welde the see and the south.
Pea naʻe lea ia kia Nafitali, ʻo pehē, “ʻE Nafitali, ʻa koe kuo fakafiemālieʻi ʻi he ʻofa, pea fonu ʻi he tāpuaki ʻa Sihova: ke ke maʻu ʻe koe ʻae potu lulunga mo e tonga.”
24 Also he seide to Aser, Aser, be blessid in sones, and plese he hise britheren; dippe he his foot in oile.
Pea naʻe lea ia kia ʻAseli, “Ke tāpuaki ʻaki ʻa ʻAseli ʻae ngaahi fānau, ke lelei ia ki hono ngaahi kāinga, pea ke unu ʻe ia hono vaʻe ʻi he lolo.
25 Yrun and bras the scho of hym; as the dai of thi youthe so and thin eelde.
‌ʻE hoko ho topuvaʻe ko e ʻaione mo e palasa; pea ʻe tatau pe ho mālohi ki ho ngaahi ʻaho.”
26 Noon other god is as the God of the moost riytful, that is, `as the God `of the puple of Israel, gouerned bi moost riytful lawe; the stiere of heuene is thin helpere; cloudis rennen aboute bi the glorie of hym.
ʻOku ʻikai ha tokotaha ʻoku tatau mo e ʻOtua ʻo Sesuluni, ʻaia ʻoku heka ʻo hāʻele ʻi he ngaahi langi ko ho tokoni, pea ʻi hono lelei lahi ʻi he langi.
27 His dwellynge place is aboue, and armes euerlastynge ben bynethe; he schal caste out fro thi face the enemy, and he schal seie, Be thou al to-brokun.
Ko e ʻOtua taʻengata ko ho hūfanga, pea ʻoku ʻi lalo ʻiate koe ʻae nima tolonga taʻengata, pea te ne tekeʻi kituaʻā ʻae fili mei ho ʻao; ʻo ne pehē, Fakaʻauha ʻakinautolu.
28 Israel schal dwelle trustili and aloone; the iye of Jacob in the lond of whete, and of wyn; and heuenes schulen be derk with dew.
‌ʻE toki nofo tokotaha fiemālie ai pe ʻa ʻIsileli: ko e matavai ʻo Sēkope ʻe ʻi he fonua ʻoe uite mo e uaine; pea ʻe tō hifo ʻae hahau ʻo hono langi foki.
29 Blessed art thou, Israel; thou puple that art saued in the Lord, who is lijk thee? The scheld of thin help and the swerd of thi glorie is thi God; thin enemyes schulen denye thee, and thou schalt trede her neckis.
‌ʻOku ke monūʻia koe, ʻE ʻIsileli ko hai ʻoku tatau mo koe, ko e kakai kuo fakamoʻui ʻe Sihova, ko e fakaū ʻo ho tokoni, pea ko e heletā foki ʻo ho mālohi! Pea ʻe ʻilo ʻa ho ngaahi fili ko e kau loi kiate koe; pea te ke malaki ʻa honau ngaahi potu māʻolunga.
