Deuteronomy 32
1 Ye heuenes, here what thingis Y schal speke; the erthe here the wordis of my mouth.
१“हे आकाशा, ऐक मी काय म्हणतो ते.” पृथ्वी ऐक शब्द माझ्या मुखातले.
2 My techyng wexe togidere as reyn; my speche flete out as dew, as lytil reyn on eerbe, and as dropis on gras.
२पर्जन्याप्रमाणे माझ्या बोधाचा वर्षाव माझे भाषण दहीवराप्रमाणे ठिबको. तो बोध असेल जमिनीवरुन खळखळणाऱ्या पाण्यासारखा. हिरवळीवर रिझमझिमणाऱ्या पावसासारखा. झाडाझुडुपांवर पडणाऱ्या पावसाच्या सरीसारखा.
3 For Y schal inwardli clepe the name of the Lord; yyue ye glorie to oure God.
३मी परमेश्वराच्या नावाची घोषणा करीन. तुम्हीही परमेश्वराची महती गा!
4 The werkis of God ben perfit, and alle hise weies ben domes; God is feithful, and without ony wickidnesse; God is iust and riytful.
४तो माझा दुर्ग आहे आणि त्याची कृती परिपूर्ण! कारण तो, त्याचे सर्व मार्ग, उचित आहेत! देवच खरा आणि विश्वासू न्यायी आणि सरळ आहे.
5 Thei synneden ayens hym, and not hise sones in filthis, `that is, of idolatrie; schrewid and waiward generacioun.
५तुम्ही त्याची मुले नाहीत. तुमची पापे त्यास मळीन करतील. तुम्ही लबाड आहात.
6 Whether thou yeldist these thingis to the Lord, thou fonned puple and vnwijs? Whether he is not thi fadir, that weldide thee, and made, `and made thee of nouyt?
६मूर्ख आणि निर्बुद्ध जन हो, परमेश्वराशी असे वागता? तो तर तुमचा पिता, निर्माता कर्ता आणि धर्ता तोच आहे.
7 Haue thou minde of elde daies, thenke thou alle generaciouns; axe thi fadir, and he schal telle to thee, axe thi grettere men, and thei schulen seie to thee.
७आठवण करा पूर्वी काय घडले ते अनेक वर्षा पूर्वी काय काय झाले ते लक्षात आणा; आपल्या बापाला विचारा, तो सांगेल आपल्या वडीलजनांना विचारा, ते सांगतील.
8 Whanne the hiyeste departide folkis, whanne he departide the sones of Adam, he ordeynede the termes of puplis bi the noumbre of the sones of Israel.
८परात्पर देवाने लोकांची विभागणी राष्ट्रा राष्ट्रांमध्ये केली. प्रत्येक राष्ट्राला स्वतंत्र भूभाग दिला. देवाने इस्राएल लोंकाच्या संख्येप्रमाणे राष्ट्राच्या सीमा आखल्या.
9 Forsothe the part of the Lord is his puple; Jacob is the litil part of his eritage.
९परमेश्वराचा वाटा त्याचे लोक होत. याकोब हाच त्याच्या वतनाचा वाटा आहे.
10 The Lord foond hym in a deseert lond, `that is, priued of Goddis religioun, in the place of orrour `ethir hidousnesse, and of wast wildirnesse; the Lord ledde hym aboute, and tauyte hym, and kepte as the apple of his iye.
१०याकोब त्यास तो वाळवंटात भणभणत्या वाऱ्याच्या वैराण प्रदेशात सापडला त्याने त्याच्याजवळ राहून त्याची काळजी घेतली आणि डोळ्यातील बाहूलीप्रमाणे त्यास सांभाळले.
11 As an egle stirynge his briddis to fle, and fleynge on hem, he spredde forth his wyngis, and took hem, and bar in hise schuldris.
११इस्राएलाला परमेश्वर गरुडासारखा आहे. गरुड पक्षीण आपल्या पिलांना उडायला शिकवताना घरट्यातून ढकलते. त्यांच्या संरक्षणार्थ त्यांच्याबरोबर तीही उडते. पिल्ले पडली झडली तर धरता यावे म्हणून पंख पसरते आणि पंखावर बसवून त्यांना सुरक्षित जागी आणते. तसा परमेश्वर इस्राएलाला जपतो.
12 The Lord aloone was his ledere, and noon alien god was with hym.
१२परमेश्वरानेच इस्राएलाला पुढे आणले. दुसरा कोणी देव मदतीला नव्हता.
13 The Lord ordeynede hym on an hiy lond, that he schulde ete the fruytis of feeldis, that he schulde souke hony of a stoon, and oile of the hardeste roche;
१३परमेश्वराच्याच पुढाकाराने त्याने या डोंगराळ प्रदेशाचा ताबा घेतला. मग याकोबाने शेतात भरपूर पीक घेतले. परमेश्वराने त्यास खडकातून मध दिला, त्या कठीण खडकातून त्याच्यासाठी तेलही काढले.
14 botere of the droue, and mylke of scheep, with the fatnesse of lambren and of rammes, of the sones of Basan; and that he schulde ete kydis with the merowe of wheete, and schulde drynke the cleereste blood of grape.
१४गाईम्हशींचे, शेळ्यामेंढ्याचे लोणी आणि दूध, पुष्ट मेंढे व कोकरे, बाशानचे उत्तम प्रतीचे बकरे, उत्कृष्ट गहू हे परमेश्वराने त्यांना दिले. द्राक्षाची लाल मदिराही इस्राएलांनो, तुम्ही प्यालात.
15 The louede puple was `maad fat, and kikide ayen; maad fat withoutforth, maad fat with ynne, and alargid; he forsook God his makere, and yede awei fro `God his helthe.
१५पण यशुरुन पुष्ट होऊन लाथा झाडू लागला. तो धष्टपुष्ट झाला! तो लठ्ठ झाला, तो तुकतुकीत झाला आणि त्याने आपल्या तारणकर्त्या देवाचा त्याग केला! आपले तारण करणारा दुर्गासारखा परमेश्वर तुच्छ मानला.
16 Thei terriden hym to ire in alien goddis, and thei excitiden to wrathfulnesse in abhomynaciouns.
१६त्यांनी अन्य दैवतांची पूजा करायला सुरुवात केली आणि त्याची ईर्ष्या जागवली. मूर्ती त्यास मान्य नाहीत, तरी या लोकांनी मूर्ती केल्या व त्याचा कोप ओढवला.
17 Thei offriden to feendis, and not to God, to goddis whiche thei knewen not, newe goddis, and freische camen, whiche `the fadris of hem worschipiden not.
१७खरे देव नव्हेत अशा भुतांना त्यांनी यज्ञार्पणे केली. अपरिचित दैवतांची पूजा केली. आपल्या पूर्वजांना पूर्वी कधी माहीत नसलेल्या दैवतांची पूजा केली.
18 Thou hast forsake God that gendride thee, and thou hast foryete `thi Lord creatour.
१८आपल्या निर्माणकर्त्याच्या दुर्गाचा त्यांनी त्याग केला. जीवनदायी देवाला ते विसरले.
19 The Lord siy, and was stirid to wrathfulnesse; for hise sones and douytris terriden hym.
१९परमेश्वराने हे पाहिले व आपल्या प्रजेचा धिक्कार केला. कारण प्रजेनेच त्यास चिथवले होते!
20 And the Lord seide, Y schal hyde my face fro hem, and Y schal biholde `the laste thingis of hem; for it is a waiward generacioun, and vnfeithful sones.
२०तो म्हणाला, मी आता त्यांच्यापासून तोंड फिरवतो. त्यांचा शेवट कसा होईल ते मी पाहीन, कारण ही माणसे फार कुटील आहेत. ही मुले अविश्वसनीय मुलांप्रमाणे आहेत.
21 Thei terriden me in hym that was not God, and thei `terriden to ire in her vanytees; and Y schal terre hem in hym, that is not a puple, and Y schal terre hem `to yre in a fonned folk.
२१मूर्तीपूजा करून यांनी माझा कोप ओढवला. मूर्ती म्हणजे देव नव्हेत. क्षुल्लक मूर्ती करून त्यांनी मला क्रुद्ध केले. तेव्हा त्यांना मत्सर वाटेल असे मी करीन. जे एकसंध राष्ट्र नाही अशा लोकांमार्फत, मूढ राष्ट्राच्या योगे मी यांना इर्ष्येस पेटवीन.
22 Fier, that is, peyne maad redi to hem, is kyndlid in my stronge veniaunce, and it schal brenne `til to the laste thingis of helle; and it schal deuoure the lond with his fruyt, and it schal brenne the foundementis of hillis. (Sheol h7585)
२२माझा क्रोध धगधगणाऱ्या अग्नीप्रमाणे आहे. अधोलोकाच्या तळापर्यंत तो जाळत जातो. पृथ्वी व तिच्यावरील वनस्पती, पर्वतांचे पायथे यांनाही तो भस्मसात करतो. (Sheol h7585)
23 Y schal gadere `yuels on hem, and Y schal fille myn arewis in hem.
२३मी इस्राएलांवर संकटे आणीन. त्यांच्यावर मी माझ्या बाणांचा नेम धरीन.
24 Thei schulen be waastid with hungur, and briddis schulen deuoure hem with bitteriste bityng; Y schal sende in to hem the teeth of beestis, with the woodnesse of wormes drawynge on erthe, and of serpentis.
२४भुकेने ते कासावीस होतील. भयंकर प्रखर तापाने व भंयकर मरीने ग्रस्त होतील. वनपशू त्यांच्यावर सोडीन. विषारी साप व सरपटणारे प्राणी त्यांना दंश करतील.
25 Swerd with outforth and drede with ynne schal waaste hem; a yong man and a virgyn togidre, a soukynge child with an elde man.
२५रस्त्यावर सैन्य त्यांना तलवारीने मारेल व घरात ते भयभीत होतील. तरूण पुरुष, स्त्रिया, लहानमुले व वृद्ध सर्वांना सैन्य ठार करेल.
26 And Y seide, Where ben thei? Y schal make the mynde of hem to ceesse of men.
२६लोकांच्या आठवणीतून ते पुसले जातील इतका मी या इस्राएलांचा नाश केला असता.
27 But Y delayede for the yre of enemyes, lest perauenture `the enemyes of hem shulden be proude, and seie, Oure hiy hond, and not the Lord, dide alle these thingis.
२७पण त्यांचा शत्रू काय म्हणेल हे मला माहीत आहे. आम्ही आमच्या सामर्थ्याने जिंकलो. इस्राएलांचा नाश काही परमेश्वरामुळे झाला नाही, अशी ते बढाई मारतील.
28 It is a folk with out counsel, and with out prudence;
२८इस्राएल राष्ट्र विचारशून्य आहे, त्यास समज म्हणून नाहीच.
29 Y wolde that thei saueriden, and `vnderstoden, and purueiden the laste thingis.
२९ते शहाणे असते तर त्यांना समजले असते. त्यांनी पुढच्या परिणामांचा विचार केला असता.
30 How pursuede oon of enemyes a thousynde of Jewis, and tweyne dryuen awey ten thousynde? Whether not therfore for her God selde hem, and the Lord closide hem togidere?
३०एक मनुष्य हजारांचा पाठलाग करु शकेल काय? दोघेजण दहा हजारांना सळो की पळे करून सोडू शकतील का? परमेश्वरानेच या जमावला आपल्या शत्रूच्या हवाली केले तरच ते शक्य आहे. खंद्या दुर्गासमान असणाऱ्या परमेश्वराने त्यांना गुलामांसारखे विकले तरच असे घडेल.
31 For oure God is not as the goddis of hem, and oure enemyes ben iugis.
३१आपल्या शत्रूंचा दुर्ग म्हणजे परमेश्वर आपल्या अभेद्य किल्यासारख्या परमेश्वराच्या तोडीचा नाही हे तेही कबूल करतात.
32 The vyner of hem is of the vyner of Sodom, and of the subarbis of Gomorre; the grape of hem is the grape of galle, and the clustre is most bittir.
३२सदोम आणि गमोरा येथल्याप्रमाणे त्यांची द्राक्षे विषारी आहेत त्यांचे घोस कडूच आहेत.
33 The galle of dragouns is the wyn of hem, and the venym of eddris, that may not be heelid.
३३त्यांची द्राक्षे कडू जहर आणि द्राक्षरस अजगराचे विषारी गरळासमान आहे.
34 Whether these thingis ben not hid at me, and ben seelid in myn tresouris?
३४परमेश्वर म्हणतो अर्थात ही शिक्षा सध्या मी राखून ठेवली आहे. माझ्या भांडारात ती बंदीस्त ठेवली आहे.
35 Veniaunce is myn, and Y schal yelde to hem in tyme, that the foot of hem slide; the dai of perdicioun is nyy, and tymes hasten to be present.
३५अनवधानाने त्यांच्या हातून काही दुष्कृत्ये घडायची मी वाट पाहत आहे. त्यांनी काही वावगे केले की त्यांचा संकटकाळ आलाच म्हणून समजा मी त्यांना शिक्षा करीन.
36 The Lord schal deme his puple, and he schal do merci in hise seruauntis; the puple schal se that the hond of fiyteres is sijk, and also men closid failiden, and the residues ben waastid.
३६परमेश्वर आपल्या प्रजेची कसोटी पाहील. आपल्या सेवकांवर दया दाखवील. पण गुलाम तसेच स्वतंत्र यांना तो सत्ताहीन, असहाय्य करून सोडील.
37 And thei schulen seie, Where ben `the goddis of hem, in whiche thei hadden trust?
३७परमेश्वर म्हणेल, कोठे आहेत ते खोटे देव? तुम्ही आश्रयासाठी ज्याच्याकडे धाव घेतलीत तो कुठे आहे तुमचा दुर्ग?
38 Of whos sacrifices thei eeten fatnessis, and drunkun the wyn of fletynge sacrifices, rise thei and helpe you, and defende thei you in nede.
३८ते खोटे दैवत तुमच्या यज्ञातील चरबी खाणारे, तुम्ही अर्पण केलेल्यातील द्राक्षरस प्राशन करणारे दैवत कोठे आहेत? तेव्हा त्या दैवतांनीच उठून यावे व तुम्हास साहाय्य करावे!
39 Se ye that Y am aloone, and noon other God is outakun me; Y schal sle, and Y schal make to lyue; Y schal smyte, and Y schal make hool; and noon is that may delyuere fro myn hond.
३९तेव्हा आता पाहा, मीच खरा आणि एकमेव देव आहे. अन्य कोणी नाही. लोकांचा तारक मी आणि मारकही मीच, त्यांना घायाळ करणारा मी आणि त्यातून बरे करणाराही मीच. माझ्या समर्थ हातांमधून कोणीही कोणालाही सोडवू शकत नाही!
40 And Y schal reise myn hond to heuene, and Y schal seie, Y lyue with outen ende.
४०आकाशाकडे बाहू उभारुन मी हे वचन देत आहे. मी सनातन आहे हे सत्य असेल तर या गोष्टी खऱ्या होतील.
41 If Y schal whette my swerd as leit, and myn hond schal take doom, Y schal yelde veniaunce to myn enemyes, and Y schal quyte to hem that haten me.
४१माझी लखलखाती तलवार परजून मी शत्रूंना शासन करीन. ते याच शिक्षेला पात्र आहेत.
42 Y schal fille myn arewis with blood, and my swerd schal deuoure fleischis of the blood of hem that ben slayn, and of the caitifte of the heed of enemyes maad nakid.
४२माझे शत्रू ठार होतील. त्यांचा पाडाव होईल ते कैद होतील. माझ्या बाणांची टोके त्यांच्या रक्ताने माखतील आणि माझे तलवारीचे पाते शत्रू सैन्याचा शिरच्छेद करील.
43 Folkis, preise ye the puplis of hym, for he schal venie the blood of hise seruauntis, and he schal yelde veniaunce in to the enemyes of hem; and he schal be merciful to the lond of his puple.
४३समस्त राष्ट्रांनो, देवाचा प्रजेचा जयजयकार करा. कारण हा देव आपल्या सेवकांच्या बाजूने उभा राहतो. आपल्या सेवकांचा संहार करु पाहणाऱ्यांना शासन करतो. शत्रूला योग्य अशी शिक्षा देतो. आणि आपली प्रजा आणि प्रदेश ह्यांच्यासाठी प्रायश्चित करतो.
44 Therfor Moises cam, and spak alle the wordis of this song in the eeris of the puple; bothe he and Josue, the sone of Nun.
४४मोशेने या गीताचे शब्द सर्व इस्राएलांना ऐकू जातील असे ऐकवले. नूनाचा पुत्र होशा (म्हणजेच, यहोशवा) मोशेबरोबर होता.
45 And `he fillide alle these wordis, and spak to alle Israel, and seide to hem,
४५ह्याप्रमाणे मोशेने ही सर्व वचने इस्राएल लोकांस सांगण्याचे संपविल्यावर
46 Putte ye youre hertis in to alle the wordis whiche Y witnesse to you to day, that ye comaunde to youre sones, to kepe, and do tho, and to fulfille alle thingis that ben writun in the book of this lawe;
४६मोशे लोकांस म्हणाला, “मी ज्या गोष्टी आज सांगतो त्या लक्षपूर्वक ऐका. आपल्या मुलाबाळांनाही या नियमशास्त्राचे काटेकोरपणे पालन करायला सांगा.
47 for not in veyn tho ben comaundid to you, but that alle men schulden lyue in tho; whiche wordis ye schulen do, and schulen contynue in long tyme in the lond, to which ye schulen entre to welde, whanne Jordan is passid.
४७त्यांचे महत्व कमी लेखू नका. या आज्ञांवरच तुमचे जीवन अवलंबून आहे. त्यायोगेच तुम्ही आपल्याला मिळणार असलेल्या त्या यार्देन नदीपलीकडच्या प्रदेशात दीर्घकाळ वास्तव्य कराल.”
48 And the Lord spak to Moises in the same day,
४८त्याच दिवशी परमेश्वर मोशेशी बोलला. तो म्हणाला,
49 and seide, Stie thou in to this hil Abirym, that is, passyng, in to the hil of Nebo, which is in the lond of Moab, ayens Jerico; and se thou the lond of Canaan, which Y schal yyue to the sones of Israel to holde, and die thou in the hil.
४९“मवाब देशात, यरीहो शहराच्या समोर अबारीम पर्वतांमध्ये जो नबो डोंगर आहे त्या डोंगरावर जा. मी इस्राएलांना जो कनान देश देणार आहे तो तू तेथून पाहू शकशील.
50 In to which hil thou schalt stie, and schalt be ioyned to thi puplis, as Aaron, thi brother, was deed in the hil of Hor, and was put to his puplis.
५०या डोंगरावर तुझे निधन होईल. तुझा भाऊ अहरोन हा जसा होर डोंगरावर मृत्यू पावल्यावर स्वजनांना मिळाला तसेच तुझे होईल.
51 For ye trespassiden ayens me, in the myddis of the sones of Israel, at the Watris of Ayenseiyng, in Cades of deseert of Syn; and ye halewiden not me among the sones of Israel.
५१कारण तुम्ही दोघांनीही माझ्याविरूद्ध पाप केले आहे. कादेश जवळच्या मरीबा झऱ्यापाशी तुम्ही होता. सीन वाळवंटातील ही गोष्ट आहे. तेथे इस्राएलांसमोर तुम्ही माझा विश्वासघात केला तसेच मला पवित्र मानले नाही.
52 Ayenward thou schalt se the lond, and schalt not entre in to it, which Y schal yyue to the sones of Israel.
५२तेव्हा मी इस्राएलांना देणार असलेली भूमी तू पाहू शकतोस पण तुझे तेथे जाणे होणार नाही.”
