Deuteronomy 30
1 Therfor whanne alle these wordis comen on thee, blessyng ether cursing, which Y settide forth in thi siyt, and thou art led bi repentaunce of thin herte among alle folkis, in to whiche thi Lord God hath scaterid thee,
Om du nu, när allt detta kommer över dig -- välsignelsen och förbannelsen som jag har förelagt dig -- om du lägger detta på hjärtat bland alla de folk till vilka HERREN, din Gud, då har drivit dig bort,
2 and turnest ayen to hym, and obeiest to hise comaundementis, as Y comaundide to thee to dai, with thi sones, in al thin herte and in al thi soule,
och du så vänder åter till HERREN, din Gud, och hör hans röst, du med dina barn, av allt ditt hjärta och av all din själ, i alla stycken såsom jag i dag bjuder dig,
3 thi Lord God schal lede thee ayen fro thi caitifte, and schal haue mercy on thee, and eft he schal gadre thee from alle puplis, in to whiche he scateride the bifore.
då skall HERREN, din Gud, åter upprätta dig och förbarma sig över dig; HERREN, din Gud, skall då åter församla dig från alla folk bland vilka han har förstrött dig.
4 If thou art scaterid to the endis of heuene, fro thennus thi Lord God schal withdrawe thee;
Om ock dina fördrivna vore vid himmelens ända, skulle HERREN, din Gud, församla dig därifrån och hämta dig därifrån.
5 and he schal take and schal bringe thee in to the lond which thi fadris weldiden; and thou schalt holde it, and he schal blesse thee, and schal make thee to be of more noumbre than thi fadris weren.
Och HERREN, din Gud, skall låta dig komma in i det land som dina fäder hava haft till besittning; och du skall taga det i besittning, och han skall göra dig gott och skall föröka dig mer än han har gjort med dina fäder.
6 Thi Lord God schal circumcide thin herte, and the herte of thi seed, that thou loue thi Lord God in al thin herte and in al thi soule, and maist liue.
Och HERREN, din Gud. skall omskära ditt hjärta och dina efterkommandes hjärtan, så att du skall älska HERREN, din Gud, av allt ditt hjärta och av all din själ, för att du må leva.
7 Forsothe the Lord schal turne alle these cursyngis on thin enemyes, and on hem that haten and pursuen thee.
Och HERREN, din Gud, skall lägga alla dessa förbannelser på dina fiender och på dem som hata och förfölja dig.
8 Sotheli thou schalt turne ayen, and schalt here the vois of thi Lord God, and schalt do alle the heestis whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai;
Och du skall åter höra HERRENS röst och göra efter alla hans bud, som jag i dag giver dig.
9 and thi Lord God schal make thee to be plenteuouse, in alle the workis of thin hondis, in the children of thi wombe, and in the fruyt of thi beestis, in abundaunce of thi lond, and in largenesse of alle thingis. For the Lord schal turne ayen, that he haue ioye on thee in alle goodis, as he ioyede in thi fadris;
Och HERREN, din Gud, skall giva dig överflöd och lycka i alla dina händers verk, i ditt livs frukt och i din boskaps frukt och i din marks frukt. Ty såsom HERREN fröjdade sig över dina fäder, skall han då åter fröjda sig över dig och göra dig gott,
10 if netheles thou herist the voys of thi Lord God, and kepist hise heestis and cerymonys, that ben writun in this lawe, and thou turne ayen to thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule.
när du hör HERRENS, din Guds, röst, så att du håller hans bud och stadgar, det som är skrivet i denna lagbok, och när du vänder åter till HERREN, din Gud, av allt ditt hjärta och av all din själ.
11 This comaundement whiche Y comaunde to thee to day,
Ty det bud som jag i dag giver dig är dig icke för svårt och är icke långt borta.
12 is not aboue thee, nethir is set fer, nethir is set in heuene, that thou maist seie, Who of vs may stie to heuene, that he brynge it to vs, and we here, and fille in werk?
Det är icke i himmelen, så att du skulle behöva säga: »Vem vill för oss fara upp till himmelen och hämta det åt oss och låta oss höra det, så att vi kunna göra därefter?»
13 nether it is set biyende the see, `that thou pleyne, and seye, Who of vs may passe ouer the see, and brynge it til to vs, that we moun here and do that that is comaundid?
Det är icke heller på andra sidan havet, så att du skulle behöva säga: »Vem vill för oss fara över till andra sidan havet och hämta det åt oss och låta oss höra det, så att vi kunna göra därefter?»
14 But the word is ful nyy thee, in thi mouth and in thin herte, that thou do it.
Nej, ordet är dig mycket nära, i din mun och i ditt hjärta, så att du kan göra därefter.
15 Biholde thou, that to day Y haue set forth in thi siyt lijf and good, and ayenward deeth and yuel;
Se, jag förelägger dig i dag livet och vad gott är, döden och vad ont är,
16 that thou loue thi Lord God, and go in hise weies, and kepe hise heestis, and cerymonyes, and domes; and that thou lyue, and he multiplie thee, and blesse thee in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde.
då jag nu i dag bjuder dig att älska HERREN, din Gud, att vandra på hans vägar och hålla hans bud och stadgar och rätter, för att du må leva och föröka dig, och för att HERREN, din Gud, må välsigna dig i det land dit du nu kommer, för att taga det i besittning.
17 But if thin herte is turned awey, and thou nylt here, and thou art disseyued bi errour, and worschipist alien goddis,
Men om ditt hjärta vänder sig bort och du icke vill höra, om du låter förföra dig, så att du tillbeder andra gudar och tjänar dem,
18 and seruest hem, Y biforseie to thee to dai, that thou schalt perische, and schalt dwelle litil tyme in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde, whanne thou schalt passe Jordan.
så förkunnar jag eder i dag att I förvisso skolen förgås. I skolen då icke länge leva i det land dit du nu drager över Jordan, för att komma och taga det i besittning.
19 Y clepe to day heuene and erthe witnesses, that is, aungels and men, that Y haue set forth to you lijf and deeth, good and yuel, blessyng and cursyng; therfor chese thou lijf, that bothe thou lyue and thi seed,
Jag tager i dag himmel och jord till vittnen mot eder, att jag har förelagt dig liv och död, välsignelse och förbannelse, Så må du då välja livet, för att du och dina efterkommande mån leva,
20 and that thou loue thi Lord God, and obeie to his vois, and cleue to hym, for he is thi lijf, and the lengthe of thi daies; that thou dwelle in the lond, for which the Lord swoor to thi fadris, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that he schulde yyue it to hem.
i det att du älskar HERREN, din Gud, och hör hans röst och håller dig till honom; ty detta betyder för dig liv och lång levnad, så att du får bo i det land som HERREN med ed har lovat dina fäder, Abraham, Isak och Jakob, att giva dem.
