Deuteronomy 30
1 Therfor whanne alle these wordis comen on thee, blessyng ether cursing, which Y settide forth in thi siyt, and thou art led bi repentaunce of thin herte among alle folkis, in to whiche thi Lord God hath scaterid thee,
När nu allt detta kommer öfver dig, antingen välsignelsen eller förbannelsen, som jag dig föresatt hafver, och du begynner lägga på hjertat, huru du äst ibland Hedningar, dit Herren din Gud dig fördrifvit hafver;
2 and turnest ayen to hym, and obeiest to hise comaundementis, as Y comaundide to thee to dai, with thi sones, in al thin herte and in al thi soule,
Och du omvänder dig till Herran din Gud, så att du lyder hans röst, du och din barn, af allo hjerta, och af allo själ, i allt det som jag bjuder dig i denna dag;
3 thi Lord God schal lede thee ayen fro thi caitifte, and schal haue mercy on thee, and eft he schal gadre thee from alle puplis, in to whiche he scateride the bifore.
Så skall Herren din Gud vända ditt fängelse, och förbarma sig öfver dig, och skall åter församla dig utur all folk, dit Herren din Gud dig förskingrat hafver.
4 If thou art scaterid to the endis of heuene, fro thennus thi Lord God schal withdrawe thee;
Om du vore bortdrifven allt intill himmelens ända, så skall dock Herren din Gud församla dig dädan, och hemta dig dädan.
5 and he schal take and schal bringe thee in to the lond which thi fadris weldiden; and thou schalt holde it, and he schal blesse thee, and schal make thee to be of more noumbre than thi fadris weren.
Och Herren din Gud skall låta dig komma i det land, som dine fäder besutit hafva; och du skall det intaga, och han skall göra dig godt, och föröka dig öfver dina fäder.
6 Thi Lord God schal circumcide thin herte, and the herte of thi seed, that thou loue thi Lord God in al thin herte and in al thi soule, and maist liue.
Och Herren din Gud skall omskära ditt hjerta, och dine säds hjerta, att du Herran din Gud älska skall af allo hjerta, och af allo själ; på det att du må lefva.
7 Forsothe the Lord schal turne alle these cursyngis on thin enemyes, and on hem that haten and pursuen thee.
Men denna förbannelsen skall Herren din Gud alla låta komma uppå dina fiendar, och uppå dem som dig hata och förfölja.
8 Sotheli thou schalt turne ayen, and schalt here the vois of thi Lord God, and schalt do alle the heestis whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai;
Men du skall omvända dig, och lyda Herrans röst, att du gör all hans bud, som jag bjuder dig i dag.
9 and thi Lord God schal make thee to be plenteuouse, in alle the workis of thin hondis, in the children of thi wombe, and in the fruyt of thi beestis, in abundaunce of thi lond, and in largenesse of alle thingis. For the Lord schal turne ayen, that he haue ioye on thee in alle goodis, as he ioyede in thi fadris;
Och Herren din Gud skall gifva dig lycko i alla dina händers gerningar; i dins lifs frukt, i dins boskaps frukt, i dins lands frukt, att det kommer dig till godo; ty Herren skall vända sig, så att han skall fröjda sig öfver dig, dig till godo, såsom han sig öfver dina fäder fröjdat hafver;
10 if netheles thou herist the voys of thi Lord God, and kepist hise heestis and cerymonys, that ben writun in this lawe, and thou turne ayen to thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule.
Derföre, att du Herrans dins Guds röst lyder, till att hålla hans bud och rätter, som skrifne äro i desso lagbok; såframt du vänder dig till Herran din Gud af allo hjerta, och af allo själ.
11 This comaundement whiche Y comaunde to thee to day,
Ty det budet, som jag bjuder dig i dag, är dig icke fördoldt, ej heller för fjerran;
12 is not aboue thee, nethir is set fer, nethir is set in heuene, that thou maist seie, Who of vs may stie to heuene, that he brynge it to vs, and we here, and fille in werk?
Ej heller i himmelen, så att du måtte säga: Ho vill fara oss upp i himmelen, och hemta oss det, att vi måge hörat och görat?
13 nether it is set biyende the see, `that thou pleyne, and seye, Who of vs may passe ouer the see, and brynge it til to vs, that we moun here and do that that is comaundid?
Det är icke heller på hinsidon hafvet, så att du måtte säga: Ho vill fara oss öfver hafvet, och hemta oss det, att vi måge hörat och görat?
14 But the word is ful nyy thee, in thi mouth and in thin herte, that thou do it.
Ty ordet är ganska hardt när dig, i dinom mun, och i dino hjerta, att du det göra må.
15 Biholde thou, that to day Y haue set forth in thi siyt lijf and good, and ayenward deeth and yuel;
Si, jag hafver i dag satt dig före lifvet, och det goda; döden, och det onda;
16 that thou loue thi Lord God, and go in hise weies, and kepe hise heestis, and cerymonyes, and domes; and that thou lyue, and he multiplie thee, and blesse thee in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde.
Det jag bjuder dig i dag, att du skall älska Herran din Gud, och vandra i hans vägar, och hålla hans bud, lag och rätter, och få lefva, och varda förökad; och Herren din Gud skall välsigna dig i landena, der du indrager till att intaga det.
17 But if thin herte is turned awey, and thou nylt here, and thou art disseyued bi errour, and worschipist alien goddis,
Men vänder du ditt hjerta, och lyder icke, utan låter förföra dig, så att du tillbeder andra gudar, och tjenar dem;
18 and seruest hem, Y biforseie to thee to dai, that thou schalt perische, and schalt dwelle litil tyme in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde, whanne thou schalt passe Jordan.
Så förkunnar jag eder i dag, att I skolen förgås, och icke länge blifva i landena, der du indrager öfver Jordan, det att intaga.
19 Y clepe to day heuene and erthe witnesses, that is, aungels and men, that Y haue set forth to you lijf and deeth, good and yuel, blessyng and cursyng; therfor chese thou lijf, that bothe thou lyue and thi seed,
Jag tager i dag himmel och jord till vittne öfver eder, jag hafver satt eder före lifvet och döden, välsignelse och förbannelse, att du skall utvälja lifvet, och du och din säd mågen lefva;
20 and that thou loue thi Lord God, and obeie to his vois, and cleue to hym, for he is thi lijf, and the lengthe of thi daies; that thou dwelle in the lond, for which the Lord swoor to thi fadris, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that he schulde yyue it to hem.
Att I skolen älska Herran edar Gud, och lyda hans röst, och hålla eder intill honom; ty det är ditt lif, och din långa ålder, att du må bo i landena, som Herren dina fäder, Abraham, Isaac och Jacob, svorit hafver dem att gifva.
