Deuteronomy 2
1 And we yeden forth fro thennus, and camen in to the wildirnesse that ledith to the Reed See, as the Lord seide to me; and we cumpassiden the hil of Seir in long tyme.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇಯೀರ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮಲೆನಾಡನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು.
2 And the Lord seide to me, It sufficith to you to cumpasse this hil;
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ,
3 go ye ayens the north.
“ನೀವು ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಸಾಕು. ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
4 And comaunde thou to the puple, and seie, Ye schulen passe bi the termes of youre britheren, the sones of Esau, that dwellen in Seir, and thei schulen drede you.
ನೀವು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ನೀವು ಸೇಯೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಪುತ್ರರ ಗಡಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಬಹಳ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು.
5 Therfor se ye diligentli, that ye be not moued ayens hem; for Y schal not yyue to you of the land `of hem as myche as the steppe of o foot may trede, for Y yaf the hil of Seir in to the possessioun of Esau.
ಅವರನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾದವಿಡುವಷ್ಟು ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸೇಯೀರ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವದೇಶವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
6 Ye schulden bie of hem metis for money, and ye schulen ete; ye schulden drawe, and drynke watir bouyt.
ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.’”
7 Thi Lord God blesside thee in al the werk of thin hondis; he knewe thi weye, hou thou passidist this moste wildirnesse, bi fourti yeer; and thi Lord God dwellide with thee, and no thing failide to thee.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀವು ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ನಲವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದರು. ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 And whanne we hadden passid bi oure britheren, the sones of Esau, that dwelliden in Seir, bi the weie of the feeld of Elath, and of Asiongaber, we camen to the weie that ledith in to deseert of Moab.
ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾವು ಸೇಯೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಓರೆಯಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅರಾಬಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಏಲತ್, ಎಚ್ಯೋನ್ ಗೆಬೆರ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ, ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋದೆವು.
9 And the Lord seide to me, Fiyte thou not ayens Moabitis, nether bigyn thou batel ayens hem, for Y schal not yyue to thee ony thing of the lond `of hem, for Y yaf Ar in to possessioun to `the sones of Loth.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ, “ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡಬೇಡಿರಿ ಅಥವಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಲೋಟನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆರ್ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದರು.
10 Emyn, `that is, griseful men, weren first dwelleris therof, a greet puple, and strong, and so hiy, that thei weren bileued as giantis,
ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಮಿಯರು ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಅನಾಕ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರೂ ಬಹುಜನರೂ ಎತ್ತರವಾದವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.
11 of the generacioun of Enachym, and thei weren lijk the sones of Enachym; forsothe Moabitis clepen hem Emyn.
ಅವರು ಅನಾಕ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ರೆಫಾಯರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವದುಂಟು. ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಏಮಿಯರೆಂದು ಕರೆದರು.
12 Forsothe Horreis dwelliden bifore in Seir, and whanne thei weren put out, and weren doon awey, `the sones of Esau dwelliden there, as Israel dide in the lond of his possessioun, which the Lord yaf to hym.
ಅದೇ ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಿಯರು ಸೇಯೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ತರುವಾಯ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಾಡನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಏಸಾವ್ಯರು ಬಂದು ಹೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು.
13 Therfor we riseden, that we schulden passe the stronde of Zared, and camen to it.
“ಈಗ ಎದ್ದು ಜೆರೆದ್ ಹಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾವು ಜೆರೆದ್ ಹಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದೆವು.
14 Sotheli the tyme in whiche we yeden fro Cades Barne `til to the passynge of the stronde of Zared, was of eiyte and thretti yeer, til al the generacioun of `men fiyteris was wastid fro `the castels, as the Lord hadde swore; whos hond was ayens hem,
ನಾವು ಕಾದೇಶ್ ಬರ್ನೇಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಂದಿನಿಂದ ಜೆರೆದ್ ಹಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದವರೆಗೆ ಗತಿಸಿದ ಕಾಲವು ಮೂವತ್ತೆಂಟು ವರ್ಷ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಸಂತತಿಯ ಸೈನಿಕರೆಲ್ಲರು ಸತ್ತುಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು.
15 that thei schulden perische fro the myddis of `the castels.
ಪಾಳೆಯದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹಾಕುವವರೆಗೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು.
16 Forsothe after that alle the fiyteris felden doun,
ಉಳಿದ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ,
17 the Lord spak to me, and seide,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ,
18 Thou schalt passe to dai the termes of Moab,
“ಇಂದು ನೀನು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಆರ್ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ದಾಟಬೇಕು.
19 the cytee, Ar bi name, and thou schalt neiy in the nyy coost of the sones of Amon; be thou war that thou fiyte not ayens hem, nether be moued to batel; for Y schal not yyue to thee of the lond of the sones of Amon, for Y yaf it to the `sones of Loth in to possessioun.
ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಿರುಕುಳ ನೀಡಬೇಡಿರಿ ಅಥವಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಲೋಟನ ವಂಶದವರಾದ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರಿಗೆ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಭಾಗವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು.
20 It is arettid the lond of giauntis, and giauntis enhabitiden therynne sumtyme, whiche giauntis Amonytis clepen Zonym;
ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಫಾಯರು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅದು ಸಹ ರೆಫಾಯರ ದೇಶವೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜಂಜುಮ್ಯರೆಂದು ಕರೆದರು.
21 a myche puple and greet, and of noble lengthe, as Enachym, whiche the Lord dide awey fro the face of hem,
ಅವರು ಅನಾಕ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರೂ ಬಹುಜನರೂ ಎತ್ತರವಾದವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು.
22 and made hem to dwelle for `tho giauntis, as he dide to the sones of Esau, that dwellen in Seire, `and dide awai Horreis, and yaf to hem the lond `of Horreis, which `the sones of Esau welden `til in to present tyme.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸೇಯೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಯಿತು. ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಹೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ, ಇವರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
23 Also men of Capadocie puttiden out Eueys, that dwelliden in Asseryn, `til to Gaza; which yeden out fro Capadocie, and diden awey Eueis, and dwelliden for hem.
ಹಾಗೆ ಗಾಜಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣದವರೆಗೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅವ್ವೀಯರನ್ನು ಕಫ್ತೋರಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಕಫ್ತೋರ್ಯರು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು.
24 Rise ye, and `passe ye the stronde of Arnon; lo! Y haue bitake in `thin hond Seon, king of Esebon, of Amorreis; and his lond bigynne thou `to welde, and smyte thou batel ayens him.
“ಈಗ ಏಳಿರಿ, ಹೊರಡಿರಿ, ಅರ್ನೋನ್ ಹಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿರಿ, ಇಗೋ, ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸ ಅಮೋರಿಯನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ, ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಮಾಡಿರಿ.
25 To dai Y schal bigynne to sende thi drede and strengthe in to puplis that dwellen vndir al heuene, that whanne thi name is herd, thei drede, and tremble bi the maner of wymmen trauelynge of child, and `be holdun with sorewe.
ಇದೇ ದಿವಸ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಭಯವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಡುಗಿ ಅಂಜುವರು,” ಎಂದರು.
26 Therfor Y sente messangeris fro the wildirnesse of Cademoch to Seon, kyng of Esebon; and Y seide with pesible wordis,
ಆಗ ನಾನು ಕೆದೇಮೋತೆಂಬ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ,
27 We schulen passe thorou thi lond, we schulen go in the comyn weie; we schulen not bowe nether to the riyt side, nether to the left side.
“ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಡನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು. ನಾವು ಎಡಕ್ಕೂ ಬಲಕ್ಕೂ ತಿರುಗದೆ ರಾಜ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೋಗುವೆವು.
28 Sille thow metis `to vs for prijs, that we ete; yif thow watir for money, and so we schulen drynke. Oneli it is that thou graunte passage to vs,
ನಾವು ಊಣ್ಣುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ನೀರನ್ನು ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕಾಲ್ನಡಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಡನ್ನು ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವಷ್ಟೆ.
29 as the sones of Esau diden, that dwellen in Seir, and as Moabitis diden, that dwellen in Ar, til we comen to Jordan, and passen to the lond which oure Lord God schal yyue to vs.
ನಾವು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವವರಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸೇಯೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಆರ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರೂ ನಮಗೆ ದಾರಿಕೊಟ್ಟಂತೆ ನೀವೂ ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದೆನು.
30 And Seon, kyng of Esebon, nolde yyue passage `to vs; for thi Lord God made hard his spirit, and made sad in yuel `the herte of hym, that he schulde be bitakun in to thin hondis, as thou seest now.
ಆದರೆ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ದಾಟಿಹೋಗಲು ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಕುಮಾಡಿ, ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅದು ನೆರವೇರಿದೆ.
31 And the Lord seide to me, Lo, Y bigan to bitake to thee Seon, and his lond; bigynne thou to welde it.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ, “ಸೀಹೋನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಮಾಡು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
32 And Seon yede out ayens vs with al his puple to batel in Jasa.
ಆಗ ಸೀಹೋನನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡ ನಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಹಚಗೆ ಹೊರಟುಬಂದನು.
33 And oure Lord God bitook hym to vs, and we han smyte hym with hise sones, and al his puple.
ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದೆವು.
34 And we token in that tyme alle the citees, whanne the dwelleris of tho citees, men, and wymmen, and children weren slayn; we leften not in hem ony thing,
ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರನ್ನೂ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು. ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
35 outakun beestis that camen in to the part of men takynge prey, and outakun spuylis of the cytees whiche we tokun.
ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನಮಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿದೆವು.
36 Fro Aroer, which is on the brenke of the stronde of Arnon, fro the toun which is set in the valey, `til to Galaad, no town was ether citee, that ascapide oure hondis.
ಅರ್ನೋನಿನ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರೋಯೇರ್ ಹಳ್ಳದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಮೊದಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದರೂ ನಮಗೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ದೇಶದ ಯಬ್ಬೋಕ್ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನೂ ಪರ್ವತ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ಬೇಡವೆಂದ ಕಾರಣ, ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
