Deuteronomy 16
1 Kepe thou the monethe of newe fruytis, and of the bigynnyng of somer, that thou make pask to thi Lord God; for in this monethe thi Lord God ledde thee out of Egipt in the nyyt.
Prends garde au mois que les épis mûrissent, et fais la Pâque à l'Eternel ton Dieu; car au mois que les épis mûrissent, l'Eternel ton Dieu t'a fait sortir de nuit hors d'Egypte.
2 And thou schalt offre pask to thi Lord God, of scheep and of oxun, in the place which thi Lord God chees, that his name dwelle there.
Et sacrifie la Pâque à l'Eternel ton Dieu du gros et du menu bétail, au lieu que l'Eternel aura choisi pour y faire habiter son Nom.
3 Thou schalt not ete `ther ynne breed `diyt with sourdouy; in seuene daies thou schalt ete breed of affliccioun, with out sourdouy, for in drede thou yedist out of Egipt, that thou haue mynde of the dai of thi goyng out of Egipt, in alle the daies of thi lijf.
Tu ne mangeras point avec elle de pain levé; tu mangeras avec elle pendant sept jours des pains sans levain, pains d'affliction, parce que tu es sorti en hâte du pays d'Egypte, afin que tous les jours de ta vie tu te souviennes du jour que tu es sorti du pays d'Egypte.
4 No thing `diyt with sourdouy schal appere in alle thi termes by seuene daies, and of the fleischis of that that is offrid in the euentid, schal not dwelle in the firste dai in the morewtid.
Il ne se verra point de levain chez toi dans toute l'étendue de ton pays pendant sept jours, et on ne gardera rien de la chair du sacrifice que tu auras fait le soir du premier jour, jusqu'au matin.
5 Thou schalt not mow offre pask in ech of thi citees whiche thi Lord God schal yyue to thee,
Tu ne pourras point sacrifier la Pâque dans tous les lieux de ta demeure que l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne;
6 but in the place which thi Lord God chees, that his name dwelle there; thou schalt offre pask in the euentid, at the goyng doun of the sunne, whanne thou yedist out of Egipt.
Mais [seulement] au lieu que l'Eternel ton Dieu aura choisi pour y faire habiter son Nom; c'est là que tu sacrifieras la Pâque au soir, sitôt que le soleil sera couché, précisément au temps que tu sortis d'Egypte.
7 And thou schalt sethe, and ete, in the place which thi Lord God hath chose, and thou schalt rise in the morewtid of the secunde dai, and thou schalt go in to thi tabernaclis.
Et l'ayant fait cuire, tu la mangeras au lieu que l'Eternel ton Dieu aura choisi; et le matin tu t'en retourneras et t'en iras dans tes tentes.
8 Bi sixe daies thou schalt ete therf breed; and in the seuenthe dai, for it is the gaderyng of thi Lord God, thou schalt not do werk.
Pendant six jours tu mangeras des pains sans levain, et au septième jour, qui est l'assemblée solennelle à l'Eternel ton Dieu, tu ne feras aucune œuvre.
9 Thou schalt noumbre to thee seuene woukis, fro that dai in which thou settidist a sikil in to the corn;
Tu te compteras sept semaines; tu commenceras à compter [ces] sept semaines, depuis que tu auras commencé à mettre la faucille en la moisson.
10 and thou schalt halewe the feeste dai of woukis to thi Lord God, a wilful offryng of thyn hond, which thou schalt offre by the blessing of thi Lord God.
Puis tu feras la fête solennelle des semaines à l'Eternel ton Dieu, en présentant l'offrande volontaire de ta main, laquelle tu donneras, selon que l'Eternel ton Dieu t'aura béni.
11 And thou schalt ete bifore thi Lord God, thou, and thi sone, and thi douytir, and thi seruaunt, and thin handmayde, and the dekene which is with ynne thi yatis, and the comelynge, and the fadirles ethir modirles child, and the widue, that dwellen with you, in the place `which thi Lord God chees that his name dwelle there.
Et tu te réjouiras en la présence de l'Eternel ton Dieu, toi, ton fils, ta fille, ton serviteur, ta servante, et le Lévite qui est dans tes portes; l'étranger, l'orphelin, et la veuve qui sont parmi toi, au lieu que l'Eternel ton Dieu aura choisi pour y faire habiter son Nom.
12 And thou schalt haue mynde for thou were seruaunt in Egipt, and thou schalt kepe and do tho thingis that ben comaundid.
Et tu te souviendras que tu as été esclave en Egypte, et tu prendras garde à observer ces statuts.
13 And thou schalt halewe the solempnytee of tabernaclis bi seuene daies, whanne thou hast gaderid thi fruytis of the cornfloor, and pressour.
Tu feras la fête solennelle des Tabernacles pendant sept jours, après que tu auras recueilli [les revenus] de ton aire et de ta cuve.
14 And thou schalt ete in thi feeste dai, thou, and thi sone, and douytir, and thi seruaunt, and handmayde, also the dekene, and comelyng, and the fadirles ether modirles child, and the widewe, that ben with ynne thi yatis, `schulen ete.
Et tu te réjouiras en ta fête solennelle, toi, ton fils, ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, le Lévite, l'étranger, l'orphelin, et la veuve qui sont dans tes portes.
15 Bi seuene daies thou schalt halewe feestis to thi Lord God, in the place which the Lord chees; and thi Lord God schal blesse thee, in alle thi fruytis, and in al the werk of thin hondis, and thou schalt be in gladnesse.
Tu célébreras pendant sept jours la fête solennelle à l'Eternel ton Dieu, au lieu que l'Eternel aura choisi, quand l'Eternel ton Dieu t'aura béni dans toute ta récolte, et dans tout l'ouvrage de tes mains; et tu seras dans la joie.
16 In thre tymes bi the yeer al thi male kynde schal appere in the siyt of thi Lord, in the place which he chees, in the solempnyte of therf looues, and in the solempnyte of woukis, and in the solempnyte of tabernaclis. A man schal not appere voide bifor the Lord;
Trois fois l'an tout mâle d'entre vous se présentera devant l'Eternel ton Dieu, au lieu qu'il aura choisi; [savoir] à la fête solennelle des pains sans levain, et à la fête solennelle des Semaines, et à la fête solennelle des Tabernacles. Mais nul ne se présentera devant la face de l'Eternel à vide.
17 but ech man schal offre vpe this that he hath, bi the blessyng of his Lord God, which he yaf to `that man.
[Mais] chacun donnera à proportion de ce qu'il aura, selon la bénédiction de l'Eternel ton Dieu, laquelle il t'aura donnée.
18 Thou schalt ordeyne `iugis, and maystris, in alle thi yatis whiche thi Lord God schal yyue to thee, bi ech of thi lynagis, that thei deme the puple bi iust doom,
Tu t'établiras des juges et des prévôts dans toutes tes villes, lesquelles l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne, selon tes Tribus; afin qu'ils jugent le peuple par un jugement droit.
19 and bowe not in `to the tother part for fauour, ethir yifte `ayens equete. Thou schalt not take persoone nether yiftis, for whi yiftis blynden the iyen of wise men, `and chaungen the wordis of iust men.
Tu ne te détourneras point de la justice et tu n'auras point égard à l'apparence des personnes. Tu ne prendras aucun présent; car le présent aveugle les yeux des sages, et corrompt les paroles des justes.
20 Thou schalt pursue iustli that that is iust, that thou lyue and welde the lond which thi Lord God schal yyue to thee.
Tu suivras exactement la justice, afin que tu vives, et que tu possèdes le pays que l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne.
21 Thou schalt not plaunte a wode, and ech tre bi the auter of thi Lord God;
Tu ne planteras point de bocage, de quelque arbre que ce soit, auprès de l'autel de l'Eternel ton Dieu, lequel tu te seras fait.
22 nether thou schalt make to thee, and ordeyne an ymage; whiche thingis thi Lord God hatith.
Tu ne te dresseras point non plus de statue; l'Eternel ton Dieu hait ces choses.
