Deuteronomy 10
1 In that tyme the Lord seide to me, Hewe thou twei tablis of stoon to thee, as the formere weren; and stie thou to me `in to the hil. And thou schalt make an arke,
Zu derselben Zeit sprach der HERR zu mir: Haue dir zwo steinerne Tafeln, wie die ersten, und komm zu mir auf den Berg und mache dir eine hölzerne Lade,
2 `ether a cofere, of tree, and Y schal write in the tablis, the wordis that weren in these tablis whiche thou brakist bifore; and thou schalt putte tho tablis in to the arke.
so will ich auf die Tafeln schreiben die Worte, die auf den ersten waren, die du zerbrochen hast; und sollst sie in die Lade legen.
3 Therfor Y made an ark of the trees of Sechim, and whanne Y hadde hewe twei tablis of stoon, at the licnesse of the formere tablis, Y stiede in to the hil, and hadde the tablis in the hondis.
Also machte ich eine Lade von Föhrenholz und hieb zwo steinerne Tafeln, wie die ersten waren, und ging auf den Berg und hatte die zwo Tafeln in meinen Händen.
4 And he wroot in the tablis, bi that that he `hadde writun bifore, ten wordis, whiche the Lord spak to you in the hil, fro the myddis of the fyer, whanne the puple was gaderid, and he yaf the tablis to me.
Da schrieb er auf die Tafeln, wie die erste Schrift war, die zehn Worte, die der HERR zu euch redete aus dem Feuer auf dem Berge, zur Zeit der Versammlung; und der HERR gab sie mir.
5 And Y turnide ayen fro the hil, and cam doun, and puttide the tablis in to the arke which Y hadde maad, `whiche tablis ben there hidur to, as the Lord comaundide to me.
Und ich wandte mich und ging vom Berge; und legte die Tafeln in die Lade, die ich gemacht hatte, daß sie daselbst wären, wie mir der HERR geboten hatte.
6 Forsothe the sones of Israel moueden tentis fro Beroth of the sones of Jachan in to Mosera, where Aaron was deed, and biried, for whom his sone Eleazar was set in preesthod.
Und die Kinder Israel zogen aus von Beroth-Bne-Jakan gen Moser. Daselbst starb Aaron und ist daselbst begraben; und sein Sohn Eleasar ward für ihn Priester.
7 Fro thennus thei camen in to Galgad; fro which place thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Jehabatha, in the lond of watris and of strondis.
Von dannen zogen sie aus gen Gudegoda; von Gudegoda gen Jathbath, ein Land, da Bäche sind.
8 In that tyme Y departide the lynage of Leuy, that it schulde bere the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, and schulde stonde bifor hym in seruyce, and schulde blesse in his name til in to present dai.
Zur selben Zeit sonderte der HERR den Stamm Levi aus, die Lade des Bundes des HERRN zu tragen und zu stehen vor dem HERRN, ihm zu dienen und seinen Namen zu loben, bis auf diesen Tag.
9 For which thing Leuy hadde not part, nether possession with hise brithren, for the Lord hym silf is his possessioun, as thi Lord God bihiyte to hym.
Darum sollen die Leviten, kein Teil noch Erbe haben mit ihren Brüdern; denn der HERR ist ihr Erbe, wie der HERR, dein Gott, ihnen geredet hat.
10 Forsothe Y stood in the hil as bifore, fourti daies and fourti niytis, and the Lord herde me also in this tyme, and nolde leese thee.
Ich aber stund auf dem Berge, wie vorhin, vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte; und der HERR erhörete mich auch dasmal und wollte dich nicht verderben.
11 And he seide to me, Go thou, and go bifor this puple, that it entre, and welde the lond which Y swoor to her fadris, that Y schulde yeue to hem.
Er sprach aber zu mir: Mache dich auf und gehe hin, daß du vor dem Volk her ziehest, daß sie einkommen und das Land einnehmen, das ich ihren Vätern geschworen habe, ihnen zu geben.
12 And now, Israel, what axith thi Lord God of thee, no but that thou drede thi Lord, and go in hise weies, and that thou loue hym, and serue thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule;
Nun, Israel, was fordert der HERR, dein Gott, von dir, denn daß du den HERRN, deinen Gott, fürchtest, daß du in allen seinen Wegen wandelst und liebest ihn und dienest dem HERRN, deinem Gott, von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele,
13 and that thou kepe the comaundementis of thi Lord God, and the cerymonyes of hym, whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai, that it be wel to thee.
daß du die Gebote des HERRN haltest und seine Rechte, die ich dir heute gebiete, auf daß dir's wohlgehe?
14 Lo! heuene is of thi Lord God, and heuene of heuene; the erthe and alle thingis that ben ther ynne ben hise;
Siehe, Himmel und aller Himmel Himmel und Erde und alles, was drinnen ist, das ist des HERRN, deines Gottes.
15 and netheles the Lord was glued to thi fadris, and louede hem, and he chees her seed after hem, and you of alle folkis, as it is preued to dai.
Noch hat er allein zu deinen Vätern Lust gehabt, daß er sie liebete, und hat ihren Samen erwählet nach ihnen, euch, über alle Völker, wie es heutigestages stehet.
16 Therfor circumcide ye the prepucie, `ethir vnclennesse, of youre herte, and no more make ye harde youre nol.
So beschneidet nun eures Herzens Vorhaut und seid fürder nicht halsstarrig.
17 For youre Lord God hym silf is God of goddis, and Lord of lordis, `God greet, and miyti, and feerdful, which takith not persoone, nether yiftis.
Denn der HERR, euer Gott, ist ein Gott aller Götter und HERR über alle HERREN, ein großer Gott, mächtig und schrecklich, der keine Person achtet und kein Geschenk nimmt
18 He makith doom to the fadirles, and modirles, and to the widewe; he loueth a pilgrym, and yyueth to hym lyiflode and clothing.
und schaffet Recht den Waisen und Witwen und hat die Fremdlinge lieb, daß er ihnen Speise und Kleider gebe.
19 And therfor `loue ye pilgryms, for also ye weren comelyngis in the lond of Egipt.
Darum sollt ihr auch die Fremdlinge lieben; denn ihr seid auch Fremdlinge gewesen in Ägyptenland.
20 Thou schalt drede thi Lord God, and thou schalt serue hym aloone, and thou schalt cleue to hym, and thou schalt swere in his name.
Den HERRN, deinen Gott, sollst du fürchten, ihm sollst du dienen, ihm sollst du anhangen und bei seinem Namen schwören.
21 He is thi preisyng, and thi God, that made to thee these grete dedis, and ferdful, whiche thin iyen siyen.
Er ist dein Ruhm und dein Gott, der bei dir solche große und schreckliche Dinge getan hat, die deine Augen gesehen haben.
22 In seuenti men thi fadris yeden doun in to Egipt, and lo! now thi Lord God hath multiplied thee as the sterris of heuene.
Deine Väter zogen hinab nach Ägypten mit siebenzig Seelen; aber nun hat dich der HERR, dein Gott, gemehret wie die Sterne am Himmel.
