< Daniel 12 >
1 Forsothe in that tyme Miyhel, the greet prince, schal rise, that stondith for the sones of thi puple. And tyme schal come, what maner tyme was not, fro that tyme fro which folkis bigunnen to be, `vn to that tyme. And in that tyme thi puple schal be saued, ech that is foundun writun in the book of life.
Pea ʻi he kuonga ko ia ʻe tuʻu hake ʻa Maikeli, ʻae ʻEiki lahi, ʻaia ʻoku tokoni ki he fānau ʻa hoʻo kakai: pea ʻe hoko ha kuonga ʻoe mamahi, ʻaia naʻe ʻikai ʻaupito hano tatau talu mo e ʻi ai ha puleʻanga, ʻo aʻu ki he puleʻanga ko ia: pea ʻe fakahaofi hoʻo kakai ʻi he kuonga ko ia, ʻaia kotoa pē ʻe ʻiloʻi kuo tohi ʻi he tohi.
2 And many of hem that slepen in the dust of erthe, schulen awake fulli, summe in to euerlastynge lijf, and othere in to schenschipe, that thei se euere.
Pea ʻē ʻā ʻae tokolahi ʻokinautolu ʻoku mohe ʻi he efu ʻo māmani, ko e niʻihi ki he moʻui taʻengata, mo e niʻihi ki he mā mo e manuki taʻengata.
3 Forsothe thei that ben tauyt, schulen schyne as the schynyng of the firmament, and thei that techen many men to riytfulnesse, schulen schyne as sterris in to euerlastynge euerlastyngnessis.
Pea ko kinautolu ʻoku poto ʻe ngingila ʻo hangē ko e ulo ʻoe langi; pea ko kinautolu ʻoku fakatafokiʻi ʻae tokolahi ki he māʻoniʻoni, ʻo hangē ko e ngaahi fetuʻu, ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata.
4 But thou, Danyel, close the wordis, and aseele the book, til to the tyme ordeyned; ful many men schulen passe, and kunnyng schal be many fold.
Ka ko koe, ʻe Taniela, ke ke tāpuni ʻae ngaahi lea mo fakamaʻu ʻae tohi, ʻo aʻu ki he kuonga ʻoe ngataʻanga: ʻe feʻaluʻaki fano pe ʻae tokolahi, pea ʻe tupu ʻae poto.
5 And Y, Danyel, siy, and lo! as tweyne othere men stood; oon stood on this side, on the brenk of the flood, and another on that side, on the tother part of the flood.
Pea ko au Taniela ne u sio, pea vakai, naʻe tutuʻu mai ʻae toko ua kehe, ko e tokotaha ʻi he kauvai ʻe taha ʻoe vaitafe, pea mo e tokotaha ʻi he kauvai ʻe taha ʻoe vaitafe.
6 And Y seide to the man, that was clothid in lynnun clothis, that stood on the watris of the flood, Hou long schal be the ende of these merueils?
Pea naʻe pehē ʻe he tokotaha ki he tangata naʻe kofuʻaki ʻae tupenu lelei, ʻaia naʻe ʻi he fukahi vai ʻoe vaitafe, “ʻE fēfē hono fuoloa pea hoko ʻae ngataʻanga ʻoe ngaahi meʻa fakaofo ni?”
7 And Y herde the man, that was clothid in lynnun clothis, that stood on the watris of the flood, whanne he hadde reisid his riythond and lefthond to heuene, and hadde sworun by hym that lyueth with outen ende, For in to a tyme, and tymes, and the half of tyme. And whanne the scateryng of the hoond of the hooli puple is fillid, alle these thingis schulen be fillid.
Pea ne u fanongo ki he tangata naʻe kofuʻaki ʻae tupenu lelei, ʻaia naʻe ʻi he fukahi vai ʻoe vaitafe, ʻi heʻene hiki hake hono nima toʻomataʻu, mo hono toʻohema ki he langi, pea ne fuakava ʻiate ia ʻoku moʻui ʻo taʻengata, “ʻE fai ia ʻi ha kuonga mo e ngaahi kuonga, mo e vaeuamālieʻanga; pea ʻi heʻene lavaʻi ke movete ʻae mālohi ʻoe kakai māʻoniʻoni, ʻe toki fakaʻosi ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni kotoa pē.”
8 And Y herde, and vndurstood not; and Y seide, My lord, what schal be aftir these thingis?
Pea ne u fanongo, ka naʻe ʻikai te u ʻilo: pea ne u pehē, “ʻE hoku ʻEiki, ko e hā hono ngataʻanga ʻoe ngaahi meʻa ni?”
9 And he seide, Go thou, Danyel, for the wordis ben closid and aseelid, til to the tyme determyned.
Pea naʻa ne pehē mai, “Ke ke ʻalu koe Taniela: he kuo tāpuni mo fakamaʻu ʻae ngaahi lea, ʻo aʻu ki he kuonga ʻoe ngataʻanga.
10 Many men schulen be chosun, and schulen be maad whijt, and schulen be preued as fier, and wickid men schulen do wickidli, nether alle wickid men schulen vndurstonde; certis tauyt men schulen vndurstonde.
ʻE ʻi ai ʻae tokolahi ʻe fakamaʻa, mo fakahinehina, mo ʻahiʻahiʻi; ka e fai hala ʻae kau angahala: pea ʻe ʻikai ha niʻihi ʻi he kau angahala ʻe ʻilo; ka e ʻilo ʻe he kau poto.
11 And fro the tyme whanne contynuel sacrifice is takun awei, and abhomynacioun is set in to discoumfort, schulen be a thousynde daies two hundrid and nynti.
Pea mei he kuonga ko ia, ʻe ʻave ai ʻae feilaulau ʻaho, mo e fokotuʻu ʻae fakalielia, ʻaia ʻoku fakaʻulia, ʻe ai ʻae ngaahi ʻaho ʻe taha afe ma uangeau mo e hivangofulu.
12 He is blessid, that abideth, and cometh fulli, til a thousynde daies thre hundrid and fyue and thritti.
ʻOku monūʻia ia ʻoku tatali, pea hoko ki he ngaahi ʻaho ʻe taha afe ma tolungeau, mā tolungofulu ma nima.
13 But go thou, Danyel, to the tyme determyned; and thou schalt reste, and stonde in thi part, in the ende of daies.
Ka ke ʻalu pe koe ʻi ho hala kaeʻoua ke hoko ʻae ngataʻanga: he te ke mālōlō pea te ke tuʻu ʻi ho lakanga ʻi he ngataʻanga ʻoe ngaahi ʻaho.”
