1 And whanne thei hadden passid bi Amfipolis and Appollonye, thei camen to Thessolonyk, where was a synagoge of Jewis.
Kwa kupitira Amfipoli na Apoloniya wagenditi mpaka Tesaloniki kweni kuweriti na numba ya Mlungu ya Wayawudi.
2 And bi custom Poul entride to hem, and bi thre sabatis he declaride to hem of scripturis,
Paulu kingiriti nawomberi mnumba ya Mlungu ntambu yaiweriti shitiba shakuwi, kwa mashaka matatu ga kwoyera kalitakuziyana nawomberi kwa Malembu Mananagala.
3 and openyde, and schewide that it bihofte Crist to suffre, and rise ayen fro deth, and that this is Jhesus Crist, whom Y telle to you.
Pakayoweriti na kulagiziya handa imubidi Kristu kutabika na kuzyuka kulawa kwawahowiti kawagambira, “Yesu mweni neni numubwera kwamwenga ndo Kristu.”
4 And summe of hem bileueden, and weren ioyned to Poul and to Silas; and a greet multitude of hethene men worschipide God, and noble wymmen not a fewe.
Wamu wawu wajimiliti wayingira na Paulu na Sila. Viravi, walanga ngulu ya Wagiriki wawamguwiriti Mlungu pamwera na wadala wavuwa wa ntambu ya kunani, wayingiriti naomberi.
5 But the Jewis hadden enuye, and token of the comyn puple summe yuele men, and whanne thei hadden maad a cumpenye, thei moueden the citee. And thei camen to Jasouns hous, and souyten hem to brynge forth among the puple.
Kumbiti Wayawudi wawona weya, wawatola wafizuli kusoku, watenda shipinga na kujega fuju kumjini koseri. Wayingira numba ya Yasoni watumbiriti kumpata amu Paulu na Sila su wawajegi paweru.
6 And whanne thei founden hem not, thei drowen Jasoun and summe britheren to the princis of the citee, and crieden, That these it ben, that mouen the world, and hidir thei camen,
Kumbiti wawapata ndili na hangu wamkwegiti Yasoni pamwera na walongu wamonga mpaka kwa wakulu wa lushi, washowangana, “Wantu awa wawera wankupavuluga pasipanu poseri na vinu wa panu kumjini.
7 whiche Jason resseyuede. And these alle don ayens the maundementis of the emperour, and seien, that Jhesu is anothir king.
Yasoni kawashemera ukaya kwakuwi. Woseri wankutenda shigalambuku sha lagaliru lya Kaisari pawatakula eti, kwana mfalumi yumonga yawamshema Yesu.”
8 And thei moueden the puple, and the princis of the citee, herynge these thingis.
Kwa visoweru avi wawatuliti lyoga wakulu wa kumjini na shipinga sha wantu.
9 And whanne satisfaccioun was takun of Jason, and of othere, thei leten Poul and Silas go.
Yawatenda Yasoni na wayaguwi walaviyi zamana, shakapanu wawaleka wagendi zawu.
10 And anoon bi niyt britheren leten Silas go in to Beroan. And whanne thei camen thidur, thei entriden in to the synagoge of the Jewis.
Pashiru, walongu walii wawahimiziya Paulu na Sila wagendi Bereya. Katepu hera pawayingiriti aku, wagenditi mnumba ya Mlungu ya Wayawudi.
11 But these weren the worthier of hem that ben at Thessolonik, whiche resseyueden the word with al desire, eche dai sekinge scripturis, if these thingis hadden hem so.
Wantu wa aku waweriti wapikinira nentu kuliku wantu walii wa Tesaloniki. Wauwankiti ujumbi ulii kwa lwamata lukulu, wawera wankugalolalola Malembu Mananagala kila lishaka, su kulola handa galii gawatakuliti Paulu na Sila gaweriti nakaka.
12 And manye of hem bileueden and of hethen wymmen onest and men not a fewe.
Wavuwa wawu wajimiriti na viraa wadala wa Shigiriki wa ntambu ya kunani na wapalu viraa.
13 But whanne the Jewis in Tessalonyk hadden knowe, that also at Bero the word of God was prechid of Poul, thei camen thidir, mouynge and disturblynge the multitude.
Kumbiti, Wayawudi wa Tesaloniki pawavimaniti handa Paulu kaweriti kankubwera shisoweru sha Mlungu aku Bereya, wagenditi aku. Wanja kutenda fuju na kusonguziya shipinga sha wantu.
14 And tho anoon britheren delyuerden Poul, that he schulde go to the see; but Sylas and Tymothe dwelten there.
Walongu walii wawapelekiti Paulu kanongola kagendi kumbwani kumbiti Sila na Timotewu wasigaliti Beroya.
15 And thei that ledden forth Poul, ledden hym to Atenes. And whanne thei hadden take maundement of him to Silas and to Tymothe, that ful hiyyngli thei schulden come to hym, thei wenten forth.
Walongu walii wawapelekiti Paulu wagenditi pamwera nayomberi mpaka Aseni. Shakapanu, wawuya pamuhera na malagaliru kulawa kwa Paulu handa Sila na Timotewu wamfati kanongola ntambu yaiwezekana.
16 And while Poul abood hem at Atenys, his spirit was moued in him, for he saiy the citee youun to ydolatrie.
Paulu pakaweriti kankuwahepa Sila na Timotewu aku Aseni, moyu gwakuwi gukalala nentu pakawoniti ntambu lushi alu paluweriti lumema shinyagu sha wamlungu.
17 Therfor he disputide in the synagoge with the Jewis, and with men that worschipiden God, and in the dom place, by alle daies to hem that herden.
Kalitakuziana na Wayawudi na wantu wamonga yawamluwa Mlungu munumba ya Mlungu, na kila lishaka kaweriti na matakuzianu mahali paweru pamwera na woseri walii wawalawiriti.
18 And summe Epeicureis, and Stoisens, and filosofris disputiden with hym. And summe seiden, What wole this sowere of wordis seie? And othere seiden, He semeth to be a tellere of newe fendis; for he telde to hem Jhesu, and the ayenrisyng.
Wamonga wawafatiti falisafa ya Epikuru na Staiku walikakatala na yomberi. Wamonga watakuliti, “Kafira kutakula shishi ayu mtuwa visoweru?” Toziya Paulu kaweriti kankubwera kuusu Yesu na kuusu uzyuka, wamonga watakuliti, “lwonikana handa kankubwera kuusu milungu wa shihenja.”
19 And thei token, and ledden hym to Ariopage, and seide, Moun we wite, what is this newe doctryne, that is seid of thee?
Hangu wamtoliti Paulu, wamjegiti Aleopagu, Watakula, “Tufira kuvimana shitwatira ashi shasyayi shaguweriti gwanguyowelera.
20 For thou bringist ynne summe newe thingis to oure eeris; therfor we wolen wite, what these thingis wolen be.
Vintu vimonga tuvipikaniriti kwa makutu getu viwonikana weri viloja kwatwenga. Tufira kuvimana vitwatira avi nvina mana gaa.”
21 For alle men of Athenys and comlingis herborid yauen tent to noon other thing, but ether to seie, ethir to here, sum newe thing.
Wantu wa Aseni na wenikaya wamonga wa aku waweriti wankutumiya shipindi shawu shoseri kuligambiziyana na kupikinira visoweru vyasyayi.
22 And Poul stood in the myddil of Ariopage, and seide, Men of Athenys, bi alle thingis Y se you as veyn worschipers.
Su, Paulu kagolokiti kuulongolu kumdamu kwa Aleopagu, katakula, “Wenikaya wa Aseni! Mona kuwera mwenga, kwa vyoseri, ndo wantu wa dini nentu.
23 For Y passide, and siy youre maumetis, and foond an auter, in which was writun, To the vnknowun God. Therfor which thing ye vnknowynge worschipen, this thing Y schew to you.
Mana panweriti nangupita aku na aku panola vinyagu vyenu vya kuguwira moniti pahala pa kutambikira pamu palembitwi ‘Kwa Mlungu yakamanika ndiri!’ Su, ayu yamjimira pota kuvimana, ndomweni yanumubwera kwamwenga.
24 God that made the world and alle thingis that ben in it, this, for he is Lord of heuene and of erthe, dwellith not in templis maad with hoond,
Mlungu yakanyawiti pasipanu na vyoseri yaviweraamu, ndo Mtuwa gwa kumpindi na isi, yomberi kalivaga ndiri mnumba nkulu za kuluwa Mlungu yazinyawitwi na wantu.
25 nethir is worschipid bi mannus hoondis, nether hath nede of ony thing, for he yyueth lijf to alle men, and brethinge, and alle thingis;
Ama katendiritwi ndiri kwa mawoku ga wantu kuwera kafira shoseri, toziya mweni ndo yakawapanana woseri ukomu, yakawatenda wantu wapumuli na kuwapanana kila shintu.
26 and made of oon al the kinde of men to enhabite on al the face of the erthe, determynynge tymes ordeyned, and termes of the dwellynge of hem,
Kulawirana na muntu yumu kanyawiti maisi goseri na kugatenda galikali pasipanu poseri. Kaamuiti na kupanga pamberi nakamu ndii na koshi maisi aga megalikali.
27 to seke God, if perauenture thei felen hym, ether fynden, thouy he be not fer fro eche of you.
Katenditi hangu, su maisi aga gapati kumfata, na handa vila kwa kupapasiya papaya, gapati kumfikira. Ata hangu kumbiti, Mlungu kapatali ndiri na kila yumu gwenu.
28 For in hym we lyuen, and mouen, and ben. As also summe of youre poetis seiden, And we ben also the kynde of hym.
Handa yakatakuliti muntu yumu, ‘Mngati mwakuwi yomberi twenga tulikala, twankugenda na twankupumula!’ Ndo gambira washaili wenu wamonga ntambu yawatakuliti, ‘Twenga twawana wakuwi.’
29 Therfor sithen we ben the kynde of God, we schulen not deme, that godli thing is lijk gold, and siluer, ethir stoon, ethir to grauyng of craft and thouyt of man.
Paiwera twenga twawana wa Mlungu, tufiruwa ndiri kumuhola Mlungu gambira zahabu ama mpiya ama ata libuwi lyalisongolitwi na wantu kwa kutulwa mng'ereng'etu.
30 For God dispisith the tymes of this vnkunnyng, and now schewith to men, that alle euery where doon penaunce; for that he hath ordeyned a dai,
Mlungu katenda gambira kawona ndiri vipindi vilii wantu pawaweriti wangalimahala. Kumbiti vinu, kahimiziya wantu woseri kila pahali waleki vidoda vyawatenda.
31 in which he schal deme the world in equite, in a man in which he ordeynede, and yaf feith to alle men, and reiside hym fro deth.
Toziya katula lishaka lyeni hakapatozi pasipanu kwa kutenda galii yagafiriziya Mlungu kwajili ya muntu yumu yakamsyaguliti. Mlungu kawalanguziya woseri shitwatira ashi kwa kumzyukisiya muntu ayu kulawa kwawahowiti!”
32 And whanne thei hadden herd the ayenrysing of deed men, summe scorneden, and summe seiden, We schulen here thee eft of this thing.
Pawampikiniriti Paulu kankutakula kuusu vitwatira vya kuzyuka kwa wahowiti, wamonga wawu waguwiti kwa kusekelera, kumbiti wamonga walongiti, “Tufira kupikinira kayi kuusu shitwatira ashi”
33 So Poul wente out of the myddil of hem.
Hangu, Paulu kawalekiti, kalawiti pamdamu.
34 But summen drowen to hym, and bileueden. Among whiche Dynyse Aropagite was, and a womman, bi name Damaris, and othere men with hem.
Kumbiti wantu wavuwa ndiri wagenditi pamuhera na yomberi, wawera wajimira. Muwamu mwawu waweriti Dionisiwu gwa Aleopagu na mdala yumu yawamshema Damari na wamonga wawu.
