Acts 10
1 A man was in Cesarie, Cornelie bi name, a centurien of the cumpanye of knyytis, that is seid of Italie;
ಕೈಸರೈಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವನಿದ್ದನು. “ಇಟಲಿಯ ದಳ” ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿನ ದಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿ.
2 a religious man, and dredinge the Lord, with al his meyne; doynge many almessis to the puple, and preynge the Lord euere more.
ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಭಕ್ತಿವಂತರೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವನು ಕೊರತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಧಾರಾಳವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಅನುದಿನವೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
3 This say in a visioun opinli, as in the nynthe oure of the dai, an aungel of God entringe in to hym, and seiynge to hym, Cornelie.
ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ಗಂಟೆಯ ಸಮಯ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ದರ್ಶನವಾಯಿತು. ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೇವದೂತನು ಬಂದು, “ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೇ!” ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವ ದೇವದೂತನನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡನು.
4 And he bihelde hym, and was a dred, and seide, Who art thou, Lord? And he seide to hym, Thi preieris and thin almesdedis han stied vp in to mynde, in the siyt of the Lord.
ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಭಯದಿಂದ ದೇವದೂತನನ್ನೇ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ, “ಏನು ಸ್ವಾಮೀ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, “ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳು, ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದಾನಗಳು ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ.
5 And now sende thou men in to Joppe, and clepe oon Symount, that is named Petre.
ಈಗ ನೀನು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಪೇತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುವ ಸೀಮೋನನನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಹೇಳು.
6 This is herborid at a man Symount, curiour, whos hous is bisidis the see. This schal seie to thee, what it bihoueth thee to do.
ಚರ್ಮಕಾರನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆ ಮನೆ ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ದೇವದೂತನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
7 And whanne the aungel that spak to hym, was gon awei, he clepide twei men of his hous, and a knyyt that dredde the Lord, whiche weren at his bidding.
ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದೇವದೂತನು ಅದೃಶ್ಯವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಚಾರಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿವಂತನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಿಪಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಕರೆದು,
8 And whanne he hadde told hem alle these thingis, he sente hem in to Joppe.
ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
9 And on the dai suynge, while thei maden iournei, and neiyeden to the citee, Petre wente vp in to the hiest place of the hous to preie, aboute the sixte our.
ಮಾರನೆಯ ದಿನ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಸಮಯ ಯೊಪ್ಪ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಆಗತಾನೇ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಲು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
10 And whanne he was hungrid, he wolde haue ete. But while thei maden redi, a rauysching of spirit felde on hym;
ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹಸಿವಾಗಿ ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕೆನಿಸಿತು. ಊಟ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನು ಧ್ಯಾನ ಪರವಶನಾದನು.
11 and he say heuene openyd, and a vessel comynge doun, as a greet scheet with foure corneris, to be lette doun fro heuene in to erthe,
ಪರಲೋಕವು ತೆರೆಯಲಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮೂಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜೋಳಿಗೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಒಂದು ವಸ್ತುವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿಯುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
12 in which weren alle foure footid beestis, and crepinge of the erthe, and volatilis of heuene.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತಿಯ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕಾಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಸರೀಸೃಪಗಳು, ಹಾರಾಡುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವು.
13 And a vois was maad to hym, Rise thou, Petre, and sle, and ete.
ಆಗ, “ಪೇತ್ರನೇ, ಎದ್ದೇಳು, ಕೊಂದು ತಿನ್ನು,” ಎಂಬ ವಾಣಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು.
14 And Petre seide, Lord, forbede, for Y neuer ete ony comun thing and vnclene.
ಆದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು, “ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ನನ್ನಿಂದಾಗದು! ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಿಷಿದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಾನೆಂದೂ ತಿಂದವನಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದನು.
15 And eft the secounde tyme the vois was maad to him, That thing that God hath clensid, seye thou not vnclene.
ವಾಣಿಯು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಬಾರಿಗೆ, “ದೇವರು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧವೆನ್ನಬೇಡ,” ಎಂದಿತು.
16 And this thing was don bi thries; and anoon the vessel was resseyued ayen.
ಹೀಗೆ ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ನಡೆದಮೇಲೆ, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಆ ಜೋಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.
17 And while that Petre doutide with ynne hym silf, what the visioun was that he say, lo! the men, that weren sent fro Corneli, souyten the hous of Symount, and stoden at the yate.
ಈ ದರ್ಶನದ ಅರ್ಥವೇನೆಂದು ಪೇತ್ರನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲು, ಇಗೋ, ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಜನರು ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು.
18 And whanne thei hadden clepid, thei axiden if Symount, that is named Petre, hadde there herbore.
ಅವರು ಪೇತ್ರನು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುವ ಸೀಮೋನ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವನೋ ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದರು.
19 And while Petre thouyte on the visioun, the spirit seide to hym, Lo! thre men seken thee.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಆ ದರ್ಶನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲು, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಸೀಮೋನನೇ ಇಗೋ, ಮೂವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
20 Therfor ryse thou, and go doun, and go with hem, and doute thou no thing, for Y sente hem.
ಎದ್ದೇಳು, ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದು ಹೋಗು. ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಲು ಹಿಂಜರಿಯಬೇಡ, ನಾನೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರುವೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
21 And Petre cam doun to the men, and seide, Lo! Y am, whom ye seken; what is the cause, for which ye ben come?
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿರುವವನು ನಾನೇ. ನೀವು ಬಂದಿರುವ ಕಾರಣವೇನು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
22 And thei seiden, Cornelie, the centurien, a iust man, and dredinge God, and hath good witnessyng of alle the folc of Jewis, took aunswere of an hooli aungel, to clepe thee in to his hous, and to here wordis of thee.
ಅವರು, “ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನು, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವನು, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವಂಥದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒಬ್ಬ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೇವದೂತನಿಂದ ಆದೇಶಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
23 Therfor he ledde hem inne, and resseyuede in herbore; and that nyyt thei dwelliden with hym. And in the dai suynge he roos, and wente forth with hem; and sum of the britheren folewiden hym fro Joppe, that thei be witnessis to Petre.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿರಲು ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕರೆದನು. ಮರುದಿನ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಬೆಳೆಸಿದನು. ಯೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಕೆಲವು ಸಹೋದರರು ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟರು.
24 And the other dai he entride in to Cesarie. And Cornelie abood hem, with hise cousyns, and necessarie freendis, that weren clepid togidere.
ಮರುದಿನ ಅವನು ಕೈಸರೈಯವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ತನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
25 And it was don, whanne Petre was come ynne, Corneli cam metynge hym, and felle doun at hise feet, and worschipide him.
ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆರಗಿ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರಮಾಡಿದನು.
26 But Petre reiside hym, and seide, Aryse thou, also Y my silf am a man, as thou.
ಆದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, “ಎದ್ದೇಳು, ನಾನೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
27 And he spak with hym, and wente in, and foonde many that weren come togidere.
ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪೇ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
28 And he seide to hem, Ye witen, how abhomynable it is to a Jewe, to be ioyned ether to come to an alien; but God schewide to me, that no man seye a man comyn, ethir vnclene.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರಿಗೆ: “ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೂದಿ ನಿಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲರಿರೂ ತಿಳಿದೇ ಇದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಷಿದ್ಧವಾದವನು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
29 For which thing Y cam, whanne Y was clepid, with out douting. Therfor Y axe you, for what cause han ye clepid me?
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಯಾವ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣವನ್ನು ಈಗ ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದೋ?” ಎಂದನು.
30 And Cornelie seide, To dai foure daies in to this our, Y was preiynge and fastynge in the nynthe our in myn hous. And lo! a man stood bifore me in a whijt cloth, and seide,
ಆಗ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು, “ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ, ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಮೂರು ಗಂಟೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು. ಆಗ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನನ್ನೆದುರು ಬಂದು ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡನು.
31 Cornelie, thi preier is herd, and thin almesdedis ben in mynde in the siyt of God.
ಅವನು ನನಗೆ, ‘ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
32 Therfor sende thou in to Joppe, and clepe Symount, that is named Petre; this is herborid in the hous of Symount coriour, bisidis the see. This, whanne he schal come, schal speke to thee.
ಪೇತ್ರನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿನ ಸೀಮೋನನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು. ಪೇತ್ರನು ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚರ್ಮಕಾರನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
33 Therfor anoon Y sente to thee, and thou didist wel in comynge to vs. `Now therfor we alle ben present in thi siyt, to here the wordis, what euer ben comaundid to thee of the Lord.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆ. ನೀನು ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೇ ಆಯಿತು. ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸು ನಮಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿರುವರೋ ಅದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಈಗ ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೇವೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
34 And Petre openyde his mouth, and seide, In trewthe Y haue foundun, that God is no acceptor of persoones;
ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ: “ದೇವರು ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಿಯಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಈಗ ನನಗೆ ಮನದಟ್ಟಾಗಿದೆ.
35 but in eche folk he that dredith God, and worchith riytwisnesse, is accept to hym.
ದೇವರು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಮಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
36 God sente a word to the children of Israel, schewinge pees bi Jhesu Crist; this is Lord of alle thingis.
ಸರ್ವಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸುಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಶುಭಸಮಾಚಾರ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
37 Ye witen the word that is maad thorou al Judee, and bigan at Galile, aftir the baptym that Joon prechide, Jhesu of Nazareth;
ಯೋಹಾನನು ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಗಲಿಲಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಯೂದಾಯದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಏನು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತೆಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
38 hou God anoyntide hym with the Hooli Goost, and vertu; which passide forth in doynge wel, and heelynge alle men oppressid of the deuel, for God was with hym.
ದೇವರು ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರಿಂದಲೂ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ದೇವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನೊಡನೆ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಕಡೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಒಳಿತನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಪಿಶಾಚನಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತರಾದವರನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ.
39 And we ben witnessis of alle thingis, whiche he dide in the cuntrei of Jewis, and of Jerusalem; whom thei slowen, hangynge in a tre.
“ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೇಸು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾವು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು. ಮರದ ಕಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ತೂಗುಹಾಕಿ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ನಾಯಕರು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು,
40 And God reiside this in the thridde dai, and yaf hym to be maad knowun,
ಆದರೆ ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಏಳುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
41 not to al puple, but to witnessis bifor ordeyned of God; to vs that eeten and drunken with hym, after that he roos ayen fro deth.
ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಮೊದಲೇ ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ನಮಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಯೇಸು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಊಟ, ಪಾನಮಾಡಿದ ನಮಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
42 And he comaundide to vs to preche to the puple, and to witnesse, that he it is, that is ordeyned of God domesman of the quyk and of deede.
ಜೀವಿಸುವವರಿಗೂ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರಾಗಿ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನೇಮಕವಾದವರು ಯೇಸುವೇ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
43 To this alle prophetis beren witnessing, that alle men that bileuen in hym, schulen resseyue remyssioun of synnes bi his name.
ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನಿಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವನು ಎಂದು ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
44 And yit while that Petre spak these wordis, the Hooli Goost felde on alle that herden the word.
ಪೇತ್ರನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ, ಆ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದರು.
45 And the feithful men of circumcisioun, that camen with Petre, wondriden, that also in to naciouns the grace of the Hooli Goost is sched out.
ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರು ವರವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೇತ್ರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾದ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
46 For thei herden hem spekynge in langagis, and magnyfiynge God.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು, ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು,
47 Thanne Petre answeride, Whether ony man may forbede watir, that these ben not baptisid, that han also resseyued the Hooli Goost as we?
“ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದದಂತೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡುವವರಿದ್ದಾರೋ? ನಾವು ಹೊಂದಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಇವರು ಸಹ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲಾ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
48 And he comaundide hem to be baptisid in the name of the Lord Jhesu Crist. Thanne thei preieden hym, that he schulde dwelle with hem sum daies.
ಆಗ ಅವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅನಂತರ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು.
