2 Samuel 14
1 Forsothe Joab, the sone of Saruye, vndirstood, that the herte of the kyng was turned to Absolon;
Karon si Joab nga anak ni Zeruia nasayod nga nagtinguha ang kasingkasing sa hari nga makita si Absalom.
2 and he sente to Thecua, and took fro thennus a wise womman, and he seide to hir, Feyne thee to morene, and be thou clothid with clooth of duyl, and be thou anoyntid with oile, that thou be as a womman by morenynge `now in ful myche tyme a deed man.
Busa nagpadala ug mensahe si Joab ngadto sa Tikoa nga paadtoon kaniya ang usa ka maalamong babaye. Miingon siya kaniya, “Palihog pagpakaarong-ingnon nga ikaw nagsubo ug magbisti ka ug pangsubo nga bisti. Palihog ayaw dihogi ug lana ang imong kaugalingon, apan magpakasama ka sa usa ka babayeng nagsubo sa dugay nga panahon alang sa namatay.
3 And thou schalt entre to the kyng, and thou schalt speke to hym siche wordis. Sotheli Joab puttide the wordis in hir mouth.
Unya adto sa hari ug sultihi siya mahitungod sa akong ihulagway kanimo.” Busa gisulti ni Joab kaniya ang mga pulong nga isulti niya ngadto sa hari.
4 Therfor whanne the womman of Thecua hadde entrid to the kyng, sche felde bifor hym on the erthe, and worschipide, and seide, A! kyng, kepe me.
Sa dihang ang babaye nga gikan sa Tekoa nakigsulti sa hari, mihapa siya sa yuta ug miingon, “Tabangi ako, hari.”
5 And the kyng seide to hir, What hast thou of cause? And sche answeride, Alas! Y am a womman widewe, for myn hosebonde is deed;
Ang hari miingon kaniya, “Unsa may problema?” Mitubag siya, “Ang tinuod usa ako ka biyuda, ug ang akong bana patay na.
6 and tweyne sones weren of thin handmayde, whiche debatiden ayens hem silf in the feeld, and `noon was that myyte forbede hem, and oon smoot `the tother, and killide hym.
Ako, nga imong sulugoon, adunay duha ka mga anak nga lalaki, ug nag-away sila didto sa uma, ug walay makaulang kanila. Ang usa mibunal sa usa ug namatay kini.
7 And lo! al the kynrede risith ayens thin handmayde, and seith, Yyue thou hym that killide his brothir, that we sle hym for the lijf of his brother whom he killide, and that we do awei the eir; and thei seken to quenche my sparcle whych is lefte, that name dwelle not to myn hosebonde, and relikis, `ethir remenauntis, be not to him on erthe.
Ug karon ang tibuok nga banay nakigbatok sa imong sulugoon, ug miingon sila, 'Itugyan ang lalaki nga nagbunal sa iyang igsoon, aron kapahamtangan ta siyag kamatayon, ingon nga bayad sa kinabuhi sa iyang igsoon nga iyang gipatay.' Aron dugmokon usab nila ang manununod. Palongon usab nila ang nagdilaab nga baga nga nahibilin kanako, wala silay ibilin alang sa akong bana bisan ngalan o kaliwat dinhi sa kalibotan.”
8 And the kyng seide to the womman, Go in to thin hows, and Y schal comaunde for thee.
Busa miingon ang hari sa babaye, “Pauli sa imong balay, ug magsugo ako ug tawo nga mobuhat niini alang kanimo.”
9 And the womman of Thecua seide to the kyng, My lord the kyng, this wickidnesse be on me, and on the hows of my fadir; forsothe the kyng and his trone be innocent.
Ang babaye nga taga-Tekoa mitubag sa hari, “Akong agalong hari, unta ang sala maana kanako ug sa pamilya sa akong amahan. Walay sala ang hari ug ang iyang trono.”
10 And the kyng seide, Brynge thou hym to me, that ayenseith thee, and he schal no more adde that he touche thee.
Mitubag ang hari, “Bisan kinsa kadtong nagsultig bisan unsa kanimo, dad-a siya kanako, ug dili na gayod siya makatandog kanimo.”
11 And sche seide, The kyng haue mynde on his Lord God, and the nexte men of blood to take veniaunce be not multiplied, and `thei schulen not sle my sone. And the kyng seide, The Lord lyueth, for noon of the heeris of thi sone schal falle on the erthe.
Unya miingon siya, “Palihog, hinaot nga hinumduman sa hari si Yahweh nga imong Dios, aron nga ang tigpanimalos sa dugo dili makalaglag ni bisan kinsa, aron nga dili nila laglagon ang akong anak nga lalaki.” Mitubag ang hari, “Ingon nga buhi si Yahweh, walay bisan usa nga buhok sa imong anak nga mahulog sa yuta.”
12 Therfor the womman seide, Thin handmayde speke a word to my lord the kyng. And the kyng seide, Speke thou.
Unya miingon ang babaye, “Palihog tugoti ang imong sulugoon sa pagsulti ug dugang nga pulong sa akong agalong hari.” Miingon siya, “Pagsulti.”
13 And the womman seide, Whi `thouytist thou sich a thing ayens the puple of God? and the kyng spak this word, that he do synne, and brynge not ayen his sone cast out?
Busa miingon ang babaye, “Nganong gibuhat mo man kining butanga batok sa katawhan sa Dios? Kay sa pagsulti niining butanga, ang hari mahimong sama sa tawo nga sad-an, tungod kay wala man niya gipabalik ang iyang anak nga milayas gikan sa iyang balay.
14 Alle we dyen, and as watris that schulen not turne ayen, we sliden in to erthe; and God nyl that a soule perische, but he withdrawith, and thenkith lest he perische outirly, which is cast awey.
Kay mangamatay man kitang tanan, ug mahisama kita sa tubig nga mayabo sa yuta, nga dili na matigom pag-usab. Apan ang Dios dili mobawi sa kinabuhi; hinuon, mangita siyag paagi alang niadtong gipakagiw aron mapasig-uli.
15 Now therfor come thou, that Y speke to my lord the kyng this word, while the puple is present; and thin handmaide seide, Y schal speke to the kyng, if in ony maner the kyng do the word of his handmayde.
Unya karon, tan-awa nga miabot ako sa pag-istorya niining mga butanga sa akong agalong hari, tungod kini kay ang katawhan naghimo kanako nga mahadlok. Busa ang imong sulugoon miingon sa iyang kaugalingon, 'Makigsulti na ako karon sa hari. Tingali ug buhaton sa hari ang hangyo sa iyang sulugoon.
16 And the kyng herde the wordis, that he schulde delyuere his handmayde fro the hondis of alle men, that wolden do awei me, and my sone to gidere, fro the eritage of the Lord.
Tungod kay maminaw kanako ang hari, sa tuyo nga ihatag ang iyang sulugoon gawas sa kamot sa tawo nga molaglag kanako ug sa akong anak, gawas sa panulondon sa Dios.'
17 Therfor thin hand mayde seie, that the word of my lord the kyng be maad as sacrifice, `that is, that the sentence youun of hym be plesaunt to God, as sacrifice plesith God; for as an aungel of the Lord, so is my lord the kyng, that he be not mouyd bi blessyng nether bi cursyng. Wherfor and thi Lord God is with thee.
Unya nag-ampo ang imong sulugoon, 'Yahweh, palihog tugoti nga ang pulong sa akong agalong hari mohatag kanako ug kahupayan, ingon nga manulonda sa Dios, mao usab ang akong agalong hari sa pagsulti ug maayo gikan sa daotan.' Hinaot nga magauban kanimo si Yahweh nga imong Dios.”
18 And the kyng answeride, and seide to the womman, Hide thou not fro me the word which Y axe thee. And the womman seide to hym, Speke thou, my lord the kyng.
Unya mitubag ang hari ug miingon ngadto sa babaye, “Palihog ayaw itago kanako ang tanan nga akong ipangutana kanimo.” Ang babaye mitubag, “Sulti akong agalong hari.”
19 And the kyng seide, Whether the hond of Joab is with thee in alle these thingis? The womman answeride, and seide, Bi the helthe of thi soule, my lord the kyng, nether to the left side nether to the riyt side is ony thing of alle these thingis, whiche my lord the kyng spak. For thi seruaunt Joab hym silf comaundide to me, and he puttide alle these wordis in to the mouth of thin handmaide,
Mitubag ang hari, “Dili ba uban kanimo ang kamot ni Joab niining tanan? Mitubag ang babaye ug miingon, “Ingon nga ikaw buhi, akong agalong hari, walay bisan kinsa nga makaikyas gikan sa tuo o sa walang kamot gikan sa bisan unsa nga gisulti sa akong agalong hari. Ang imong sulugoon nga si Joab ang nagmando kanako nga isulti kining mga butanga. Gibuhat kini sa imong sulugoon nga si Joab aron mausab ang panghitabo.
20 that Y schulde turne the figure of this word; for thi seruaunt Joab comaundide this thing. Forsothe thou, my lord the kyng, art wijs, as an aungel of God hath wisdom, that thou vnderstonde alle thingis on erthe.
Maalamon ang akong agalon, sama sa kaalam sa usa ka manulonda sa Dios, ug nasayod siya sa tanan nga nagakahitabo sa yuta.”
21 And the kyng seide to Joab, Lo! Y am plesid, and Y haue do thi word; therfor go thou, and ayen clepe thou the child Absolon.
Busa miingon ang hari ngadto kang Joab, “Tan-awa karon, buhaton ko kining butanga. Lakaw, ug kuhaa ang batan-ong lalaki nga si Absalom ug ibalik siya dinhi.”
22 And Joab felde on his face to erthe, and worschipide, and blesside the kyng; and Joab seide, Thi seruaunt hath vndirstonde to dai, that Y foond grace in thin iyen, my lord the kyng, for thou hast do the word of thi seruaunt.
Busa mihapa si Joab sa yuta atubangan sa hari aron sa pagtahod ug pagpasalamat kaniya. Miingon si Joab, “Karon nasayod ang imong sulugoon nga nakakaplag ako ug pabor diha sa imong panan-aw, akong agalong hari, niana gibuhat sa hari ang gipangayo sa iyang sulugoon.”
23 Therfor Joab roos, and yede in to Gessur, and brouyte Absolon in to Jerusalem.
Busa mitindog si Joab, miadto sa Gesur, ug gikuha niya si Absalom balik sa Jerusalem.
24 Forsothe the kyng seide, Turne he ayen in to his hows, and se not he my face.
Miingon ang hari, “Pabalika siya sa kaugalingon niyang balay, apan dili siya makakita sa akong panagway.” Busa mibalik si Absalom sa kaugalingon niya nga balay, apan wala niya makita ang panagway sa hari.
25 Therfor Absolon turnede ayen in to his hows, and siy not the face of the kyng. Sotheli no man in al Israel was so fair as Absolon, and ful comeli; fro the step of the foot `til to the top, `no wem was in hym;
Karon sa tibuok nga Israel wala gayoy lain nga gidayeg nga sama sa kaguwapo ni Absalom. Gikan sa iyang lapalapa hangtod sa iyang alimpulo walay gayod siyay tatsa.
26 and in as myche as `he clippide more the heeris, bi so myche thei wexiden more; forsothe he was clippid onys in the yeer, for the heer greuede him. And whanne he clippide the heeris, he weiyide `the heeris of his heed bi twei hundrid siclis with comyn weiyte.
Sa dihang magpatupi siya sa matag kataposan sa tuig, tungod kay bug-at naman kini kaayo kaniya, ginatimbang niya ang iyang buhok; 200 ka shekel ang gimbug-aton niini nga sukdon pinaagi sa kaugalingong sukod sa hari.
27 Forsothe thre sones, and a douyter, Thamar bi name, of `excellent forme weren borun to Absolon.
Adunay tulo ka mga anak nga lalaki ug usa ka anak nga babaye si Absalom, nga ginganlan ug Tamar. Maanyag siya nga babaye.
28 And Absolon dwellide in Jerusalem twei yeer, and he siy not the face of the kyng.
Nagpuyo sa Jerusalem si Absalom sa duha ka tuig, nga wala makakita sa panagway sa hari.
29 Therfor he sente to Joab, that he schulde sende hym to the kyng; which Joab nolde come to hym. And whanne he hadde sent the secounde tyme, and Joab nolde come,
Unya mipadala si Absalom ug mensahe ngadto kang Joab aron ipadala siya ngadto sa hari, apan wala miadto kaniya si Joab. Busa sa ikaduha nga higayon nagpadala na usab si Absalom ug mensahe, apan sa gihapon wala miadto si Joab.
30 Absolon seide to hise seruauntis, Ye knowen the feeld of Joab bisidis my feeld hauynge ripe barli; therfor go ye, and brenne ye it with fier. Therfor the seruauntis of Absolon brenten the corn with fier. And the seruauntis of Joab camen with her clothis to-rent, and seiden, The seruauntis
Busa miingon si Absalom sa iyang mga sulugoon, “Tan-awa, ang uma ni Joab duol sa akoa, ug aduna siyay mga sebada didto. Lakaw ug sunoga kini.” Busa gisunog sa mga sulugoon ang uma ni Joab.
31 of Absolon han brent the part of feeld bi fier. And Joab roos, and cam to Absolon in to his hows, and seide, Whi
Unya miadto si Joab sa balay ni Absalom, ug nangutana kaniya, “Nganong gisunog man sa imong sulugoon ang akong uma?”
32 han thi seruauntis brent my corn bi fier? And Absolon answeride to Joab, Y sente to thee, and bisouyte that thou schuldist come to me, and that Y schulde sende thee to the kyng, that thou schuldist seie to hym, Whi cam Y fro Gessur? It was betere to me to be there; therfor Y biseche, that Y se the face of the kyng, that if he is myndeful of my wickidnesse, sle he me.
Mitubag si Absalom kang Joab, “Tan-awa, nagpadala ako ug mensahe kanimo nga nag-ingon, 'Ali aron ipadala ko ikaw ngadto sa hari aron sa pag-ingon, “Nganong gipakuha man ako gikan sa Gesur? Mas maayo alang kanako nga magpabilin didto. Karon pakit-a ako sa nawong sa hari, ug kung sad-an ako, mahimo niya akong patyon.””
33 Joab entride to the kyng, and telde to hym. And Absolon was clepid, and entryde to the kyng, and worschipide on the face of erthe bifor hym, and the kyng kisside Absolon.
Busa miadto si Joab sa hari ug gisuginlan siya. Sa dihang gipatawag sa hari si Absalom, miduol siya sa hari ug mihapa sa yuta atubangan sa hari, ug mihalok ang hari kang Absalom.
