2 Samuel 12
1 Therfor the Lord sente Nathan to Dauid; and whanne he hadde come to Dauid, he seide to Dauid, Answere thou doom to me; twei men weren in o citee; o man was riche, and the tother was pore.
Unya gipadala ni Yahweh si Natan ngadto kang David. Miadto siya kaniya ug miingon, “Adunay duha ka tawo sa siyudad. Ang usa ka tawo adunahan apan ang usa ka tawo kabos.
2 The riche man hadde ful many scheep, and oxun;
Ang adunahan adunay daghang panon sa mga karnero ug panon sa mga baka,
3 sotheli the pore man hadde vttirli no thing, outakun o litil scheep, which he hadde bouyt, and nurschid, and which `hadde wexid at hym with hise sones, and eet togidere of his breed, and drank of his cuppe, and slepte in his bosum; and it was as a douyter to hym.
apan walay gayoy gipanag-iya ang tawong kabos gawas sa baye nga karnero, kung asa iya kining gipalit, gipakaon, ug gipadako. Midako kini uban kaniya ug uban sa iyang mga anak. Nakigsalo kaniya ang karnero ug miinom sa iyang kaugalingong kupa, ug natulog kini sa iyang mga bukton ug gipakasama niya kini sa iyang anak nga babaye.
4 Forsothe whanne a pilgrym `hadde come to the riche man, he sparide to take of hise scheep and oxun, that he schulde make a feeste to that pilgrym, that cam to hym; and he took the scheep of the pore man, and `made redi metis to the man that cam to hym.
Usa ka adlaw niana adunay miabot nga bisita sa tawong adunahan, apan dili buot ang tawong adunahan nga mokuha ug mananap gikan sa iyang kaugalingong panon sa mga karnero ug panon sa mga baka aron sa pag-andam ug pagkaon sa iyang bisita. Hinuon gikuha niya ang bayeng karnero sa tawong kabos ug giluto niya kini alang sa iyang bisita.”
5 Forsothe Dauid was ful wrooth with indignacioun ayens that man, and seide to Nathan, The Lord lyueth, for the man that dide this is the sone of deeth;
Nanginit sa kasuko si David batok sa tawong adunahan, ug napungot siya kang Natan, “Ingon nga buhi si Yahweh, ang tawo nga nagbuhat niini angay nga mamatay.
6 he schal yelde the scheep in to foure folde, for he dide this word, and sparide not.
Kinahanglan nga bayaran niya ang karnero sa upat ka pilo tungod kay gibuhat niya kini, ug tungod kay wala siyay kaluoy ngadto sa tawong kabos.”
7 Forsothe Nathan seide to Dauid, Thou art thilke man, that hast do this thing. The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Y anoyntide thee `in to kyng on Israel, and Y delyuerede thee fro the hond of Saul,
Unya miingon si Natan kang David, “Ikaw kadtong tawhana! Si Yahweh, Ang Dios sa Israel nag-ingon, 'Gidihogan ko ikaw isip hari sa Israel, ug giluwas ko ikaw gikan sa kamot ni Saul.
8 and Y yaf to thee the hows of thi lord, and the wyues of thi lord in thi bosum, and Y yaf to thee the hows of Israel, and of Juda; and if these thingis ben litil, Y schal adde to thee myche grettere thingis.
Gihatag ko kanimo ang panimalay sa imong agalon, ug ang mga asawa sa imong agalon diha si imong mga bukton. Gihatag ko usab kanimo ang panimalay sa Israel ug sa Juda. Apan kung gamay ra kaayo kana, hatagan ko pa ikaw ug daghan pang mga butang isip dugang.
9 Whi therfor hast thou dispisid the word of the Lord, that thou didist yuels in my siyt? Thou hast smyte by swerd Vrye Ethei, and thou hast take his wijf in to wijf to thee, and thou hast slayn hym with the swerd of the sones of Amon.
Busa nganong gisupak mo man ang mga sugo ni Yahweh, ug nagbuhat ka ug daotan sa iyang panan-aw? Gipatay mo si Urias nga Hitihanon pinaagi sa espada ug gikuha mo ang iyang asawa aron mahimo nimong kaugalingong asawa. Gipatay nimo siya pinaagi sa espada sa mga kasundalohan sa Ammon.
10 Wherfor swerd schal not go awey fro thin hows til in to with outen ende; for thou dispysidist me, and tokist the wijf of Vrye Ethei, that sche schulde be thi wijf.
Busa karon dili mobiya ang espada sa imong panimalay, tungod kay misupak ka kanako ug gikuha nimo ang asawa ni Urias nga Hitihanon ingon nga imong asawa.'
11 Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal reise on thee yuel of thin hows, and Y schal take thi wyues in `thin iyen, and Y schal yyue to thi neiybore, and he schal slepe with thi wyues in the iyen of this sunne, `that is, opynli bifor alle men, as in xv. chapitre.
Miingon si Yahweh, 'Tan-awa, ipahamtang ko ang kadaot batok kanimo gikan sa imong kaugalingong panimalay. Atubangan sa imong kaugalingong mga mata, kuhaon ko ang imong mga asawa ug ihatag ngadto sa imong silingan, ug makigdulog siya sa imong mga asawa sa adlawng dako.
12 For thou hast do priueli; forsothe Y schal do this word in the siyt of al Israel, and in the siyt of this sunne.
Kay nagbuhat ka ug sala sa tago, apan buhaton ko kining tanan sa atubangan sa tibuok Israel, sa adlaw.”
13 And Dauid seide to Nathan, Y haue synned to the Lord. And Nathan seide to Dauid, Also the Lord hath turned awei thi synne; thou schalt not die.
Unya miingon si David ngadto kang Natan, “Nakasala ako batok kang Yahweh.” Mitubag si Natan ngadto kang David, “Gipasaylo usab ni Yahweh ang imong sala. Dili ka pagapatyon.
14 Netheles for thou madist enemyes to blasfeme the name of the Lord, for this word the child which is borun to thee schal die bi deeth.
Hinuon, tungod niining imong gibuhat nga pagsupak kang Yahweh, mamatay gayod ang bata nga gipakatawo gikan kanimo.”
15 And Nathan turnede ayen in to his hows. And the Lord smoot the litil child, whom the wijf of Vrye childide to Dauid, and he dispeiride.
Unya mibiya si Natan ug mipauli sa iyang balay. Gipahamtangan ni Yahweh ang anak ni David nga gihimugso sa asawa ni Urias, ug nasakit kini pag-ayo.
16 And Dauid preiede the Lord for the litil child; and Dauid fastide bi fastyng, and entride asidis half, and lai on the erthe.
Midangop si David kang Yahweh alang sa iyang anak nga lalaki. Nagpuasa si David ug misulod sa iyang lawak ug naghigda sa salog tibuok gabii.
17 Sotheli the eldere men of his hows camen, and constreyneden hym `bi meke preieris, that he schulde rise fro the erthe; and he nolde, nethir he eet mete with hem.
Mitindog tupad kaniya ang mga kadagkoan sa iyang balay, aron patindogon siya gikan sa salog, apan wala siya motindog, ug wala siya mokaon uban kanila.
18 Forsothe it bifelde in the seuenthe dai, that the yong child diede; and the seruauntis of Dauid dredde to telle to hym, that the litil child was deed; for thei seiden, Lo! whanne the litil child lyuede yit, we spaken to hym, and he herde not oure vois; hou myche more, if we seien the child is deed, he schal turment himsilf?
Nahitabo sa ikapito nga adlaw nga namatay ang bata. Nangahadlok ang mga sulugoon ni David nga isulti kaniya nga patay na ang bata, kay nag-ingon sila, “Tan-awa, sa dihang buhi pa ang bata nakigsulti kita kaniya, ug wala siya mamati kanato. Tingali ug unsa ang iyang buhaton sa iyang kaugalingon kung isulti nato kaniya nga patay na ang bata?!”
19 Therfore whanne Dauid hadde herd his seruauntis spekynge priueli, `ether moterynge, he understood that the yong child was deed; `and he seyde to his seruauntis, Whether the child is deed? Whiche answeriden to hym, He is deed.
Apan sa dihang nakita ni David nga naghinunghunganay ang iyang mga sulugoon, nasabtan ni David nga patay na ang bata. Miingon siya sa iyang mga sulugoon, “Patay na ba ang bata?” Mitubag sila, “Patay na ang bata.”
20 Therfor Dauid roos fro the erthe, and was waischid, and anoyntid; and whanne he hadde chaungid cloth, he entride in to the hows of the Lord, and worschipide, and cam in to his hows; and he axide, that thei schulden sette breed to hym, and he eet.
Unya mitindog si David gikan sa salog ug naligo, gidihogan niya ang iyang kaugalingon, ug nag-ilis sa iyang bisti. Miadto siya sa tabernakulo ni Yahweh ug nagsimba didto, ug unya mibalik siya sa iyang kaugalingong palasyo. Sa dihang nangayo siya ug pagkaon, giandaman nila siya, ug mikaon siya.
21 Sothely his seruauntis seiden to hym, What is the word which thou hast do? Thou fastidist, and weptist for the yong child, whanne he lyuede yit; sotheli whanne the child was deed, thou risidist and etist breed?
Unya miingon ang iyang mga sulugoon, “Nganong gibuhat mo man kini? Nagpuasa ka ug naghilak alang sa bata samtang buhi pa siya, apan sa namatay na ang bata, mitindog ka ug mikaon.”
22 And Dauid seide, Y fastide and wepte for the yong child, whanne he lyuyde yit; for Y seide, Who woot, if perauenture the Lord yyue hym to me, and the yong child lyue?
Mitubag si David, “Nagpuasa ako ug mihilak samtang buhi pa ang bata. Miingon ako, 'Kinsa may nakahibalo nga tingali ug kaluy-an ako ni Yahweh, ug buhion niya ang bata?'
23 `Now forsothe for he is deed, whi `fast Y? whether Y schal mow ayen clepe hym more? Y schal `go more to hym, but he schal not turne ayen to me.
Apan karon patay na siya, busa nganong magpuasa paman ako? Mabuhi ko pa ba siya pag-usab? Moadto ako kaniya, apan dili na siya mobalik pa kanako.”
24 And Dauid coumfortid Bersabee, his wijf; and he entride to hir, and slepte with hir. And sche gendride a sone, and Dauid clepide his name Salomon; and the Lord louyde hym.
Gihupay ni David si Batseba nga iyang asawa, ug miadto kaniya si David ug nakigdulog kaniya. Human niini nanganak siya ug batang lalaki, ug ginganlag Solomon ang maong bata. Gihigugma siya ni Yahweh
25 And he sente Salomon in the hond of Nathan, the prophete; and he clepide his name Amyable to the Lord, for the Lord louyde hym.
ug nagpadala siya ug pulong pinaagi kang Natan nga propeta aron nga nganlan siya ug Jedidia, tungod kay gihigugma siya ni Yahweh.
26 Therfor Joab fauyt ayens Rabath, of the sones of Amon, and he fauyt ayens the `kyngis citee.
Karon nakig-away si Joab batok sa Rabba, ang harianong siyudad sa katawhan sa Ammon, ug nailog niya ang ilang dalangpanan.
27 And Joab sente messangeris to Dauid, and seide, Y fauyte ayens Rabath, and the citee of watris schal be takun.
Busa nagpadala ug mga mensahero si Joab ngadto kang David ug miingon, 'Nakig-away ako batok sa Rabba, ug nailog ko ang tinubdan sa tubig sa maong siyudad.
28 Now therfor gadere thou the tother part of the puple, and bisege thou the citee, and take thou it, lest whanne the citee is wastid of me, the victorie be arettid to my name.
Karon tigoma ang nahibiling mga kasundalohan ug pagkampo batok niining siyudara ug kuhaa kini, tungod kay kung ako ang makailog niini nga siyudad, panganlan kini sunod kanako.”
29 Therfor Dauid gaderide al the puple, and he yede forth ayens Rabath; and whanne he hadde fouyte, he took it.
Busa gitigom ni David ang tibuok kasundalohan ug miadto sa Rabba; nakig-away siya sa maong siyudad ug nailog niya kini.
30 And he took the diademe of the kyng of hem fro his heed, bi weiyte a talent of gold, hauynge preciouseste peerlis; and it was put on the heed of Dauid, `that is, aftir that it was weldid and purgid bi fier; but also Dauid bar awey ful myche prey of the citee.
Gikuha ni David ang korona nga anaa sa ulo sa hari—nagtimbang kini ug 34 ka kilo nga bulawan, ug adunay bililhong bato niini. Gibutang ang korona sa ulo ni David. Unya gidala niya ang mga inilog sa maong siyudad nga hilabihan kadaghan.
31 Also he ledde forth the puple therof, and sawide, and `dide aboute hem `yrun instrumentis of turment, and departide with knyues, and `ledde ouer bi the licnesse of tijl stoonus; so he dide to alle the citees of the sones of Amon. And Dauid turnede ayen, and al his oost, in to Jerusalem.
Gidala pagawas ni David ang mga katawhan nga anaa sa maong siyudad ug gipugos sila sa pagtrabaho gamit ang mga gabas, puthaw nga mga piko, ug mga atsa; gipabuhat usab niya sila ug mga tisa. Gipugos ni David sa pagtrabaho ang tanang katawhan sa siyudad sa Ammon. Unya mibalik si David uban ang iyang mga kasundalohan didto sa Jerusalem.
