2 Kings 6
1 Forsothe the sones of prophetis seiden to Elisee, Lo! the place in which we dwellen bifor thee, is streiyt to vs;
Ug ang mga anak nga lalake sa mga manalagna nanag-ingon kang Eliseo: Tan-awa karon, ang dapit nga among gipuy-an una kanimo pig-ut ra kaayo alang kanamo.
2 go we `til to Jordan, and ech man take of the wode `a mater for hym silf, that we bild to vs here a place to dwelle.
Paadtoa kami, nagahangyo kami kanimo, ngadto sa Jordan, ug manguha gikan didto ang tagsatagsa usa ka sagbayan, ug tugoti kami paghimo didto usa ka dapit diin kami makapuyo. Ug siya mitubag: Lakaw kamo.
3 Which Elisee seide, Go ye. And oon of hem seide, Therfor `and thou come with thi seruauntis. He answeride, Y schal come. And he yede with hem.
Ug ang usa miingon: Ikalipay, ako nagahangyo kanimo, ang pagpakig-uban sa imong alagad. Ug siya mitubag: Ako mouban.
4 And whanne thei `hadden come to Jordan, thei hewiden trees.
Busa siya miuban kanila. Ug sa pag-abut nila sa Jordan sila namutol ug kahoy.
5 Sotheli it bifelde, that whanne `o man hadde kit doun mater, the yrun of the axe felde in to the watir; and he criede, and seide, Alas! alas! alas! my lord, and Y hadde take this same thing bi borewing.
Apan sa diha nga ang usa nagputol sa usa ka sagbayan, ang ulo-ulo sa wasay nahulog ngadto sa tubig; ug siya misinggit ug miingon: Ah, agalon ko! Kay hinulaman kadto.
6 Sotheli the man of God seide, Where felde it? And he schewide to hym the place. Therfor he kittide doun a tree, and sente thidur; and the yrun fletide.
Ug ang tawo sa Dios miingon: Diin mahulog? Ug iyang gitudlo kaniya ang dapit. Ug miputol siya ug usa ka bugsok, ug gilabay didto, ug gipalutaw ang puthaw.
7 And he seide, Take thou. Which helde forth the hond, and took it.
Ug siya miingon: Kab-uta kana nganha kanimo. Busa iyang gikawhat ang iyang kamot ug gikuha kadto.
8 Forsothe the kyng of Syrie fauyte ayens Israel; and he took counseil with hise seruauntis, and seide, Sette we buschementis in this place and that.
Karon ang hari sa Siria nakiggubat batok sa Israel; ug nakigsabut siya uban sa iyang mga alagad, nga nagaingon: Niini ug niadtong dapita magapahiluna ako sa akong campo.
9 Therfor the man of God sente to the kyng of Israel, and seide, Be war, lest thou passe to that place, for men of Sirie ben there in buschementis.
Ug ang tawo sa Dios nagpasugo ngadto sa hari sa Israel, ug nagaingon: Pagbantay nga dili ka molabay niadtong usa ka dapit, kay didto atua ang mga Sirianhon manglugsong.
10 Therfor the kyng of Israel sente to the place, which the man of God hadde seid to him, and bifor ocupiede it, and kepte hym silf there not onys, nether twies.
Ug ang hari sa Israel nagpaadto ngadto sa dapit nga gisugilon kaniya sa tawo sa Dios, ug gipasidaan kaniya; ug siya naluwas sa iyang kaugalingon didto, dili sa makausa ni sa makaduha lamang.
11 And the herte of the kyng of Sirie was disturblid for this thing; and whanne hise seruauntis weren clepide togidere, he seide, Whi schewen ye not to me, who is my tretour anentis the kyng of Israel?
Ug ang kasingkasing sa hari sa Siria nalibug sa hilabihan gayud niini nga butanga: ug iyang gitawag ang iyang mga alagad, ug miingon kanila: Dili ba kamo motudlo kanako kong kinsa kanato ang kadapig sa hari sa Israel?
12 And oon of hise seruauntis seide, Nay, my lord the kyng, but Elisee, the prophete, which is in Israel, schewith to the kyng of Israel alle thingis, what euer thingis thou spekist in thi closet.
Ug usa sa iyang mga alagad miingon. Dili, ginoo ko, Oh hari; apan si Eliseo, ang manalagna nga anaa sa Israel, nagsugilon sa hari sa Israel sa mga pulong nga imong gipamulong didto sa imong lawak nga higdaanan.
13 And the kyng seide to hem, `Go ye, and se, where he is, that Y sende, and take hym. And thei telden to him, and seiden, Lo! he dwellith in Dothaym.
Ug siya miingon: Lakaw ug tan-awa kong hain siya, aron akong ipadala ug ipakuha siya. Ug gisuginlan siya, sa pag-ingon: Ania karon, siya atua sa Dothan.
14 And the kyng sente thidur horsis, and charis, and the strengthe of the oost; whiche, whanne thei hadden come bi nyyt, cumpassiden the citee.
Sa ingon niini gipadala didto ang mga kabayo niya, ug mga carro, ug usa ka dakung panon: ug nangadto sila sa gabii, ug gilibutan ang ciudad.
15 Sotheli the mynystre of the man of God roos eerli, and yede out, and he siy an oost in the cumpas of the citee, and horsis, and charis. And he telde to the man of God, and seide, Alas! alas! alas! my lord, what schulen we do?
Ug sa paghibangon ug sayo sa alagad sa tawo sa Dios, ug sa nakagula, ania karon, ang usa ka panon lakip ang mga kabayo ug mga carro nanaglibut sa ciudad. Ug ang iyang alagad miingon kaniya: Ah, agalon ko! unsaon nato paghimo?
16 And he answeride, Nile thou drede; for mo ben with vs than with hem.
Ug siya mitubag: Ayaw kahadlok; kay sila nga ania uban kanato labing daghan kay kanila nga anaa kanila.
17 And whanne Elisee hadde preied, he seide, Lord, opene thou the iyen of this child, that he se. And the Lord openyde the iyen of the child, and he siy. And, lo! the hil ful of horsis, and of charis of fier, in the cumpas of Elisee.
Ug si Eliseo nag-ampo, ug miingon: Jehova, ako nagaampo kanimo, bukha ang iyang mga mata, aron siya makakita. Ug gibuka ni Jehova ang mga mata niadtong batan-ong lalake, ug siya nakakita: ug, ania karon, ang bukid napuno sa mga kabayo ug mga carro nga kalayo nanaglibut kang Eliseo.
18 Sotheli the enemyes camen doun to hym; forsothe Elisee preiede to the Lord, and seide, Y biseche, smyte thou this folc with blyndenesse. And the Lord smoot hem, that thei sien not, bi the word of Elisee.
Ug sa paglugsong nila ngadto kaniya, si Eliseo nag-ampo kang Jehova, nga nag-ingon. Ako nagahangyo kanimo, butaan mo kining mga tawohana. Ug gibutaan sila sumala sa pulong ni Eliseo.
19 Forsothe Elisee seide to hem, This is not the weie, nether this is the citee; sue ye me, and Y schal schewe to you the man, whom ye seken. And he ledde hem into Samarie.
Ug si Eliseo miingon kanila: Kini dili mao ang dalan, ni mao kini ang ciudad: sunda ako, ug dad-on ko kamo ngadto sa tawo nga imong gipangita. Ug iyang gimandoan sila ngadto sa Samaria.
20 And whanne thei hadden entrid into Samarie, Elisee seide, Lord, opene thou the iyen of these men, that thei see. And the Lord openyde her iyen, and thei siyen, that thei weren in the myddis of Samarie.
Ug nahitabo, sa pag-abut nila sa Samaria nga si Eliseo miingon. Jehova, bukha ang mga mata niining mga tawohana, aron sila makakita. Ug gibuka ni Jehova ang ilang mga mata, ug sila nakakita; ug, ania karon, sila didto sa kinataliwad-an sa Samaria.
21 And the kyng of Israel, whanne he hadde seyn hem, seide to Elisee, My fadir, whether Y schal smyte hem?
Ug ang hari sa Israel miingon kang Eliseo, sa pagpakita niya kanila: Amahan ko, hampakon ko ba sila? hampakon ko ba sila?
22 And he seide, Thou schalt not smyte hem, for thou hast not take hem bi thi swerd and bouwe, that thou smyte hem; but sette thou breed and watir bifor hem, that thei ete and drynke, and go to her lord.
Ug siya mitubag: Dili ka maghampak kanila: hampakon mo ba kadtong imong mga dinakup uban sa imong pinuti ug sa imong pana? Pagbutang sa tinapay ug tubig sa atubangan nila aron sila makakaon ug makainum, ug mangadto sa ilang agalon.
23 And `greet makyng redi of metis was set forth to hem; and thei eten, and drunken. And the kyng lefte hem, and thei yeden to her lord; and theues of Sirie camen no more in to the lond of Israel.
Ug giandam niya ang dakung pagkaon alang kanila; ug sa nakakaon sila ug nakainum, iyang gipapauli sila ug nangadto sila sa ilang agalon. Ug ang mga panon sa Siria wala na moadto ngadto sa yuta sa Israel.
24 Forsothe it was don after these thingis, Benadab, king of Sirie, gaderide alle his oost, and stiede, and bisegide Samarie.
Ug nahitabo sa tapus niini, nga si Ben-adad hari sa Siria, nagtigum sa tanan niyang panon, ug mitungas didto, ug gilibutan ang Samaria.
25 And greet hungur was maad in Samarie; and so long it was bisegid, til the heed of an asse were seeld for fourescore platis of siluer, and the fourthe part of a mesure clepid cabus of the crawe of culueris was seeld for fyue platis of siluer.
Ug may usa ka dakung gutom sa Samaria: ug, ania karon, ilang gilibutan kini, hangtud nga ang usa ka ulo sa asno gibaligya sa kawaloan ka siclo nga salapi, ug ang ikaupat ka bahin sa usa ka gantang sa iti sa salampati gibaligya sa lima ka siclo nga salapi.
26 And whanne the kyng of Israel passide bi the wal, sum womman criede to hym, and seide, My lord the kyng, saue thou me.
Ug sa milabay ang hari sa Israel sa ibabaw sa kuta, may usa ka babaye nga misinggit kaniya, nga nagaingon: Tabang, ginoo ko, O hari:
27 Which seide, Nai, the Lord saue thee; wherof may Y saue thee? of cornfloor, ethir of pressour? And the kyng seide to hir, What wolt thou to thee?
Ug siya miingon: Kong si Jehova wala magtabang kanimo, asa man ako ug itabang kanimo? Gikan sa giukan kun sa pug-anan sa vino?
28 And sche answeride, This womman seide to me, Yyue thi sone, that we ete hym to dai, and we schulen ete my sone to morewe.
Ug ang hari miingon kaniya: Unsay nakaingon kanimo? Ug siya mitubag: Kining babayehana miingon kanako: Ihatag ang imong anak nga lalake, aron kan-on ta siya niining adlawa, ug kan-on nato ang akong anak nga lalake ugma.
29 Therfor we setheden my sone, and eten him. And Y seide to hir in the tother day, Yyue thi sone, that we ete hym; and she hidde hir sone.
Busa among gilat-an ang akong anak, ug gikaon siya: ug giingon ko siya sa sunod nga adlaw. Ihatag na ang imong anak, aron siya kan-on nato; ug iyang gitipigan ang iyang anak.
30 And whanne the kyng hadde herd this, he to-rente hise clothis, and passide bi the wal; and al the puple siy the heire, `with which the kyng was clothid at the fleisch with ynne.
Ug nahitabo sa pagkadungog sa hari sa mga pulong sa babaye, nga iyang gigisi ang mga saput (karon siya milabay sa ibabaw sa kuta): ug ang katawohan mingtan-aw, ug, ania karon, siya may saput nga sako sa ilalum ibabaw sa iyang unod.
31 And the kyng seide, God do to me these thingis, and adde these thingis, if the heed of Elise, sone of Saphat, schal stonde on hym to dai.
Unya siya miingon: Ang Dios magahimo sa ingon kanako, ug kapin usab, kong ang ulo ni Eliseo, ang anak ni Saphat, magatindog sa ibabaw kaniya niining adlawa.
32 Sotheli Elisee sat in his hows, and elde men saten with hym; `therfor he biforsente a man, and bifor that thilke messanger cam, Elisee seide to the elde men, Whether ye witen, that the sone of manquellere sente hidur, that myn heed be gird of? Therfor se ye, whanne the messanger cometh, close ye the dore, and `suffre ye not hym to entre; for, lo! the sown of the feet of his lord is bihynde hym.
Apan si Eliseo milingkod sa sulod sa iyang balay, ug ang mga anciano nanaglingkod uban kaniya; ug ang hari nagpadala ug usa ka tawo gikan sa iyang atubangan: apan sa wala pa mahiabut kaniya ang sulogoon, siya miingon sa mga anciano: Tan-awa ninyo kong giunsa niining anak nga lalake sa usa ka mamumuno ang pagpadala aron sa pagkuha sa akong ulo? Tan-awa, kong ang sulogoon mahiabut, takpi ang ganghaan, ug gakuti ang ganghaan sa malig-on nga paggakut batok kaniya: dili ba ang tunob sa mga tiil sa iyang agalon anaa sa luyo niya?
33 And yit `while he spak to hem, the messanger that cam to hym apperide; and the kyng seide, Lo! so greet yuel is of the Lord; sotheli what more schal Y abide of the Lord?
Ug sa diha nga nagasulti pa siya uban kanila, ania karon, ang sulogoon mianha kaniya, ug siya miingon: Ania karon, kining kadautan gikan kang Jehova; nganong magahulat pa ako kang Jehova niining gidugayona?
