2 Kings 24
1 In the daies of hym Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, stiede, and Joachym was maad seruaunt to hym by thre yeeris; and eft Joachym rebellide ayens hym.
In seinen Tagen zog Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel, herauf; und Jojakim wurde sein Knecht drei Jahre; dann wandte er sich und empörte sich gegen ihn.
2 And the Lord sente to hym theuys of Caldeis, and theuys of Sirie, and theuys of Moab, and theuys of the sones of Amon; and he sente hem `in to Juda, that he schulde destrie it, bi the word of the Lord, which he spak bi hise seruauntis prophetis.
Und Jehova sandte wider ihn Scharen der Chaldäer und Scharen der Syrer und Scharen der Moabiter und Scharen der Kinder Ammon; er sandte sie wider Juda, um es zu vernichten, nach dem Worte Jehovas, das er durch seine Knechte, die Propheten, geredet hatte.
3 Forsothe this was doon bi the word of the Lord ayens Juda, that he schulde do awei it bifor him silf, for the synnes of Manasses, and alle thingis whiche he dide,
Fürwahr, nach dem Befehle Jehovas geschah dieses wider Juda, um es vor seinem Angesicht hinwegzutun, wegen der Sünden Manasses, nach allem, was er getan hatte;
4 and for the giltles blood which he sched out; and he fillide Jerusalem with the blood of innocentis; and for this thing the Lord nolde do mercy.
und auch wegen des unschuldigen Blutes, das er vergossen, da er Jerusalem mit unschuldigem Blute erfüllt hatte. Und Jehova wollte nicht vergeben.
5 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joachim, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
Und das Übrige der Geschichte Jojakims und alles, was er getan hat, ist das nicht geschrieben in dem Buche der Chronika der Könige von Juda?
6 And Joachym slept with hise fadris, and Joakyn, his sone, regnyde for him.
Und Jojakim legte sich zu seinen Vätern. Und Jojakin, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.
7 And the kyng of Egipt addide no more to go out of hys lond; for the kyng of Babiloyne hadde take alle thingis that weren the kyngis of Egipt, fro the strond of Egipt `til to the flood Eufrates.
Aber der König von Ägypten zog fortan nicht mehr aus seinem Lande; denn der König von Babel hatte von dem Flusse Ägyptens an bis zum Strome Phrat alles genommen, was dem König von Ägypten gehört hatte.
8 Joakyn was of eiytene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnyde thre monethis in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Nahesta, douytir of Helnathan of Jerusalem.
Achtzehn Jahre war Jojakin alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte drei Monate zu Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Nechuschta, die Tochter Elnathans, von Jerusalem.
9 And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis whiche hise fadir hadde do.
Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovas, nach allem, was sein Vater getan hatte.
10 In that tyme the seruauntis of Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, stieden `in to Jerusalem, and the citee was cumpassid with bisegyngis.
Zu jener Zeit zogen die Knechte Nebukadnezars, des Königs von Babel, nach Jerusalem herauf, und die Stadt kam in Belagerung.
11 And Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, cam to the citee with hise seruauntis, that he schulde fiyte ayens it.
Und Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel, kam zu der Stadt, während seine Knechte sie belagerten.
12 And Joakyn, kyng of Juda, yede out to the king of Babiloyne, he, and his modir, and hise seruauntis, and hise princis, and hise chaumburleyns; and the king of Babiloyne resseyuede him, in the eiythe yeer of `his rewme.
Und Jojakin, der König von Juda, ging zu dem König von Babel hinaus, er und seine Mutter und seine Knechte und seine Obersten und seine Kämmerer; und der König von Babel nahm ihn gefangen im achten Jahre seiner Regierung.
13 And he brouyte forth fro thens alle the tresours of the `hous of the Lord, and the tresours of the kingis hous; and he beet togider alle the goldun vessels, whiche Salomon, king of Israel, hadde maad in the temple of the Lord, bi the `word of the Lord.
Und er brachte von dannen heraus alle Schätze des Hauses Jehovas und die Schätze des Königshauses, und er zerschlug alle goldenen Geräte, die Salomo, der König von Israel, im Tempel Jehovas gemacht hatte: so wie Jehova geredet hatte.
14 And he translatide al Jerusalem, and alle the princis, and alle the strong men of the oost, ten thousynde, in to caitiftee, and ech crafti man, and goldsmyyt; and no thing was left, outakun the pore puplis of the lond.
Und er führte ganz Jerusalem hinweg, und alle Obersten und alle streitbaren Männer, zehntausend Gefangene, und alle Werkleute und Schlosser; nichts blieb übrig als nur das geringe Volk des Landes.
15 Also he translatide Joakyn in to Babiloyne, and the moder of the king, `the wyues of the king, and the chaumburleyns of the king; and he ledde the iugis of the lond in to caitifte fro Jerusalem in to Babiloyne;
Und er führte Jojakin hinweg nach Babel; und die Mutter des Königs und die Weiber des Königs und seine Kämmerer und die Mächtigen des Landes führte er als Gefangene von Jerusalem hinweg nach Babel;
16 and alle stronge men, seuene thousynde; and crafti men and goldsmyythis, a thousynde; alle stronge men and werriouris; and the king of Babiloyne ledde hem prisoners in to Babiloyne.
und alle Kriegsmänner, siebentausend, und die Werkleute und die Schlosser, tausend, alles streitbare Männer, Kriegsleute, die brachte der König von Babel als Gefangene nach Babel.
17 And he ordeynede Mathanye, the brother of his fadir, for hym; and puttide to hym the name Sedechie.
Und der König von Babel machte Mattanja, Jojakins Oheim, zum König an seiner Statt und verwandelte seinen Namen in Zedekia.
18 Sedechie hadde the oon and twentithe yeer of age, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnyde eleuene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Amychal, douyter of Jeremye of Lobna.
Einundzwanzig Jahre war Zedekia alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte elf Jahre zu Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Hamutal, die Tochter Jeremias, von Libna.
19 And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which Joachym hadde do.
Und er tat, was böse war in den Augen Jehovas, nach allem was Jojakim getan hatte.
20 For the Lord was wrooth ayens Jerusalem, and ayens Juda, til he caste hem awey fro his face; and Sedechie yede awei fro the king of Babiloyne.
Denn wegen des Zornes Jehovas geschah dieses wider Jerusalem und wider Juda, bis er sie von seinem Angesicht weggeworfen hatte. Und Zedekia empörte sich gegen den König von Babel.
