2 Kings 17
1 Yn the tweluethe yeer of Achaz, kyng of Juda, Osee, sone of Hela, regnyde in Samarie on Israel nyne yeer.
Im zwölften Jahr des Ahas, des Königs in Juda, ward König über Israel zu Samaria Hosea, der Sohn Elas, neun Jahre;
2 And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, but not as the kyngis of Israel, that weren bifor hym.
und er tat, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, doch nicht wie die Könige Israels, die vor ihm waren.
3 Salmanasar, kyng of Assiriens, stiede ayens this Osee, and Osee was maad seruaunt to hym, and yildide tributis to hym.
Wider denselben zog herauf Salmanasser, der König von Assyrien. Und Hosea ward ihm untertan, daß er ihm Geschenke gab.
4 And whanne the kyng of Assiriens hadde perseyued, that Osee he enforside to be rebelle, and hadde sent messangeris to Sua, kyng of Egipt, that he schulde not yyue tributis to the kyng of Assiriens, as he was wont bi alle yeeris, `the kyng of Assiriens bisegide hym, and sente him boundun in to prisoun.
Da aber der König von Assyrien inneward, daß Hosea einen Bund anrichtete und hatte Boten zu So, dem König in Ägypten, gesandt, griff er ihn und legte ihn ins Gefängnis.
5 And he yede thoruy al the lond, and he stiede to Samarie, and bisegide it bi thre yeer.
Nämlich der König von Assyrien zog über das ganze Land und gen Samaria und belagerte es drei Jahre.
6 Forsothe in the nynthe yeer of Osee, the kyng of Assiriens took Samarie, and translatide Israel in to Assiriens; and he puttide hem in Hela, and in Thabor, bisidis the flood Gozam, in the citee of Medeis.
Und im neunten Jahr Hoseas gewann der König von Assyrien Samaria und führte Israel weg nach Assyrien und setzte sie nach Halah und an den Habor, an das Wasser Gosan und in die Städte der Meder.
7 Forsothe it was don, whanne the sones of Israel hadden synned bifor her Lord God, that ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt, fro the hond of Farao, kyng of Egipt, thei worschipeden alien goddis;
Denn die Kinder Israel sündigten wider den HERRN, ihren Gott, der sie aus Ägyptenland geführt hatte, aus der Hand Pharaos, des Königs von Ägypten, und fürchteten andere Götter
8 and yeden bi the custom of hethene men, whiche the Lord hadde wastid in the siyt of the sones of Israel, and of the kyngis of Israel, for thei hadden do in lijk maner.
und wandelten nach der Heiden Weise, die der HERR vor den Kindern Israel vertrieben hatte, und taten wie die Könige Israels;
9 And the sones of Israel offendiden her Lord God bi wordis not riytful, and thei bildiden to hem silf hiy thingis in alle her citees, fro the tour of keperis `til to a strengthid citee.
und die Kinder Israels schmückten ihre Sachen wider den HERRN, ihren Gott, die doch nicht gut waren, also daß sie sich Höhen bauten in allen Städten, von den Wachttürmen bis zu den festen Städten,
10 And thei maden to hem ymagis, and wodis, in ech hiy hil, and vndur ech tree ful of bowis;
und richteten Säulen auf und Ascherabilder auf allen hohen Hügeln und unter allen grünen Bäumen,
11 and thei brenten there encence on the auteris bi the custom of hethene men, whiche the Lord hadde translatid fro the face of hem. And thei diden werste wordis, and thei wraththiden the Lord;
und räucherten daselbst auf allen Höhen wie die Heiden, die der HERR vor ihnen weggetrieben hatte, und sie trieben böse Stücke, den HERRN zu erzürnen,
12 and worschipiden vnclenesses, of whiche the Lord comaundide to hem, that thei schulden not do this word.
und dienten den Götzen, davon der HERR zu ihnen gesagt hatte: Ihr sollt solches nicht tun;
13 And the Lord witnesside in Israel and in Juda, bi the hond of alle prophetis and seeris, and seide, Turne ye ayen fro youre werste weies, and kepe ye my comaundementis, and ceremonyes, bi al the lawe whiche Y comaundide to youre fadris, and as Y sente to you in the hond of my seruauntis prophetis.
und wenn der HERR bezeugte in Israel und Juda durch alle Propheten und Seher und ließ ihnen sagen: Kehret um von euren bösen Wegen und haltet meine Gebote und Rechte nach allem Gesetz, das ich euren Vätern geboten habe und das ich zu euch gesandt habe durch meine Knechte, die Propheten:
14 Whiche herden not, but maden hard her nol bi the nol of her fadris, that nolden obeie to her Lord God.
so gehorchen sie nicht, sondern härteten ihren Nacken gleich dem Nacken ihrer Väter, die nicht glaubten an den HERRN, ihren Gott;
15 And thei castiden, awei the lawful thingis of hym, and the couenaunt which he couenauntide with her fadris, and the witnessyngis bi whiche he witnesside to hem; and thei sueden vanytees, `that is, idols, and diden veynli; and sueden hethene men, that weren `bi the cumpas of hem; of whiche vanytees the Lord comaundide to hem, that thei schulden not do as also tho hethene men diden.
dazu verachteten sie seine Gebote und seinen Bund, den er mit ihren Vätern gemacht hatte, und seine Zeugnisse, die er unter ihnen tat, und wandelten ihrer Eitelkeit nach und wurden eitel den Heiden nach, die um sie her wohnten, von welchen ihnen der HERR geboten hatte, sie sollten nicht wie sie tun;
16 And thei forsoken alle the comaundementis of her Lord God, and thei maden to hem twei yotun calues, and wodis, and worschipiden al the knyythod of heuene; and thei seruyden Baal, and halewiden to hym her sones,
aber sie verließen alle Gebote des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und machten sich zwei gegossene Kälber und Ascherabild und beteten an alles Heer des Himmels und dienten Baal
17 and her douytris thoruy fier, and thei seruyden to fals dyuynyng, and to dyuynyng bi chiterynge of briddis; and thei yauen hem silf to do yuel bifor the Lord, and thei wraththiden hym.
und ließen ihre Söhne und Töchter durchs Feuer gehen und gingen mit Weissagen und Zaubern um und verkauften sich, zu tun, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, ihn zu erzürnen:
18 And the Lord was wrooth greetli to Israel; and he took awei hem fro his siyt, and noon lefte, no but the lynage of Juda oneli.
da ward der HERR sehr zornig über Israel und tat sie von seinem Angesicht, daß nichts übrigblieb denn der Stamm Juda allein.
19 But nether Juda hym silf kepte the heestis of `his Lord God, netheles he erride, and yede in the errour of Israel, whiche it wrouyte.
(Dazu hielten auch die von Juda nicht die Gebote des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und wandelten in den Sitten, darnach Israel getan hatte.)
20 And the Lord castide awei al the seed of Israel, and turmentide hem, and bitook hem in the hond of rauynouris; til he castide awei hem fro his face,
Darum verwarf der HERR allen Samen Israels und drängte sie und gab sie in die Hände der Räuber, bis er sie verwarf von seinem Angesicht.
21 fro that tyme in which Israel was departid fro the hous of Dauid, and maden to hem a kyng, Jeroboam, sone of Nabath. For Jeroboam departide Israel fro the Lord, and made hem to do a greet synne.
Denn Israel ward gerissen vom Hause Davids; und sie machten zum König Jerobeam, den Sohn Nebats. Derselbe wandte Israel ab vom HERRN und machte, daß sie schwer sündigten.
22 And the sones of Israel yeden in alle the synnes of Jeroboam, whiche he hadde do; and thei departiden not fro tho synnes,
Also wandelten die Kinder Israel in allen Sünden Jerobeams, die er angerichtet hatte, und ließen nicht davon,
23 til the Lord dide awei Israel fro his face, as he spak in the hond of alle hise seruauntis prophetis; and Israel was translatid fro his lond in to Assiriens til in to this dai.
bis der HERR Israel von seinem Angesicht tat, wie er geredet hatte durch alle seine Knechte, die Propheten. Also ward Israel aus seinem Lande weggeführt nach Assyrien bis auf diesen Tag.
24 Forsothe the kyng of Assiriens brouyte puple fro Babiloyne, and fro Cutha, and fro Hailath, and fro Emath, and fro Sepharuaym, and settide hem in the citees of Samarie for the sones of Israel; whiche hadden in possessioun Samarie, and dwelliden in the citees therof.
Der König aber von Assyrien ließ kommen Leute von Babel, von Kutha, von Avva, von Hamath und Sepharvaim und setzte sie in die Städte in Samaria anstatt der Kinder Israel. Und sie nahmen Samaria ein und wohnten in desselben Städten.
25 And whanne thei bigunnen to dwelle there, thei dredden not the Lord; and the Lord sente to hem liouns, that killiden hem.
Und da sie aber anhoben daselbst zu wohnen und den HERRN nicht fürchteten, sandte der HERR Löwen unter sie, die erwürgten sie.
26 And it was teld to the kyng of Assiriens, and was seid, The folkis whiche thou translatidist, and madist to dwelle in the citees of Samarie, kunnen not the lawful thingis of God of the lond; and the Lord sente liouns in to hem, and lo! liouns sleen hem; for thei kunnen not the custom of God of the lond.
Und sie ließen dem König von Assyrien sagen: Die Heiden, die du hast hergebracht und die Städte Samarias damit besetzt, wissen nichts von der Weise Gottes im Lande; darum hat der HERR Löwen unter sie gesandt, und siehe, dieselben töten sie, weil sie nicht wissen um die Weise Gottes im Lande.
27 Sotheli the kyng of Assiriens comaundide, and seide, Lede ye thidur oon of the preestis, whiche ye brouyten prisoneris fro thennus, that he go, and dwelle with hem, and teche hem the lawful thingis of God of the lond.
Der König von Assyrien gebot und sprach: Bringet dahin der Priester einen, die von dort sind weggeführt, und ziehet hin und wohnet daselbst, und er lehre sie die Weise Gottes im Lande.
28 Therfor whanne oon of these preestis had come, that weren led prisoneris fro Samarie, he dwellide in Bethel, and tauyte hem, how thei schulden worschipe the Lord.
Da kam der Priester einer, die von Samaria weggeführt waren, und wohnte zu Beth-El und lehrte sie, wie sie den HERRN fürchten sollten.
29 And ech folk made his god, and thei settiden tho goddis in the hiy templis, whiche the men of Samarie hadden maad, folk and folk in her citees, in whiche thei dwelliden.
Aber ein jegliches Volk machte seinen Gott und taten sie in die Häuser auf den Höhen, die die Samariter gemacht hatten, ein jegliches Volk in ihren Städten, darin sie wohnten.
30 For men of Babiloyne maden Socoth Benoth; forsothe men of Cutha maden Vergel; and men of Emath maden Asyma;
Die von Babel machten Sukkoth-Benoth; die von Chut machten Nergal; die von Hamath machten Asima;
31 forsothe Eueis maden Nabaath and Tharcha; sotheli thei that weren of Sepharuaym brenten her sones in fier to Adramelech and Anamelech, goddis of Sepharuaym.
die von Avva machten Nibehas und Tharthak; die von Sepharvaim verbrannten ihre Söhne dem Adrammelech und Anammelech, den Göttern derer von Sepharvaim.
32 And netheles thei worschipiden the Lord; forsothe of the laste men thei maden preestis of the hiye thingis, and settiden hem in hiye templis.
Und weil sie den HERRN auch fürchteten, machten sie sich Priester auf den Höhen aus allem Volk unter ihnen; die opferten für sie in den Häusern auf den Höhen.
33 And whanne thei worschipiden God, thei serueden also her goddis, bi the custom of hethene men, fro whiche thei weren translatid to Samarie;
Also fürchteten sie den HERRN und dienten auch den Göttern nach eines jeglichen Volkes Weise, von wo sie hergebracht waren.
34 `til in to present dai thei suen the eld custom; thei dredden not the Lord, nethir thei kepen hise cerymonyes, and domes, and lawe, and comaundement, which the Lord comaundide to the sones of Jacob, whom he nemyde Israel;
Und bis auf diesen Tag tun sie nach der alten Weise, daß sie weder den HERRN fürchten noch ihre Rechte und Sitten tun nach dem Gesetz und Gebot, das der HERR geboten hat den Kindern Jakobs, welchem er den Namen Israel gab.
35 and he smoot a couenaunt with hem, and comaundide to hem, and seide, Nyle ye drede alien goddis, and onoure ye not outwardli hem, nethir worschipe ye inwardli hem, and make ye not sacrifice to hem;
Und er machte einen Bund mit ihnen und gebot ihnen und sprach: Fürchtet keine andern Götter und betet sie nicht an und dienet ihnen nicht und opfert ihnen nicht;
36 but youre Lord God, that ledde you out of the lond of Egipt in greet strengthe, and in arm holdun forth, drede ye hym, and worschipe ye hym, and make ye sacrifice to hym.
sondern den HERRN, der euch aus Ägyptenland geführt hat mit großer Kraft und ausgerecktem Arm, den fürchtet, den betet an, und dem opfert;
37 And kepe ye the cerymonyes, and domes, and the lawe, and comaundement, which he wroot to you, that ye do in alle daies; and drede ye not alien goddis.
und die Sitten, Rechte Gesetze und Gebote, die er euch hat aufschreiben lassen, die haltet, daß ihr darnach tut allewege und nicht andere Götter fürchtet;
38 And nyle ye foryete the couenaunt, which he smoot with you, nether worschipe ye alien goddis;
und des Bundes, den er mit euch gemacht hat, vergesset nicht daß ihr nicht andre Götter fürchtet;
39 but drede ye youre Lord God, and he schal delyuere you fro the hond of alle youre enemyes.
sondern fürchtet den HERRN, euren Gott, der wird euch erretten von allen euren Feinden.
40 Forsothe thei herden not, but diden bi her formere custom.
Aber diese gehorchten nicht, sondern taten nach ihrer vorigen Weise.
41 Therfor these hethene men dredden sotheli God; but netheles thei serueden also her idols, for bothe her sones and the sones of sones doen so, til in to present dai, as her fadris diden.
Also fürchteten die Heiden den HERRN und dienten auch ihren Götzen. Also taten auch ihre Kinder und Kindeskinder, wie ihre Väter getan haben, bis auf diesen Tag.
