2 Kings 15
1 In the seuenthe and twentithe yeer of Jeroboam, king of Israel, Azarie, sone of Amasie, kyng of Juda, regnede;
El año 27 de Jeroboam, rey de Israel, comenzó a reinar Azarías, hijo de Amasías, rey de Judá.
2 he was of sixtene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede two and fifti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jecelia of Jerusalem.
Tenía 16 años cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó 52 años en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre fue Jecolía, de Jerusalén.
3 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which Amasie, his fadir, hadde do;
Hizo lo recto ante Yavé, conforme a todo lo que hizo su padre Amasías.
4 netheles he distriede not hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente encense in hiye thingis.
Sin embargo, los lugares altos no fueron quitados, pues el pueblo aún sacrificaba y quemaba incienso en los lugares altos.
5 Forsothe the Lord smoot the kyng, and he was leprouse til in to the day of his deeth; and he dwellide in an hous freli bi hym silf. Sotheli Joathas, sone of the kyng, gouernde the palis, and demyde the puple of the lond.
Yavé hirió al rey, y fue leproso hasta el día de su muerte, y vivió en una casa aislada. Jotam, hijo del rey, administraba la casa del rey y gobernaba al pueblo de la tierra.
6 Forsothe the residue of the wordis of Azarie, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
Todo lo que hizo Azarías, ¿no está escrito en el rollo de las Crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
7 And Azarie slepte with hise fadris; and thei birieden hym with hise eldre men in the citee of Dauid; and Joathas, his sone, regnede for hym.
Azarías descansó con sus antepasados, y lo sepultaron con sus antepasados en la Ciudad de David. Reinó en su lugar su hijo Jotam.
8 In the eiyte and threttithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Zacharie, sone of Jeroboam, regnede on Israel in Samarie sixe monethis.
El año 38 de Azarías, rey de Judá, comenzó a reinar Zacarías, hijo de Jeroboam, y reinó seis meses sobre Israel en Samaria.
9 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord, as his fadris diden; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Hizo lo malo ante Yavé, como hicieron sus antepasados. No se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, con los cuales estimuló a pecar a Israel.
10 Forsothe Sellum, the sone of Jabes, conspiride ayens hym in Samarie; and Sellum smoot hym opynli, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Salum, hijo de Jabes, conspiró contra él. Lo hirió delante del pueblo y lo mató, y reinó en su lugar.
11 Sotheli the residue of the wordis of Zacharie, whethir these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
Los demás hechos de Zacarías ciertamente están escritos en el rollo de las Crónicas de los reyes de Israel.
12 Thilke is the word of the Lord, which he spak to Hieu, and seide, `Thi sones `til to the fourthe generacioun schulen sitte `of thee on the trone of Israel; and it was doon so.
Ésta fue la Palabra que Yavé habló a Jehú: Tus hijos se sentarán en el trono de Israel hasta la cuarta generación. Y sucedió así.
13 Sellum, sone of Jabes, regnede in the nynthe and thritty yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda; sotheli he regnyde o monethe in Samarie.
Salum, hijo de Jabes, comenzó a reinar el año 39 de Uzías, rey de Judá, y reinó un mes en Samaria.
14 And Manaheu, the sone of Gaddi, styede fro Thersa, and cam in to Samarie; and he smoot Sellum, sone of Jabes, in Samarie, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Manahem, hijo de Gadi, subió de Tirsa a Samaria, hirió a Salum, hijo de Jabes, lo mató y reinó en su lugar.
15 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Sellum, and his conspirasie, bi which he settide tresouns, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel.
Los demás hechos de Salum, y la conspiración que tramó, ciertamente están escritos en el rollo de las Crónicas de los reyes de Israel.
16 Thanne Manaheu smoot Capham, and alle men that weren thereynne, and the termes therof fro Thersa, for thei nolden opyn to hym; and he killide alle wymmen therof with child, and karf hem.
En aquel tiempo Manahem atacó a Tirsa, a todos los que estaban en ella y en sus alrededores, porque ellos no le abrieron [las puertas]. Por eso la atacó y abrió el vientre a todas las mujeres embarazadas.
17 In the nynthe and thrittithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Manaheu, sone of Gaddi, regnede on Israel ten yeer in Samarie.
El año 39 de Azarías, rey de Judá, comenzó a reinar Manahem, hijo de Gadi, sobre Israel, y reinó diez años en Samaria.
18 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Hizo lo malo ante Yavé, y en todo su tiempo no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, con los cuales estimuló a pecar a Israel.
19 In alle the daies of hym Phul, the kyng of Assiries, cam in to Thersa. And Manaheu yaf to Phul a thousynde talentis of siluer, that he schulde be to hym in to help, and schulde make stidefast his rewme;
Pul, rey de Asiria, llegó contra la tierra, y Manahem dio a Pul 33 toneladas de plata para que la mano de él estuviera a favor de Manahem, a fin de fortalecer el reino bajo su dominio.
20 and Manaheu settide taliage of siluer on Israel to alle myyti men and riche, that he schulde yyue to the kyng of Assiries; he settide fifti siclis of siluer bi alle men; and the king of Assiries turnede ayen, and dwellide not in Thersa.
Manahem impuso este dinero a Israel por medio de un tributo a todos los poderosos y opulentos: 550 gramos de plata por cada uno, para entregarlos al rey de Asiria. Con eso el rey de Asiria se retiró, y no permaneció en la tierra.
21 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Manaheu, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not wrytun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
Todo lo que hizo Manahem, ¿no está escrito en el rollo de las Crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
22 And Manaheu slepte with hise fadris; and Phaceia, his sone, regnyde for hym.
Manahem reposó con sus antepasados, y su hijo Pecaía reinó en su lugar.
23 In the fiftithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Phaceia, sone of Manaheu, regnede on Israel in Samarie twei yeer.
El año 50 de Azarías, rey de Judá, comenzó a reinar Pecaía, hijo de Manahem, en Israel, y reinó en Samaria dos años.
24 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Hizo lo malo ante Yavé. No se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, con los cuales estimuló a pecar a Israel.
25 Forsothe Phacee, sone of Romelie, duyk of his oost, conspiride ayens hym, and smoot hym in Samarie, in the tour of the kyngis hous, bisidis Argob, and bisidis Arib; `and he smoot hym with fifti men of the sones of Galaditis; and Phacee killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Conspiró contra él su comandante Peca, hijo de Remalías, junto con Argob, Arie y 50 hombres de los hijos de los galaaditas. Lo mató en el palacio de la casa real en Samaria, y reinó en su lugar.
26 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Phacee, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
Todo lo que hizo Pecaía, ciertamente está escrito en el rollo de las Crónicas de los reyes de Israel.
27 In the two and fiftithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Phasee, sone of Romelie, regnyde in Samarie twenti yeer.
El año 52 de Azarías, rey de Judá, Peca, hijo de Remalías, comenzó a reinar en Israel y reinó 20 años en Samaria.
28 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; and he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Hizo lo malo ante Yavé, pues no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, con los cuales estimuló a pecar a Israel.
29 In the daies of Phacee, kyng of Israel, Teglat Phalasar, kyng of Assur, cam, and took Aion, and Aibel, the hows of Maacha, and Janoe, and Cedes, and Asor, and Galaad, and Galilee, and al the lond of Neptalym; and translatide hem in to Assiriens.
En el tiempo de Peca, rey de Israel, llegó Tiglat-pileser, rey de Asiria. Tomó Ijón, Abel-bet-maaca, Janoa, Cedes, Hazor, Galaad, Galilea y toda la tierra de Neftalí, y los llevó cautivos a Asiria.
30 Forsothe Osee, sone of Hela, conspiride, and settide tresouns ayens Phasee, sone of Romelie, and smoot hym, and killide hym; and he regnyde for hym, in the twentithe yeer of Joathan, sone of Ozie.
El año 20 de Jotam, hijo de Azarías, [rey de Judá], Oseas, hijo de Ela, tramó una conspiración contra Peca, hijo de Remalías. Lo hirió, lo mató, y reinó en su lugar.
31 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Phacee, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
Todo lo que hizo Peca ciertamente está escrito en el rollo de las Crónicas de los reyes de Israel.
32 In the secounde yeer of Phacee, sone of Romelie, kyng of Israel, Joathan, sone of Ozie, kyng of Juda, regnyde;
El segundo año de Peca, hijo de Remalías, rey de Israel, comenzó a reinar Jotam, hijo de Uzías, rey de Judá.
33 he was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede sixtene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jerusa, the douyter of Sadoch.
Cuando comenzó a reinar tenía 25 años, y reinó 16 años en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre fue Jerusa, hija de Sadoc.
34 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord; he wrouyte bi alle thingis, whiche his fadir Ozie hadde do;
Hizo lo recto ante Yavé, conforme a todo lo que hizo su padre Uzías.
35 netheles he dide not awey hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente incense in hiy thingis; he bildide the hiyeste yate of the hows of the Lord.
Sin embargo, no se quitaron los lugares altos, porque el pueblo aún sacrificaba y quemaba incienso en los lugares altos. Él construyó la puerta más alta de la Casa de Yavé.
36 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joathan, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
Todo lo que hizo Jotam, ¿no está escrito en el rollo de las Crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
37 In tho daies the Lord bigan to sende in to Juda Rasyn, the kyng of Sirie, and Phacee, the sone of Romelie.
En aquel tiempo Yavé comenzó a enviar a Rezín, rey de Siria, y a Peca, hijo de Remalías, contra Judá.
38 And Joathan slepte with hise fadris, and was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid, his fadir; and Achaz, his sone, regnyde for hym.
Azarías descansó Jotam con sus antepasados, y fue sepultado en la ciudad de David. Su hijo Acaz reinó en su lugar.
