2 Kings 15
1 In the seuenthe and twentithe yeer of Jeroboam, king of Israel, Azarie, sone of Amasie, kyng of Juda, regnede;
Jeroboámnak, az Izráel királyának huszonhetedik esztendejében kezdett uralkodni Azária, Amásiának, a Júda királyának fia.
2 he was of sixtene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede two and fifti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jecelia of Jerusalem.
Tizenhat esztendős volt, mikor uralkodni kezdett, és ötvenkét esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben, és az ő anyjának neve Jekólia, Jeruzsálemből való.
3 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which Amasie, his fadir, hadde do;
És kedves dolgot cselekedék az Úr szemei előtt mind a szerint, a mint az ő atyja, Amásia cselekedett;
4 netheles he distriede not hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente encense in hiye thingis.
Csakhogy a magaslatok nem rontattak le, a nép még ott áldozott és tömjénezett a magaslatokon.
5 Forsothe the Lord smoot the kyng, and he was leprouse til in to the day of his deeth; and he dwellide in an hous freli bi hym silf. Sotheli Joathas, sone of the kyng, gouernde the palis, and demyde the puple of the lond.
És megverte az Úr a királyt, mert bélpoklos lett egész halála napjáig, és külön házban lakott, és Jótám, a király fia kormányozta a házat, és ő szolgáltatott törvényt a föld népének.
6 Forsothe the residue of the wordis of Azarie, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
Azáriának egyéb dolgai pedig és minden cselekedetei, vajjon nincsenek-é megírva a Júda királyainak krónika-könyvében?
7 And Azarie slepte with hise fadris; and thei birieden hym with hise eldre men in the citee of Dauid; and Joathas, his sone, regnede for hym.
És elaluvék Azária az ő atyáival, és eltemeték őt az ő atyáival a Dávid városában, és az ő fia, Jótám, uralkodék ő helyette.
8 In the eiyte and threttithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Zacharie, sone of Jeroboam, regnede on Israel in Samarie sixe monethis.
Azáriának, a Júda királyának harmincznyolczadik esztendejében kezdett uralkodni Zakariás, a Jeroboám fia Izráelen, Samariában hat hónapig.
9 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord, as his fadris diden; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
És gonoszul cselekedék az Úr szemei előtt, miképen az ő atyái cselekedtek volt. Nem hagyta el Jeroboámnak, a Nébát fiának bűneit, a ki vétekbe ejtette az Izráelt.
10 Forsothe Sellum, the sone of Jabes, conspiride ayens hym in Samarie; and Sellum smoot hym opynli, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
És összeesküdött ellene Sallum, a Jábes fia, és megölte őt a nép szeme láttára, és megölvén őt, ő uralkodott helyette.
11 Sotheli the residue of the wordis of Zacharie, whethir these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
Zakariásnak egyéb dolgai pedig, ímé meg vannak írva az Izráel királyainak krónika-könyvében.
12 Thilke is the word of the Lord, which he spak to Hieu, and seide, `Thi sones `til to the fourthe generacioun schulen sitte `of thee on the trone of Israel; and it was doon so.
Ez az Úr beszéde, a mit Jéhu felől szólott, mondván: A te fiaid negyedízig ülnek Izráel trónján. És így történt.
13 Sellum, sone of Jabes, regnede in the nynthe and thritty yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda; sotheli he regnyde o monethe in Samarie.
Sallum, a Jábes fia lett a király Uzziának, Júda királyának harminczkilenczedik esztendejében, de csak egy hónapig uralkodott Samariában;
14 And Manaheu, the sone of Gaddi, styede fro Thersa, and cam in to Samarie; and he smoot Sellum, sone of Jabes, in Samarie, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Mert Menáhem, a Thirsabeli Gádi fia feljött, és Samariába ment, és megölte Sallumot, a Jábes fiát Samariában, és megölvén őt, ő uralkodott helyette.
15 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Sellum, and his conspirasie, bi which he settide tresouns, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel.
Sallumnak egyéb dolgai pedig és összeesküvése, a melyet csinált, ímé meg vannak írva az Izráel királyainak krónika-könyvében.
16 Thanne Manaheu smoot Capham, and alle men that weren thereynne, and the termes therof fro Thersa, for thei nolden opyn to hym; and he killide alle wymmen therof with child, and karf hem.
Akkor verte le Menáhem Tifsáhot és mindazokat, a kik benne voltak, és egész határát Thirsától fogva, mert nem bocsátották be, azért veré le, és még a terhes asszonyokat is mind felhasogatá benne.
17 In the nynthe and thrittithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Manaheu, sone of Gaddi, regnede on Israel ten yeer in Samarie.
Azáriának, Júda királyának harminczkilenczedik esztendejétől fogva uralkodott Menáhem, a Gádi fia Izráelen tíz esztendeig Samariában.
18 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
És gonoszul cselekedék az Úr szemei előtt; nem hagyta el Jeroboámnak, a Nébát fiának bűneit teljes életében, a ki vétekbe ejtette az Izráelt.
19 In alle the daies of hym Phul, the kyng of Assiries, cam in to Thersa. And Manaheu yaf to Phul a thousynde talentis of siluer, that he schulde be to hym in to help, and schulde make stidefast his rewme;
És rátört Púl, Assiria királya az országra, és Menáhem Púlnak ezer tálentom ezüstöt adott azért, hogy legyen néki segítséggel az ő birodalmának megerősítésében.
20 and Manaheu settide taliage of siluer on Israel to alle myyti men and riche, that he schulde yyue to the kyng of Assiries; he settide fifti siclis of siluer bi alle men; and the king of Assiries turnede ayen, and dwellide not in Thersa.
És Menáhem adót vetett Izráelben a gazdagokra, ötven ezüst siklust minden egyes emberre, hogy azt Assiria királyának adja, és visszatért Assiria királya, és nem maradt ott az országban.

22 And Manaheu slepte with hise fadris; and Phaceia, his sone, regnyde for hym.
És elaluvék Menáhem az ő atyáival, és uralkodék az ő fia, Pekája ő helyette.
23 In the fiftithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Phaceia, sone of Manaheu, regnede on Israel in Samarie twei yeer.
És Azáriának, Júda királyának ötvenedik esztendejében kezdett uralkodni Pekája, a Menáhem fia, Izráelen Samariában két esztendeig.
24 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
És gonoszul cselekedék az Úr szemei előtt, nem távozék el Jeroboámnak, a Nébát fiának bűneitől, a ki vétekbe ejtette az Izráelt.
25 Forsothe Phacee, sone of Romelie, duyk of his oost, conspiride ayens hym, and smoot hym in Samarie, in the tour of the kyngis hous, bisidis Argob, and bisidis Arib; `and he smoot hym with fifti men of the sones of Galaditis; and Phacee killide hym, and regnede for hym.
És pártot ütött ellene Péka, a Remália fia, az ő hadnagya, és megölte őt Samariában, a király házának palotájában, Argóbbal és Arjéval és ötven emberrel a Gileádbeliek fiai közül, és megölte őt, és ő lett helyébe a király.

Azáriának, Júda királyának ötvenkettedik esztendejében kezdett uralkodni Péka, a Remália fia, Izráelen Samariában húsz esztendeig.
28 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; and he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
És gonoszul cselekedék az Úr szemei előtt; nem távozék el Jeroboámnak, a Nébát fiának bűneitől, a ki vétekbe ejtette az Izráelt.
29 In the daies of Phacee, kyng of Israel, Teglat Phalasar, kyng of Assur, cam, and took Aion, and Aibel, the hows of Maacha, and Janoe, and Cedes, and Asor, and Galaad, and Galilee, and al the lond of Neptalym; and translatide hem in to Assiriens.
Pékának, az Izráel királyának idejében jött el Tiglát-Piléser, Assiria királya, és foglalta el Hijont, Abélt, Beth-Maakát, Jánoát, Kédest, Hásort, Gileádot, Galileát és a Nafthali egész földét, és hurczolta el őket, Assiriába.
30 Forsothe Osee, sone of Hela, conspiride, and settide tresouns ayens Phasee, sone of Romelie, and smoot hym, and killide hym; and he regnyde for hym, in the twentithe yeer of Joathan, sone of Ozie.
De Hósea, az Ela fia, pártot ütött Péka, a Remália fia ellen, és levágta és megölte őt, és ő lett helyébe a király Jótámnak, az Uzzia fiának huszadik esztendejében.

32 In the secounde yeer of Phacee, sone of Romelie, kyng of Israel, Joathan, sone of Ozie, kyng of Juda, regnyde;
Pékának, a Remália fiának, az Izráel királyának második esztendejében kezdett uralkodni Jótám, Uzziának, a Júda királyának fia.
33 he was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede sixtene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jerusa, the douyter of Sadoch.
Huszonöt esztendős volt, a mikor uralkodni kezdett, és tizenhat esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben. Az ő anyjának Jérusa volt a neve, a Sádók leánya.
34 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord; he wrouyte bi alle thingis, whiche his fadir Ozie hadde do;
És kedves dolgot cselekedék az Úr szemei előtt, mind a szerint, a mint az ő atyja, Uzzia cselekedék;
35 netheles he dide not awey hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente incense in hiy thingis; he bildide the hiyeste yate of the hows of the Lord.
Csak a magaslatokat nem rontották le; még ott áldozott és tömjénezett a nép a magaslatokon. Ő építette meg az Úr házának felső kapuját.
36 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joathan, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
Jótámnak egyéb dolgai pedig és minden cselekedetei, vajjon nincsenek-é megírva a Júda királyainak krónika-könyvében?
37 In tho daies the Lord bigan to sende in to Juda Rasyn, the kyng of Sirie, and Phacee, the sone of Romelie.
Ebben az időben kezdte az Úr ráküldeni Júdára Réczint, Siria királyát, és Pékát, a Remália fiát.
38 And Joathan slepte with hise fadris, and was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid, his fadir; and Achaz, his sone, regnyde for hym.
És elaluvék Jótám az ő atyáival, és eltemetteték az ő atyáival, Dávidnak, az ő atyjának városában, és Akház, az ő fia, uralkodék ő helyette.
