2 Kings 15
1 In the seuenthe and twentithe yeer of Jeroboam, king of Israel, Azarie, sone of Amasie, kyng of Juda, regnede;
૧ઇઝરાયલના રાજા યરોબામના શાસનકાળના સત્તાવીસમા વર્ષે યહૂદિયાના રાજા અમાસ્યાનો દીકરો અઝાર્યા રાજ કરવા લાગ્યો.
2 he was of sixtene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede two and fifti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jecelia of Jerusalem.
૨અઝાર્યા રાજ કરવા લાગ્યો ત્યારે તે સોળ વર્ષનો હતો. તેણે બાવન વર્ષ સુધી યરુશાલેમમાં રાજ કર્યું, તેની માતાનું નામ યકોલ્યા હતું, તે યરુશાલેમની હતી.
3 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which Amasie, his fadir, hadde do;
૩તેણે પોતાના પિતા અમાસ્યાએ જેમ કર્યું હતું, તેમ યહોવાહની દ્રષ્ટિમાં જે સારું હતું તે કર્યું.
4 netheles he distriede not hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente encense in hiye thingis.
૪તોપણ ઉચ્ચસ્થાનો દૂર કરવામાં આવ્યાં નહિ. લોકો હજી ત્યાં યજ્ઞો કરતા અને ધૂપ બાળતા હતા.
5 Forsothe the Lord smoot the kyng, and he was leprouse til in to the day of his deeth; and he dwellide in an hous freli bi hym silf. Sotheli Joathas, sone of the kyng, gouernde the palis, and demyde the puple of the lond.
૫યહોવાહ રાજા પર દુઃખ લાવ્યા, તે તેના મરણના દિવસ સુધી કુષ્ઠ રોગી રહ્યો અને અલગ ઘરમાં રહ્યો. રાજાનો દીકરો યોથામ, ઘરનો ઉપરી થઈને દેશના લોકો પર શાસન કરતો હતો.
6 Forsothe the residue of the wordis of Azarie, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
૬હવે અઝાર્યાનાં બાકીનાં કાર્યો, તેણે જે કર્યું તે સર્વ, યહૂદિયાના રાજાઓના કાળવૃત્તાંતના પુસ્તકમાં લખેલાં નથી શું?
7 And Azarie slepte with hise fadris; and thei birieden hym with hise eldre men in the citee of Dauid; and Joathas, his sone, regnede for hym.
૭અઝાર્યા પોતાના પિતૃઓની સાથે ઊંઘી ગયો. તેઓએ તેને તેના પિતૃઓની સાથે દાઉદનગરમાં દફ્નાવ્યો. તેની જગ્યાએ તેનો દીકરો યોથામ રાજા બન્યો.
8 In the eiyte and threttithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Zacharie, sone of Jeroboam, regnede on Israel in Samarie sixe monethis.
૮યહૂદિયાના રાજા અઝાર્યાના આડત્રીસમા વર્ષે યરોબામના દીકરા ઝખાર્યાએ સમરુનમાં ઇઝરાયલ પર છ મહિના સુધી રાજ કર્યું.
9 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord, as his fadris diden; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
૯તેણે તેના પિતૃઓની જેમ યહોવાહની દ્રષ્ટિમાં ખોટું હતું તે કર્યું. તેણે નબાટના દીકરા યરોબામનાં પાપ કે જે વડે તેણે ઇઝરાયલ પાસે દુરાચાર કરાવ્યો હતો તે કરવાનું બંધ રાખ્યું નહિ.
10 Forsothe Sellum, the sone of Jabes, conspiride ayens hym in Samarie; and Sellum smoot hym opynli, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
૧૦યાબેશના દીકરા શાલ્લૂમે તેની વિરુદ્ધ ષડયંત્ર રચ્યું, લોકોની આગળ તેના પર હુમલો કરીને તેને મારી નાખ્યો. પછી તેની જગ્યાએ તે રાજા બન્યો.
11 Sotheli the residue of the wordis of Zacharie, whethir these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
૧૧ઝખાર્યાનાં બાકીના કાર્યો ઇઝરાયલના રાજાઓના કાળવૃત્તાંતના પુસ્તકમાં લખેલાં નથી શું?
12 Thilke is the word of the Lord, which he spak to Hieu, and seide, `Thi sones `til to the fourthe generacioun schulen sitte `of thee on the trone of Israel; and it was doon so.
૧૨આ યહોવાહનું વચન જે તેમણે યેહૂને કહ્યું હતું, “ચાર પેઢી સુધી તારા વંશજો ઇઝરાયલના સિંહાસન પર બેસશે.” અને તે પ્રમાણે થયું.
13 Sellum, sone of Jabes, regnede in the nynthe and thritty yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda; sotheli he regnyde o monethe in Samarie.
૧૩યાબેશનો દીકરો શાલ્લૂમ યહૂદિયાના રાજા ઉઝિયા ઓગણચાલીસમા વર્ષે રાજ કરવા લાગ્યો, તેણે સમરુનમાં એક મહિના સુધી રાજ કર્યું.
14 And Manaheu, the sone of Gaddi, styede fro Thersa, and cam in to Samarie; and he smoot Sellum, sone of Jabes, in Samarie, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
૧૪ત્યાર બાદ ગાદીનો દીકરો મનાહેમ તિર્સાથી હુમલો કરીને સમરુનમાં આવ્યો. સમરુનમાં તેણે યાબેશના દીકરા શાલ્લૂમ પર હુમલો કરીને તેને મારી નાખ્યો. તેને મારી નાખીને તે તેની જગ્યાએ રાજા બન્યો.
15 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Sellum, and his conspirasie, bi which he settide tresouns, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel.
૧૫શાલ્લૂમનાં બાકીનાં કૃત્યો, તેણે જે ષડયંત્ર કર્યું તે ઇઝરાયલના રાજાઓના કાળવૃત્તાંતના પુસ્તકમાં લખેલાં નથી શું?
16 Thanne Manaheu smoot Capham, and alle men that weren thereynne, and the termes therof fro Thersa, for thei nolden opyn to hym; and he killide alle wymmen therof with child, and karf hem.
૧૬તે સમયે મનાહેમે તિફસા પર અને જેઓ ત્યાં હતા તે બધાં પર અને તિર્સાની આસપાસની સરહદોને ઘેરીને તેના પર હુમલો કર્યો અને તેઓને માર્યા. કેમ કે, તેઓએ તેને માટે નગરનો દરવાજો ઉઘાડ્યો નહિ. તેણે હુમલો કરીને લૂંટ ચલાવી. નગરની સર્વ ગર્ભવતી સ્રીઓને ક્રુરતાપૂર્વક ચીરી નાખી.
17 In the nynthe and thrittithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Manaheu, sone of Gaddi, regnede on Israel ten yeer in Samarie.
૧૭યહૂદિયાના રાજા અઝાર્યાના શાસનકાળના ઓગણચાલીસમા વર્ષે ગાદીના દીકરા મનાહેમે ઇઝરાયલ પર રાજ કર્યું, તેણે સમરુનમાં દસ વર્ષ સુધી રાજ કર્યું.
18 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
૧૮તેણે યહોવાહની દ્રષ્ટિમાં જે ખોટું હતું તે કર્યું. તેણે નબાટના દીકરા યરોબામનાં પાપો કે જે વડે તેણે ઇઝરાયલ પાસે દુરાચાર કરાવ્યો. તે બધું તેણે પોતાના જીવન પર્યંત ચાલુ રાખ્યું.
19 In alle the daies of hym Phul, the kyng of Assiries, cam in to Thersa. And Manaheu yaf to Phul a thousynde talentis of siluer, that he schulde be to hym in to help, and schulde make stidefast his rewme;
૧૯આશ્શૂરના રાજા પૂલે દેશ પર આક્રમણ કર્યુ. મનાહેમે પોતાના હાથમાં ઇઝરાયલનું રાજ મજબૂત કરવા માટે પૂલને પોતાના પક્ષનો કરી લેવા તેને એક હજાર તાલંત ચાંદી આપી.
20 and Manaheu settide taliage of siluer on Israel to alle myyti men and riche, that he schulde yyue to the kyng of Assiries; he settide fifti siclis of siluer bi alle men; and the king of Assiries turnede ayen, and dwellide not in Thersa.
૨૦મનાહેમે આશ્શૂરના રાજા પૂલને ચાંદી આપવા માટે ઇઝરાયલ પાસેથી, એટલે દરેક ધનવાન માણસ પાસેથી પચાસ શેકેલ ચાંદી જબરદસ્તીથી પડાવી. તેથી આશ્શૂરનો રાજા ત્યાંથી પાછો ફર્યો અને તે દેશમાં રહ્યો નહિ.
21 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Manaheu, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not wrytun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
૨૧મનાહેમનાં બાકીનાં કાર્યો, તેણે જે બધું કર્યું તે, ઇઝરાયલના રાજાઓના કાળવૃત્તાંતના પુસ્તકમાં લખેલાં નથી શું?
22 And Manaheu slepte with hise fadris; and Phaceia, his sone, regnyde for hym.
૨૨મનાહેમ તેના પિતૃઓની સાથે ઊંઘી ગયો, તેની જગ્યાએ તેનો દીકરો પકાહ્યા રાજા બન્યો.
23 In the fiftithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Phaceia, sone of Manaheu, regnede on Israel in Samarie twei yeer.
૨૩યહૂદિયાના રાજા અઝાર્યાના કારકિર્દીને પચાસમા વર્ષે મનાહેમનો દીકરો પકાહ્યા સમરુનમાં ઇઝરાયલ પર રાજ કરવા લાગ્યો, તેણે બે વર્ષ સુધી રાજ કર્યુ.
24 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
૨૪તેણે યહોવાહની દ્રષ્ટિમાં જે ખોટું હતું તે કર્યું. તેણે નબાટના દીકરા યરોબામનાં પાપો કે જે વડે તેણે ઇઝરાયલ પાસે દુરાચાર કરાવ્યો હતો. એવા કામ છોડ્યા નહિ.
25 Forsothe Phacee, sone of Romelie, duyk of his oost, conspiride ayens hym, and smoot hym in Samarie, in the tour of the kyngis hous, bisidis Argob, and bisidis Arib; `and he smoot hym with fifti men of the sones of Galaditis; and Phacee killide hym, and regnede for hym.
૨૫તેના સરદાર રમાલ્યાના દીકરા પેકાહે પકાહ્યા સામે ષડયંત્ર કર્યું; તેને સમરુનના રાજમહેલના કિલ્લામાં આર્ગોબ અને આર્યેહ સાથે મારી નાખ્યો. તેની સાથે ગિલ્યાદીઓમાંના પચાસ માણસો હતા. પેકાહે તેને મારી નાખીને તેની જગ્યાએ રાજા બન્યો.
26 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Phacee, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
૨૬પકાહ્યાનાં બાકીનાં કૃત્યો, તેણે જે બધું કર્યું તે, ઇઝરાયલના રાજાઓના કાળવૃત્તાંત પુસ્તકમાં લખેલાં નથી શું?
27 In the two and fiftithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Phasee, sone of Romelie, regnyde in Samarie twenti yeer.
૨૭યહૂદિયાના રાજા અઝાર્યાના કારકિર્દીને બાવનમાં વર્ષે રમાલ્યાના દીકરા પેકાહે સમરુનમાં ઇઝરાયલ પર રાજ કર્યું, તેણે વીસ વર્ષ સુધી રાજ કર્યું.
28 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; and he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
૨૮તેણે યહોવાહની દ્રષ્ટિમાં જે ખોટું હતું તે કર્યું. નબાટના દીકરા યરોબામનાં પાપો કે જે વડે તેણે ઇઝરાયલ પાસે દુરાચાર કરાવ્યા, એવું બધું કરવાનું તેણે ચાલુ રાખ્યું.
29 In the daies of Phacee, kyng of Israel, Teglat Phalasar, kyng of Assur, cam, and took Aion, and Aibel, the hows of Maacha, and Janoe, and Cedes, and Asor, and Galaad, and Galilee, and al the lond of Neptalym; and translatide hem in to Assiriens.
૨૯ઇઝરાયલના રાજા પેકાહના દિવસોમાં આશ્શૂરનો રાજા તિગ્લાથ-પિલેસેરથી ચઢી આવ્યો. તેણે ઇયોન, આબેલ-બેથ-માઅખાહ, યાનોઆ, કેદેશ, હાસોર, ગિલ્યાદ, ગાલીલ તથા નફતાલીના આખા પ્રદેશનો કબજો કરી લીધો. ત્યાંના લોકોને તે પકડીને આશ્શૂર લઈ ગયો.
30 Forsothe Osee, sone of Hela, conspiride, and settide tresouns ayens Phasee, sone of Romelie, and smoot hym, and killide hym; and he regnyde for hym, in the twentithe yeer of Joathan, sone of Ozie.
૩૦એલાના દીકરા હોશિયાએ રમાલ્યાના દીકરા પેકાહ વિરુદ્ધ ષડયંત્ર રચ્યું. તેના પર હુમલો કરીને તેને મારી નાખ્યો. ઉઝિયાના દીકરા યોથામના વીસમા વર્ષે તેની જગ્યાએ તે રાજા બન્યો.
31 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Phacee, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
૩૧પેકાહનાં બાકીના કૃત્યો, તેણે જે કર્યું તે બધું, ઇઝરાયલના રાજાઓના કાળવૃત્તાંતના પુસ્તકમાં લખેલાં નથી શું?
32 In the secounde yeer of Phacee, sone of Romelie, kyng of Israel, Joathan, sone of Ozie, kyng of Juda, regnyde;
૩૨ઇઝરાયલના રાજા રમાલ્યાના દીકરા પેકાહના કારકિર્દીને બીજા વર્ષે યહૂદિયાના રાજા ઉઝિયાનો દીકરો યોથામ રાજ કરવા લાગ્યો.
33 he was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede sixtene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jerusa, the douyter of Sadoch.
૩૩તે રાજ કરવા લાગ્યો ત્યારે તે પચીસ વર્ષનો હતો, તેણે યરુશાલેમમાં સોળ વર્ષ સુધી રાજ કર્યું. તેની માતાનું નામ યરુશા હતું; તે સાદોકની દીકરી હતી.
34 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord; he wrouyte bi alle thingis, whiche his fadir Ozie hadde do;
૩૪યોથામે યહોવાહની દ્રષ્ટિમાં જે સારું હતું તે કર્યું. પોતાના પિતા ઉઝિયાએ કર્યું હતું તે પ્રમાણે કર્યું.
35 netheles he dide not awey hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente incense in hiy thingis; he bildide the hiyeste yate of the hows of the Lord.
૩૫પણ ઉચ્ચસ્થાનો હજી દૂર કરવામાં આવ્યાં ન હતાં. લોકો હજી ત્યાં યજ્ઞો કરતા અને ધૂપ બાળતા હતા. યહોવાહના સભાસ્થાનનો ઉપરનો દરવાજો યોથામે બાંધ્યો હતો.
36 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joathan, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
૩૬યોથામનાં બાકીનાં કાર્યો, તેણે જે સર્વ કર્યું તે, યહૂદિયાના રાજાઓના કાળવૃત્તાંતના પુસ્તકમાં લખેલાં નથી શું?
37 In tho daies the Lord bigan to sende in to Juda Rasyn, the kyng of Sirie, and Phacee, the sone of Romelie.
૩૭તે દિવસોમાં યહોવાહે અરામના રાજા રસીનને તથા રમાલ્યાના દીકરા પેકાહને યહૂદિયા પર ચઢાઈ કરવા મોકલવા માંડયા.
38 And Joathan slepte with hise fadris, and was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid, his fadir; and Achaz, his sone, regnyde for hym.
૩૮પછી યોથામ પોતાના પિતૃઓની સાથે ઊંઘી ગયો અને તેને તેના પિતૃ દાઉદના નગરમાં તેના પિતૃઓની સાથે દફનાવવામાં આવ્યો. પછી તેનો દીકરો આહાઝ તેની જગ્યાએ રાજા બન્યો.
