2 Kings 15
1 In the seuenthe and twentithe yeer of Jeroboam, king of Israel, Azarie, sone of Amasie, kyng of Juda, regnede;
La vingt-septième année de Jéroboam, roi d'Israël, Azaria, fils d'Amatsia, roi de Juda, devint roi.
2 he was of sixtene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede two and fifti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jecelia of Jerusalem.
Il avait seize ans à son avènement, et il régna cinquante-deux ans à Jérusalem. Or, le nom de sa mère était Jecholia de Jérusalem.
3 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which Amasie, his fadir, hadde do;
Et il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel tout comme avait fait Amatsia, son père.
4 netheles he distriede not hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente encense in hiye thingis.
Seulement les tertres ne disparurent pas, le peuple offrait encore des victimes et de l'encens sur les tertres.
5 Forsothe the Lord smoot the kyng, and he was leprouse til in to the day of his deeth; and he dwellide in an hous freli bi hym silf. Sotheli Joathas, sone of the kyng, gouernde the palis, and demyde the puple of the lond.
Et l'Éternel infligea une plaie au roi, qui fut lépreux jusqu'au jour de sa mort et demeura dans une infirmerie. Cependant Jotham, fils du roi, était préposé sur la Maison, rendant la justice au peuple du pays.
6 Forsothe the residue of the wordis of Azarie, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?

7 And Azarie slepte with hise fadris; and thei birieden hym with hise eldre men in the citee of Dauid; and Joathas, his sone, regnede for hym.
Et Azaria reposa avec ses pères et on lui donna la sépulture avec ses pères dans la ville de David, et Jotham, son fils, devint roi en sa place.
8 In the eiyte and threttithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Zacharie, sone of Jeroboam, regnede on Israel in Samarie sixe monethis.
Là trente-huitième année d'Azaria, roi de Juda, Zacharie, fils de Jéroboam, devint roi d'Israël à Samarie pour six mois.
9 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord, as his fadris diden; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Et il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel comme avaient fait ses pères; il ne se départit point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebat, qui avait entraîné Israël à pécher.
10 Forsothe Sellum, the sone of Jabes, conspiride ayens hym in Samarie; and Sellum smoot hym opynli, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Et Sallum, fils de Jabès, conspira contre lui et fit main basse sur lui publiquement, et le tua et devint roi en sa place.
11 Sotheli the residue of the wordis of Zacharie, whethir these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
Le reste des actes de Zacharie est d'ailleurs consigné dans le livre des annales des rois d'Israël.
12 Thilke is the word of the Lord, which he spak to Hieu, and seide, `Thi sones `til to the fourthe generacioun schulen sitte `of thee on the trone of Israel; and it was doon so.
C'est la parole de l'Éternel qu'il avait dite à Jéhu en ces termes: Tu auras des fils de la quatrième génération assis au trône d'Israël, et il en fut ainsi.
13 Sellum, sone of Jabes, regnede in the nynthe and thritty yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda; sotheli he regnyde o monethe in Samarie.
Sallum, fils de Jabès, devint roi la trente-neuvième année d'Hozias, roi de Juda, et régna un mois de temps à Samarie.
14 And Manaheu, the sone of Gaddi, styede fro Thersa, and cam in to Samarie; and he smoot Sellum, sone of Jabes, in Samarie, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Et Menahem, fils de Gadi, s'avança de Thirtsa, et entra dans Samarie, et fit main basse sur Sallum, fils de Jabès, dans Samarie, et lui donna la mort et devint roi en sa place.
15 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Sellum, and his conspirasie, bi which he settide tresouns, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel.
Le reste des actes de Sallum, et sa conjuration qu'il avait formée, sont d'ailleurs consignés dans le livre des annales des rois d'Israël.
16 Thanne Manaheu smoot Capham, and alle men that weren thereynne, and the termes therof fro Thersa, for thei nolden opyn to hym; and he killide alle wymmen therof with child, and karf hem.
C'est alors que Menahem fit main basse sur Thiphsach et sur tous ceux qui y étaient, et sur tout son territoire à partir de Thirtsa; ce fut parce qu'on ne lui ouvrit pas qu'il porta ce coup; il y éventra toutes les femmes enceintes.
17 In the nynthe and thrittithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Manaheu, sone of Gaddi, regnede on Israel ten yeer in Samarie.
La trente-neuvième année d'Azaria, roi de Juda, Menahem, fils de Gadi, devint roi d'Israël, pour dix ans à Samarie.
18 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Et il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel; il ne se départit point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebat, auxquels celui-ci avait entraîné Israël, toute sa vie durant.
19 In alle the daies of hym Phul, the kyng of Assiries, cam in to Thersa. And Manaheu yaf to Phul a thousynde talentis of siluer, that he schulde be to hym in to help, and schulde make stidefast his rewme;
Phul, roi d'Assyrie, fit invasion dans le pays, et Ménahem donna à Phul mille talents d'argent afin qu'il lui prêtât la main pour assurer la royauté dans sa propre main.
20 and Manaheu settide taliage of siluer on Israel to alle myyti men and riche, that he schulde yyue to the kyng of Assiries; he settide fifti siclis of siluer bi alle men; and the king of Assiries turnede ayen, and dwellide not in Thersa.
Et Menahem tira cette somme à payer au roi d'Assyrie, sur les Israélites, tous les gens à moyens, à raison de cinquante sicles d'argent par individu. Puis le roi d'Assyrie rebroussa sans séjourner alors dans le pays.
21 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Manaheu, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not wrytun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

23 In the fiftithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Phaceia, sone of Manaheu, regnede on Israel in Samarie twei yeer.
La cinquantième année d'Azaria roi de Juda, Pekachia, fils de Menahem, devint roi d'Israël à Samarie, pour deux ans.
24 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Et il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel; il ne se départit point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebat, auxquels celui-ci avait entraîné Israël.
25 Forsothe Phacee, sone of Romelie, duyk of his oost, conspiride ayens hym, and smoot hym in Samarie, in the tour of the kyngis hous, bisidis Argob, and bisidis Arib; `and he smoot hym with fifti men of the sones of Galaditis; and Phacee killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Et Pékach, fils de Remalia, son aide-de-camp, conspira contre lui et lui porta le coup dans Samarie au donjon du palais royal, en même temps qu'à Argob et à Ariè; or il se trouvait avec lui cinquante hommes d'entre les fils des Galaadites; c'est ainsi qu'il lui donna la mort et devint roi en sa place.
26 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Phacee, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

La cinquante-deuxième année d'Azaria roi de Juda, Pékach, fils de Remalia, devint roi d'Israël à Samarie pour vingt ans.
28 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; and he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Et il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel; il ne se départit point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebat, auxquels celui-ci avait entraîné Israël.
29 In the daies of Phacee, kyng of Israel, Teglat Phalasar, kyng of Assur, cam, and took Aion, and Aibel, the hows of Maacha, and Janoe, and Cedes, and Asor, and Galaad, and Galilee, and al the lond of Neptalym; and translatide hem in to Assiriens.
Au temps de Pékach, roi d'Israël, Thiglath-Piléser, roi d'Assyrie, vint et prit Ijon et Abel-Beth-Maacha et Janoha et Kédès et Hatsor et Galaad et la Galilée, tout le territoire de Nephthali, et il les emmena captifs en Assyrie.
30 Forsothe Osee, sone of Hela, conspiride, and settide tresouns ayens Phasee, sone of Romelie, and smoot hym, and killide hym; and he regnyde for hym, in the twentithe yeer of Joathan, sone of Ozie.
Et Hosée, fils d'Éla, forma une conspiration contre Pékach, fils de Remalia, et fit main basse sur lui et lui donna la mort et devint roi en sa place la vingtième année de Jotham, fils d'Hozias.
31 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Phacee, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

32 In the secounde yeer of Phacee, sone of Romelie, kyng of Israel, Joathan, sone of Ozie, kyng of Juda, regnyde;
La seconde année de Pékach, fils de Remalia, roi d'Israël, Jotham, fils d'Hozias, roi de Juda, devint roi.
33 he was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede sixtene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jerusa, the douyter of Sadoch.
Il avait vingt-cinq ans à son avènement et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem. Or le nom de sa mère était Jérusa, fille de Tsadoc.
34 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord; he wrouyte bi alle thingis, whiche his fadir Ozie hadde do;
Et il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel; il agit en tout comme avait agi Hozias, son père.
35 netheles he dide not awey hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente incense in hiy thingis; he bildide the hiyeste yate of the hows of the Lord.
Seulement les tertres ne disparurent pas; le peuple offrait encore des victimes et de l'encens sur les tertres. Il construisit la porte supérieure du temple de l'Éternel.
36 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joathan, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?

37 In tho daies the Lord bigan to sende in to Juda Rasyn, the kyng of Sirie, and Phacee, the sone of Romelie.
Dans ce même temps l'Éternel commença à envoyer contre Juda, Retsin, roi de Syrie, et Pékach, fils de Remalia.
38 And Joathan slepte with hise fadris, and was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid, his fadir; and Achaz, his sone, regnyde for hym.
Et Jotham reposa avec ses pères et reçut la sépulture avec ses pères dans la ville de David, son père, et Achaz, son fils, devint roi en sa place.
