2 Kings 15
1 In the seuenthe and twentithe yeer of Jeroboam, king of Israel, Azarie, sone of Amasie, kyng of Juda, regnede;
En la vingt-septième année du règne de Jéroboam en Israël, Azarias, fils d'Amasias, monta sur le trône de Juda.
2 he was of sixtene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede two and fifti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jecelia of Jerusalem.
Il avait seize ans quand il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-deux ans à Jérusalem; sa mère se nommait Jéchélie de Jérusalem.
3 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which Amasie, his fadir, hadde do;
Et il fit ce qui était droit aux yeux du Seigneur; il fit tout ce qu'avait fait son père Amasias.
4 netheles he distriede not hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente encense in hiye thingis.
Mais il ne détruisit point les hauts lieux, et le peuple offrit encore des sacrifices et brûla de l'encens sur les hauts lieux.
5 Forsothe the Lord smoot the kyng, and he was leprouse til in to the day of his deeth; and he dwellide in an hous freli bi hym silf. Sotheli Joathas, sone of the kyng, gouernde the palis, and demyde the puple of the lond.
Or, le doigt du Seigneur avait touché le roi, et il fut lépreux jusqu'à sa mort, et il passa son règne dans une maison séparée; Joatham, fils du roi, régissait le palais, et jugeait le peuple de la terre promise.
6 Forsothe the residue of the wordis of Azarie, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
Quant au reste de l'histoire d'Azarias, n'est-il pas écrit au livre des Faits et gestes des rois de Juda.
7 And Azarie slepte with hise fadris; and thei birieden hym with hise eldre men in the citee of Dauid; and Joathas, his sone, regnede for hym.
Et Azarias s'endormit avec ses pères; on l'ensevelit auprès d'eux en la ville de David, et Joatham, son fils, régna à sa place.
8 In the eiyte and threttithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Zacharie, sone of Jeroboam, regnede on Israel in Samarie sixe monethis.
En la trente-huitième année du règne d'Azarias en Juda, Zacharias, fils de Jéroboam, commença en Samarie un règne qui dura six mois.
9 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord, as his fadris diden; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Et il fit le mal aux yeux du Seigneur comme avaient fait ses pères; il ne se retira point des péchés où Jéroboam, fils de Nabat, avait fait tomber Israël.
10 Forsothe Sellum, the sone of Jabes, conspiride ayens hym in Samarie; and Sellum smoot hym opynli, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Et Sellum, fils de Jabès, et d'autres conspirèrent contre lui; ils le frappèrent devant le peuple et le tuèrent; et Sellum régna à sa place.
11 Sotheli the residue of the wordis of Zacharie, whethir these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
Le reste de l'histoire de Zacharie est écrit au livre des Faits et gestes des rois d'Israël.
12 Thilke is the word of the Lord, which he spak to Hieu, and seide, `Thi sones `til to the fourthe generacioun schulen sitte `of thee on the trone of Israel; and it was doon so.
Le Seigneur avait dit à Jéhu: Tes fils se maintiendront sur le trône d'Israël jusqu'à la quatrième génération. Et sa parole s'accomplit.
13 Sellum, sone of Jabes, regnede in the nynthe and thritty yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda; sotheli he regnyde o monethe in Samarie.
Sellum, fils de Jabès, fut proclamé roi; en la trente-neuvième année du règne d'Azarias en Juda, Sellum commença à Samarie un règne qui ne dura qu'un mois.
14 And Manaheu, the sone of Gaddi, styede fro Thersa, and cam in to Samarie; and he smoot Sellum, sone of Jabes, in Samarie, and killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Car, Manahem, fils de Gaddi, vint de Tharsila, entra dans Samarie, et y frappa Sellum, fils de Jabès, et il le tua.
15 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Sellum, and his conspirasie, bi which he settide tresouns, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel.
Le reste de l'histoire de Sellum et sa révolte sont écrits au livre des faits et gestes des rois d'Israël.
16 Thanne Manaheu smoot Capham, and alle men that weren thereynne, and the termes therof fro Thersa, for thei nolden opyn to hym; and he killide alle wymmen therof with child, and karf hem.
Alors, Manahem dévasta Thersa, tout ce qu'elle contenait et tout son territoire, parce que cette ville lui avait fermé ses portes; il en fit le sac, et il fit avorter des femmes enceintes.
17 In the nynthe and thrittithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Manaheu, sone of Gaddi, regnede on Israel ten yeer in Samarie.
En la trente-neuvième année du règne d'Azarias en Juda, Manahem, fils de Gaddi, commença en Samarie un règne qui dura dix ans.
18 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Et il fit le mal aux yeux du Seigneur, et il ne se retira pas des péchés où Jéroboam, fils de Nabat, avait fait tomber Israël.
19 In alle the daies of hym Phul, the kyng of Assiries, cam in to Thersa. And Manaheu yaf to Phul a thousynde talentis of siluer, that he schulde be to hym in to help, and schulde make stidefast his rewme;
Pendant son règne, Phua, roi des Assyriens, envahit la terre; et Manahem lui donna mille talents d'argent pour qu'il fût son allié.
20 and Manaheu settide taliage of siluer on Israel to alle myyti men and riche, that he schulde yyue to the kyng of Assiries; he settide fifti siclis of siluer bi alle men; and the king of Assiries turnede ayen, and dwellide not in Thersa.
Et Manahem leva cet argent en Israël, sur tout homme riche, lui prenant cinquante sicles pour les donner au roi des Assyriens; Phua s'en retourna, et il ne resta point dans la terre promise.

22 And Manaheu slepte with hise fadris; and Phaceia, his sone, regnyde for hym.
Et Manahem s'endormit avec ses pères, et son fils Phaceïa régna à sa place.
23 In the fiftithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Phaceia, sone of Manaheu, regnede on Israel in Samarie twei yeer.
En la cinquantième année du règne d'Azarias en Juda, Phaceïa commença en Samarie un règne qui dura deux ans.
24 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Et il fit le mal aux yeux du Seigneur; il ne se retira pas des péchés où Jéroboam avait fait tomber Israël.
25 Forsothe Phacee, sone of Romelie, duyk of his oost, conspiride ayens hym, and smoot hym in Samarie, in the tour of the kyngis hous, bisidis Argob, and bisidis Arib; `and he smoot hym with fifti men of the sones of Galaditis; and Phacee killide hym, and regnede for hym.
Et Phacée, fils de Romélie, un de ses grands officiers, conspira contre lui; il le frappa dans Samarie devant le palais du roi, avec Argob; Arias et cinquante hommes des quatre cents étaient avec lui; il le tua et il régna à sa place.
26 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Phacee, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

27 In the two and fiftithe yeer of Azarie, kyng of Juda, Phasee, sone of Romelie, regnyde in Samarie twenti yeer.
En la cinquante-deuxième année du règne d'Azarias en Juda, Phacée, fils de Romélie, commença en Samarie un règne qui dura vingt ans.
28 And he dide that, that was yuel bifor the Lord; and he departide not fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
Il fit le mal aux yeux du Seigneur; il ne se retira pas des péchés où Jéroboam, fils de Nabat, avait fait tomber Israël.
29 In the daies of Phacee, kyng of Israel, Teglat Phalasar, kyng of Assur, cam, and took Aion, and Aibel, the hows of Maacha, and Janoe, and Cedes, and Asor, and Galaad, and Galilee, and al the lond of Neptalym; and translatide hem in to Assiriens.
Sous le règne de Phacée, roi d'Israël, Theglath-Phalasar, roi des Assyriens, vint prendre Aïon, Abel, Thamaacha, Anioch, Cenez, Asor, Galaan, la Galilée, toute la terre de Nephthali, et il emmena les habitants chez les Assyriens.
30 Forsothe Osee, sone of Hela, conspiride, and settide tresouns ayens Phasee, sone of Romelie, and smoot hym, and killide hym; and he regnyde for hym, in the twentithe yeer of Joathan, sone of Ozie.
Alors, Osée, fils d'Ela, trama un complot contre Phacée, fils de Romélie; il le frappa, le tua, et régna à sa place en la vingtième année de Joatham, fils d'Azarias.
31 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Phacee, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

32 In the secounde yeer of Phacee, sone of Romelie, kyng of Israel, Joathan, sone of Ozie, kyng of Juda, regnyde;
En la seconde année du règne de Phacée en Israël, Joatham, fils d'Azarias, devint roi de Juda.
33 he was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede sixtene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jerusa, the douyter of Sadoch.
Il avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu'il monta sur le trône, et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem; sa mère se nommait Jerusa, fille de Sadoc.
34 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord; he wrouyte bi alle thingis, whiche his fadir Ozie hadde do;
Et il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux du Seigneur, comme avait fait Azarias, son père.
35 netheles he dide not awey hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente incense in hiy thingis; he bildide the hiyeste yate of the hows of the Lord.
Mais il ne détruisit point les hauts lieux; le peuple faisait encore des sacrifices et brûlait de l'encens sur les hauts lieux; ce fut lui qui bâtit la porte supérieure du temple.
36 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joathan, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
Quant au reste de l'histoire de Joatham, n'est-il pas écrit au livre des Faits et gestes des rois de Juda?
37 In tho daies the Lord bigan to sende in to Juda Rasyn, the kyng of Sirie, and Phacee, the sone of Romelie.
En ces jours-là, le Seigneur commença d'envoyer contre Juda, Rasin, roi de Syrie, et Phacée, fils de Romélie.
38 And Joathan slepte with hise fadris, and was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid, his fadir; and Achaz, his sone, regnyde for hym.
Et Joatham s'endormit avec ses pères; il fut enseveli auprès d'eux en la ville de David, son aieul; et Achaz, son fils, régna à sa place.
