2 Chronicles 36
1 Therfor the puple of the lond took Joachaz, the sone of Josie, and ordeynede hym kyng for his fadir in Jerusalem.
Ja maan kansa otti Joahaksen Josian pojan, ja tekivät hänen kuninkaaksi isänsä siaan Jerusalemiin.
2 Joachaz was of thre and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede thre monethis in Jerusalem.
Kolmen vuotinen kolmattakymmentä oli Joahas tullessansa kuninkaaksi, ja hallitsi kolme kuukautta Jerusalemissa.
3 Sotheli the kyng of Egipt, `whan he hadde come to Jerusalem, remouyde hym, and condempnede the lond in an hundrid talentis of siluer and in a talent of gold.
Sillä Egyptin kuningas pani hänen pois Jerusalemista, ja sakotti maan sataan leiviskään hopiaa ja leiviskään kultaa.
4 And he ordeynede for hym Eliachim, his brother, kyng on Juda and Jerusalem; and turnede his name Joakym. Sotheli he took thilk Joachaz with hym silf, and brouyte in to Egipt.
Ja Egyptin kuningas teki Eliakimin hänen veljensä Juudan ja Jerusalemin kuninkaaksi, ja muutti hänen nimensä Jojakimiksi. Mutta Neko otti hänen veljensä Joahaksen ja vei Egyptiin.
5 Joakym was of fyue and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnyde eleuene yeer in Jerusalem, and he dide yuel bifor `his Lord God.
Viiden vuotinen kolmattakymmentä oli Jojakim tullessansa kuninkaaksi, ja hallitsi yksitoistakymmentä vuotta Jerusalemissa, ja teki pahaa Herran Jumalansa edessä.
6 Nabugodonosor, kyng of Caldeis, styede ayens this Joakym, and ledde hym boundun with chaynes in to Babiloyne.
Ja Nebukadnetsar Babelin kuningas meni häntä vastaan, ja sitoi hänen kaksilla vaskikahleilla viedäksensä Babeliin.
7 To which Babiloyne he translatide also the vessels of the Lord, and settide tho in his temple.
Ja Nebukadnetsar vei muutamia Herran huoneen astioita Babeliin ja pani ne templiinsä Babelissa.
8 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Joakym, and of hise abhomynaciouns whiche he wrouyte, and that weren foundun in hym, ben conteyned in the book of kyngis of Israel and of Juda. Therfor Joachym, his sone, regnede for hym.
Mitä muuta Jojakimista sanomista on, ja hänen kauhistuksistansa, jotka hän teki ja hänessä löydetty oli: katso, ne ovat kirjoitetut Israelin ja Juudan kuningasten kirjassa. Ja hänen poikansa Jojakin tuli kuninkaaksi hänen siaansa.
9 Joachym was of eiyte yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede thre monethis and ten daies in Jerusalem, and he dide yuel in the siyt of the Lord.
Kahdeksan vuotinen oli Jojakin tullessansa kuninkaaksi, ja hallitsi kolme kuukautta ja kymmenen päivää Jerusalemissa, ja teki pahaa Herran edessä.
10 And whanne the cercle of the yeer was turned aboute, Nabugodonosor the kynge sente men, whiche also brouyten hym in to Babiloyne, whanne the moost preciouse vessels of the hows of the Lord weren borun out togidir. Sotheli he ordeynede Sedechie, his fadris brother, kyng on Juda and Jerusalem.
Kuin vuosi kulunut oli, lähetti Nebukadnetsar ja antoi tuoda hänen Babeliin, kallisten Herran huoneen astiain kanssa, ja teki Zidkian hänen veljensä Juudan ja Jerusalemin kuninkaaksi.
11 Sedechie was of oon and twenti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede eleuene yeer in Jerusalem.
Yhden vuotinen kolmattakymmentä oli Zidkia tullessansa kuninkaaksi, ja hallitsi yksitoistakymmentä vuotta Jerusalemissa,
12 And he dide yuel in the siyt of `his Lord God, and he was not aschamed of the face of Jeremye, the prophete, spekynge to hym bi the mouth of the Lord.
Ja teki pahaa Herran Jumalansa edessä ja ei nöyryyttänyt itsiänsä prophetan Jeremian edessä, joka puhui Herran suusta.
13 Also he yede awey fro the kyng Nabugodonosor, that hadde made hym to swere bi God; and he made hard his nol and herte, that he nolde turne ayen to the Lord of Israel.
Hän luopui myös Nebukadnetsarista Babelin kuninkaasta, joka häntä Jumalan kautta vannottanut oli, ja tuli uppiniskaiseksi ja kovetti sydämensä, niin ettei hän ollenkaan tahtonut itsiänsä kääntää Herran Israelin Jumalan tykö.

Ja kaikki pappein päämiehet ja kansa tekivät myös syntiä suuresti kaikkinaisten pakanain kauhistusten jälkeen, ja saastuttivat Herran huoneen, jonka hän oli pyhittänyt Jerusalemissa.
15 Forsothe the Lord God of her fadris sente to hem bi the hond of hise messangeris, and roos bi nyyt, and amonestide ech day; for he sparide his puple and dwellyng place.
Ja Herra heidän isäinsä Jumala lähetti heidän tykönsä varhain ja usiasti sanansa saattajain kautta; sillä hän armahti kansansa ja majansa päälle.
16 And thei scorneden the messangeris of God, and dispisiden hise wordis, and scorneden hise prophetis; til the greet veniaunce of the Lord stiede on his puple, and noon heelyng were.
Mutta he pilkkasivat Jumalan lähetyssanoja, ja katsoivat hänen sanansa ylön, ja häpäisivät hänen prophetaitansa, siihenasti että Herran viha kasvoi hänen kansansa päälle, niin ettei heillä enää parannusta ollut.
17 And he brouyte on hem the kyng of Caldeis; and killide the yonge men of hem `bi swerd in the hows of seyntuarie; `he hadde not merci of a yong `man, and of a vergyn, and of an eld man, and sotheli nether of a man niy the deth for eldnesse, but he bitook alle in the hond of that king of Caldeis.
Niin hän saatti heidän ylitsensä Kaldealaisten kuninkaan, ja hän antoi tappaa heidän nuorukaisensa miekalla heidän pyhänsä huoneessa, eikä armahtanut nuorukaisia eli neitseitä, taikka vanhoja eli ijällisiä isiä; kaikki antoi hän hänen käteensä.
18 And he translatide in to Babiloyne alle the vessels of the hows of the Lord, bothe the grettere and the lasse vessels, and the tresours of the temple, and of the kyng, and of the princes.
Ja kaikki Jumalan huoneen astiat, suuret ja pienet, ja Herran huoneen tavarat, kuninkaan ja hänen päämiestensä tavarat: ne kaikki vei hän pois Babeliin.
19 Enemyes brenten the hows of the Lord; thei distrieden the wal of Jerusalem; thei brenten alle the touris; and thei distrieden what euer thing was preciouse.
Ja he polttivat Jumalan huoneen ja kukistivat Jerusalemin muurin, ja kaikki heidän koriat huoneensa poltettiin tulella, niin että kaikki heidän kalliit kalunsa hukutettiin.
20 If ony man ascapide the swerd, he was led in to Babiloyne, and seruyde the kyng and hise sones; til the kyng of Peersis regnyde,
Ja ne, jotka olivat miekalta päässeet, vietiin Babeliin; ja he olivat hänen ja hänen poikainsa orjat, siihenasti että Persian valtakunta hallitsi.
21 and the word of the Lord bi the mouth of Jeremye was fillid, and til the lond halewide hise sabatis. For in alle the daies of desolacioun it made sabat, til that seuenti yeer weren fillid.
Että täytettäisiin Herran sana, puhuttu Jeremian suun kautta, ja siihenasti sai maa kyllä sabbatinsa; sillä koko hävityksen aikana oli lepo, siihenasti kuin seitsemänkymmentä ajastaikaa täytettiin.
22 Forsothe in the firste yeer of Cyrus, kyng of Persis, to fille the word of the Lord, which he hadde spoke bi the mouth of Jeremye, the Lord reiside the spirit of Cirus, king of Persis, that comaundide to be prechid in al his rewme, yhe, bi scripture, and seide, Cirus,
Mutta ensimäisenä Persian kuninkaan Koreksen vuonna, (että täytettäisiin Herran sana, sanottu Jeremian suun kautta), herätti Herra Koreksen Persian kuninkaan hengen, että hän antoi kuuluttaa koko valtakunnassansa, niin myös kirjoitusten kautta, ja sanoi:
23 the king of Persis, seith these thingis, The Lord God of heuene yaf to me alle the rewmes of erthe, and he comaundide to me, that Y schulde bilde to hym an hows in Jerusalem, which is in Judee. Who of you is in al his puple? `his Lord God be with hym, and stie he `in to Jerusalem.
Näin sanoo Kores Persian kuningas: Herra taivaan Jumala on antanut minulle kaikki valtakunnat maalla, ja on käskenyt minun rakentaa hänellensä huoneen Jerusalemissa, joka on Juudassa. Kuka nyt on teidän seassansa kaikesta hänen kansastansa? Herra hänen Jumalansa olkoon hänen kanssansa, ja hän menköön sinne ylös!
