2 Chronicles 26
1 Forsothe al the puple of Juda made kyng, Ozie, his sone, `of sixtene yeer, for his fader Amasie.
Kaj la tuta Juda popolo prenis Uzijan, kiu havis la aĝon de dek ses jaroj, kaj faris lin reĝo anstataŭ lia patro Amacja.
2 He bildide Hailath, and restoride it to the lordschipe of Juda, after that the kyng slepte with hise fadris.
Li prikonstruis Elaton kaj revenigis ĝin al Judujo, post kiam la reĝo ekdormis kun siaj patroj.
3 Ozie was of sixtene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne; and he regnede two and fifti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Hiechelia, of Jerusalem.
La aĝon de dek ses jaroj havis Uzija, kiam li fariĝis reĝo, kaj kvindek du jarojn li reĝis en Jerusalem. La nomo de lia patrino estis Jeĥolja, el Jerusalem.
4 And he dide that, that was riytful in the siyt of the Lord, bi alle thingis whiche Amasie, his fadir, hadde do.
Li agadis bone antaŭ la Eternulo, tiel same, kiel agadis lia patro Amacja.
5 And he souyte the Lord in the daies of Zacarie, vndurstondynge and seynge God; and whanne he souyte God, God reulide hym in alle thingis.
Li turnadis sin al Dio en la tempo de Zeĥarja, la kompetentulo en Diaj vizioj; kaj en tiu tempo, kiam li turnadis sin al la Eternulo, Dio donadis al li sukceson.
6 Forsothe he yede out, and fauyt ayens Filisteis, and distriede the wal of Geth, and the wal of Jabyne, and the wal of Azotus; and he bildide stronge places in Azotus and in Filistiym.
Li eliris kaj militis kontraŭ la Filiŝtoj; li detruis la muregon de Gat, la muregon de Jabne, kaj la muregon de Aŝdod; kaj li konstruis urbojn en la regiono de Aŝdod kaj en Filiŝtujo.
7 And the Lord helpide hym bothe ayens Filisteis, and ayens Arabeis that dwelliden in Garbahal, and ayenus Amonytis.
Kaj Dio helpis al li kontraŭ la Filiŝtoj, kaj kontraŭ la Araboj, kiuj loĝis en Gur-Baal, kaj kontraŭ la Meunoj.
8 Amonytis paieden yiftis to Ozie, and his name was pupplischid `til to the entryng of Egipt for ofte victories.
Kaj la Amonidoj donis al Uzija donacojn, kaj lia nomo fariĝis fama ĝis la limo de Egiptujo, ĉar li estis tre forta.
9 And Ozie bildide touris in Jerusalem ouer the yate of the corner, and ouer the yate of the valey, and othere touris in the same side of the wal; and made tho stidefast.
Uzija konstruis turojn en Jerusalem super la Pordego Angula, super la Pordego de la Valo, kaj super la angulo, kaj fortikigis ilin.
10 Also he bildide touris in the wildirnesse, and he diggide ful many cisternes; for he hadde many beestis as wel in the feeldi places as in the wastnesse of deseert. Also he hadde vyneris and tiliers of vynes in the hilles, and in Carmele; for he was a man youun to erthetilthe.
Li konstruis ankaŭ turojn en la dezerto kaj elhakis multe da putoj, ĉar li havis multe da brutoj sur la malaltaĵo kaj sur la ebenaĵo; li havis ankaŭ terkultivistojn kaj vinberistojn sur la montoj kaj kreskotaŭgaj lokoj, ĉar li estis amanto de la tero.
11 Forsothe the oost of hise werriours, that yeden forth to batels, vndur the hond of Heiel, scribe, and of Masie, techere, and vndur the hond of Ananye that was of the duykis of the kyng;
Uzija havis militistaron, kapablan por bataloj, elirantan en militon per taĉmentoj, laŭ la nombro, kalkulita de la skribisto Jeiel kaj de la inspektisto Maaseja, sub kontrolo de Ĥananja, el la altranguloj de la reĝo.
12 and al the noumbre of princes, by her meynees, was of stronge men two thousynde and sixe hundrid.
La tuta nombro de la ĉefoj de patrodomoj, el la bravaj militistoj, estis du mil sescent;
13 And vndur hem was al the oost, thre hundrid thousynde and seuen thousynde and fyue hundrid, that weren able to batel, and fouyten for the king ayens aduersaries.
kaj sub ilia regado estis militistaro el tricent sep mil kvincent povantaj fari militon kun batalkapableco, por helpi al la reĝo kontraŭ la malamiko.
14 And Ozie made redi to hem, that is, to al the oost, scheldis, and speris, and basynetis, and haburiouns, and bouwis, and slyngis to caste stonys.
Kaj Uzija pretigis por ili, por la tuta militistaro, ŝildojn, lancojn, kaskojn, kirasojn, pafarkojn, kaj ŝtonojn por ŝtonĵetiloj.
15 And he made in Jerusalem engynes of dyuerse kynde, which he settide in touris, and in the corneris of wallis, that tho schulden caste arowis and grete stoonys; and his name yede out fer, for the Lord helpide hym, and hadde maad him strong.
Kaj li faris en Jerusalem maŝinojn, elpensitajn de specialistoj, por ke ili troviĝu sur la turoj kaj sur la anguloj, por ĵetadi sagojn kaj grandajn ŝtonojn. Kaj lia nomo fariĝis fama malproksime, ĉar li mirinde aranĝis al si helpon, ĝis li fariĝis potenca.
16 But whanne he was maad strong, his herte was reisid in to his perischyng; and he dispiside `his Lord God; and he entride in to the temple of the Lord, and wolde brenne encense on the auter of encense.
Sed kiam li fariĝis potenca, lia koro fieriĝis tiel, ke li malboniĝis. Li krimis kontraŭ la Eternulo, lia Dio, kaj li eniris en la templon de la Eternulo, por incensi sur la altaro de incensado.
17 And anoon Azarie, the preest, entride after hym, and with hym the preestis of the Lord, seuenti `men ful noble;
Kaj eniris post li la pastro Azarja, kaj kun li okdek pastroj de la Eternulo, kuraĝuloj;
18 whiche ayenstoden the kyng, and seiden, Ozie, it is not of thin office, that thou brenne encense to the Lord, but of the preestis of the Lord, that is, of the sones of Aaron, that ben halewid to siche seruyce; go thou out of the seyntuarye; dispise thou not; for this thing schal not be arettid of the Lord God to thee in to glorie.
kaj ili stariĝis kontraŭ la reĝo Uzija, kaj diris al li: Ne vi, Uzija, devas incensi al la Eternulo, sed incensi devas la pastroj, idoj de Aaron, sanktigitaj; eliru el la sanktejo, ĉar vi faris krimon, kaj tio ne estos por vi honora antaŭ Dio, la Eternulo.
19 And Ozie was wrooth, and he helde in the hond the censere for to offre encence, and manaasside the preestis; and anoon lepre was sprungun forth in his forheed, bifor the preestis in the hows of the Lord on the auter of encense.
Tiam Uzija ekkoleris, kaj en la mano li tenis incensilon, por incensi. Sed kiam li ekkoleris kontraŭ la pastroj, lepro aperis sur lia frunto, antaŭ la pastroj en la domo de la Eternulo, apud la altaro de incensado.
20 And whanne Azarie, the bischop, hadde biholde hym, and alle othere preestis `hadden biholde him, thei sien lepre in his forheed, and hiyngli thei puttiden hym out; but also he was aferd, and hastide to go out; for he feelide anoon the veniaunce of the Lord.
Kiam sin turnis al li la ĉefpastro Azarja kaj ĉiuj pastroj, ili ekvidis, ke li havas lepron sur la frunto. Kaj ili rapide elkondukis lin de tie, kaj ankaŭ li mem rapidis eliri, ĉar la Eternulo lin frapis.
21 Therfor kyng Ozie was leprouse `til to the dai of his deeth, and dwellide in an hows bi it silf, and he was ful of lepre; `for which he was cast out of the hows of the Lord. Forsothe Joathan, his sone, gouernyde the hows of the kyng, and demyde the puple of the lond.
Kaj la reĝo Uzija restis lepra ĝis la tago de sia morto, kaj li loĝis en izolita domo de leprulo; ĉar li estis forigita for de la domo de la Eternulo. Kaj lia filo Jotam estis ĉefo de la reĝa domo kaj regis la popolon de la lando.
22 Sotheli Ysaie, the prophete, the sone of Amos, wroot the residue `of the formere and of the laste wordis of Ozie.
La ceteran historion de Uzija, la unuan kaj la lastan, priskribis la profeto Jesaja, filo de Amoc.
23 And Ozie slepte with hise fadris, and thei birieden not hym in the feeld of the kyngis sepulcris, for he was leprouse; and Joathan, his sone, regnyde for hym.
Kaj Uzija ekdormis kun siaj patroj, kaj oni enterigis lin kun liaj patroj sur la kampo de la tomboj de la reĝoj; ĉar oni diris: Li estas leprulo. Kaj anstataŭ li ekreĝis lia filo Jotam.
