1 Timothy 2
1 Therfor Y biseche first of alle thingis, that bisechingis, preieris, axyngis, doyngis of thankyngis, ben maad for alle men,
ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ସର୍ବତୋଭାବେ ଈଶ୍ବରପରାୟଣତା ଓ ଭଦ୍ରତା ସହ ଶାନ୍ତି ଓ ବାଧାହୀନ ଜୀବନଯାପନ କରିପାରୁ,
2 for kingis and alle that ben set in hiynesse, that we leden a quyet and a pesible lijf, in al pite and chastite.
ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ସର୍ବସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ, ରାଜା ଓ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ନିବେଦନ, ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା, ବିନତି ଓ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ସର୍ବ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରୁଅଛି।
3 For this thing is good and acceptid bifor God,
ଏହା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ତ୍ରାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ସୁଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ ଅଟେ;
4 oure sauyour, that wole that alle men ben maad saaf, and that thei come to the knowyng of treuthe.
ସମସ୍ତେ ଯେପରି ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଓ ସତ୍ୟ ବିଷୟରେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ପାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି, ଏହା ସେ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି।
5 For o God and a mediatour is of God and of men, a man Crist Jhesus,
କାରଣ ଏକମାତ୍ର ଈଶ୍ବର ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ଈଶ୍ବର ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକମାତ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁ, ଜଣେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ;
6 that yaf him silf redempcioun for alle men. Whos witnessing is confermyd in his tymes;
ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମୁକ୍ତିର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱରୂପେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଦାନ କରି ଠିକ୍ ସମୟରେ ସେଥିର ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
7 in which Y am set a prechour and an apostle. For Y seye treuthe, and Y lie not, that am a techere of hethene men in feith and in treuthe.
ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ପ୍ରଚାରକ, ପ୍ରେରିତ ପୁଣି, ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଓ ସତ୍ୟ ବିଷୟରେ ଅଣଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଭାବେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲି, ମୁଁ ସତ କହୁଅଛି, ମିଛ କହୁ ନାହିଁ।
8 Therfor Y wole, that men preye in al place, liftinge vp clene hondis with outen wraththe and strijf.
ଏଣୁ ମୋହର ଇଚ୍ଛା, ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଶୁଚି ହସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ କରି କ୍ରୋଧ ଓ ବିତର୍କ ବିନା ସର୍ବତ୍ର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତୁ।
9 Also wymmen in couenable abite, with schamefastnesse and sobrenesse araiynge hem silf, not in writhun heeris, ethir in gold, ethir peerlis, ethir preciouse cloth; but that that bicometh wymmen,
ସେହିପରି ମଧ୍ୟ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ କେଶବିନ୍ୟାସ ଏବଂ ସୁନା କି ମୁକ୍ତା କି ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ବସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ଭୂଷିତା ନ କରି ଲଜ୍ଜା ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ ବୁଦ୍ଧିର ସହକାରେ ପରିପାଟୀ ପରିଚ୍ଛଦ ପିନ୍ଧି
10 biheetinge pite bi good werkis.
ଧର୍ମପରାୟଣା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଉପଯୋଗୀ ଉତ୍ତମ କର୍ମରୂପ ଭୂଷଣରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ଭୂଷିତା କରନ୍ତୁ।
11 A womman lerne in silence, with al subieccioun.
ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବଶ୍ୟତା ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରି ନୀରବରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରୁ।
12 But Y suffre not a womman to teche, nether to haue lordschip on the hosebonde, but to be in silence.
ମୁଁ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଅବା ପୁରୁଷ ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତାପଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମତି ଦେଉ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ନୀରବରେ ରହୁ।
13 For Adam was first formed, aftirward Eue;
କାରଣ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଆଦମ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହେଲେ, ତାହା ପରେ ହବା;
14 and Adam was not disseyued, but the womman was disseyued, in breking of the lawe.
ଆଉ ଆଦମ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚିତ ହୋଇ ନ ଥିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ନାରୀ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚିତା ହୋଇ ଆଜ୍ଞାଲଙ୍ଘନ ଦୋଷରେ ଦୋଷୀ ହେଲେ;
15 But sche schal be sauyd bi generacioun of children, if sche dwellith perfitli in feith, and loue, and hoolynesse, with sobrenesse.
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ଉତ୍ତମ ବୁଦ୍ଧିର ସହ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ, ପ୍ରେମ ଓ ପବିତ୍ରତାରେ ସ୍ଥିର ରହିଲେ ସେ ସନ୍ତାନ ପ୍ରସବ କରିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଇବେ।
