1 Thessalonians 1

1 Poul, and Siluan, and Tymothe, to the chirche of Tessalonicensis, in God the fadir,

ପାଉଲ, ସିଲ୍ୱାନ ଓ ତୀମଥି, ପିତା ଈଶ୍ବର ଓ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠାରେ ଥିବା ଥେସଲନୀକୀ ସହରରେ ଥିବା ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ନିକଟକୁ ପତ୍ର; ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ହେଉ।

2 and in the Lord Jhesu Crist, grace and pees to you. We doon thankyngis to God euere more for alle you, and we maken mynde of you in oure preyeris withouten ceessyng;

ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଈଶ୍ବର ଓ ପିତାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ୱାସର କର୍ମ, ପ୍ରେମର ପରିଶ୍ରମ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭରସାର ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବିଷୟ ନିରନ୍ତର ସ୍ମରଣ କରି,

3 hauynge mynde of the werk of youre feith, and trauel, and charite, and abyding of the hope of oure Lord Jhesu Crist, bifor God and oure fadir.

ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନାମ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖପୂର୍ବକ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସର୍ବଦା ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେଉଅଛୁ;

4 Ye louyde britheren of God, we witinge youre chesing;

କାରଣ ହେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରିୟ ଭ୍ରାତୃବୃନ୍ଦ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣୁ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକ,

5 for oure gospel was not at you in word oneli, but also in vertu, and in the Hooli Goost, and in myche plente; as ye witen, whiche we weren among you for you;

ଯେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସୁସମାଚାର କେବଳ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଶକ୍ତି, ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଓ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ନିଶ୍ଚୟତା ସହ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ପ୍ରକାର ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିଥିଲୁ, ତାହା ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣ।

6 and ye ben maad foleweris of vs, and of the Lord, resseyuynge the word in myche tribulacioun, with ioye of the Hooli Goost;

ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବହୁ କ୍ଲେଶ ଭୋଗ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଦତ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦ ସହ ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅନୁକାରୀ ହୋଇଥିଲ,

7 so that ye ben maad ensaumple to alle men that bileuen, in Macedonye and in Acaie.

ଯେପରିକି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମାକିଦନିଆ ଓ ଆଖାୟା ନିବାସୀ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆଦର୍ଶ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇଥିଲ।

8 For of you the word of the Lord is pupplischid, not oneli in Macedonye and Acaie, but youre feith that is to God, in ech place is gon forth; so that it is not nede to vs to speke ony thing.

କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ଯେ କେବଳ ମାକିଦନିଆ ଓ ଆଖାୟାରେ ପ୍ରଚାରିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ତାହା ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ୱାସର ବିଷୟ ସର୍ବତ୍ର ଏପରି ବ୍ୟାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛି ଯେ, ସେ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର କିଛି କହିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ନୁହେଁ।

9 For thei schewen of you, what maner entre we hadden to you, and hou ye ben conuertid to God fro maumettis, to serue to the lyuynge God and veri; and to abide his sone fro heuenes,

ଯେଣୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଜେ ନିଜେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ କହିଥାଆନ୍ତି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗମନ ସମୟରେ କଅଣ ଘଟିଥିଲା ଆଉ କିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତିମାସବୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ଜୀବିତ ଓ ସତ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ,

10 whom he reiside fro deth, the Lord Jhesu, that delyuerede us fro wraththe to comynge.

ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ଯେଉଁ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠାଇଲେ, ଆଗାମୀ କ୍ରୋଧରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସେହି ଉଦ୍ଧାରକର୍ତ୍ତା ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ଆଗମନ କରିବାର ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ରହିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଈଶ୍ଵରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଫେରିଲ।
