1 Samuel 7
1 Therfor men of Cariathiarym camen, and ledden ayen the arke of the Lord, and brouyten it in to the hows of Amynadab in Gabaa. Sotheli thei halewiden Eleazar his sone, that he schulde kepe the ark of the Lord.
At ang mga lalake sa Chiriath-jearim ay nagsiparoon, at iniahon ang kaban ng Panginoon, at dinala sa bahay ni Abinadab sa burol, at pinapagbanal si Eleazar na kaniyang anak, upang ingatan ang kaban ng Panginoon.
2 And it was doon, fro which dai `the arke of the Lord dwellide in Caryathiarym, daies weren multiplied; for the twentithe yeer was now, after that Samuel bigan to teche the puple; and al Israel restide aftir the Lord.
At nangyari, mula nang araw na itahan ang kaban sa Chiriath-jearim, na ang panahon ay nagtatagal; sapagka't naging dalawang pung taon; at ang buong sangbahayan ng Israel ay tumaghoy sa Panginoon.
3 Forsothe Samuel spak to al the hows of Israel, and seide, If in al youre herte ye turnen ayen to the Lord, do ye awei alien goddis, Balym and Astaroth, fro the myddis of you; and make ye redi youre hertis to the Lord, and serue ye hym aloone; and he schal delyuere you fro the hond of Filisteis.
At nagsalita si Samuel sa buong sangbahayan ng Israel, na nagsasabi, Kung kayo'y babalik sa Panginoon ng buo ninyong puso ay inyo ngang alisin sa inyo ang mga dios na iba, at ang mga Astaroth, at ihanda ninyo ang inyong mga puso sa Panginoon, at sa kaniya lamang kayo maglingkod; at ililigtas niya kayo sa kamay ng mga Filisteo.
4 Therfor the sones of Israel diden awey Baalym and Astoroth, and serueden the Lord aloone.
Nang magkagayo'y inalis ng mga anak ni Israel ang mga Baal at ang mga Astaroth, at sa Panginoon lamang naglingkod.
5 Forsothe Samuel seide, Gadere ye al Israel in to Masphat, that Y preie the Lord for you.
At sinabi ni Samuel, Pisanin ninyo ang buong Israel sa Mizpa at idadalangin ko kayo sa Panginoon.
6 And thei camen togidere in to Masphat, and thei drowen watir, and shedden out in the `siyt of the Lord; and thei fastiden in that day, and seiden, Lord, we synneden to thee. And Samuel demyde the sones of Israel in Masphat.
At sila'y nagtitipon sa Mizpa, at nagsiigib ng tubig, at ibinuhos sa harap ng Panginoon, at nagsipagayuno nang araw na yaon, at nangagsabi, Kami ay nangagkasala laban sa Panginoon. At naghukom si Samuel sa mga anak ni Israel sa Mizpa.
7 And Filisteis herden that the sones of Israel weren gaderid in Masphat; and the princes of Filisteis stieden to Israel. And whanne the sones of Israel hadden herd this, thei dredden of the face of Filisteis.
At nang mabalitaan ng mga Filisteo na ang mga anak ni Israel ay nagtitipon sa Mizpa, nagsiahon laban sa Israel ang mga pangulo ng mga Filisteo. At nang mabalitaan ng mga anak ni Israel, ay nangatakot sa mga Filisteo.
8 And `thei seiden to Samuel, Ceesse thou not to crye for vs to oure Lord God, that he saue vs fro the `hoond of Filisteis.
At sinabi ng mga anak ni Israel kay Samuel, Huwag kang tumigil ng kadadalangin sa Panginoon nating Dios, ng dahil sa atin, upang iligtas niya tayo sa kamay ng mga Filisteo.
9 Forsothe Samuel took o soukynge lomb, and offride that hool in to brent sacrifice to the Lord. And Samuel criede to the Lord for Israel; and the Lord herde hym.
At kumuha si Samuel ng isang korderong pasusuhin, at inihandog na pinaka buong handog na susunugin sa Panginoon: at dumaing si Samuel sa Panginoon dahil sa Israel; at ang Panginoon ay sumagot sa kaniya.
10 Forsothe it was doon, whanne Samuel offryde brent sacrifice, that Filisteis bigunnen batel ayens Israel. Sotheli the Lord thundride with greet thundur in that dai on Filisteis, and made hem aferd; and thei weren slayn of the sones of Israel.
At samantalang si Samuel ay naghahandog ng handog na susunugin, ay lumapit ang mga Filisteo upang makipagbaka laban sa Israel; nguni't ang Panginoon ay nagpakulog ng isang malakas na kulog nang araw na yaon sa mga Filisteo, at nilito sila; at sila'y nangabuwal sa harap ng Israel.
11 And the sones of Israel yeden out of Masphat, and pursueden Filisteis, and smytiden hem `til to the place that was vndur Bethachar.
At ang mga lalake sa Israel ay nagsilabas sa Mizpa, at hinabol ang mga Filisteo, at sinaktan sila, hanggang sa nagsidating sila sa Beth-car.
12 Forsothe Samuel took o stoon, and puttide it bitwixe Masphat, and bitwixe Sen; and he clepide the name of that place The stoon of help. And he seide, Hidir to the Lord helpide vs.
Nang magkagayo'y kumuha si Samuel ng isang bato, at inilagay sa pagitan ng Mizpa at ng Sen, at tinawag ang pangalan niyaon na Ebenezer, na sinasabi, Hanggang dito'y tinulungan tayo ng Panginoon.
13 And Filisteis weren maad low, and addiden no more to come in to the termes of Israel. And so the `hond of the Lord was maad on Filisteis in alle the daies of Samuel.
Sa gayo'y nagsisuko ang mga Filisteo, at hindi na sila pumasok pa sa hangganan ng Israel: at ang kamay ng Panginoon ay laban sa Filisteo lahat ng mga araw ni Samuel.
14 And the citees whiche the Filisteis token fro Israel, weren yoldun to Israel, fro Accaron `til to Geth and `hise termes; and the Lord delyuerede Israel fro the hond of Filisteis; and pees was bitwixe Israel and Ammorrey.
At ang mga bayan na sinakop ng mga Filisteo sa Israel ay nasauli sa Israel, mula sa Ecron hanggang sa Gath; at ang mga hangganan niyaon ay pinapaging laya ng Israel sa kamay ng mga Filisteo. At nagkaroon ng kapayapaan sa pagitan ng Israel at ng mga Amorrheo.
15 Also Samuel demyde Israel in alle the daies of his lijf, that is, `til to the ordeynyng `and confermyng of Saul;
At hinatulan ni Samuel ang Israel lahat ng mga araw ng kaniyang buhay.
16 and he yede bi `alle yeeris, and cumpasside Bethel, and Galgal, and Masphat, and he demyde Israel in the forseid places.
At siya'y naparoon na lumigid taon-taon sa Beth-el, at sa Gilgal, at sa Mizpa; at hinatulan niya ang Israel sa lahat ng mga dakong yaon.
17 And he turnede ayen in to Ramatha, for his hows was there; and he demyde Israel there, and he bildide there also an auter to the Lord.
At ang kaniyang balik ay sa Rama, sapagka't nandoon ang kaniyang bahay; at doo'y hinatulan niya ang Israel: at siya'y nagtayo roon ng isang dambana sa Panginoon.
