< 1 Samuel 16 >

1 And the Lord seide to Samuel, Hou long biweilist thou Saul, sithen Y castide hym awey, that he regne not on Israel; fille thin horn with oile, and come, that Y sende thee to Ysay of Bethleem; for among hise sones Y haue purueide a king to me.
Hoe t’Iehovà amy Samoele: Pak’ombia t’ie mbe handala i Saole kanao fa nadòko tsy ho mpanjaka’ Israele ka? lipolipò menake i tsifa’oy le akia, fa hiraheko mb’am’ Iisay nte-Betlekheme mb’eo fa nijoboñeko mpanjaka ho ahy ty raik’ amo ana’eo.
2 And Samuel seide, Hou schal Y go? for Saul schal here, and he schal sle me. And the Lord seide, Thou schalt take a calf of the droue in thi hond, and thou schalt seye, Y cam to make sacrifice to the Lord.
Le hoe t’i Samoele, Akore ty handenàko mb’eo? ke ho rendre’ i Saole, hañohofa’e loza. Le hoe t’Iehovà. Andeso tamana vaho anò ty hoe: Pok’ atoy iraho hanao soroñe am’ Iehovà.
3 And thou schalt clepe Ysay to the sacrifice, and Y schal schewe to thee, what thou schalt do; and thou schalt anoynte, whom euere Y schal schewe to thee.
Kanjio t’Iisay hiatrefa’e i soroñey, le hatoroko azo ze hanoe’o, vaho horiza’o ho ahy ty hitoñonako añarañe.
4 Therfor Samuel dide, as the Lord spak to hym; and he cam in to Bethleem, and the eldere men of the citee wondriden, and camen to hym, and seiden, Whether thin entryng is pesible?
Le nanoe’ i Samoele i tsinara’ Iehovày vaho niheo mb’e Betlekheme mb’eo. Le ninevenevetse amy fitotsaha’ey o androanavi’ i rovaio nanao ty hoe: An-kanintsiñe hao ty ivotraha’o atoy?
5 And he seide, It is pesible; Y cam to make sacrifice to the Lord; be ye halewid, and come ye with me, that Y make sacrifice. Therfor he halewide Ysai, and hise sones, and clepide hem to the sacrifice.
Le hoe re, Fañanintsiñe, pok’ eo iraho hisoroñe amy Iehovà; mañefera vatañe, naho mindreza amako mb’ amy soroñey; le nefera’e ka t’Iisay naho o ana’eo vaho nambara’e homb’ amy soroñey.
6 And whanne thei hadden entrid, he siy Eliab, and seide, Whether bifor the Lord is his crist?
Ie nihirike, le nitalare’e t’i Eliabe, nitsakore ty hoe; Toe añatrefa’ Iehovà eo i horìza’ey.
7 And the Lord seide to Samuel, Biholde thou not his cheer, nethir hiynesse of his stature; for Y castide hym awei, and Y demyde not bi `the siyt of man; for a man seeth tho thingis that ben opyn, but the Lord biholdith the herte.
Fe hoe t’Iehovà amy Samoele; Ko mandrèndreke ty lahara’e ndra ty haabo’ ty fijohaña’e, amy t’ie fa nadòko; toe tsy ami’ty fahaisaha’ ondatio ro ie, amy te mandrèndreke ty vinta’e alafe’e ondatio, vaho mandrendrek’ arofo t’Iehovà.
8 And Ysai clepide Amynadab, and brouyte hym bifor Samuel; which seide, Nether the Lord hath chose this.
Kinanji’ Iisay t’i Abinadabe vaho nampiarie’e añatrefa’ i Samoele. Fa hoe re, Tsy jinobo’ Iehovà toke.
9 Forsothe Isay brouyte Samma; of whom Samuel seide, Also the Lord hath not chose this.
Nampiarie’ Iisay ama’e ka t’i Samà, fa hoe re, toe tsy jinobo’ Iehovà ka toke.
10 Therfor Isai brouyte hise seuene sones bifor Samuel; and Samuel seide to Ysai, The Lord hath `not chose of these.
Aa le nampiarie’ Iisay añatrefa’ i Samoele ty ana-dahi’e fito, fa hoe t’i Samoele am’ Iisay, Tsy jinobo’ Iehovà o retoañe.
11 And Samuel seide to Isai, Whether thi sones ben now fillid? And Isai answeride, Yit `another is, a litil child, and lisewith scheep. And Samuel seide to Isai, Sende thou, and brynge hym; for we schulen not sitte to mete, bifor that he come hidur.
Le hoe t’i Samoele am’Iisay, Etoañ’ iaby hao o ana’oo? le hoe re: Mbe añe ty tsitso’e; toe miarak’ añondry. Le hoe t’i Samoele am’ Iisay: Ampañitrifo; fa tsy hivory tika ampara’ t’ie pok’eo.
12 Therfor Ysai sente, and brouyte hym; sotheli he was rodi, and fair in siyt, and of semely face. And the Lord seide, Rise thou, and anoynte hym; for it is he.
Aa le nampañitrife’e naho nampizilihe’e. Volovoloen-dre, niloeloe o maso’eo naho naràm-bintañe; vaho hoe t’Iehovà: Miongaha orizo, ie toke.
13 Therfor Samuel took the horn of oyle, and anoyntid hym in the myddis of his britheren; and the Spirit of the Lord was dressid in to Dauid fro that day `and afterward. And Samuel roos, and yede in to Ramatha.
Aa le rinambe’ i Samoele i tsifa ama’ menakey naho noriza’e añivo’ o longo’eo; vaho namparingatse i Davide henane zay ty Arofo’ Iehovà. Le niongake t’i Samoele nimb’ e Ramà mb’eo.
14 And so the Spirit of the Lord yede awei fro Saul, and a wickid spirit of the Lord trauelide Saul.
Ie amy zao, fa nienga i Saole ty Arofo’ Iehovà, vaho nañangara’ ty fañahy raty boak’ am’ Iehovà.
15 And the seruauntis of Saul seiden to hym, Lo! an yuel spirit of the Lord traueilith thee;
Le hoe o mpitoro’ i Saoleo ama’e: Eo hey, toe fañahy raty boak’ aman’ Añahare ty mañangatse azo henaneo;
16 oure lord the kyng comaunde, and thi seruauntis that ben bifore thee, schulen seke a man, that kan synge with an harpe, that whanne the yuel spirit of the Lord takith thee, he harpe with his hond, and thou bere esiliere.
ee te hafanto’ i talè’ay henaneo o mpitoro’e miatrek’ azeo, ty hitsoeke mpititike maro-taly mahimbañe; aa ie mañangats’ ama’o i fañahy raty boak’ aman’ Añaharey, le hititiha’e am-pità’e, hampanintsiñ’ azo.
17 And Saul seide to hise seruauntis, Puruey ye to me sum man syngynge wel, and brynge ye hym to me.
Le hoe t’i Saole amo mpitoro’eo: Paiao ho ahy henaneo t’indaty mahafititike, le endeso mb’amako mb’etoa.
18 And oon of the children answeride and seide, Lo! Y siy the sone of Ysai of Bethleem, kunnynge to synge, and `strongeste in myyt, and `a man able to batel, and prudent in wordis, and a feir man; and the Lord is with hym.
Aa hoe ty natoi’ ty ajalahy, Inao, nitrea’ay ty ana’ Iisay nte-Betlekheme, mpititike mahay, ie fanalolahy naho lahindefoñe, mahity am-pitoloñañe, ondaty soa vintañe vaho ama’e t’Iehovà.
19 Therfor Saul sente messangeris to Ysay, and seide, Sende thou to me Dauid thi sone, `which is in the lesewis.
Aa le nahitri’ i Saole am’Iisay ty hoe: Iraho mb’ amako mb’etoa i Davide ana’o mpiarak’ añondriy.
20 Therfor Isai took an asse `ful of looues, and a galoun of wyn, and a `kyde of geet; and sente bi the hond of Dauid his sone to Saul.
Le nandrambe borìke t’Iisay naho nampilogologoe’e mofo naho ty zonjòn-divay naho ty vik’ose vaho nampihitrife’e mb’ amy Saole mb’eo añamy Davide, ana’e.
21 And Dauid cam to Saul, and stood bifor hym; and Saul louyde hym greetli, and he was maad `his squyer.
Nimb’ amy Saole mb’eo t’i Davide naho nijohañe añatrefa’e; le vata’e nikokoa’e; vaho nanoe’e mpinday ty fikala’e.
22 And Saul sente to Isay, and seide, Dauid stonde in my siyt, for he foond grace in myn iyen.
Le nahitri’ i Saole am’ Iisay ty hoe: Ehe, iantofo te hijohañe añatrefako t’i Davide, ie nanjo fañisohañe am-pahatreavako.
23 Therfor whanne euer the wickid spirit of the Lord took Saul, Dauid took the harpe, and smoot with his hond, and Saul was coumfortid, and he hadde liytere; for the wickid spirit yede awey fro hym.
Aa ndra mb’ia nañangaram-pañahy boak’ aman’ Añahare t’i Saole le rinambe’ i Davide i marovaniy naho nititihe’e am-pità’e; le nitotòtse t’i Saole, vaho nanintsiñe fa nisitak’ ama’e i anga-dratiy.
