1 Peter 5
1 Therfor Y, an euene eldre man, and a witnesse of Cristis passiouns, which also am a comynere of that glorie, that schal be schewid in tyme to comynge; byseche ye the eldre men,
Ani akka maanguddoo akkuma isaanii tokkootti, akka dhuga baatuu dhiphina Kiristoosii fi akka nama ulfina mulʼachuuf jiru sana keessatti qooda qabu tokkootti akkana jedhee maanguddoota isin gidduu jiran sana nan gorsa;
2 that ben among you, fede ye the flok of God, that is among you, and puruey ye, not as constreyned, but wilfulli, bi God; not for loue of foule wynnyng,
karra hoolotaa Waaqaa kan tika keessan jala jiru eeguudhaan tiksoota taʼaa; kanas sababii dirqamtaniif utuu hin taʼin fedhiidhuma keessaniin akka Waaqni akka isin taatan barbaadutti, buʼaa nama qaanessu argachuuf utuu hin taʼin hawwii guddaa tajaajilaaf qabdaniin godhaa;
3 but wilfulli, nether as hauynge lordschip in the clergie, but that ye ben maad ensaumple of the floc, of wille.
karra hoolotaatiif fakkeenya taʼaa malee warra imaanaa isinitti kennaman sana humnaan hin bulchinaa.
4 And whanne the prince of scheepherdis schal appere, ye schulen resseyue the coroun of glorie, that may neuere fade.
Isinis yommuu hangafni tiksootaa mulʼatutti gonfoo ulfinaa kan miidhaginni isaa irraa hin badne argattu.
5 Also, ye yonge men, be ye suget to eldre men, and alle schewe ye togidere mekenesse; for the Lord withstondith proude men, but he yyueth grace to meke men.
Yaa dargaggoota, isinis akkasuma maanguddoota jalatti bulaa. Hundi keessanis tokkoo tokkoo keessaniif gad of qabiisa akka wayyaatti uffadhaa; “Waaqni of tuultotaan ni morma; warra gad of qabaniif immoo ayyaana kennaatii.”
6 Therfor be ye mekid vndir the myyti hoond of God, that he reise you in the tyme of visitacioun,
Kanaafuu akka Waaqni yeroo malutti ol isin qabuuf, harka isaa humna qabeessa sana jalatti gad of qabaa.
7 and caste ye al youre bisynesse in to hym, for to hym is cure of you.
Inni isiniif waan yaaduuf, yaaddoo keessan hunda isa irra kaaʼadhaa.
8 Be ye sobre, and wake ye, for youre aduersarie, the deuel, as a rorynge lioun goith aboute, sechinge whom he schal deuoure.
Warra of qaban taʼa; dammaqaas. Diiyaabiloos diinni keessan nama liqimsu barbaadee akkuma leenca aaduu nanaannaʼaatii.
9 Whom ayenstonde ye, stronge in the feith, witynge that the same passioun is maad to thilke brithirhode of you, that is in the world.
Sababii akka obboloonni keessan warri addunyaa guutuu keessa jiraatan dhiphina akkasii dhiphachaa jiran beektaniif amantiitti jabaadhaatii isaan mormaa.
10 And God of al grace, that clepide you in to his euerlastinge glorie, you suffrynge a litil, he schal performe, and schal conferme, and schal make sad. (aiōnios g166)
Waaqni ayyaana hundaa karaa Kiristoosiin gara ulfina isaa kan bara baraatti isin waame sun erga isin yeroo gabaabaaf dhiphattanii booddee inni mataan isaa guutuu isin taasisa; isin dhaaba; isin jabeessas. (aiōnios g166)
Bara baraa hamma bara baraatti humni isaaf haa taʼu. Ameen. (aiōn g165)
12 Bi Siluan, feithful brother to you as Y deme, Y wroot schortli; bisechinge, and witnessinge that this is the very grace of God, in which ye stonden.

13 The chirche that is gaderid in Babiloyne, and Marcus, my sone, gretith you wel.
Waldaan kiristaanaa isheen isin wajjin filatamtee Baabilon keessa jirtu sun nagaa isinii dhaamti; ilmi koo Maarqosis akkasuma nagaa isinii dhaama.
14 Grete ye wel togidere in hooli cos. Grace be to you alle that ben in Crist. Amen.
Dhungoo jaalalaatiin nagaa wal gaafadhaa. Isin warra kan Kiristoos taatan hundaaf nagaan haa taʼu.
