1 Kings 6
1 Forsothe it was doon in the fourthe hundrid and fourescore yeer of the goynge out of the sones of Israel fro the lond of Egipt, in the fourthe yeer, in the monethe Zio; thilke is the secounde monethe of the rewme of Salomon on Israel; he bigan to bilde an hows to the Lord.
Y fue en el año de cuatrocientos y ochenta, después que los hijos de Israel salieron de Egipto, en el cuarto año del principio del reino de Salomón sobre Israel, en el mes de Zif, que es el mes segundo, él comenzó a edificar la casa de Jehová.
2 Forsothe the hows which kyng Salomon bildide to the Lord, hadde sexti cubitis in lengthe, and twenti cubitis in breede, and thretti cubitis in heiythe.
La casa que el rey Salomón edificó a Jehová, tuvo sesenta codos de largo, y veinte de ancho, y treinta codos de alto.
3 And a porche was bifor the temple of twenti cubitis of lengthe, by the mesure of the breed of the temple; and the porche hadde ten cubitis of breede, bifor the face of the temple.
Y el portal delante del templo de la casa, de veinte codos de largo, delante de la anchura de la casa: y su anchura era de diez codos, delante de la casa.
4 And Salomon made in the temple `wyndows streyte withoutforth, and large with ynne.
E hizo ventanas a la casa, anchas por de dentro, y estrechas por de fuera.
5 And he bildide on the wal of the temple bildyngis of tablis bi cumpas, in the wallis of the hows, `bi cumpas of the temple, and of Goddis answeryng place; and he made sidis in the cumpas.
Y edificó también junto al muro de la casa un colgadizo al derredor, pegado a las paredes de la casa en derredor del templo y del oratorio, e hizo cámaras al derredor.
6 The bildyng of tablis, that was vndur, hadde fyue cubitis of breede; and the myddil bildyng of tablis was of sixe cubits of breede; and the thridde bildyng of tablis was hauynge seuene cubitis of breede. Sotheli he puttide beemys in the hous bi cumpas with outforth, that tho cleuiden not to the wallis of the temple.
El colgadizo de abajo era de cinco codos de ancho: y el del medio, de seis codos de ancho: y el tercero, de siete codos de ancho: porque por de fuera había hecho diminuciones a la casa al derredor, para no trabar de las paredes de la casa.
7 Forsothe whanne the hows was bildid, it was bildid of `stoonys hewid and perfit; and an hamer, and ax, and al thing maad of yrun, weren not herd in the hows, while it was in bildyng.
Y la casa cuando se edificaba, la edificaban de piedras enteras como las traían: de tal manera que cuando la edificaban, ni martillos ni hachas fueron oídos en la casa, ni ningún otro instrumento de hierro.
8 The dore of the myddil side was in the wal of the riythalf hows; and bi a vijs thei stieden in to the myddil soler, and fro the myddil soler in to the thridde soler.
La puerta del colgadizo del medio estaba al lado derecho de la casa: y subíase por un caracol al del medio, y del medio al tercero.
9 And Salomon bildide the hows, and endide it. Also Salomon hilide the hows with couplis of cedre,
Y labró la casa, y la acabó, y cubrió la casa de tijeras y de maderos de cedro puestos por orden.
10 and bildide a bildyng of tablis ouer al the hows, bi fyue cubitis of heiythe, and hilide the hows with `trees of cedre.
Y edificó también el colgadizo en derredor de toda la casa de altura de cinco codos: el cual trababa la casa con vigas de cedro.
11 And the word of the Lord was maad to Salomon, and seide,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a Salomón, diciendo:
12 This is the hows, which thou bildist; if thou gost in myn heestis, and dost my domes, and kepist alle my comaundementis, and goist bi tho, Y schal make stidefast my word to thee, `which word Y spak to Dauid, thi fadir;
Esta casa que tú edificas, si anduvieres en mis estatutos, e hicieres mis derechos, y guardares todos mis mandamientos, andando en ellos, yo tendré firme contigo mi palabra que hablé a David tu padre:
13 and Y schal dwelle in the myddis of the sones of Israel, and Y schal not forsake my puple Israel.
Y habitaré en medio de los hijos de Israel: y no dejaré a mi pueblo Israel.
14 Therfor Salomon bildide the hows, and endide it;
Así que Salomón labró la casa, y la acabó.
15 and he bildide the wallis of the hows with ynne with tablis of cedre, fro the pawment of the hows `til to the heiynesse of the wal, and `til to the couplis; and hilide with trees of cedre with ynne; and he hilide the pawment of the hows with tablis of beeche.
Y edificó las paredes de la casa por de dentro de tablas de cedro, vistiéndola de madera por de dentro, desde el solado de la casa hasta las paredes de la techumbre: y el solado cubrió de dentro de madera de haya.
16 And he bildide a wal of tablis of cedre of twenti cubitis at the hyndrere part of the temple, fro the pawment `til to the hiyere partis; and he made the ynnere hows of Goddis answeryng place, in to the hooli of hooli thingis.
Edificó también al cabo de la casa veinte codos de tablas de cedro desde el solado hasta las paredes, y labróse en la casa un oratorio que es el lugar santísimo.
17 Sotheli thilke temple bifor the doris of Goddis answering place was of fourti cubitis.
Y la casa tuvo cuarenta codos, a saber, el templo de dentro.
18 And al the hows with ynne was clothid with cedre, and hadde hise smethenessis, and hise ioynyngis maad suteli, and grauyngis apperynge aboue; alle thingis weren clothid with tablis of cedre, and outirli a stoon miyte not appere in the wal.
Y la casa era cubierta de cedro por de dentro, y tenía unas entalladuras de calabazas silvestres, y de botones de flores. Todo era cedro; ninguna piedra se veía.
19 Forsothe Salomon made Goddis answeryng place in the myddis of the hows, in the ynnere part, that he schulde sette there the arke of boond of pees of the Lord.
Y adornó el oratorio por de dentro en medio de la casa, para poner allí el arca del concierto de Jehová.
20 Sotheli Goddis answeryng place hadde twenti cubitis of lengthe, and twenti cubitis of breede, and twenti cubitis of hiyte; and he hilide, and clothide it with pureste gold; but also he clothide the auter with cedre.
Y el oratorio estaba en la parte de adentro, el cual tenía veinte codos de largo, y otros veinte de ancho, y otros veinte de altura; y vistiólo de oro purísimo: y el altar cubrió de cedro.
21 Also he hilide with pureste gold the hows bifor `Goddis answeryng place, and fastnyde platis with goldun nailis.
Así que vistió Salomón de puro oro la casa por de dentro: y la puerta del oratorio cerró con cadenas de oro, y vistiólo de oro.
22 No thing was in the temple, `which thing was not hilid with gold; but also he hilid with gold al the auter of Goddis answeryng place.
Y toda la casa vistió de oro hasta el cabo: y asimismo vistió de oro todo el altar que estaba delante del oratorio.
23 And he made in `Goddis answeryng place twey cherubyns of the trees of olyues, of ten cubits of heiyte;
Hizo también en el oratorio dos querubines de madera de oliva, cada uno de altura de diez codos.
24 o wynge of cherub was of fyue cubitis, and the tother wynge of cherub was of fyue cubitis, that is, hauynge ten cubitis, fro the heiynesse of `the o wynge `til to the hiynesse of the tother wynge.
La una ala del un querubín tenía cinco codos; y la otra ala del mismo querubín otros cinco codos: así que había diez codos desde la punta de la una ala hasta la punta de la otra.
25 And the secunde cherub was of ten cubitis in euene mesure; and o werk was in the twey cherubyns,
Asimismo el otro querubín tenía diez codos; porque ambos querubines eran de un tamaño, y de una hechura.
26 that is, o cherub hadde the hiythe of ten cubitis, and in lijk maner the tother cherub.
La altura del uno era de diez codos, y asimismo el otro.
27 And he settide cherubyns in the myddis of the ynnere temple; forsothe the cherubyns helden forth her wyngis, and o wenge touchide the wal, and the wynge of the secunde cherub touchide the tother wal; forsothe the othere wyngis in the middil part of the temple touchiden hem silf togidere.
Estos querubines puso dentro de la casa de adentro: los cuales querubines extendían sus alas, que el ala del uno tocaba la pared, y el ala del otro querubín tocaba la otra pared; y las otras dos alas se tocaban la una a la otra en la mitad de la casa.
28 And he hilide the cherubyns with gold,
Y vistió de oro los querubines.
29 and alle the wallis of the temple `bi cumpas; and grauyde with dyuerse grauyngis and smethenesse; and he made in tho wallys cherubyns, and palmes, and dyuerse peynturis, as stondinge forth and goynge out of the wal.
Y esculpió todas las paredes de la casa al derredor de diversas figuras, de querubines, de palmas, y de botones de flores, por de dentro y por de fuera.
30 But also he hilide with gold the pawment of the hows, withynne and with outforthe.
Y el solado de la casa cubrió de oro, de dentro y de fuera.
31 And in the entryng of `Goddis answering place he made twei litil doris of the trees of olyues; and he made postis of fyue corneris,
Y a la puerta del oratorio hizo puertas de madera de oliva, y el umbral y los postes eran de cinco esquinas.
32 and twei doris of the trees of olyues; and grauyde in tho the peynture of cherubyns, and the licnessis of palmes, and grauyngis aboue stondynge forth gretli; and he hilide tho with gold; and he hilide as wel the cherubyns, as palmes, and othere thingis with gold.
Las dos puertas eran de madera de oliva, y entalló en ellas figuras de querubines, y de palmas, y de botones de flores, y cubriólas de oro, y cubrió los querubines y las palmas de oro.
33 And in the entring of the temple he made postis foure cornerid of the trees of olyues;
De la misma forma hizo a la puerta del templo postes de madera de oliva cuadrados.
34 and he made twei doris of the trees of beech, ech ayens other; and euer either dore was double, and it was openyd holdynge it silf togidere.
Las dos puertas eran de madera de haya; y los dos lados de la una puerta eran redondos, y los otros dos lados de la otra puerta también redondos.
35 And he grauyde cherubyns, and palmes, and grauyngis apperynge greetli; and he hilide alle thingis with goldun platis, bi square werk at reule.
Y entalló en ellas querubines, y palmas, y botones de flores; y cubrió de oro ajustado las entalladuras.
36 And he bildide a large street with ynne, bi thre ordris of stoonys maad fair, and bi oon ordre of trees of cedre.
Y labró el patio de adentro de tres ordenes de piedras labradas, y de un orden de vigas de cedro.
37 The hows of the Lord was foundid in the fourthe yeer, in the monethe Zio;
En el cuarto año, en el mes de Zif, se pusieron los cimientos de la casa de Jehová:
38 and the hows was maad perfit in al his werk, and in alle vessels, ether `purtenauncis, in the eleuenthe yeer, in the monethe Zebul; thilke is the eiythe monethe; and he bildide that hows in seuene yeer.
Y en el undécimo año, en el mes de Bul, que es el mes octavo, la casa fue acabada con todas sus pertenencias, y con todo lo necesario. Y edificóla en siete años.
