1 Kings 22
1 Therfor thre yeeris passiden with out batel bitwixe Sirie and Israel.
अराम र इस्राएलको बिचमा युद्ध नभई तिन वर्ष बित्यो ।
2 Forsothe in the thridde yeer Josephat, king of Juda, yede doun to the kyng of Israel.
तेस्रो वर्षमा यहूदाका राजा यहोशापात इस्राएलका राजाकहाँ गए ।
3 And the kyng of Israel seide to hise seruauntis, Witen ye not, that Ramoth of Galaad is oure, and we ben necgligent to take it fro the hoond of the kyng of Sirie?
इस्राएलका राजाले आफ्ना अधिकारीहरूलाई भनेका थिए, “के रामोत-गिलाद हाम्रै हो भनी तिमीहरूलाई थाहा छ? तर अरामका राजाका हातबाट यसलाई लिन हामीले केही पनि गरिरहेका छैनौँ ।”
4 And he seide to Josaphat, Whether thou schalt come with me to fiyte in to Ramoth of Galaad?
त्यसैले तिनले यहोशापातलाई भने, “के तपाईं युद्ध गर्नलाई मसितै रामोत-गिलादमा जानुहुन्छ?” यहोशापातले इस्राएलका राजालाई जवाफ दिए, “म तपाईंजस्तै हुँ, मेरा मानिस तपाईंका मानिसजस्तै हुन् र मेरा घोडाहरू तपाईंका घोडाहरू जस्तै हुन् ।”
5 And Josophat seide to the kyng of Israel, As Y am, so and thou; my puple and thi puple ben oon; and my knyytis and thy knyytis `ben oon. And Josephat seide to the kyng of Israel, Y preie thee, axe thou to dai the word of the Lord.
यहोशापातले इस्राएलका राजालाई भने, “पहिले तपाईंले के गर्नुपर्छ भन्नाका लागि परमप्रभुको वचनबाट निर्देशन खोज्नुहोस् ।”
6 Therfor the kyng of Israel gaderide prophetis aboute foure hundrid men, and he seide to hem, Owe Y to go in to Ramoth of Galaad to fiyte, ethir to reste? Whiche answeriden, Stie thou, and the Lord schal yyue it in the hond of the kyng.
तब इस्राएलका राजाले चार सय अगमवक्तालाई जम्मा गरी तिनीहरूलाई भने, “म रामोत-गिलादमा युद्ध गर्न जाऊँ कि नजाऊँ? तिनीहरूले जवाफ दिए, “आक्रमण गर्नुहोस्, किनकि परमप्रभुले यो राजाका हातमा सुम्पिदिनुहुने छ ।”
7 Forsothe Josephat seide, Is not here ony profete of the Lord, that we axe bi hym?
तर यहोशापातले भने, “के यहाँ परमप्रभुका अर्का कुनै अगमवक्ता छैनन् जसबाट हामीले सल्लाह लिन सक्छौँ?”
8 And the kyng of Israel seide to Josephat, O man, Mychee, sone of Hiemla, is left, bi whom we moun axe the Lord; but Y hate hym, for he prophesieth not good to me, but yuel. To whome Josephat seide, Kyng, spek thou not so.
इस्राएलका राजाले यहोशापातलाई भने, “एक जना मानिस छन् जसबाट हामीले मदतको लागि परमप्रभुबाट सल्लाह लिन सक्छौँ । तिनी यिम्लाका छोरा मीकाया हुन्, तर म तिनलाई घृणा गर्छु किनकि तिनले मेरो बारेमा कुनै असल कुरोको भविष्यवाणी गर्दैनन्, केवल खरावी मात्र बोल्छन् ।” तर यहोशापातले भने, “राजाले यस्तो भन्नुहुँदैन ।”
9 Therfor the kyng of Israel clepide summe chaumburleyn, and seide to hym, Haste thou to brynge Mychee, sone of Hiemla.
तब इस्राएलका राजाले एक जना अधिकारीलाई बोलाई तिनलाई हुकुम गरे, “ठिक अहिले नै इम्लाका छोरा मीकायालाई ल्याउनू ।”
10 Forsothe the kyng of Israel, and Josephat, kyng of Juda, saten, ech in his trone, clothid with kyngis ournement, in the large hows bisidis the dore of the yate of Samarie; and alle prophetis prophecieden in the siyt of hem.
इस्राएलका राजा आहाब र यहूदाका राजा यहोशापात राजकीय पोशाक पहिरेर सामरियाको मूल ढोकाको खुला ठाउँमा आ-आफ्नो सिंहासनमा बसिरहेका थिए, र सबै अगमवक्ताले तिनीहरूका सामु अगमवाणी बोल्दै थिए ।
11 Also Sedechie, sone of Chanaan, made to hym silf hornes of yrun, and seide, The Lord God seith these thingis, With these thou schalt scatere Sirye, til thou do awei it.
केनानका छोरा सिदकियाहले चाहिँ फलामका सिङहरू बनाएका थिए । तिनले भने, “परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'अरामीहरू नष्ट नभएसम्म तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई यसैले दण्ड दिनू' ।”
12 And alle prophetis prophecieden in lijk maner, and seiden, Stye thou in to Ramoth of Galaad, and go thou with prosperite; and the Lord schal bitake thin enemyes in the hond of the kyng.
तब सबै अगमवक्ताले यसो भनी अगमवाणी बोले, “रामोत-गिलादमाथि आक्रमण गरी विजयी हुनुहोस् किनकि परमप्रभुले यो राजाको हातमा सुम्पिदिनुभएको छ ।”
13 Sotheli the messanger, that yede to clepe Mychee, spak to hym, and seide, Lo! the wordis of prophetis with o mouth prechen goodis to the kyng; therfor thi word be lijk hem, and speke thou goodis.
मीकायालाई बोलाउन गएका सन्देशवाहकले तिनलाई भने, “अब हेर्नुहोस्, अगमवक्ताहरूका वचनहरूले एउटै मुखले राजालाई असल कुरा भन्छन् । तपाईंको वचन तिनीहरूको जस्तै होस् र असल कुराहरू भन्नुहोस् ।”
14 To whom Mychee seide, The Lord lyueth, for what euer thing the Lord schal seie to me, Y schal speke this.
मीकायले जवाफ दिए, “परमप्रभुको नाउँमा शपथ खाएर म भन्दछु, कि परमप्रभुले मलाई जे भन्नुहुन्छ, म त्यही भन्ने छु ।”
15 Therfor he cam to the kyng. And the kyng seide to hym, Mychee, owen we go in to Ramoth of Galaad to fiyte, ether ceesse? To which kyng he answeride, Stie thou, and go in prosperite; and the Lord schal bitake it `in to the hond of the kyng.
जब तिनी राजाकहाँ आए राजाले तिनलाई भने, “मीकाया, हामी युद्धको लागि रामोत-गिलादमा जाऊँ कि नजाऊँ?” मीकायाले तिनलाई जवाफ दिए, “आक्रमण गर्नुहोस् र विजयी हुनुहोस् । परमप्रभुले यो तपाईंको हातमा सुम्पिदिनुहुने छ ।”
16 Forsothe the kyng seide to hym, Eft and eft Y coniure thee, that thou speke not to me, not but that that is soth in the name of the Lord.
तब राजाले तिनलाई भने, “परमप्रभुको नाउँमा अरू कुरा नभनी साँचो कुरा मात्र भन्नू भनी म तिमीलाई कति पटक शपथ खान लगाऊँ?”
17 And he seide, Y siy al Israel scaterid in the hillis, as scheep not hauynge a scheepherde; and the Lord seide, These han no lord, ech man turne ayen in to his hows in pees.
तब मीकायाले भने, “मैले गोठाला नभएका भेडाझैँ सारा इस्राएल पहाडहरूतिर तितर-बितर भएको देखेँ, र परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, 'तिनीहरूसित कुनै गोठालो छैन । हरेक मानिस शान्तिसित आफ्नै घरमा फर्कोस्' ।”
18 Therfor the kyng of Israel seide to Josaphat, Whethir Y seide not to thee, that he prophecieth not good to me, but euere yuel?
त्यसैले इस्राएलका राजाले यहोशापातलाई भने, “तिनले मेरो बारेमा असल कुरा नभई केवल विपत्तिको बारेमा अगमवाणी बोल्छन् भनी के मैले तपाईंलाई भनेको होइन र?”
19 Sotheli thilke Mychee addide, and seide, Therefore here thou the word of the Lord; Y siy the Lord sittynge on his trone, and Y siy al the oost of heuene stondynge nyy hym, on the riyt side and on the left side.
तब मीकायाले भने, “त्यसकारण परमप्रभुको वचन सुन्नुहोस्: मैले परमप्रभुलाई उहाँको सिंहासनमा विराजमान हुनुभएको अनि उहाँको दाहिने र देब्रे हातपट्टि उहाँनेर सबै स्वर्गीय सेना उभिरहेका देखेँ ।
20 And the Lord seide, Who schal disseyue Achab, kyng of Israel, that he stye, and falle in Ramoth of Galaad? And oon seide siche wordis, and another in anothir maner.
परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, 'आहाब रामोत-गिलादमा उक्लेर गई त्यहाँ त्यसको पतन होस् भन्नाका लागि त्यसलाई कसले बहकाउने छ?’ एउटाले एउटा कुरा भन्यो र अर्कोचाहिँले अर्कै कुरा भन्यो ।
21 Sotheli a spirit yede out, and stood bifor the Lord, and seide, Y schal disseyue hym. To whom the Lord spak, In what thing?
तब एउटा आत्मा अगाडि बढी त्यो परमप्रभुको सामु उभियो । त्यसले भन्यो, 'म तिनलाई उक्साउने छु ।' परमप्रभुले त्यसलाई भन्नुभयो, 'कसरी?’
22 And he seide, Y schal go out, and Y schal be a spirit of leesyng in the mouth of alle hise prophetis. And the Lord seide, Thou schalt disseyue, and schalt haue the maystry; go thou out, and do so.
आत्माले जवाफ दियो, 'म बाहिर जाने छु, र तिनका सबै अगमवक्ताका मुखमा झुट बोल्ने आत्मा बन्ने छु ।' परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, 'तैँल त्यसलाई बहकाउने छस्, र तँ सफल पनि हुने छस् । अब जा र त्यसै गर् ।'
23 Now therfor, lo! the Lord yaf a spirit of leesyng in the mouth of alle prophetis that ben here; and the Lord spak yuel ayens thee.
त्यसैले अब हेर्नुहोस्, परमप्रभुले तपाईंका यी सबै अगमवक्ताका मुखमा झुट बोल्ने आत्मा हालिदिनुभएको छ, र परमप्रभुले तपाईंको लागि विपत्तिको घोषणा गर्नुभएको छ ।”
24 Forsothe Sedechie, sone of Canaan, neiyede, and smoot Mychee on the cheke, and seide, Whether the Spirit of the Lord forsook me, and spak to thee?
तब केनानका छोरा सिदकियाह माथि उक्लेर आई मीकायाको गालामा थप्पड हानेर भने, “तिमीसित बोल्न परमप्रभुका आत्मा मबाट कुनचाहिँ बाटो भएर जानुभयो त?”
25 And Mychee seide, Thou schalt se in that dai, whanne thou schalt go in to closet with ynne closet, that thou be hid.
मीकायाले भने, “हेर, तिमी भित्र कोठामा लुक्न जाँदा त्यस दिन तिमी आफैले देख्ने छौ ।”
26 And the kyng of Israel seide, Take ye Mychee, and dwelle he at Amon, prince of the citee, and at Joas, the sone of Amalech;
इस्राएलका राजाले आफ्ना अधिकारीलाई हुकुम दिए, “मीकायालाई समात्, अनि त्यसलाई सहरका शासक र मेरो छोरा योआशकहाँ लैजा ।”
27 and seie ye to hem, The kyng seith these thingis, Sende ye this man in to prisoun, and susteyne ye hym with breed of tribulacioun, and with watir of angwisch, til Y turne ayen in pees.
त्यसलाई भन्, ‘राजा भन्नुहुन्छः यो मानिसलाई झ्यालखानामा हाल्, र म सुरक्षितसाथ नफर्केसम्म त्यसलाई थोरै रोटी र थोरै पानी मात्र खुवाउनू' ।”
28 And Mychee seide, If thou schalt turne ayen in pees, the Lord spak not in me. And he seide, Here ye, alle puplis.
तब मीकायाले भने, “तपाईं सुरक्षितसाथ आउनुभयो भने परमप्रभुले मद्वारा बोल्नुभएको होइन ।” तब तिनले थपे, “हे सारा मानिस हो, यो कुरा सुन ।”
29 Therfor the kyng of Israel stiede, and Josaphat, kyng of Juda, in to Ramoth of Galaad.
त्यसैले इस्राएलका राजा आहाब र यहूदाका राजा यहोशापात रामोत-गिलादमा गए ।
30 Therfor the kyng of Israel seide to Josephat, Take thou armeris, and entre thou in to batel, and be thou clothid in thi clothis, that is, noble signes of the kyng. Certis the kyng of Israel chaungide hise clothing, and entride in to batel.
इस्राएलका राजाले यहोशापातलाई भने, “म भेष बद्लेर युद्धमा जाने छु, तर तपाईंले आफ्नो राजकीय पोशाक पहिरिनुहोस् ।” त्यसैले इस्राएलका राजाले भेष बद्ले, र तिनी युद्धमा गए ।
31 Sotheli the kyng of Sirie hadde comaundid to two and thritti princes of charis, and seide, Ye schulen not fiyte ayens ony man lesse, ethir more, no but ayens the kyng of Israel oonli.
अरामका राजाले आफ्ना रथहरूका बत्तिस जना सेनापतिलाई यसो भनी आज्ञा दिएका थिए, “साना-ठुला जोसुकैलाई आक्रमण नगर्नू । बरु, इस्राएलका राजालाई मात्र आक्रमण गर्नू ।”
32 Therfor whanne the princes of charis hadden seyn Josephat, thei suposiden that he was king of Israel, and bi feersnesse maad thei fouyten ayens hym.
जब रथहरूका सेनापतिहरूले यहोशापातलाई देखे तिनीहरूले भने, “निश्चय नै यिनी इस्राएलका राजा हुन् ।” तिनलाई आक्रमण गर्न तिनीहरू फर्कंदा यहोशापात चिच्च्याए ।
33 And Josephat criede; and the princis of charis vndurstoden, that it was not the king of Israel, and thei ceessiden fro hym.
तिनी इस्राएलका राजा होइनन् रहेछ भनी जब रथहरूका सेनापतिहरूले देखे तिनीहरू तिनको पिछा गर्नबाट फर्के ।
34 Sotheli sum man bente a bowe, and dresside an arowe in to vncerteyn, and bi hap he smoot the kyng of Israel bitwixe the lunge and the stomak. And the kyng seide to his charietere, Turne thin hond, and cast me out of the oost, for Y am woundid greuousli.
तर एक जना सेनापतिले जथाभावी काँड हाने, र त्यस काँडले इस्राएलका राजाको कवचको जोर्नीमा लाग्यो । तब आहाबले आफ्नो सारथीलाई भने, “फर्की, र मलाई युद्धबाट बाहिर लैजा, किनकि मलाई बेसरी चोट लागेको छ ।”
35 Therfor batel was ioyned in that dai, and the kyng of Israel stood in his chare ayens men of Sirie, and he was deed at euentid. Forsothe the blood of the wounde fletide doun in to the bothome of the chare.
त्यस दिन युद्ध झन् चर्कंदै गयो, र आफ्ना रथमा अडिएर राजाले अरामीहरूको सामना गरिरहे । साँझमा तिनी मरे । तिनको घाउबाट निस्केको रगतचाहिँ रथभित्रै बगिरहेको थियो ।
36 And a criere sownede in al the oost, before that the sunne yede doun, and seide, Ech man turne ayen in to his citee, and in to his lond.
तब सूर्य अस्ताउँदै गर्दा सेनाका बिचमा एउटा यस्तो आवाज फैलियो, “हरेक मानिस आ-आफ्नो सहरमा फर्केर जाओस्, र हरेक मानिस आ-आफ्नो बस्तीमा फर्केर जाओस् ।”
37 Forsothe the kyng was deed, and was borun in to Samarie; and thei birieden the kyng of Samarie.
यसरी राजा आहाब मरे, र तिनलाई सामरियामा लगी त्यहीँ नै गाडियो ।
38 And thei waischiden his chare in the cisterne of Samarie, and doggis lickiden his blood, and thei wayschiden the reynes, bi the word of the Lord whiche he hadde spoke.
तिनीहरूले रथलाई सामरियाको तलाउमा धोए, र परमप्रभुको वचनले घोषणा गरेझैँ कुकुरहरूले तिनको रगत चाटे (यहीँ नै वेश्याहरू नुहाउने गर्थे) ।
39 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Achab, and alle thingis whiche he dide, and the hows of yuer which he bildide, and of alle citees whiche he bildide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
के आहाबले गरेका अरू कार्यहरू, तिनले बनाएको हस्ती-हाडको महलसाथै सबै सहरहरूको विषयमा इस्राएलका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैनन् र?
40 Therfor Achab slepte with hise fadris, and Ocozie, his sone, regnede for hym.
यसरी आहाब आफ्ना पित्रहरूसित सुते, र तिनको ठाउँमा तिनका छोरा अहज्याह राजा भए ।
41 Forsothe Josephat, sone of Asa, bigan to regne on Juda in the fourthe yeer of Achab, kyng of Israel.
इस्राएलका राजा आहाबको चौथो वर्षमा आसाका छोरा यहोशापातले यहूदामाथि शासन गर्न थाले ।
42 Josephat was of fyue and thretti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede fyue and twenti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Azuba, douyter of Salai.
यहोशापातले शासन गर्न थाल्दा तिनी पैँतिस वर्षका थिए, र तिनले यरूशलेममा पच्चिस वर्ष राज्य गरे । तिनकी आमाको नाउँ अजूबा थियो, जो शिल्हीकी छोरी थिइन् ।
43 And he yede in al the weye of Asa, his fadir, and bowide not fro it; and he dide that, that was riytful in the siyt of the Lord. Netheles he dide not awey hiy thingis, for yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente encense in hiy places.
तिनी आफ्ना पिता आसाका मार्गमा हिँडे । तिनी तीबाट फर्केनन् । तिनले परमप्रभुको दृष्टिमा जे ठिक छ, त्यही गरे । तथापि डाँडाका थानहरू भने हटाइएनन् । मानिसहरूले डाँडाका थानहरूमा अझै पनि बलिदान चढाउँदै थिए, र धूप बाल्दै थिए ।
44 And Josephat hadde pees with the king of Israel.
यहोशापात इस्राएलका राजासित शान्तिमा रहे ।
45 Sotheli the residue of wordis of Josephat, and the werkis and batels, whiche he dide, whethir these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
के यहोशापातका अरू कार्यहरू, तिनले देखाएका शक्ति र कसरी तिनले युद्ध लडे भन्ने विषयमा यहूदाका राजाहरूको इतिहासको पुस्तकमा लेखिएका छैनन् र?
46 But also he took awey fro the loond the relikis of men turned in to wymmens condiciouns, that leften in the daies of Aza, his fadir.
तिनका पिता आसाको समयसम्म बाँकी रहेका झुटो धर्मसम्बन्धी वेश्याहरूलाई तिनले देशबाट हटाए ।
47 Nethir a kyng was ordeyned thanne in Edom.
एदोममा कुनै राजा थिएन, तर त्यहाँ सहायकले शासन गर्थ्यो ।
48 Forsothe king Josephat made schippis in the see, that schulden seile in to Ophir for gold, and tho myyten not go, for thei weren brokun in Asiongaber.
यहोशापातले समुद्रमा आवात-जावत गर्ने जहाजहरू बनाए । ती सुनको लागि ओपीरमा जानुपर्थ्यो, तर एस्योन-गेबेरमा ध्वंश भएको कारण ती जान सकेनन् ।
49 Thanne Ocozie, sone of Achab, seide to Josephat, My seruauntis go with thine in schippis.
तब आहाबका छोरा अहज्याहले यहोशापातलाई भने, “यी जहाजहरूमा मेरा अधिकारीहरूलाई तपाईंका अधिकारीहरूसँगै जान दिनुहोस् ।” तर यहोशापातले अनुमति दिएनन् ।
50 And Josephat nolde. And Josephat slepte with hise fadris, and was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid, his fadir; and Joram, his sone, regnede for hym.
यहोशापात आफ्ना पित्रहरूसित सुते, र तिनीहरूसितै आफ्ना पुर्खा दाऊदको सहरमा गाडिए । तिनको ठाउँमा तिनका छोरा यहोराम राजा भए ।
51 Forsothe Ocozie, sone of Achab, bigan to regne on Israel, in Samarie, in the seuenetenthe yeer of Josephat, kyng of Juda; and Ocozie regnede on Israel twei yeer.
यहूदाका राजा यहोशापातको सत्रौँ वर्षमा आहाबका छोरा अहज्याहले सामरियामा बसेर इस्राएलमाथि शासन गर्न थाले, र तिनले इस्राएलमाथि दुई वर्ष राज्य गरे ।
52 And he dide yuel in the siyt of the Lord, and yede in the wey of his fadir, and of his modir, and in the weie of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne.
तिनले परमप्रभुको दृष्टिमा जे खराब छ, त्यही गरे, र तिनका बुबाआमाको चालमा हिँडे अनि इस्राएललाई पाप गर्न लगाउने नबातका छोरा यारोबामको मार्गमा हिँडे ।
53 And he seruyde Baal, and worschipide hym, and wraththide the Lord God of Israel, bi alle thingis whiche his fadir hadde do.
तिनले आफ्ना पिताले गरेझैँ बालको सेवा गरे, त्यसको पुजा गरे अनि इस्राएलका परमेश्वर परमप्रभुलाई रिस उठाए ।
