1 Kings 21

1 Forsothe after these wordis, in that tyme, the vyner of Naboth of Jezrael, `that was in Jezrael, was bisidis the paleis of Achab, kyng of Samarye.

Karon human niadtong mga panahona, adunay usa ka parasan si Nabot nga taga-Jezreel didto sa Jezreel, duol sa palasyo ni Ahab, nga hari sa Samaria.

2 Therfor Achab spak to Naboth, and seide, Yyue thou to me the vyner, that Y make to me a gardyn of wortis, for it is nyy, and nyy myn hows; and Y schal yyue to thee a betere vyner for it; ethir if thou gessist it more profitable to thee, Y schall yyue the prijs of siluer, as myche as it is worth.

Nakigsulti si Ahab ngadto kang Nabot, nga nag-ingon, “Ihatag kanako ang imong parasan, aron himoon ko kining usa ka gulayan, tungod kay duol kini sa akong balay. Isip baylo niini, hatagan ko ikaw ug usa ka mas maayo nga parasan, o kung buot ka, bayaran ko ikaw ug kwarta sa kantidad niini.''

3 To whom Naboth answeride, The Lord be merciful to me, that Y yyue not to thee the eritage of my fadris.

Mitubag si Nabot ngadto kang Ahab, “Hinaot nga dili itugot ni Yahweh nga ihatag ko kanimo ang akong panulondon gikan sa akong mga katigulangan.''

4 Therfor Acab cam in to his hows, hauynge indignacioun, and gnastyng on the word which Naboth of Jezrael hadde spoke to him, and seide, Y schal not yyue to thee the eritage of my fadirs. And Achab castide doun him silf in to his bed, and turnede awei his face to the wal, and ete not breed.

Busa mipauli si Ahab ngadto sa iyang palasyo nga adunay kaligutgot ug kasuko tungod sa tubag nga gihatag kaniya ni Nabot nga taga-Jezreel sa dihang miingon siya nga, “Dili ko ihatag kanimo ang akong panulondon gikan sa akong mga katigulangan.'' Mihigda siya sa iyang higdaanan, gilingiw ang iyang nawong, ug nagdumili sa pagkaon sa bisan unsang pagkaon.

5 Forsothe Jezabel, his wijf, entride to hym, and seide to hym, What is this thing, wherof thi soule is maad sory? and whi etist thou not breed?

Miadto kaniya si Jezebel nga iyang asawa, ug miingon kaniya, ''Nganong hilabihan man ang kasubo sa imong kasingkasing, hinungdan nga wala ka mikaon?''

6 Which answeride to hir, Y spak to Naboth of Jezrael, and Y seide to hym, Yyue thi vyner to me for money takun, ethir if it plesith thee, Y schal yyue to thee a betere vyner for it. And he seide, Y schal not yyue to thee my vyner.

Mitubag siya kaniya, ''Nakigsulti ako kang Nabot nga taga-Jezreel ug miingon kaniya, 'Ihatag kanako ang imong parasan baylo sa kwarta, o kung makalipay kini kanimo, hatagan ko ikaw sa laing parasan nga imong mapanag-iya.' Unya mitubag siya kanako, 'Dili ko ihatag kanimo ang akong parasan.'''

7 Therfor Jezabel, his wijf, seide to hym, Thou art of greet auctorite, and thou gouernest wel Israel; rise thou, and ete breed, and be thou `pacient, ethir coumfortid; Y schal yyue to thee the vyner of Naboth of Jezrael.

Busa mitubag kaniya si Jezebel nga iyang asawa, ''Dili ba ikaw man ang nagdumala sa gingharian sa Israel? Bangon ug kaon; tugoti nga malipay ang imong kasingkasing. Kuhaon ko ang parasan ni Nabot nga taga-Jezreel alang kanimo.''

8 Therfor sche wroot lettris in the name of Achab, and seelide tho with the ryng of hym; and sche sente to the grettere men in birthe, and to the beste men, that weren in the citee of hym, and dwelliden with Naboth.

Busa nagsulat si Jezebel gamit ang ngalan ni Ahab, giselyohan niya kini sa iyang selyo, ug gipadala kini sa mga kadagkoan ug sa mga adunahan nga naglingkod uban kaniya sa ilang mga panagtigom, ug nagpuyo duol kang Nabot.

9 Sotheli this was the sentence of the lettre; Preche ye fastyng, and make ye Naboth to sitte among the firste men of the puple;

10 and sende ye priueli twei men, the sones of Belial, ayens hym, and sey thei fals witnessyng, Naboth blesside God and the kyng; and lede ye out hym, and stoon ye him, and die he so.

Pagbutang usab ug duha ka bakakon nga lalaki uban kaniya ug tugoti sila sa pagpamatuod batok kaniya, nga moingon, 'Gitunglo nimo ang Dios ug ang hari.''' Unya dad-a siya sa gawas ug batoha siya hangtod nga mamatay.

11 Therfor hise citeseyns, the grettere men in birthe, and the beste men that dwelliden with hym in the citee, diden as Jezabel hadde comaundid, and as it was writun in the lettris, whiche sche hadde sent to hem.

Busa ang kalalakin-an sa iyang siyudad, ang mga kadagkoan, ug ang mga adunahan nga namuyo sa iyang siyudad, nagbuhat sumala sa gihulagway ni Jezebel ngadto kanila, sumala sa nahisulat sa mga sulat nga iyang gipadala ngadto kanila.

12 Thei prechiden fastyng, and maden Naboth to sitte among the firste men of the puple;

Nagmantala sila pagpuasa ug gipalingkod si Nabot labaw sa katawhan.

13 and whanne twey men, sones of the deuel, weren brouyt, thei maden hem to sitte ayens hym, and thei, that is, as men of the deuel, seiden witnessyng ayens him bifor al the multitude, Naboth blesside God and the kyng; for which thing thei ledden hym with out the citee, and killiden him with stoonys.

Miabot ang duha ka bakakon nga mga lalaki ug milingkod sa atubangan ni Nabot; nagpamatuod sila batok kang Nabot atubangan sa katawhan, nga nag-ingon, ''Gitunglo ni Nabot ang Dios ug ang hari.'' Unya gidala nila siya pagawas sa siyudad ug gibato siya hangtod namatay.

14 And thei senten to Jezabel, and seiden, Naboth is stoonyd, and is deed.

Unya nagpadala ang mga kadagkoan ug pulong ngadto kang Jezebel, nga nag-ingon, “Gibato si Nabot ug patay na.''

15 Forsothe it was doon, whanne Jezabel hadde herd Naboth stonyd and deed, sche spak to Achab, Rise thou, take thou in possessioun the vyner of Naboth of Jezrael, which nolde assente to thee, and yyue it for money takun; for Naboth lyueth not, but is deed.

Busa sa dihang nadungog ni Jezebel nga gibato si Nabot ug namatay, miingon siya ngadto kang Ahab, ''Bangon ug panag-iyahi ang parasan ni Nabot nga taga-Jezreel, nga nagdumili sa pagbaligya kanimo niini, tungod kay dili na buhi si Nabot, apan patay na.''

16 And whanne Achab hadde herd this, that is, Naboth deed, he roos, and yede doun in to the vyner of Naboth of Jezrael, to haue it in possessioun.

Sa dihang nadunggan ni Ahab nga patay na si Nabot, mibangon siya aron sa pag-adto sa parasan ni Nabot nga taga-Jezreel ug gipanag-iyahan kini.

17 Therfor the word of the Lord was maad to Elie of Thesbi,

Unya miabot ang pulong ni Yahweh kang Elias nga taga-Tishbe, nga nag-ingon,

18 and seide, Rise thou, go doun in to the comyng of Achab, kyng of Israel, which is in Samarie; lo! he goith doun to the vyner of Naboth, that he haue it in possessioun.

''Bangon ug pakigkita kang Ahab nga hari sa Israel, nga nagpuyo sa Samaria. Anaa siya sa parasan ni Nabot, diin miadto siya aron sa pagpanag-iya niini.

19 And thou schalt speke to hym, and `thou schalt seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, Thou hast slayn, ferthermore and thou hast take in possessioun; and aftir these thingis thou schalt adde, In this place, wherynne doggis lickiden the blood of Naboth, thei schulen licke also thi blood.

Kinahanglan nga makigsulti ka kaniya ug ingna nga miingon si Yahweh, 'Mipatay ka ug mipanag-iya usab?' Ug sultihan nimo siya nga miingon si Yahweh, 'Sa dapit diin gitilapan sa mga iro ang dugo ni Nabot, tilapan usab sa mga iro ang imong dugo, oo, ang imong dugo.'''

20 And Achab seyde to Elie, Whether thou hast founde me thin enemy? Which Elie seide, Y haue founde, for thou art seeld that thou schuldist do yuel in the siyt of the Lord.

Miingon si Ahab ngadto kang Eliseo, ''Nakit-an mo ba ako, akong kaaway?” Mitubag si Elias, ''Nakit-an ko ikaw, tungod kay gibaligya mo man ang imong kaugalingon aron sa pagbuhat ug daotan sa panan-aw ni Yahweh.

21 Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal brynge yn on thee yuel, and Y schal kitte awey thin hyndrere thingis, and Y schal sle of Achab a pissere to the wal, and prisoned, and the laste in Israel;

Miingon si Yahweh niini kanimo: 'Tan-awa, padad-an ko ikaw ug katalagman ug laglagon ko sa hingpit ug patyon gikan kanimo ang matag batang lalaki, ulipon ug gawasnon nga lalaki sa Israel.

22 and Y schal yyue thin hows as the hows of Jeroboam, sone of Naboth, and as the hows of Baasa, sone of Ahia; for thou didist to excite me to wrathfulnesse, and madist Israel to do synne.

Himoon ko ang imong pamilya nga mahisama sa pamilya ni Jeroboam nga anak nga lalaki ni Nebat, ug sama sa pamilya ni Baasha nga anak nga lalaki ni Ahia, tungod kay gipalagot mo ako ug gipangulohan ang Israel sa pagpakasala.'

23 But also the Lord spak of Jezabel, and seide, Doggis schulen ete Jezabel in the feeld of Jesrael;

Nagsulti usab si Yahweh mahitungod kang Jezebel, nga nag-ingon, 'Kaonon sa mga iro si Jezebel kilid sa paril sa Jezreel.'

24 if Achab schal die in the citee, doggis schulen ete hym; sotheli if he schal die in the feeld, briddis of the eyr schulen ete hym.

Si bisan kinsa nga nahisakop kang Ahab ug kadtong mangamatay sa siyudad kaonon sa mga iro. Ug si bisan kinsa nga mangamatay sa uma kaonon sa mga langgam sa kalangitan.”

25 Therfor noon other was sich as Achab, that was seeld to do yuel in the siyt of the Lord; for Jezabel his wijf excitide hym;

Walay usa nga sama kang Ahab nga mibaligya sa iyang kaugalingon aron sa pagbuhat sa daotan sa panan-aw ni Yahweh, nga sinugyotan ni Jezebel nga iyang asawa sa pagpakasala.

26 and he was maad abhomynable, in so myche that he suede the ydols that Ammorreis maden, which Ammorreis the Lord wastide fro the face of the sones of Israel.

Naghimo si Ahab ug ngil-ad nga mga buhat alang sa mga diosdios nga iyang ginasunod, sama sa gibuhat sa tanang Amorihanon, kadtong gipapahawa ni Yahweh sa atubangan sa katawhan sa Israel.

27 Therfor whanne Achab hadde herd these wordis, he to-rente his cloth, and hilide his fleisch with an hayre, and he fastide, and slepte in a sak, and yede with the heed cast doun.

Sa pagkadungog ni Ahab niining mga pulonga, gigisi niya ang iyang bisti ug nagsul-ob siya ug bisti nga sako ug nagpuasa, ug naghigda siya nga nagbisti ug sako ug nagmasulob-on pag-ayo.

28 The word of the Lord was maad to Elie of Thesbi, and seide,

Unya miabot ang pulong ni Yahweh kang Elias nga taga-Tishbe, nga nag-ingon,

29 Whethir thou hast not seyn Achab maad low bifor me? Therfor for he is maad low for the cause of me, Y schal not brynge yn yuel in hise daies, but in the daies of his sone Y schal bryng yn yuel to his hows.

''Nakita mo ba kung giunsa ni Ahab sa pagpaubos sa iyang kaugalingon nganhi kanako? Tungod kay iyang gipaubos ang iyang kaugalingon nganhi kanako, dili ko ipadala ang umaabot nga katalagman sa iyang mga adlaw. Sa panahon sa iyang anak nga lalaki padad-an ko ug katalagman ang iyang pamilya.
