Jeśli jednak żyjemy w Bożym świetle, to tworzymy wspólnotę, a przelana krew Jezusa Chrystusa, Syna Bożego, oczyszcza nas ze wszystkich grzechów.
8 If we seien, that we han no synne, we disseyuen vs silf, and treuthe is not in vs.
Jeśli twierdzimy, że nie popełniliśmy grzechu, oszukujemy samych siebie i rozmijamy się z prawdą.
9 If we knowlechen oure synnes, he is feithful and iust, that he foryyue to vs oure synnes, and clense vs from al wickidnesse.
Jeśli jednak wyznajemy swoje grzechy Bogu, On przebacza je nam i oczyszcza z wszelkich przewinień. Jest bowiem wierny i prawy.
10 And if we seien, we han not synned, we maken hym a liere, and his word is not in vs.
