1 John 4
1 Moost dere britheren, nyle ye bileue to ech spirit, but preue ye spiritis, if thei ben of God; for many false prophetis wenten out in to the world.
Abaagalwa, temukkirizanga buli myoyo, naye musookenga okugyetegereza mulabe obanga givudde eri Katonda, kubanga kaakano waliwo bannabbi ab’obulimba bangi mu nsi.
2 In this thing the spirit of God is knowun; ech spirit that knowlechith that Jhesu Crist hath come in fleisch, is of God;
Eno y’engeri gye tutegeeramu Mwoyo wa Katonda: buli ayatula nti Yesu Kristo yafuuka omubiri, ng’ava eri Katonda, oyo y’alina Mwoyo wa Katonda.
3 and ech spirit that fordoith Jhesu, is not of God. And this is antecrist, of whom ye herden, that he cometh; and riyt now he is in the world.
Naye buli mwoyo ogutayatula Yesu nga teguvudde eri Katonda. Ogwo gwe mwoyo ogw’Omulabe wa Kristo, gwe mwawulira nti ajja mu nsi, era amaze okutuuka.
4 Ye, litle sones, ben of God, and ye han ouercome hym; for he that is in you is more, than he that is in the world.
Mmwe, abaana abaagalwa, muli ba Katonda era mumaze okuwangula, kubanga oyo ali mu mmwe wa maanyi okusinga oyo ali mu nsi.
5 Thei ben of the world, therfor thei speken of the world, and the world herith hem.
Bo ba nsi era boogera bya nsi, era abantu b’ensi kyebava babawuliriza.
6 We ben of God; he that knowith God, herith vs; he that is not of God, herith not vs. In this thing we knowen the spirit of treuthe, and the spirit of errour.
Naye ffe tuli bantu ba Katonda, era buli amanyi Katonda atuwuliriza; atali wa Katonda tatuwuliriza. Eyo y’engeri gye tusobola okwawulamu omwoyo ogw’amazima n’omwoyo ogw’obulimba.
7 Moost dere britheren, loue we togidere, for charite is of God; and ech that loueth his brother, is borun of God, and knowith God.
Abaagalwa, twagalanenga, kubanga okwagala kuva eri Katonda, era buli alina okwagala mwana wa Katonda, era amanyi Katonda.
8 He that loueth not, knowith not God; for God is charite.
Naye buli atalina kwagala tamanyi Katonda, kubanga Katonda kwagala.
9 In this thing the charite of God apperide in vs, for God sente hise oon bigetun sone in to the world, that we lyue bi hym.
Katonda yatulaga okwagala kwe, bwe yatuma mu nsi Omwana we omu yekka bw’ati, tulyoke tube abalamu ku bw’oyo.
10 In this thing is charite, not as we hadden loued God, but for he firste louede vs, and sente hise sone foryyuenesse for oure synnes.
Mu kino mwe tutegeerera ddala okwagala kwennyini, kubanga teyakikola lwa kuba nti ffe twali twagala Katonda, naye ye yennyini ye yatwagala, n’awaayo Omwana we ng’omutango olw’ebibi byaffe.
11 Ye moost dere britheren, if God louede vs, we owen to loue ech other.
Kale abaagalwa, nga Katonda bwe yatwagala bw’atyo naffe tuteekwa okwagalananga.
12 No man say euer God; if we louen togidre, God dwellith in vs, and the charite of hym is perfit in vs.
Tewali n’omu eyali alabye ku Katonda, naye bwe twagalana, Katonda abeera mu ffe, n’okwagala kwe ne kulabikira mu ffe.
13 In this thing we knowen, that we dwellen in hym, and he in vs; for of his spirit he yaf to vs.
Mu ekyo mwe tutegeerera nti Katonda ali mu ffe era naffe tuli mu Ye, olwa Mwoyo gw’atuwadde.
14 And we sayen, and witnessen, that the fadir sente his sone sauyour of the world.
Era ffe twamulaba n’amaaso gaffe, kyetuva tutegeeza nti Kitaffe yatuma Omwana we okuba Omulokozi w’ensi.
15 Who euer knowlechith, that Jhesu is the sone of God, God dwellith in him, and he in God.
Kale buli ayatula nti Yesu Mwana wa Katonda, nga Katonda ali mu ye era nga naye ali mu Katonda.
16 And we han knowun, and bileuen to the charite, that God hath in vs. God is charite, and he that dwellith in charite, dwellith in God, and God in hym.
Ffe tumanyi okwagala kwa Katonda era tukkiririza mu kwagala kwe okwo kw’alina gye tuli. Katonda kwagala, era buli abeera n’okwagala abeera mu Katonda, ne Katonda abeera mu ye.
17 In this thing is the perfit charite of God with vs, that we haue trist in the dai of dom; for as he is, also we ben in this world.
Bwe twagala bannaffe nga Kristo bwe yakola ng’ali mu nsi muno, tetulibaako kye tweraliikirira ku lunaku olw’okusalirako omusango.
18 Drede is not in charite, but perfit charite puttith out drede; for drede hath peyne. But he that dredith, is not perfit in charite.
Mu kwagala temuliimu kutya, kubanga okwagala okutuukiridde kumalawo okutya; kubanga okutya kulimu okubonerezebwa, na buli atya, aba tannatuukirira mu kwagala.
19 Therfor loue we God, for he louede vs bifore.
Tulina okwagala kubanga Ye ye yasooka okutwagala.
20 If ony man seith, that `Y loue God, and hatith his brother, he is a liere. For he that loueth not his brothir, which he seeth, hou mai he loue God, whom he seeth not?
Omuntu yenna bw’agamba nti, “Njagala Katonda,” naye n’akyawa muganda we, omuntu oyo mulimba. Kubanga buli atayagala muganda we gw’alabako, tasobola kwagala Katonda gw’atalabangako.
21 And we han this comaundement of God, that he that loueth God, loue also his brothir.
Era Katonda yennyini yatulagira nti, “Buli ayagala Katonda ayagalenga ne muganda we.”
