1 John 3
1 Se ye what maner charite the fadir yaf to vs, that we be named the sones of God, and ben hise sones. For this thing the world knewe not vs, for it knew not hym.
Monhwɛ ɔdɔ a Agya no dɔ yɛn. Ne dɔ a ɔdɔ yɛn no mu den enti wɔfrɛ yɛn Onyankopɔn mma. Na ɛyɛ nokorɛ nso. Ne saa enti ewiase nnim yɛn ɛfiri sɛ ɛnnim Onyankopɔn.
2 Moost dere britheren, now we ben the sones of God, and yit it apperide not, what we schulen be. We witen, that whanne he schal appere, we schulen be lijk hym, for we schulen se hym as he is.
Me nuanom, seesei yɛyɛ Onyankopɔn mma, nanso deɛ daakye yɛbɛyɛ deɛ, yɛnnim. Nanso, yɛnim sɛ Kristo ba a, yɛbɛyɛ te sɛ ɔno, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛbɛhunu no sɛdeɛ ɔteɛ.
3 And ech man that hath this hope in hym, makith hym silf hooli, as he is hooli.
Obiara a ɔwɔ saa anidasoɔ yi wɔ Kristo mu no yɛ ne ho kronn sɛdeɛ Kristo yɛ kronn no.
4 Ech man that doith synne, doith also wickidnesse, and synne is wickidnesse.
Obiara a ɔyɛ bɔne no bu Onyankopɔn mmara so, ɛfiri sɛ, bɔne yɛ mmara so buo.
5 And ye witen, that he apperide to do awei synnes, and synne is not in hym.
Monim sɛ Kristo baeɛ sɛ ɔrebɛfa nnipa bɔne, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔno deɛ bɔne nni ne mu.
6 Ech man that dwellith in hym, synneth not; and ech that synneth, seeth not hym, nether knew hym.
Enti, obiara a ɔtena Kristo mu no nkɔ so nyɛ bɔne. Na obiara a ɔkɔ so yɛ bɔne no nhunuu no, na ɔnnim no.
7 Litle sones, no man disseyue you; he that doith riytwysnesse, is iust, as also he is iust.
Mommma obi nnaadaa mo, me mma. Obiara a ɔyɛ deɛ ɛtene no yɛ ɔteneneeni sɛdeɛ Kristo yɛ ɔteneneeni no.
8 He that doith synne, is of the deuel; for the deuel synneth fro the bigynnyng. In this thing the sone of God apperide, that he vndo the werkis of the deuel.
Deɛ ɔkɔ so yɛ bɔne no yɛ ɔbonsam dea, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔbonsam firi ahyɛaseɛ pɛɛ na ɔyɛɛ bɔne. Saa asɛm yi enti na Onyankopɔn Ba no baeɛ. Ɔbaeɛ sɛ ɔrebɛsɛe ɔbonsam nnwuma.
9 Ech man that is borun of God, doith not synne; for the seed of God dwellith in hym, and he may not do synne, for he is borun of God.
Obiara a ɔyɛ Onyankopɔn Ba no nkɔ so nyɛ bɔne, ɛfiri sɛ Onyankopɔn su wɔ ne mu, na ɛsiane sɛ Onyankopɔn yɛ nʼAgya enti, ɔntumi nkɔ so nyɛ bɔne.
10 In this thing the sones of God ben knowun, and the sones of the feend. Ech man that is not iust, is not of God, and he that loueth not his brothir.
Nsonsonoeɛ a ɛda Onyankopɔn mma ne ɔbonsam mma ntam ne sɛ, obi a ɔnyɛ papa anaa ɔnnɔ ne nua no nyɛ Onyankopɔn ba.
11 For this is the tellyng, that ye herden at the bigynnyng, that ye loue ech othere;
Nsɛm a motee ahyɛaseɛ no kyerɛ sɛ, monnodɔ mo ho.
12 not as Caym, that was of the yuele, and slouy his brother. And for what thing slouy he him? for hise werkis weren yuele, and hise brotheris iust.
Ɛnsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ sɛ Kain. Na ɔyɛ ɔbonsam dea. Enti ɔkumm nʼankasa ne nua. Adɛn enti na Kain kumm no? Ɛfiri sɛ, nneɛma a ɔyɛeɛ no yɛ bɔne, nanso ne nua no deɛ, ɔyɛɛ papa.
13 Britheren, nyle ye wondre, if the world hatith you.
Enti, anuanom, sɛ ewiasefoɔ tane mo a, mommma ɛnyɛ mo nwanwa.
14 We witen, that we ben translatid fro deeth to lijf, for we louen britheren. He that loueth not, dwellith in deth.
Yɛnim sɛ yɛafiri owuo mu aba nkwa mu. Yɛnim saa, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛdɔ yɛn nuanom.
15 Ech man that hatith his brother, is a man sleere; and ye witen, that ech mansleere hath not euerlastinge lijf dwellinge in hym. (aiōnios g166)

16 In this thing we han knowe the charite of God, for he puttide his lijf for vs, and we owen to putte oure lyues for oure britheren.
Yei na ɛma yɛhunu sɛdeɛ ɔdɔ teɛ. Kristo de ne nkwa maa yɛn. Ɛsɛ sɛ yɛn nso yɛde yɛn nkwa ma yɛn nuanom.
17 He that hath the catel of this world, and seeth that his brothir hath nede, and closith his entrailis fro hym, hou dwellith the charite of God in hym?
Sɛ obi yɛ ɔdefoɔ na ɔhunu sɛ biribi ho hia ne nua na wanhunu no mmɔbɔ a, ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na watumi aka sɛ ɔdɔ Onyankopɔn wɔ nʼakoma mu?
18 Mi litle sones, loue we not in word, nethir in tunge, but in werk and treuthe.
Me mma, ɛnsɛ sɛ yɛn dɔ no yɛ kasa hunu. Ɛsɛ sɛ ɛyɛ ɔdɔ turodoo a ɛnam nneyɛeɛ so da ne ho adi.
19 In this thing we knowen, that we ben of treuthe, and in his siyt we monesten oure hertis.
Yei na ɛbɛma yɛahunu sɛ yɛwɔ nokorɛ no. Yei na ɛbɛma yɛn akoma anya gyidie wɔ Onyankopɔn anim.
20 For if oure herte repreueth vs, God is more than oure hert, and knowith alle thingis.
Sɛ yɛn akoma bu yɛn fɔ mpo a, yɛnim sɛ Onyankopɔn so sene yɛn akoma na ɔnim biribiara.
21 Moost dere britheren, if oure herte repreueth not vs, we han trust to God;
Enti, anuanom adɔfoɔ, sɛ yɛn akoma ammu yɛn fɔ a, yɛwɔ akokoɔduru wɔ Onyankopɔn anim.
22 and what euer we schulen axe, we schulen resseyue of hym, for we kepen hise comaundementis, and we don tho thingis that ben plesaunt bifor hym.
Biribiara a yɛbisa no no, yɛn nsa ka, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛdi ne mmara so na yɛyɛ nʼapɛdeɛ nso.
23 And this is the comaundement of God, that we bileue in the name of his sone Jhesu Crist, and that we loue ech othere, as he yaf heeste to vs.
Ne mmara no ka sɛ, yɛnnye ne Ba Yesu Kristo no din mu na yɛnnodɔ yɛn ho sɛdeɛ Kristo hyɛɛ yɛn no.
24 And he that kepith hise comaundementis, dwellith in hym, and he in hym. And in this thing we witen, that he dwellith in vs, bi the spirit, whom he yaf to vs.
Obiara a ɔdi Onyankopɔn mmara so no te Onyankopɔn mu na Onyankopɔn nso te ne mu. Na yei na ɛma yɛhunu sɛ Onyankopɔn te yɛn mu. Yɛnim no saa ɛsiane Honhom a wama yɛn no enti.
