1 John 3
1 Se ye what maner charite the fadir yaf to vs, that we be named the sones of God, and ben hise sones. For this thing the world knewe not vs, for it knew not hym.
१आपल्याला देवाची मुले हे नाव मिळाले ह्यात देव पित्याने आपल्याला केवढे प्रीतीदान दिले आहे पाहा आणि आपण तसे आहोत ह्यामुळे जग आपल्याला ओळखीत नाही कारण त्यांनी त्यास ओळखले नाही.
2 Moost dere britheren, now we ben the sones of God, and yit it apperide not, what we schulen be. We witen, that whanne he schal appere, we schulen be lijk hym, for we schulen se hym as he is.
२प्रियांनो, आता आम्ही देवाची मुले आहोत आणि भविष्यकाळात आम्ही कसे असू हे आम्हास माहीत नाही. तरीही आम्हास माहीत आहे की, जेव्हा ख्रिस्त पुन्हा येईल, तेव्हा आम्ही त्याच्यासारखे असू, कारण तो जसा आहे तसे आम्ही त्यास पाहू.
3 And ech man that hath this hope in hym, makith hym silf hooli, as he is hooli.
३आणि ज्या प्रत्येकाने ही आशा ख्रिस्तावर ठेवली आहे, जसा ख्रिस्त शुद्ध आहे, तसा तो आपणाला शुद्ध करतो.
4 Ech man that doith synne, doith also wickidnesse, and synne is wickidnesse.
४प्रत्येकजण जो पाप करतो तो नियमशास्त्राचे उल्लंघन करतो कारण पाप हे नियमशास्त्राचे उल्लंघन आहे.
5 And ye witen, that he apperide to do awei synnes, and synne is not in hym.
५तुम्हास माहीत आहे की, पापे हरण करण्यासाठी तो प्रकट झाला; त्याच्याठायी पाप नाही.
6 Ech man that dwellith in hym, synneth not; and ech that synneth, seeth not hym, nether knew hym.
६जो कोणी त्याच्याठायी राहतो तो पाप करीत नाही. जो कोणी पाप करीतो त्याने त्यास पाहिले नाही आणि त्यास ओळखलेही नाही.
7 Litle sones, no man disseyue you; he that doith riytwysnesse, is iust, as also he is iust.
७प्रिय मुलांनो, तुम्हास कोणी फसवू नये. तो जसा नीतिमान आहे तसा ख्रिस्त नीतीने चालणाराही न्यायसंपन्न आहे.
8 He that doith synne, is of the deuel; for the deuel synneth fro the bigynnyng. In this thing the sone of God apperide, that he vndo the werkis of the deuel.
८जो पाप करतो तो सैतानाचा आहे कारण सैतान आरंभापासून पाप करीत आहे आणि सैतानाची कामे नष्ट करण्यासाठीच देवाचा पुत्र प्रकट झाला.
9 Ech man that is borun of God, doith not synne; for the seed of God dwellith in hym, and he may not do synne, for he is borun of God.
९जो कोणी देवापासून जन्मलेला आहे तो पाप करीत नाही कारण त्याचे बीज त्यांच्यामध्ये राहते. त्यामुळे तो पापात राहू शकत नाही कारण तो देवापासून जन्मला आहे.
10 In this thing the sones of God ben knowun, and the sones of the feend. Ech man that is not iust, is not of God, and he that loueth not his brothir.
१०ह्यावरून देवाची मुले व जी सैतानाची मुले उघड दिसून येतात. जो कोणी नीतिमत्त्वाने वागत नाही तो देवाचा नाही व जो आपल्या भावावर प्रीती करीत नाही तोही नाही.
11 For this is the tellyng, that ye herden at the bigynnyng, that ye loue ech othere;
११आपण एकमेकांवर प्रीती करावी, हा संदेश आपण आरंभापासून ऐकला तो हाच आहे.
12 not as Caym, that was of the yuele, and slouy his brother. And for what thing slouy he him? for hise werkis weren yuele, and hise brotheris iust.
१२काईन त्या दुष्टाचा होता व त्याने आपल्या भावाचा वध केला त्याच्यासारखे आपण नसावे. त्याने त्याचा वध कशासाठी केला? कारण काइनाची कृत्ये दुष्ट होती आणि तर त्याच्या भावाची कृत्ये न्यायी होती.
13 Britheren, nyle ye wondre, if the world hatith you.
१३बंधूनो, जर जग तुमचा द्वेष करते तर त्याचे आश्चर्य मानू नका.
14 We witen, that we ben translatid fro deeth to lijf, for we louen britheren. He that loueth not, dwellith in deth.
१४आपल्याला माहीत आहे की, आपण मरणातून जीवनात गेलो आहोत कारण आपण आपल्या बंधूवर प्रीती करतो. जो प्रीती करत नाही तो मरणात राहतो.
15 Ech man that hatith his brother, is a man sleere; and ye witen, that ech mansleere hath not euerlastinge lijf dwellinge in hym. (aiōnios g166)
१५जो कोणी आपल्या भावाचा द्वेष करतो, तो खुनी आहे आणि तुम्हास माहीत आहे की, खुनी मनुष्याच्या ठायी सार्वकालिक जीवन राहत नाही. (aiōnios g166)
16 In this thing we han knowe the charite of God, for he puttide his lijf for vs, and we owen to putte oure lyues for oure britheren.
१६ख्रिस्ताने आपल्यासाठी स्वतःचा जीव दिला. यामुळे प्रीती काय आहे ते आपल्याला समजते. म्हणून आपणदेखील आपल्या भावासाठी जीव दिला पाहिजे.
17 He that hath the catel of this world, and seeth that his brothir hath nede, and closith his entrailis fro hym, hou dwellith the charite of God in hym?
१७जर कोणाजवळ जगिक संपत्ती आहे आणि त्याचा भाऊ गरजवंत आहे हे पाहूनही त्याच्यावर दया करीत नाही तर त्याच्यामध्ये देवाची प्रीती राहते कसे म्हणू शकतो?
18 Mi litle sones, loue we not in word, nethir in tunge, but in werk and treuthe.
१८प्रिय मुलांनो, आपण शब्दाने किंवा जीभेने नव्हे, तर कृतीने व खरेपणाने प्रीती करावी.
19 In this thing we knowen, that we ben of treuthe, and in his siyt we monesten oure hertis.
१९यावरुन आपण ओळखू की आपण सत्याचे आहोत व त्याच्यासमोर आपल्या अंतःकरणाला धैर्य देऊ,
20 For if oure herte repreueth vs, God is more than oure hert, and knowith alle thingis.
२०कारण जर आपले अंतःकरण आपल्याला दोषी ठरवते, तर आपल्या अंतःकरणापेक्षा देव थोर आहे आणि तो सर्वकाही जाणतो.
21 Moost dere britheren, if oure herte repreueth not vs, we han trust to God;
२१प्रिय मित्रांनो, वाईट करण्याबद्दल जर आमची अंतःकरणे आम्हास दोष देत नाहीत तर देवाकडे जाण्यासाठी आम्हास धैर्य आहे.
22 and what euer we schulen axe, we schulen resseyue of hym, for we kepen hise comaundementis, and we don tho thingis that ben plesaunt bifor hym.
२२आणि आपण जे काही मागतो ते त्याच्यापासून आपल्याला मिळते कारण आपण त्याच्या आज्ञा पाळतो आणि त्यास जे आवडते ते करतो.
23 And this is the comaundement of God, that we bileue in the name of his sone Jhesu Crist, and that we loue ech othere, as he yaf heeste to vs.
२३तो आम्हास अशी आज्ञा आहे की, त्याचा पुत्र येशू ख्रिस्त ह्याच्या नावावर आम्ही विश्वास ठेवावा आणि त्याने आपल्याला आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे एकमेकांवर प्रीती करावी.
24 And he that kepith hise comaundementis, dwellith in hym, and he in hym. And in this thing we witen, that he dwellith in vs, bi the spirit, whom he yaf to vs.
२४जो देवाची आज्ञा पाळतो तो त्याच्यामध्ये राहतो आणि देव त्याच्यात राहतो आणि त्याने जो पवित्र आत्मा आपल्याला दिला, त्यावरून आपल्याला कळून येते की, तो आपल्याठायी राहतो.
