1 Corinthians 8
1 But of these thingis that ben sacrified to ydols, we witen, for alle we han kunnyng. But kunnyng blowith, charite edefieth.
เทวปฺรสาเท สรฺเวฺวษามฺ อสฺมากํ ชฺญานมาเสฺต ตทฺวยํ วิทฺม: ฯ ตถาปิ ชฺญานํ ครฺวฺวํ ชนยติ กินฺตุ เปฺรมโต นิษฺฐา ชายเตฯ
2 But if ony man gessith, that he kan ony thing, he hath not yit knowe hou it bihoueth hym to kunne.
อต: กศฺจน ยทิ มนฺยเต มม ชฺญานมาสฺต อิติ ตรฺหิ เตน ยาทฺฤศํ ชฺญานํ เจษฺฏิตวฺยํ ตาทฺฤศํ กิมปิ ชฺญานมทฺยาปิ น ลพฺธํฯ
3 And if ony man loueth God, this is knowun of hym.
กินฺตุ ย อีศฺวเร ปฺรียเต ส อีศฺวเรณาปิ ชฺญายเตฯ
4 But of metis that ben offrid to idols, we witen, that an idol is no thing in the world, and that ther is no God but oon.
เทวตาพลิปฺรสาทภกฺษเณ วยมิทํ วิทฺโม ยตฺ ชคนฺมเธฺย โก'ปิ เทโว น วิทฺยเต, เอกศฺเจศฺวโร ทฺวิตีโย นาสฺตีติฯ
5 For thouy ther ben summe that ben seid goddis, ethir in heuene, ether in erthe, as ther ben many goddis, and many lordis;
สฺวรฺเค ปฺฤถิวฺยำ วา ยทฺยปิ เกษุจิทฺ อีศฺวร อิติ นามาโรปฺยเต ตาทฺฤศาศฺจ พหว อีศฺวรา พหวศฺจ ปฺรภโว วิทฺยนฺเต
6 netheles to vs is o God, the fadir, of whom ben alle thingis, and we in hym; and o Lord Jhesu Crist, bi whom ben alle thingis, and we bi hym.
ตถาปฺยสฺมากมทฺวิตีย อีศฺวร: ส ปิตา ยสฺมาตฺ สรฺเวฺวษำ ยทรฺถญฺจาสฺมากํ สฺฤษฺฏิ รฺชาตา, อสฺมากญฺจาทฺวิตีย: ปฺรภุ: ส ยีศุ: ขฺรีษฺโฏ เยน สรฺวฺววสฺตูนำ เยนาสฺมากมปิ สฺฤษฺฏิ: กฺฤตาฯ
7 But not in alle men is kunnyng. For summen with conscience of ydol til now eten as thing offrid to idolis; and her conscience is defoulid, for it is sijk.
อธิกนฺตุ ชฺญานํ สรฺเวฺวษำ นาสฺติ ยต: เกจิททฺยาปิ เทวตำ สมฺมนฺย เทวปฺรสาทมิว ตทฺ ภกฺษฺยํ ภุญฺชเต เตน ทุรฺพฺพลตยา เตษำ สฺวานฺตานิ มลีมสานิ ภวนฺติฯ
8 Mete comendith vs not to God; for nether we schulen faile, if we eten not, nether if we eten, we schulen haue plente.
กินฺตุ ภกฺษฺยทฺรวฺยาทฺ วยมฺ อีศฺวเรณ คฺราหฺยา ภวามสฺตนฺนหิ ยโต ภุงฺกฺตฺวา วยมุตฺกฺฤษฺฏา น ภวามสฺตทฺวทภุงฺกฺตฺวาปฺยปกฺฤษฺฏา น ภวาม: ฯ
9 But se ye, lest perauenture this your leeue be maad hurtyng to sijke men.
อโต ยุษฺมากํ ยา กฺษมตา สา ทุรฺพฺพลานามฺ อุนฺมาถสฺวรูปา ยนฺน ภเวตฺ ตทรฺถํ สาวธานา ภวตฯ
10 For if ony man schal se hym, that hath kunnyng, etynge in a place where idols ben worschipid, whethir his conscience, sithen it is sijke, schal not be edified to ete thingis offrid to idols?
ยโต ชฺญานวิศิษฺฏสฺตฺวํ ยทิ เทวาลเย อุปวิษฺฏ: เกนาปิ ทฺฤศฺยเส ตรฺหิ ตสฺย ทุรฺพฺพลสฺย มนสิ กึ ปฺรสาทภกฺษณ อุตฺสาโห น ชนิษฺยเต?
11 And the sijk brothir, for whom Crist diede, schal perische in thi kunnyng.
ตถา สติ ยสฺย กฺฤเต ขฺรีษฺโฏ มมาร ตว ส ทุรฺพฺพโล ภฺราตา ตว ชฺญานาตฺ กึ น วินํกฺษฺยติ?
12 For thus ye synnyng ayens britheren, and smytynge her sijk conscience synnen ayens Crist.
อิตฺยเนน ปฺรกาเรณ ภฺราตฺฤณำ วิรุทฺธมฺ อปราธฺยทฺภิเสฺตษำ ทุรฺพฺพลานิ มนำสิ วฺยาฆาตยทฺภิศฺจ ยุษฺมาภิ: ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ไวปรีเตฺยนาปราธฺยเตฯ
