1 Corinthians 11
1 Be ye my foleweris, as Y am of Crist.
੧ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗੀ ਚਾਲ ਚੱਲੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਵਰਗੀ ਚਾਲ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
2 And, britheren, Y preise you, that bi alle thingis ye ben myndeful of me; and as Y bitook to you my comaundementis, ye holden.
੨ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰੀਤਾਂ ਸੌਂਪੀਆਂ, ਉਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ੍ਹੀ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋ।
3 But Y wole that ye wite, that Crist is heed of ech man; but the heed of the womman is the man; and the heed of Crist is God.
੩ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋ ਕਿ ਹਰੇਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਮਸੀਹ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ।
4 Ech man preiynge, or profeciynge, whanne his heed is hilid, defoulith his heed.
੪ਹਰੇਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਿਰ ਢੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਅਥਵਾ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
5 But ech womman preiynge, or profeciynge, whanne hir heed is not hilid, defoulith hir heed; for it is oon, as if sche were pollid.
੫ਪਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਔਰਤ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਰ ਢੱਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਅਥਵਾ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਮੁੰਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
6 And if a womman be not keuered, be sche pollid; and if it is foul thing to a womman to be pollid, or to be maad ballid, hile sche hir heed.
੬ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੇ ਔਰਤ ਸਿਰ ਨਾ ਢੱਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਲ਼ ਕਟਵਾ ਲਵੇ, ਜੇ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਲ਼ ਕਟਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਲਵੇ।
7 But a man schal not hile his heed, for he is the ymage and the glorie of God; but a womman is the glorie of man.
੭ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿਰ ਢੱਕ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰੰਤੂ ਔਰਤ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਹੈ।
8 For a man is not of the womman, but the womman of the man.
੮ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਆਦਮੀ ਔਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਰ ਔਰਤ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਈ।
9 And the man is not maad for the womman, but the womman for the man.
੯ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਔਰਤ ਲਈ ਉਤਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਰ ਔਰਤ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਤਪਤ ਹੋਈ।
10 Therfor the womman schal haue an hilyng on hir heed, also for aungelis.
੧੦ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖੇ।
11 Netheles nether the man is with outen womman, nether the womman is with oute man, in the Lord.
੧੧ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਔਰਤ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਔਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ।
12 Forwhi as the womman is of man, so the man is bi the womman; but alle thingis ben of God.
੧੨ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਔਰਤ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ।
13 Deme ye you silf; bisemeth it a womman not hilid on the heed to preye God?
੧੩ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੋ, ਭਲਾ, ਇਹ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਔਰਤ ਨੰਗੇ ਸਿਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੇ?
14 Nether the kynde it silf techith vs, for if a man nursche longe heer, it is schenschipe to hym;
੧੪ਕੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਵੀ ਆਪ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲ਼ ਲੰਮੇ ਰੱਖੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਹੈ?
15 but if a womman nurische longe heer, it is glorie to hir, for heeris ben youun to hir for keueryng.
੧੫ਪਰੰਤੂ ਜੇ ਔਰਤ ਲੰਮੇ ਵਾਲ਼ ਰੱਖੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵਾਲ਼ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੜਦੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
16 But if ony man is seyn to be ful of strijf, we han noon siche custom, nethir the chirche of God.
੧੬ਪਰ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਝਗੜਾਲੂ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਕੋਈ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਦਸਤੂਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ।
17 But this thing Y comaunde, not preisynge, that ye comen togidere not in to the betere, but in to the worse.
੧੭ਪਰੰਤੂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
18 First for whanne ye comen togidere in to the chirche, Y here that discenciouns ben, and in parti Y bileue.
੧੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਤਕਰੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੱਚ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
19 For it bihoueth eresies to be, that thei that ben prouyd, ben opynli knowun in you.
੧੯ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਪੰਥ ਵੀ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਵਾਨ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ।
20 Therfor whanne ye comen togidere in to oon, now it is not to ete the Lordis soper;
੨੦ਸੋ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਥਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਭੋਜ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
21 for whi ech man bifor takith his soper to ete, and oon is hungry, and another is drunkun.
੨੧ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਖਾਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਤਵਾਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ!
22 Whether ye han not housis to ete and drynke, or ye dispisen the chirche of God, and confounden hem that han noon? What schal Y seie to you? Y preise you, but here yn Y preise you not.
੨੨ਭਲਾ, ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ? ਜਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਆਖਾਂ? ਭਲਾ, ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
23 For Y haue takun of the Lord that thing, which Y haue bitakun to you. For the Lord Jhesu, in what niyt he was bitraied,
੨੩ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਈ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਭਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਰਾਤ ਉਹ ਫੜਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਲਈ।
24 took breed, and dide thankyngis, and brak, and seide, Take ye, and ete ye; this is my bodi, which schal be bitraied for you; do ye this thing in to my mynde.
੨੪ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੋੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੀ ਯਾਦਗੀਰੀ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ।
25 Also the cuppe, aftir that he hadde soupid, and seide, This cuppe is the newe testament in my blood; do ye this thing, as ofte as ye schulen drynke, in to my mynde.
੨੫ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਣ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਵੀ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਹੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵਾਂ ਨੇਮ ਹੈ। ਜਦ ਕਦੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਵੋ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਯਾਦਗੀਰੀ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ।
26 For as ofte as ye schulen ete this breed, and schulen drynke the cuppe, ye schulen telle the deth of the Lord, til that he come.
੨੬ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਦ ਕਦੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਪੀਓ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ।
27 Therfor who euere etith the breed, or drynkith the cuppe of the Lord vnworthili, he schal be gilti of the bodi and of the blood of the Lord.
੨੭ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਇਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਵੇ ਅਥਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਪੀਵੇ, ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
28 But preue a man hym silf, and so ete he of `the ilke breed, and drynke of the cuppe.
੨੮ਪਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਖੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਉਂ ਇਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਖਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਲੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪੀਵੇ।
29 For he that etith and drinkith vnworthili, etith and drinkith doom to hym, not wiseli demyng the bodi of the Lord.
੨੯ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਉਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
30 Therfor among you many ben sijke and feble, and manye slepen.
੩੦ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਗੀ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਮਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
31 And if we demyden wiseli vs silf, we schulden not be demyd;
੩੧ਪਰ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਚਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਜਾਂਚੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਂਦੇ।
32 but while we ben demyd of the Lord, we ben chastisid, that we be not dampnyd with this world.
੩੨ਪਰ ਜਦ ਜਾਂਚੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਤਾੜੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਜਾਈਏ।
33 Therfor, my britheren, whanne ye comen togidere to ete, abide ye togidere.
੩੩ਸੋ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਜਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਵੋ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰੋ।
34 If ony man hungrith, ete he at home, that ye come not togidere in to doom. And Y schal dispose othere thingis, whanne Y come.
੩੪ਜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਖ ਲੱਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਤਦ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂਗਾ।
