1 Chronicles 8
1 Forsothe Beniamyn gendride Bale his firste gendrid sone, Asbaal the secounde, Othora the thridde,
Or Benjamin engendra Balé son premier-né, Asbel le second, Ahara le troisième,
2 Naua the fourthe, and Rapha the fyuethe.
Nohaa le quatrième, et Rapha le cinquième.
3 And the sones of Bale weren Addoar, and Jera, and Abyud, and Abisue,
Et les fils de Balé furent Addar, Géra et Ahiud,
4 and Noemany, and Acte,
Abisué aussi, Naaman, et Ahoé;
5 but also Gera, and Sophupham, and Vram.
Mais encore Géra, Séphuphan et Huram.
6 These ben the sones of Haoth, princes of kynredis dwellynge in Gabaa, that weren translatid in to Manath.
Ceux-là sont fils d’Ahod, et princes des familles habitant à Gabaa, lesquels furent transférés à Manahath:
7 Forsothe Noaman, and Achia, and Jera, `he translatide hem, and gendride Oza and Abyud;
C’est-à-dire Naaman, et Achia, et Géra; lui-même, Ahod, les transféra, et il engendra Oza et Ahiud.
8 forsothe `Saarym gendride in the cuntrey of Moab, aftir that he lefte Vrym and Bara, hise wyues;
Mais Saharaïm engendra dans la contrée de Moab, après qu’il eut renvoyé Husim et Bara, ses femmes.
9 sotheli he gendride of Edes, his wijf, Jodab, and Sebia, and Mosa, and Molchon, also Jebus, and Sechia, and Maryna;
Il engendra donc de Hodès, sa femme, Joab, Sébia, Mosa et Molchom:
10 tho ben the sones of hym, prynces in her meynees.
Jéhus aussi, et Séchia, et Marma; ceux-là sont ses fils et princes dans leurs familles.
11 Forsothe Musyn gendride Achitob, and Elphaal.
Or Méhusim engendra Abitob et Elphaal.
12 Sotheli the sones of Elphaal weren Heber, and Musaam, and Samaath; he bildide Ono, and Lod, and hise villagis;
Mais les fils d’Elphaal sont Héber, Misaam, et Samad: celui-ci bâtit Ono, et Lod et ses filles,
13 forsothe Bara and Sama weren princes of kynredis dwellynge in Hailon; these dryueden awei the dwelleris of Geth;
Baria et Sama lurent princes des familles habitant à Aïalon: ce sont eux qui chassèrent les habitants de Geth.
14 and Haio, and Sesath, and Jerymoth,

22 and Heber, and Esiel, and Abdon,

23 and Zechry, and Canaan, and Anany, and Jalam,
Abdon, Zéchri, Hanan,
24 and Anathotia, and Jephdaia, and Phanuel;
Hanania, Aelam, Anathothia,
25 the sones of Sesac weren Sampsaray,
Jephdaïa et Phanuel, les fils de Sésac;
26 and Scoria, and Otholia, and Jersia,
Samsari, Sohoria, Otholia,
27 and Helia, and Zechri, the sones of Jeream.
Jersia, Elia et Zéchri, les fils de Jéroham.
28 These weren patriarkis and princes of kynredis, that dwelliden in Jerusalem.
Ce sont là les patriarches et les princes des familles qui ont habité à Jérusalem.
29 Forsothe in Gabaon dwelliden Abigabaon, and Maacha the name of his wijf;

30 and his firste gendrid sone Abdon, and Sur, and Cys, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,

31 and Geddo, and Haio, and Zacher, and Macelloth.
Et aussi Gédor, Ahio, Zacher et Macelloth;
32 Forsothe Marcelloth gendride Samaa; and thei dwelliden euene ayens her britheren in Jerusalem with her britheren.
Et Macelloth engendra Samaa; et ils habitèrent vis-à-vis de leurs frères, à Jérusalem, avec leurs frères.
33 Forsothe Ner gendride Cys, and Cys gendride Saul; forsothe Saul gendride Jonathan, and Melchisue, and Abynadab, and Isbaal.
Or Ner engendra Cis, et Cis engendra Saül. Mais Saül engendra Jonathan, Melchisua, Abinadab et Esbaal.
34 Sotheli the sone of Jonathan was Myphibaal; and Myphibaal gendride Micha.
Et le fils de Jonathan fut Méribbaal, et Méribbaal engendra Micha.
35 The sones of Micha weren Phiton, and Melech, and Thara, and Ahaz.
Les fils de Micha furent Phithon, Mélech, Tharaa et Ahaz,
36 And Ahaz gendride Joiada; and Joiada gendride Almoth, and Azimoth, and Zamry.
Et Ahaz engendra Joada, et Joada engendra Alamath, Azmoth et Zamri: or Zamri engendra Mosa;
37 Forsothe Zamri gendride Moosa, and Moosa gendride Banaa, whos sone was Raphaia, of whom was gendrid Elesa, that gendride Asel.
Et Mosa engendra Banaa, dont le fils fut Rapha, de qui est né Elasa, qui engendra Asel.
38 Sotheli Asel hadde sixe sones bi these names, Esricham, Bochru, Ismael, Saria, Abadia, Aman; alle these weren the sones of Asel.
Or Asel eut six fils de ces noms: Ezricam, Bocru, Ismaël, Saria, Obdia et Hanan: tous ceux-là furent fils d’Asel.
39 Forsothe the sones of Asa, his brothir, weren Vlam, the firste gendride sone, and Hus, the secounde, and Eliphales, the thridde.
Mais les fils d’Esec, son frère: Ulam, le premier-né, Jéhus, le second, et Eliphalet, le troisième.
40 And the sones of Vlam weren strongeste men, and beendynge a bouwe with greet strength, and hauynge many sones, and sones of sones, til to an hundrid and fifti. Alle these weren the sones of Beniamyn.
Et les fils d’Ulam furent des hommes très vigoureux et tendant l’arc avec une grande force; ayant beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, jusqu’à cent cinquante. Tous ceux-là sont les fils de Benjamin.
