1 Chronicles 28
1 Therfor Dauid clepide togidere alle the princes of Israel, the duykis of lynagis, and the souereyns of cumpenyes, that `mynystriden to the kyng, also the tribunes, and centuriouns, and hem that weren souereyns ouer the catel and possessiouns of the kyng, and hise sones, with `nurchis, and techeris, and alle the myyti and strongeste men in the oost of Jerusalem.
Și David a adunat pe toți prinții lui Israel, prinții triburilor și căpeteniile cetelor care au servit împăratului pe rând și căpeteniile peste mii și căpeteniile peste sute și administratorii peste toată averea și stăpânirea împăratului și a fiilor lui, cu ofițerii și cu războinicii și cu toți vitejii, la Ierusalim.
2 And whanne the kyng hadde rise, and `hadde stonde, he seide, My britheren and my puple, here ye me. Y thouyte for to bilde an hows, wherynne the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, and the stool of the feet of oure God schulde reste; and Y made redi alle thingis to bilde.
Atunci împăratul David s-a ridicat în picioare și a spus: Ascultați-mă, frații mei și poporul meu: Cât despre mine, am avut în inima mea să construiesc o casă de odihnă pentru chivotul legământului DOMNULUI și pentru sprijinul piciorului Dumnezeului nostru și am făcut pregătiri pentru construcție;
3 But God seide to me, Thou schalt not bilde an hows to my name, for thou art a man werriour, and hast sched blood.
Dar Dumnezeu mi-a spus: Să nu construiești o casă pentru numele meu, deoarece ai fost un bărbat de război și ai vărsat sânge.
4 But the Lord God of Israel chees me of al the hows of my fadir, that Y schulde be kyng on Israel with outen ende; for of Juda he chees princes, sotheli of the hows of Juda he chees the hows of my fadir, and of the sones of my fadir it pleside hym to chese me kyng on al Israel.
Totuși, DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel m-a ales pe mine înaintea întregii case a tatălui meu să fiu împărat peste Israel pentru totdeauna, fiindcă l-a ales pe Iuda să fie conducătorul; și din casa lui Iuda, casa tatălui meu; și printre fiii tatălui meu m-a plăcut pe mine pentru a mă face împărat peste tot Israelul;
5 But also of my sones, for the Lord yaf to me many sones, he chees Salomon, my sone, that he schulde sitte in the troone of the rewme of the Lord on Israel.
Și dintre fiii mei, (fiindcă DOMNUL mi-a dat mulți fii), l-a ales pe Solomon, fiul meu, să șadă pe tronul împărăției DOMNULUI, peste Israel.
6 And he seide to me, Salomon, thi sone, schal bilde myn hows, and myn auters; for Y haue chose hym to me in to a sone, and Y schal be to hym in to a fadir;
Și mi-a spus: Solomon, fiul tău, el va construi casa mea și curțile mele, căci l-am ales să fie fiul meu și eu voi fi tatăl său.
7 and Y schal make stidefast his rewme til in to with outen ende, if he schal contynue to do myn heestis and domes, as and to dai.
Mai mult, voi întemeia împărăția sa pentru totdeauna, dacă va rămâne statornic să împlinească poruncile mele și judecățile mele, ca în această zi.
8 Now therfor bifor al the cumpeny of Israel, `Y seie these thingis that suen in the heryng of God, kepe ye and seke ye alle the comaundementis of `youre Lord God, that ye haue in possessioun a good lond, and that ye leeue it to youre sones aftir you til in to with outen ende.
Și de aceea în fața ochilor întregului Israel, adunarea DOMNULUI; și în auzul Dumnezeului nostru, să păziți și să căutați toate poruncile DOMNULUI Dumnezeul vostru, ca să stăpâniți această țară bună și să o lăsați ca moștenire pentru copiii voștri după voi, pentru totdeauna.
9 But thou, Salomon, my sone, knowe the God of thi fadir, and serue thou hym with perfit herte, and wilful soule; for the Lord serchith alle hertis, and vndirstondith alle thouytis of soulis; if thou sekist hym, thou schalt fynde hym; forsothe if thou forsakist hym, he schal caste thee awei with outen ende.
Și tu, Solomon, fiul meu, să cunoști pe Dumnezeul tatălui tău și să îl servești cu o inimă desăvârșită și cu o minte binevoitoare, fiindcă DOMNUL cercetează toate inimile și înțelege toate închipuirile gândurilor, dacă îl cauți, se va lăsa găsit de tine; dar dacă îl părăsești, te va lepăda pentru totdeauna.
10 Now therfor, for the Lord chees thee, for to bilde the hows of seyntuarie, be thou coumfortid, and parforme.
Ia seama acum, fiindcă DOMNUL te-a ales să construiești o casă pentru sanctuar, fii tare și fă aceasta.
11 Forsothe Dauid yaf to Salomon, his sone, the discryuyng, `ether ensaumple, of the porche, and of the temple, and of celeris, and of the soler, and of closetis in pryuy places, and of the hows of propiciacioun, `that is, of mersi;
Atunci David i-a dat lui Solomon, fiul său, modelul porticului și a caselor acestuia și a trezoreriilor acestora și a cămărilor superioare ale acestora și a curților interioare ale acestora și a locului scaunului milei,
12 also and of alle thingis whiche he thouyte of the large places, and of chaumbris bi cumpas, in to the tresours of the hows of the Lord, and `in to the tresours of holi thingis,
Și modelul a tot ceea ce a avut prin duhul, a curților casei DOMNULUI și a tuturor cămărilor de jur împrejur, ale trezoreriilor casei lui Dumnezeu și a trezoreriilor lucrurilor dedicate;
13 and of the departyngis of preestis and of dekenes, in to alle the werkis of the hows of the Lord, and alle vessels of the seruyce of the temple of the Lord.
De asemenea pentru rândurile preoților și leviților și pentru toată lucrarea serviciului casei DOMNULUI și pentru toate vasele serviciului în casa DOMNULUI.
14 Of gold in weiyte bi ech vessel of the seruyce, and of siluer, for dyuersitee of vessels, and of werkis;
A dat, din aur, cântărit, pentru lucruri din aur, pentru toate uneltele oricărui fel de serviciu; argint de asemenea pentru toate uneltele de argint, cântărit, pentru toate uneltele de orice fel de serviciu;
15 but also to goldun candilstikis, and to her lanternes, he yaf gold, for the mesure of ech candilstike and lanternes; also and in silueren candilstikis, and in her lanternes, he bitook the weiyte of siluer, for the dyuersite of mesure.
Chiar greutatea pentru sfeșnicele de aur și pentru lămpile lor de aur, cântărit, pentru fiecare sfeșnic și pentru lămpile acestuia; și pentru sfeșnicele de argint, cântărit, deopotrivă pentru sfeșnic și de asemenea pentru lămpile acestuia, conform folosirii fiecărui sfeșnic.
16 Also and he yaf gold in to the bord of settyng forth, for the dyuersite of mesure, also and he yaf siluer in to othere siluerne boordis;
Și cântărit a dat aur pentru mesele pâinii punerii înainte, pentru fiecare masă; și la fel argint pentru mesele de argint;
17 also to fleisch hookis, and viols, and censeris of pureste gold; and to litle goldun lyouns, for the maner of mesure, he departide a weiyte in to a litil lyoun and a litil lioun; also and in to siluerne liouns he departide dyuerse weiyte of siluer.
De asemenea aur pur pentru cârligele de carne și boluri și cupe; și pentru vasele aurite a dat aur cântărit pentru fiecare vas; și la fel argint, cântărit, pentru fiecare vas de argint;
18 Forsothe he yaf pureste gold to the auter, wherynne encense was brent, that a lickenesse of the cart of cherubyns, holdinge forth wyngis, and hilynge the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, schulde be maad therof.
Și pentru altarul tămâierii, aurul curat, cântărit; și aur pentru modelul carului heruvimilor, care își întindeau aripile și acopereau chivotul legământului DOMNULUI.
19 Dauid seide, Alle thingis camen writun bi the hond of the Lord to me, that Y schulde vndirstonde alle the werkis of the saumpler.
Toate acestea, a spus David, DOMNUL m-a făcut să le înțeleg în scris, prin mâna lui asupra mea, toate lucrările acestui model.
20 And Dauid seide to Salomon, his sone, Do thou manli, and be thou coumfortid, and make; drede thou not `with outforth, nether drede thou `with ynne; for `my Lord God schal be with thee, and he schal not leeue thee, nether schal forsake thee, til thou performe al the werk of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord.
Și David i-a spus lui Solomon, fiul său: Fii tare și încurajează-te și fă acest lucru, nu te teme, nici nu te descuraja, fiindcă DOMNUL Dumnezeu, Dumnezeul meu, va fi cu tine; el nu te va lăsa, nici nu te va părăsi, până când vei fi terminat toată lucrarea pentru serviciul casei DOMNULUI.
21 Lo! the departyngis of prestis and of dekenes, in to al the werk of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord, schulen stonde niy thee; and thei ben redi, and bothe the princes and the puple kunnen do alle thi comaundementis.
Și, iată, rândurile preoților și leviților, ei vor fi cu tine pentru tot serviciul casei lui Dumnezeu; și vor fi cu tine pentru tot felul de meșteșuguri, fiecare bărbat iscusit și binevoitor, pentru fiecare fel de serviciu; de asemenea prinții și tot poporul va fi în întregime la porunca ta.
