1 Chronicles 26
1 Forsothe these weren the departingis of porteris; of the sones of Chore, Mellesemye was the sone of Chore, of the sones of Asaph.
Et quant aux départements des portiers; il y eut pour les Corites, Mésélémia fils de Coré, d'entre les enfants d'Asaph.
2 The sones of Mellesemie weren Zacharie the firste gendrid, Jedihel the secounde, Zabadie the thridde, Yathanyel the fourthe,
Et les enfants de Mésélémia furent, Zacharie le premier-né; Jédihaël le second; Zébadia le troisième; Jathniël le quatrième,
3 Aylam the fifthe, Johannan the sixte, Helioenay the seuenthe.
Hélam le cinquième, Johanum le sixième; Eliehohenaï le septième.
4 Forsothe the sones of Ebededom weren these; Semey the firste gendrid, Jozabab the secounde, Joaha the thridde, Seccar the fourthe, Nathanael the fyuethe,
Et les enfants de Hobed-Edom furent, Sémahja le premier-né, Jéhozabad le second, Joah le troisième, Sacar le quatrième, Nathanaël le cinquième,
5 Amyhel the sixte, Isachar the seuenthe, Pollathi the eiythe, for the Lord blesside hym.
Hammiel le sixième, Issacar le septième, Pehulletaï le huitième; car Dieu l'avait béni.
6 Forsothe to Semeye, his sone, weren borun sones, souereyns of her meynees; for thei weren ful stronge men.
Et à Sémahja son fils naquirent des enfants, qui eurent le commandement sur la maison de leur père, parce qu'ils étaient hommes forts et vaillants.
7 Therfor the sones of Semeye weren Othyn, and Raphael, and Obediel, and Zadab; and hise britheren, ful stronge men; also Helyu, and Samathie.
Les enfants donc de Sémahja furent, Hothni, et Réphaël, Hobed, et Elzabad, ses frères, hommes vaillants, Elihu et Sémacia.
8 Alle these weren of the sones of Obededom; thei and her sones and britheren, ful stronge men for to serue, two and sixti of Obededom.
Tous ceux-là étaient des enfants d'Hobed-Edom, eux et leurs fils, et leurs frères, hommes vaillants, et forts pour le service; ils étaient soixante-deux d'Hobed-Edom.
9 Sotheli of Mellesemeye, the sones and britheren, ful stronge, `weren eiytene.
Et les enfants de Mésélémia avec ses frères étaient dix-huit, vaillants hommes.
10 Forsothe of Oza, that is, of the sones of Merarie, Sechri was prince; for he hadde no firste gendrid, and therfor his fadir settide hym in to prince;
Et les enfants de Hoza, d'entre les enfants de Mérari, furent Simri le Chef; car quoiqu'il ne fût pas l'aîné, néanmoins son père l'établit pour Chef.
11 and Elchias the secounde, Thebelias the thridde, Zacarie the fourthe; alle these threttene weren the sones and britheren of Osa.
Hilkija était le second, Tebalia le troisième, Zacharie le quatrième; tous les enfants et frères de Hoza furent treize.
12 These weren departid in to porteris, that euere the princes of kepyngis, as also her britheren, schulden mynystre in the hows of the Lord.
On fit à ceux-là les départements des portiers, en sorte que les charges furent distribuées aux Chefs de famille, en égalant les uns aux autres, afin qu'ils servissent dans la maison de l'Eternel.
13 Therfor lottis weren sent euenly, bothe to the litle and to the grete, bi her meyneeis, in to ech of the yatis.
Car ils jetèrent les sorts autant pour le plus petit que pour le plus grand, selon leurs familles, pour chaque porte.
14 Therfor the lot of the eest bifelde to Semelie; forsothe the north coost bifelde bi lot to Zacarie, his sone, a ful prudent man and lernd;
Et ainsi le sort [pour la porte] vers l'Orient échut à Sélémia. Puis on jeta le sort pour Zacharie son fils, sage conseiller, et son sort échut [pour la porte] vers le Septentrion.
15 sotheli to Obededom and hise sones at the southe, in which part of the hows the counsel of the eldre men was;
Le sort d'Hobed-Edom échut [pour la porte] vers le Midi, et la maison des assemblées échut à ses fils.
16 Sephyma and Thosa weren at the west, bisidis the yate that ledith to the weie of stiyng, kepyng ayens kepyng.
A Suppim et à Hosa [pour la porte] vers l'Occident, auprès de la porte de Salleketh, au chemin montant; une garde [étant] vis-à-vis de l'autre.
17 Sotheli at the eest weren sixe dekenes, and at the north weren foure bi dai; and at the south also weren foure at the myddai; and, where the counsel was, weren tweyne and tweyne.
Il y avait vers l'Orient, six Lévites; vers le Septentrion, quatre par jour; vers le Midi, quatre aussi par jour; et vers [la maison] des assemblées deux de chaque côté.
18 And in the sellis, ethir `litle housis, of porteris at the west, weren foure in the weie, and tweyne bi the sellis.
A Parbar vers l'Occident, il y en avait quatre au chemin, [et] deux à Parbar.
19 These weren the departyngis of porteris, of the sones of Chore and of Merary.
Ce sont là les départements des portiers pour les enfants des Corites, et pour les enfants de Mérari.
20 Forsothe Achias was ouer the tresours of the hows of the Lord, and ouer the vessels of hooli thingis.
Ceux-ci aussi étaient Lévites; Ahija commis sur les trésors de la maison de Dieu, et sur les trésors des choses consacrées.
21 The sones of Leedan, the sone of Gerson; of Leedan weren the princis of meynees of Leedan, and of Gerson, and of Jehiel.
Des enfants de Lahdan, qui étaient d'entre les enfants des Guersonites; du côté de Lahdan, d'entre les Chefs des pères appartenant à Lahdan Guersonite, Jéhiëli.
22 The sones of Jehiel weren, Zethan, and Johel, his brother, ouer the tresours of the hows of the Lord,
D'entre les enfants de Jéhiëli, Zétham, et Joël son frère, commis sur les trésors de la maison de l'Eternel.
23 Amramytis, and Isaaritis, and Ebronytis, and Ezielitis.
Pour les Hamramites, Jitsharites, Hébronites, et Hoziëlites.
24 Forsothe Subahel, the sone of Gerson, sone of Moises, was souereyn of the tresour;
Et Sébuël fils de Guersom, fils de Moïse, était commis sur les autres trésors.
25 and his brother, Eliezer; whos sone was Raabia; and his sone was Asaye; his sone was Joram; and his sone was Zechry; but and his sone was Selemith.
Et quant à ses frères du côté d'Elihézer, dont Réhabia fut fils, qui eut pour fils Esaïe, qui eut pour fils Joram, qui eut pour fils Zicri, qui eut pour fils Sélomith.
26 Thilke Selemith, and his britheren, weren ouer the tresours of hooli thingis, whiche `Dauid the kyng halewide, and the princes of meynees, and the tribunes, and the centuriouns, and the duykis of the oost,
Ce Sélomith et ses frères furent commis sur les trésors des choses saintes que le Roi David, les Chefs des pères, les Gouverneurs de milliers, et de centaines; et les Capitaines de l'armée avaient consacrées;
27 of the batels, and of the spuylis of batels, whiche thei halewiden to the reparacioun and purtenaunce of the temple of the Lord.
Qu'ils avaient, dis-je, consacrées des batailles et des dépouilles, pour le bâtiment de la maison de l'Eternel.
28 Forsothe Samuel, the prophete, halewide alle these thingis, and Saul, the sone of Cys, and Abner, the sone of Ner, and Joab, the sone of Saruye; and alle halewiden tho thingis bi the hond of Salemyth, and of his britheren.
Et tout ce qu'avait consacré Samuël le voyant, et Saül fils de Kis, et Abner fils de Ner, et Joab fils de Tséruïa; tout ce, enfin, qu'on consacrait, était mis entre les mains de Sélomith et de ses frères.
29 Sotheli Chonenye was souereyn and hise sones to Isaaritis, to the werkis with outforth on Israel, to teche and to deme hem.
D'entre les Jitsharites, Kénania et ses fils [étaient employés] aux affaires de dehors sur Israël, pour être prévôts et juges.
30 Sotheli of Ebronytis, Asabie, and Sabie, and hise britheren, ful stronge men, a thousynde and seuene hundrid, weren souereyns on Israel biyende Jordan ayens the weste, in alle the werkis of the Lord, and in to the seruyce of the kyng.
Quant aux Hébronites, Hasabia et ses frères, hommes vaillants, au nombre de mille sept cents, [présidaient] sur le gouvernement d'Israël au deçà du Jourdain, vers l'Occident, pour tout ce qui concernait l'Eternel, et pour le service du Roi.
31 Forsothe Herie was prynce of Ebronytis, bi her meynees and kynredis. In the fourtithe yeer of the rewme of Dauid there weren noumbred and foundun ful stronge men in Jazer Galaad;
Quant aux Hébronites, selon leurs générations dans les familles des pères, Jérija fut le Chef des Hébronites. On en fit la recherche en la quarantième année du règne de David, et on trouva parmi eux à Jahzer de Galaad des hommes forts et vaillants.
32 and hise britheren, of strongere age, twei thousynde and seuene hundrid, princes of meynees. Sotheli `Dauid the kyng made hem souereyns of Rubenytis and Gaditis, and of the half lynage of Manasses, `in to al the seruyce of God and of the kyng.
Les frères donc de [Jérija], hommes vaillants, furent deux mille sept cents, issus des Chefs des pères; et le Roi David les établit sur les Rubénites, sur les Gadites, et sur la demi-Tribu de Manassé, pour tout ce qui concernait Dieu, et pour les affaires du Roi.
