1 Chronicles 23
1 Therfor Dauid was eld and ful of daies, and ordeynede Salomon, his sone, kyng on Israel.
Si David nga ay matanda na at puspos ng mga araw: at ginawa niyang hari si Salomon na kaniyang anak sa Israel.
2 And he gaderide togidere alle the princes of Israel, and the preestis, and dekenes;
At pinisan niya ang lahat na prinsipe ng Israel, pati ang mga saserdote at ng mga Levita.
3 and the dekenes weren noumbrid fro twenti yeer and aboue, and eiyte and thretti thousynde of men weren foundun.
At ang mga Levita ay binilang mula sa tatlongpung taon na patanda: at ang kanilang bilang, ayon sa kanilang mga ulo, lalake't lalake, ay tatlongpu't walong libo.
4 And foure and twenty thousynde men weren chosun of hem, and weren departid in to the seruyce of the hows of the Lord; sotheli of souereyns, and iugis, sixe thousynde;
Sa mga ito, dalawangpu't apat na libo ang nagsisitingin ng gawa sa bahay ng Panginoon; at anim na libo ay mga pinuno at mga hukom:
5 forsothe foure thousynde `porteris weren, and so many syngeris, syngynge to the Lord in orguns, whiche Dauid hadde maad for to synge.
At apat na libo ay tagatanod-pinto: at apat na libo ay mangaawit sa Panginoon na may mga panugtog na aking ginawa, sabi ni David, upang ipangpuri.
6 And Dauid departide hem bi the whilis of the sones of Leuy, that is, of Gerson, and of Caath, and Merary.
At hinati sila ni David sa mga hanay ayon sa mga anak ni Levi; si Gerson, si Coath, at si Merari.
7 And the sones of Gerson weren Leedan and Semeye.
Sa mga Gersonita: si Ladan, at si Simi.
8 The sones of Leedan weren thre, the prince Jehiel, and Ethan, and Johel.
Ang mga anak ni Ladan: si Jehiel na pinuno, at si Zetham, at si Joel, tatlo.
9 The sones of Semei weren thre, Salamyth, and Oziel, and Aram; these weren the princes of the meynees of Leedan.
Ang mga anak ni Simi: si Selomith, at si Haziel, at si Aran, tatlo. Ang mga ito ang mga pangulo sa mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang ni Ladan.
10 Forsothe the sones of Semeye weren Leeth, and Ziza, and Yaus, and Baria, these foure weren the sones of Semei.
At ang mga anak ni Simi: si Jahath, si Zinat, at si Jeus, at si Berias. Ang apat na ito ang mga anak ni Simi.
11 Sotheli Leeth was the formere, and Ziza the secounde; forsothe Yaus and Baria hadden not ful many sones, and therfor thei weren rikenyd in o meynee and oon hows.
At si Jahath ay siyang pinuno, at si Zinat ang ikalawa: nguni't si Jeus at si Berias ay hindi nagkaroon ng maraming anak; kaya't sila'y naging isang sangbahayan ng mga magulang sa isang bilang.
12 The sones of Caath weren foure, Amram, and Ysaac, Ebron, and Oziel.
Ang mga anak ni Coath: si Amram, si Ishar, si Hebron, at si Uzziel, apat.
13 The sones of Amram weren Aaron and Moyses; and Aaron was departid, that he schulde mynystre in the hooli thing of hooli thingis, he and hise sones with outen ende, and to brenne encense to the Lord bi his custom, and to blesse his name with outen ende.
Ang mga anak ni Amram: si Aaron at si Moises: at si Aaron ay nahiwalay, upang kaniyang ariing banal ang mga kabanalbanalang bagay, niya at ng kaniyang mga anak magpakailan man, upang magsunog ng kamangyan sa harap ng Panginoon, upang mangasiwa sa kaniya, at upang bumasbas sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang pangalan, magpakailan man.
14 Also the sones of Moyses, man of God, weren noumbrid in the lynage of Leuy.
Nguni't tungkol kay Moises na lalake ng Dios, ang kaniyang mga anak ay ibinilang na lipi ni Levi.
15 The sones of Moises weren Gerson and Elieser.
Ang mga anak ni Moises: si Gerson at si Eliezer.
16 The sones of Gerson; `Subuhel the firste.
Ang mga anak ni Gerson: si Sebuel na pinuno.
17 Sotheli the sones of Eliezer weren Roboya the firste, and othere sones weren not to Eliezer; forsothe the sones of Roboia weren multipliede ful miche.
At ang mga anak ni Eliezer: si Rehabia na pinuno. At si Eliezer ay hindi nagkaroon ng ibang mga anak; nguni't ang mga anak ni Rehabia ay totoong marami.
18 The sones of Isaar; `Salumuth the firste.
Ang mga anak ni Ishar: si Selomith na pinuno.
19 The sones of Ebron; `Jerian the firste, Amarias the secounde, Jaziel the thridde, Jethamaan the fourthe.
Ang mga anak ni Hebron: si Jeria ang pinuno, si Amarias ang ikalawa, si Jahaziel ang ikatlo, at si Jecaman ang ikaapat.
20 The sones of Oziel; `Mycha the firste, Jesia the secounde.
Ang mga anak ni Uzziel: si Micha ang pinuno, at si Isia ang ikalawa.
21 The sones of Merari weren Mooli and Musi. The sones of Mooli weren Eleazar, and Cys.
Ang mga anak ni Merari: si Mahali at si Musi. Ang mga anak ni Mahali: si Eleazar at si Cis.
22 Sotheli Eleazar was deed, and hadde not sones, but douytris; and the sones of Cys, the britheren of hem, weddiden hem.
At si Eleazar ay namatay, at hindi nagkaanak ng lalake, kundi mga babae lamang: at nangagasawa sa kanila ang kanilang mga kapatid na mga anak ni Cis.
23 The sones of Musi weren thre, Mooli, and Heder, and Jerymuth.
Ang mga anak ni Musi: si Mahali, at si Eder, at si Jerimoth, tatlo.
24 These weren the sones of Leuy in her kynredis and meynees, prynces bi whilis, and noumbre of alle heedis, that diden the trauel of the seruyce of the hows of the Lord, fro twenti yeer and aboue.
Ang mga ito ang mga anak ni Levi, ayon sa mga sangbahayan ng kanilang mga magulang, sa makatuwid baga'y mga pangulo sa mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang doon sa mga nabilang, sa bilang ng mga pangalan, ayon sa kanilang mga ulo, na nagsigawa ng gawain sa paglilingkod sa bahay ng Panginoon, mula sa dalawangpung taong gulang na patanda.
25 For Dauid seide, The Lord God of Israel hath youe reste to his puple, and a dwellyng in Jerusalem til in to with outen ende;
Sapagka't sinabi ni David, Ang Panginoon, ang Dios ng Israel ay nagbigay ng kapahingahan sa kaniyang bayan; at siya'y tumatahan sa Jerusalem magpakailan man:
26 and it schal not be the office of dekenes for to bere more the tabernacle, and alle vessels therof for to mynystre.
At ang mga Levita naman ay hindi na magkakailangan pang pasanin ang tabernakulo at ang lahat na kasangkapan niyaon sa paglilingkod doon.
27 Also bi the laste comaundementis of Dauid the noumbre of the sones of Leuy schulen be rikened fro twenti yeer and aboue;
Sapagka't ayon sa mga huling salita ni David ay nabilang ang mga anak ni Levi, mula sa dalawangpung taong gulang na patanda.
28 and thei schulen be vndir the hond of the sones of Aaron in to the worschipe of the hows of the Lord, in porchis, and in chaumbris, and in the place of clensyng, and in the seyntuarie, and in alle werkis of the seruyce of the temple of the Lord.
Sapagka't ang kanilang katungkulan ay tumulong sa mga anak ni Aaron sa paglilingkod sa bahay ng Panginoon, sa mga looban, at sa mga silid, at sa paglilinis ng lahat na banal na bagay, sa gawain na paglilingkod sa bahay ng Dios;
29 Forsothe preestis schulen be ouer the looues of proposicioun, and to the sacrifice of flour, and to the pastis sodun in watir, and to the therf looues, and friyng panne, and to hoot flour, and to seenge, and ouer al weiyte and mesure.
Gayon din sa tinapay na handog, at sa mainam na harina na pinakahandog na harina, maging sa mga manipis na tinapay na walang lebadura, at doon sa niluto sa kawali, at doon sa pinirito; at sa lahat na sarisaring takalan at panakal;
30 Forsothe the dekenes schulen be, that thei stonde eerli, for to knowleche and synge to the Lord, and lijk maner at euentide,
At upang tumayo tuwing umaga na pasalamat at pumuri sa Panginoon, at gayon din naman sa hapon;
31 as wel in the offryng of brent sacrifices of the Lord, as in sabatis, and kalendis, and othere solempnytees, bi the noumbre and cerymonyes of eche thing contynueli bifor the Lord;
At upang maghandog ng lahat na handog sa Panginoon na susunugin sa mga sabbath, sa mga bagong buwan, at sa mga takdang kapistahan, sa bilang alinsunod sa utos tungkol sa kanila, na palagi sa harap ng Panginoon:
32 and that thei kepe the obseruaunces of the tabernacle of the boond of pees of the Lord, and the custum of the seyntuarie, and the obseruaunce of the sones of Aaron, her britheren, that thei mynystre in the hows of the Lord.
At sila ang magsisipagingat ng katungkulan sa tabernakulo ng kapisanan, at ng katungkulan sa banal na dako, at ng katungkulan ng mga anak ni Aaron na kanilang mga kapatid, sa paglilingkod sa bahay ng Panginoon.
