1 Chronicles 16
1 Therfor thei brouyten the arke of God, and settiden it in the myddis of the tabernacle, that Dauid hadde araied therto; and thei offriden brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices bifor the Lord.
Peti Perjanjian itu diletakkan di dalam kemah yang telah disediakan oleh Daud untuk Peti itu. Lalu mereka mempersembahkan kepada Allah kurban bakaran dan kurban perdamaian.
2 And whanne Dauid offrynge brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices hadde fillid, he blesside the puple in the name of the Lord;
Setelah Daud selesai mempersembahkan kurban-kurban itu, ia memberkati rakyat atas nama TUHAN,
3 and departide to alle to ech bi hym silf fro a man til to a womman o cake of breed, and a part of rostid fleisch of a bugle, and flour fried in oile.
lalu membagi-bagikan makanan kepada mereka semua. Setiap orang yang ada di situ baik laki-laki maupun wanita mendapat sepotong daging panggang, roti dan kue kismis.
4 And he ordeynede bifor the arke of the Lord, of the Leuytis, that schulden mynystre, and haue mynde of the werkis of the Lord, and glorifie and preyse the Lord God of Israel;
Daud mengangkat beberapa orang Lewi untuk memimpin upacara ibadat kepada TUHAN, Allah Israel, di depan Peti Perjanjian itu, dengan nyanyian dan puji-pujian.
5 `he ordeynede Asaph the prince, and Zacharie his secounde; forsothe `he ordeynede Jahiel, and Semiramoth, and Jahel, and Mathathie, and Eliab, and Banaye, and Obededom, and Jehiel, on the orguns, on the sautrie, and on the harpis; but he ordeynede Asaph to sowne with cymbalis;
Asaf dipilih sebagai pemimpin utama dan Zakharia wakilnya. Yeiel, Semiramot, Yehiel, Matica, Eliab, Benaya, Obed-Edom dan Yeiel ditugaskan untuk memainkan kecapi. Asaf ditugaskan memainkan simbal,
6 sotheli he ordeynede Banaye and Aziel, preestis, bifor the arke of the boond of pees of the Lord, for to trumpe contynueli.
dan dua orang imam, yaitu Benaya dan Yahaziel, ditugaskan untuk secara tetap meniup trompet di depan Peti Perjanjian itu.
7 In that dai Dauid made Asaph prince, and hise britheren, for to knowleche `to the Lord.
Itulah pertama kalinya Daud menugaskan Asaf dan rekan-rekannya untuk menyanyikan puji-pujian kepada TUHAN.
8 Knowleche ye to the Lord, and inwardli clepe ye his name; make ye hise fyndyngis knowun among puplis.
Bersyukurlah kepada TUHAN, wartakanlah kebesaran-Nya, ceritakanlah perbuatan-Nya di antara bangsa-bangsa.
9 Synge ye to hym, and seie ye salm to hym, and telle ye alle his merueylis.
Nyanyikanlah pujian bagi TUHAN, beritakanlah segala karya-Nya yang menakjubkan.
10 Preise ye his hooli name; the herte of men sekynge the Lord be glad.
Dialah TUHAN Yang Mahaesa; bersukacitalah, sebab kita milik-Nya; semua yang menyembah Dia hendaklah bergembira.
11 Seke ye the Lord and his vertu; seke ye euere his face.
Mintalah kekuatan daripada-Nya, sembahlah Dia senantiasa.
12 Haue ye mynde of hise merueilis whiche he dide; of hise signes, and of the domes of his mouth.
Hai keturunan Yakub, hamba Allah! Hai keturunan Israel, umat pilihan-Nya! Ingatlah semua keajaiban yang dilakukan-Nya, jangan melupakan keputusan-keputusan-Nya.
13 The seed of Israel, his seruaunt, preise thou God; the sones of Jacob, his chosun, preise ye God.
14 He is `oure Lord God; hise domes ben in ech lond.
TUHAN adalah Allah kita, keputusan-Nya berlaku di seluruh dunia.
15 Haue ye mynde with outen ende of his couenaunt; of the word whiche he couenauntide `in to a thousynde generaciouns.
Ia selalu ingat akan perjanjian-Nya, janji-Nya berlaku selama-lamanya.
16 Which word he couenauntide with Abraham; and of his ooth to Ysaac.
Perjanjian itu dibuat-Nya dengan Abraham, dan kemudian dengan Ishak,
17 And he ordeynede that to Jacob in to a comaundement; and to Israel in to euerlastynge couenaunt.
lalu dikukuhkan dengan Yakub menjadi perjanjian yang kekal bagi umat Israel.
18 And seide, To thee Y schal yyue the lond of Canaan; the part of youre erytage.
Kata-Nya, "Tanah Kanaan akan Kuberikan kepadamu menjadi milik pusakamu."
19 Whanne thei weren fewe in noumbre; litle, and pilgrims therof.
Dahulu umat TUHAN hidup sebagai orang asing di sana jumlah mereka sedikit saja.
20 And thei passiden fro folk in to the folk; and fro a rewme to another puple.
Mereka mengembara dari bangsa ke bangsa, pindah dari satu negeri ke negeri lainnya.
21 He suffride not ony man falseli chalenge hem; but he blamyde kyngis for hem.
Tetapi TUHAN tidak membiarkan siapa pun menindas mereka; demi mereka, raja-raja diperingatkan-Nya,
22 Nyle ye touche my cristis; and nyle ye do wickidli ayens my prophetis.
"Jangan mengganggu orang-orang pilihan-Ku, jangan berbuat jahat kepada nabi-nabi-Ku."
23 Al erthe, singe ye to the Lord; telle ye fro dai into dai his helthe.
Nyanyilah bagi TUHAN, hai bumi seluruhnya, setiap hari siarkanlah kabar gembira bahwa Ia telah menyelamatkan kita.
24 Telle ye among hethen men his glorie; hise merueylis among alle puplis.
Ceritakan keagungan-Nya kepada bangsa-bangsa, dan perbuatan-perbuatan-Nya yang perkasa kepada umat manusia.
25 For the Lord is greet, and worthi to be preisid ful myche; and he is orible, `ethir griseful, ouer alle goddis.
Sebab besarlah TUHAN dan sangat terpuji; Ia harus ditakuti lebih dari segala dewa.
26 For alle the goddis of puplis ben idols; but the Lord made heuenes.
Dewa-dewa bangsa lain hanya patung berhala tetapi TUHAN adalah pencipta angkasa raya.
27 Knoulechyng and greet doyng ben bifor hym; strengthe and ioy ben in the place of hym.
Ia diliputi keagungan dan kemuliaan, rumah-Nya penuh kuasa dan sukacita.
28 Ye meynees of puplis, `bringe ye to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord glorie and empire.
Pujilah TUHAN, hai umat manusia! Pujilah keagungan dan kekuatan-Nya.
29 Yyue ye glorie to his name, reise ye sacrifice, and come ye in his siyt; and worschipe ye the Lord in hooli fairnesse.
Pujilah nama-Nya yang mulia, dan bawalah kurban ke dalam rumah-Nya. Sembahlah TUHAN dengan mengenakan pakaian ibadat!
30 Al erthe be mouyd fro his face; for he foundide the world vnmouable.
Gemetarlah di hadapan-Nya, hai seluruh dunia! Bumi kukuh tidak tergoyahkan.
31 Heuenes be glad, and the erthe `ioy fulli; and seie thei among naciouns, The Lord schal regne.
Hai langit dan bumi, bergembiralah! Beritakanlah kepada bangsa-bangsa bahwa TUHAN itu Raja!
32 The see thundre, and his fulnesse; the feeldis fulli ioye, and alle thingis that ben in tho.
Bergemuruhlah hai laut dan semua isinya! Bersukacitalah hai padang dan segala tanamannya!
33 Thanne the trees of the forest schulen preyse bifor the Lord; for he cometh to deme the erthe.
Pohon-pohon di hutan akan bersorak-sorai sebab TUHAN telah datang untuk memerintah di bumi.
34 Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good; for his mersi is withouten ende.
Bersyukurlah kepada TUHAN, sebab Ia baik; kasih-Nya kekal abadi.
35 And seie ye, Thou God oure sauyour, saue vs, and gadere vs, and delyuere vs fro hethen men; that we knowleche to thin hooli name, and be fulli glade in thi songis.
Katakanlah, "Ya Allah, Penyelamat kami, selamatkanlah kami dari kekuasaan bangsa-bangsa dan kumpulkanlah kami kembali supaya kami dapat bersyukur dan memuji nama-Mu yang suci!"
36 Blessid be the Lord God of Israel fro with oute bigynnyng and til `in to with outen ende; and al the puple seie, Amen, and seie heriyng to God.
Pujilah TUHAN, Allah Israel, sekarang dan selama-lamanya! Kemudian seluruh umat Israel berkata, "Amin", lalu mereka memuji TUHAN.
37 Therfor Dauid lefte there, bifor the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, Asaph and hise britheren, for to mynystre in the siyt of the arke contynueli bi alle daies and her whilis.
Kemudian Raja Daud menugaskan Asaf dan orang-orang Lewi lainnya untuk tetap mengurus hal-hal yang bersangkutan dengan ibadat di tempat di mana Peti Perjanjian TUHAN disimpan. Setiap hari mereka harus bertugas di situ,
38 Forsothe he ordeynede porteris, Obededom and hise britheren, eiyte and sixti, and Obededom, the sone of Idithum, and Oza.
dibantu oleh Obed-Edom anak Yedutun, serta 68 orang lainnya yang sekaum dengan dia. Obed-Edom dan Hosa adalah pengawal pintu-pintu gerbang.
39 Sotheli `he ordeynede Sadoch preest, and hise britheren, preestis bifor the tabernacle of the Lord, in the hiy place that was in Gabaon,
Tetapi Zadok dan imam-imam lainnya ditugaskan untuk tetap mengurus ibadat di tempat ibadat di Gibeon.
40 for to offre brent sacrifices to the Lord on the auter of brent sacrifice contynueli, in the morwetid and euentid, bi alle thingis that ben writun in the lawe of the Lord, which he comaundide to Israel.
Setiap pagi dan petang mereka harus mempersembahkan kurban bakaran di atas mezbah sesuai dengan hukum-hukum yang diberikan TUHAN kepada orang Israel.
41 And aftir hym Dauyd ordeynede Eman, and Idithum, and other chosene, ech man bi his name, for to knowleche to the Lord; for his mercy is withouten ende.
Imam Zadok dan imam-imam itu dibantu oleh Heman dan Yedutun serta orang-orang lain yang khusus dipilih untuk menyanyikan pujian bagi TUHAN karena kasih-Nya yang kekal abadi.
42 Also he ordeynede Eman, and Idithum, trumpynge, and schakynge cymbalis, and alle orguns of musikis, for to synge to God; forsothe he made the sones of Idithum to be portours, `ether bereris.
Heman dan Yedutun juga bertugas atas trompet, simbal dan alat musik lainnya yang dimainkan untuk mengiringi nyanyian-nyanyian pujian. Anggota-anggota kaum Yedutun ditugaskan untuk menjaga pintu-pintu gerbang.
43 And al the puple turnede ayen in to her hows, and Dauid turnede ayen, to blesse also his hows.
Kemudian pulanglah semua orang ke rumahnya masing-masing. Begitu pula Daud pulang untuk menengok keluarganya.
