1 Chronicles 14
1 And Iram, the kyng of Tyre, sente messageris to Dauid, and `he sente trees of cedre, and werk men of wallis and of trees, that thei schulden bilde to hym an hows.
Unya nagpadala si Haring Hiram sa Tyre ug mga mensahero ngadto kang David, lakip ang mga kahoy nga sedro, mga panday, ug mga mason. Nagtukod sila ug balay alang kaniya.
2 And Dauid knewe that the Lord hadde confermyd hym in to kyng on Israel; and that his rewme was reisid on his puple Israel.
Nahibaloan ni David nga gipili siya ni Yahweh isip hari sa tibuok Israel, ug tungod niana gibayaw ang iyang gingharian alang sa kaayohan sa iyang katawhan sa Israel.
3 And Dauid took othere wyues in Jerusalem, and gendride sones and douytris.
Sa Jerusalem, nangasawa ug daghan si David, ug nahimong amahan sa daghang mga anak nga lalaki ug mga anak nga babaye.
4 And these ben the names of hem that weren borun to hym in Jerusalem; Sammu, and Sobab, Nathan, and Salomon,
Mao kini ang mga ngalan sa iyang mga anak nga natawo sa Jerusalem: si Shamua, si Shobab, si Natan, si Solomon,
5 Jeber, and Elisu, and Heli, and Eliphalech,
si Ibhar, si Elishua, si Elpelet,
6 and Noga, and Napheg, and Japhie,
si Noga, si Nefeg, si Jafia,
7 and Elisama, and Baliada, and Eliphelech.
si Elishama, si Beeliada, ug si Elifelet.
8 Forsothe the Filisteis herden that Dauid was anoyntid `in to kyng on al Israel, and alle stieden to seke Dauid. And whanne Dauid hadde herd this thing, he yede out ayens hem.
Karon sa dihang nahibaloan sa mga Filistihanon nga gidihogan si David ingon nga hari sa tibuok Israel, migawas silang tanan ug gipangita siya. Apan nahibaloan kini ni David ug migawas aron makigbatok kanila.
9 Forsothe Filisteis camen, and weren spred abrood in the valey of Raphaym;
Karon miabot ang mga Filistihanon ug misulong sa Walog sa Refaim.
10 and Dauid counselide the Lord, and seide, Whether Y schal stie to Filisteis? and whether thou schalt bitake hem in to myn hondis? And the Lord seide to hym, Stie thou, and Y schal bitake hem in thin hond.
Unya nangayo ug pakitabang si David ngadto sa Dios. Miingon siya, “Kinahanglan bang sulongon ko ang mga Filistihanon? Ihatag mo ba ang kadaogan batok kanila?” Ug miingon si Yahweh ngadto kaniya, “Sulonga, tungod kay itugyan ko sila diha kanimo.”
11 And whanne thei hadden styed in to Baal Pharasym, Dauid smoot hem there, and seide, God hath departid myn enemyes bi myn hond, as watris ben departid. And therfor the name of that place was clepid Baal Pharasym; and thei leften there her goddis,
Busa miadto sila sa Baal Perazim, ug didto gibuntog niya sila. Unya nagpahayag siya, “Gibanlas ni Yahweh ang akong mga kaaway pinaagi sa akong kamot sama sa haguros nga baha sa tubig.” Busa nahimong Baal Perazim ang ngalan nianang dapita.
12 which Dauid comaundide to be brent.
Gisalikway sa mga Filistihanon ang ilang mga diosdios didto, ug naghatag ug mando si David nga kinahanglan pagasunogon kini.
13 Forsothe another tyme Filisteis felden in, and weren spred abrood in the valei;
Unya gisulong na usab sa mga Filistihanon ang maong walog.
14 and eft Dauid counseilide the Lord, and the Lord seide to hym, Thou schalt not stie aftir hem; go awei fro hem, and thou schalt come ayens hem euen ayens the pere trees.
Busa nangayo pag-usab ug pakitabang si David ngadto sa Dios. Miingon ang Dios ngadto kaniya, “Kinahanglan dili mo sila sulongon sa ilang atubangan, apan paliboti hinuon sila ug adto kanila taliwala sa mga kahoy nga balsamo.
15 And whanne thou schalt here the sowun of a goere in the cop of the pere trees, thanne thou schalt go out to batel; for the Lord is go out byfor thee, to smyte the castels of Filisteis.
Sa dihang madunggan ninyo ang tingog nga nagmartsa pinaagi sa hangin nga mohuyop taliwala sa mga kahoy nga balsamo, unya sulonga dayon sila uban sa puwersa. Buhata kini tungod kay ang Dios ang nag-una kaninyo sa pagsulong sa kasundalohan sa mga Filistihanon.”
16 Therfor Dauid dide as God comaundide to hym, and he smoot the castels of Filisteis fro Gabaon `til to Gazara.
Busa gibuhat ni David kung unsa ang gisugo sa Dios kaniya. Gibuntog niya ang kasundalohan sa Filistihanon gikan sa Gibeon hangtod sa Gezer.
17 And the name of Dauid was puplischid in alle cuntreis, and the Lord yaf his drede on alle folkis.
Unya mikaylap sa tibuok kayutaan ang pagkabantogan ni David, ug gihimo ni Yahweh nga mahadlok kaniya ang tibuok kanasoran.
