हनोख, मेथुसेलाह, लामेख, नोआ.
4 Noe gendride Sem, Cham, and Japhet.
नोआ के पुत्र: शेम, हाम और याफेत.
5 The sones of Japhat weren Gomer, Magog, Magdai, and Jauan, Tubal, Mosoch, and Tiras.
याफेत के पुत्र: गोमर, मागोग, मेदिया, यावन, तूबल, मेशेख तथा तिरास थे.
6 Forsothe the sones of Gomer weren Asceneth, and Riphat, and Thogorma.
गोमर के पुत्र: अश्केनाज, रिफात तथा तोगरमाह थे.
7 Sotheli the sones of Jauan weren Helisa, and Tharsis, Cethym, and Dodanym.
यावन के पुत्र: एलिशाह, तरशीश, कित्तिम तथा दोदानिम थे.
8 The sones of Cham weren Chus, and Mesraym, Phuth, and Chanaan.
हाम के पुत्र: कूश, मिस्र, पूट तथा कनान हुए.
9 Sotheli the sones of Chus weren Saba, and Euila, Sabatha, and Regma, and Sabathaca. Forsothe the sones of Regma weren Saba, and Dadan.
कूश के पुत्र: सेबा, हाविलाह, सबताह, रामाह और सबतेका. रामाह के पुत्र: शीबा और देदान.
10 Sotheli Chus gendride Nemroth; this Nemroth bigan to be myyti in erthe.
कूश उस निमरोद का पिता था जो पृथ्वी पर पहले वीर व्यक्ति के रूप में मशहूर हुआ.

मिस्र के पुत्र: लूदिम, अनामिम, लेहाबिम, नाफतुहि,

शेम के पुत्र: एलाम, अशहूर, अरफाक्साद, लूद तथा अराम थे. अराम के पुत्र: उज़, हूल, गेथर तथा मेशेख थे.

अरफाक्साद शेलाह का पिता था, शेलाह एबर का.

मिशमा, दूमाह, मास्सा, हदद, तेमा,

येतुर, नाफिश और केदेमाह. ये इशमाएल के पुत्र थे.

केतुराह जो अब्राहाम की रखैल थी, उसके पुत्र थे: ज़िमरान, योकशान, मेदान, मिदियान, इशबक और शुआह. योकशान के पुत्र थे, शीबा और देदान.
33 Sotheli the sones of Madian weren Epha, Ethei, and Enoch, and Abdia, and Heldaa. Alle these weren the sones of Cethure.
मिदियान के पुत्र: एफाह, एफ़र, हनोख, अविदा तथा एलदाह थे. ये सब केतुराह से पैदा हुए थे.

अब्राहाम यित्सहाक के पिता थे. यित्सहाक के पुत्र थे: एसाव और इस्राएल.
35 The sones of Esau weren Eliphat, Rahuel, Semyaus, and Elam, and Chore.
एसाव के पुत्र थे: एलिफाज़, रियुएल, योउश, यालम और कोराह.
36 The sones of Eliphath weren Theman, Omer, Sephi, Gethem, Genez, Cenez, Thanna, Amalech.
एलिफाज़ के पुत्र थे: तेमान, ओमर, ज़ेफो, गाताम, केनाज़; तिम्ना और अमालेक.
37 The sones of Rahuel weren Naab, Gazara, Samma, Masa.
रियुएल के पुत्र थे: नाहाथ, ज़ेराह, शम्माह और मिज्जाह.
38 The sones of Seir weren Lothan, Sobal, Sebeon, Ana, Dison, Eser, Disan.
सेईर के पुत्र थे: लोतन, शोबल, ज़िबेओन, अनाह, दिशोन, एज़र और दिशान.
39 The sones of Lothan weren Horry, Huma; sotheli the sistir of Lothan was Thanna.
लोतन के पुत्र: होरी और होमाम. लोतन की बहन का नाम तिम्ना था.

अनाह का पुत्र था दिशोन. दिशोन के पुत्र: हेमदान, एशबान, इथरान और चेरन.
42 The sones of Eser weren Balaam, and Jaban, and Jesan. The sones of Disan weren Hus and Aram.
एज़र के पुत्र: बिलहान, त्सावन और आकन. दिशान के पुत्र: उज़ और अरान.
43 These ben the kyngis that regneden in the lond of Edom, bifor that a kyng was on the sones of Israel. Bale, the sone of Beor; and the name of his citee was Danaba.
इसके पहले कि इस्राएल पर किसी राजा का शासन होता, एदोम देश पर राज्य करनेवाले राजा ये थे: बेओर का पुत्र बेला, उसके द्वारा शासित नगर का नाम था दिनहाबाह.
44 Sotheli Bale was deed; and Jobab, sone of Zare of Basra, regnyde for hym.
बेला के मरने के बाद, उसके स्थान पर बोज़राहवासी ज़ेराह का पुत्र योबाब राजा बना.
45 And whanne Jobab was deed, Husam of the lond of Themayns regnede for hym.
योबाब के मरने के बाद, उसके स्थान पर तेमानियों के देश का व्यक्ति हुशम राजा बना.
46 And Husam diede; and Adad, sone of Badad, that smoot Madian in the lond of Moab, regnyde for hym; and the name of the citee of `hym, that is, of Adad, was Abyud.
हुशम के मरने के बाद, उसके स्थान पर बेदद का पुत्र हदद राजा बना. उसने मोआब देश में मिदियानी सेना को हरा दिया. उसके द्वारा शासित नगर का नाम था आविथ.
47 And whanne Adad was deed, Semela of Maserecha, regnede for hym.
हदद के मरने के बाद, उसके स्थान पर मसरेकाह का सामलाह राजा बना.
48 But also Semela was deed, and Saul of Robooth, which is set bisidis the ryuer, regnyde for hym.
सामलाह के मरने के बाद, फरात नदी पर बसे रेहोबोथ का निवासी शाऊल उनके स्थान पर राजा बना.
49 Also whanne Saul was deed, Balanam, the sone of Achabor, regnyde for him.
शाऊल के मरने के बाद, उसके स्थान पर अखबोर का पुत्र बाल-हनन राजा बना.
50 But also he was deed, and Adad, the name of whos citee was Phou, regnede for hym; and his wijf was clepid Methesael, the douyter of Mathred, douyter of Mezaab.
बाल-हनन मरने के बाद, उसके स्थान पर हदद राजा बना. उस नगर का नाम पाऊ था तथा उसकी पत्नी का नाम मेहेताबेल था. वह मातरेद की पुत्री थी और मातरेद मेत्साहब की पुत्री थी.
51 Forsothe whanne Adad was deed, dukis bigunnen to be in Edom for kyngis; duyk Thanna, duyk Alia, duyk Jetheth,
तब हदद की भी मृत्यु हो गई. एदोम देश के नायकों के नाम ये है: नायक तिम्ना, अलवाह, यथेथ,
52 duyk Olibama, duyk Ela, duyk Phynon,
ओहोलिबामाह, एलाह, पिनोन,
53 duik Ceneth, duyk Theman, duyk Mabsar,
केनाज़, तेमान, मिबज़ार,
54 duyk Magdiel, duyk Iram. These weren the duykis of Edom.
मगदिएल, इराम. ये सभी एदोम देश के प्रधान हुए.
