< Romans 4 >
1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father obtained according to the flesh?
Mbi tulenda tuba mu diambu di Abalahami nkuluꞌeto mu kimutu e?
2 for if Abraham were justified by works, he hath something to boast of; but this he hath not before God:
Enati Abalahami wukitulu wusonga mu diambu di mavanga buna beki diambu di kalenda kiniemisina; vayi bika va meso ma Nzambi.
3 for what saith the scripture? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness."
Bila mambu mbi meti tuba masonoko e? Abalahami wuwilukila Nzambi ayi diawu Nzambi kankitudila wusonga.
4 Now to him that worketh the reward is not reckoned as a favor, but as a debt:
Woso mutu wunsalanga kisalu wumfutungu. Mfutu andi wisi dikaba ko vayi widi mfutu boso buididi kisalu kiandi.
5 but to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.
Vayi kuidi mutu wunkambu salanga ayi wilukila mutu wowo wunkitulanga bankua masumu batu basonga, buna wela tangulu wusonga mu diambu di minu kiandi.
6 As David also describeth the blessedness of the man to whom: God imputeth righteousness without works, saying,
Banga bu tubila Davidi ti khini kuidi mutu wowo Nzambi keta tangila mutu wusonga bika mu mavanga:
7 "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered:
O khini kuidi batu bobo balemvokolo minkanu miawu ayi masumu mawu mafuku!
8 blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth not sin."
O khini kuidi woso mutu Pfumu kankambu tangila masumu.
9 Now is this blessedness upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? for we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness.
A buevi khini beni yidi kaka mu diambu di bazengo nitu yi kibakala voti yidi ayi kuidi bawu bakambulu bazengo e? Bila tueti tubanga ti: Abalahami wukitulu wusonga mu minu.
10 How then was it accounted to him? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
Buna buevi divangimina e? Mu thangu kaba wuzengo voti buna kazengolo ko e? Bika sia ti buna widi wuzengo vayi buna kazengolo ko.
11 And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had in uncircumcision: that he might be the father of all that believe though not circumcised, that righteousness may be imputed to them also:
Wutambula dimbu kinzengolo banga dimbu ki busonga mu diambu di minu kiandi buna kazengolo ko, muingi kaba dise di batu bobo bawilukila kambu nzengolo; muingi mamvawu bakituka batu basonga.
12 and the father of circumcision to those, who not only are of the circumcision, but also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had in uncircumcision.
Ayi muingi kaba dise di bobo bazengo, bika sia ti bila badi bazengo, vayi mu diambu beta landakana kifuani ki minu kioki kiba dise dieto Abalahami buna kazengolo ko.
13 For the promise made to Abraham, or to his seed, that he should be heir of the world, was not by the law, but by the righteousness of faith:
Bila tsila yi tambula nza yimvimba banga kiuka yivanunu kuidi Abalahami ayi kuidi nkunꞌandi bika sia ti mu diambu di Mina vayi mu diambu di busonga bu minu.
14 for if they only that are of the law be heirs, faith is made useless, and the promise is become of no effect.
Bila enati bobo badi ku tsi luyalu lu Mina bela tambula kiuka, buna minu kikitukidi kima kikambulu mfunu ayi buna tsila yimvunzulu.
15 Now the law worketh wrath; for where there is no law, there is no transgression.
Bila Mina mintotulanga nganzi yi Nzambi. Bila vana vakambulu Mina, vasi mbundulu yi masumu ko.
16 And therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace, that so the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but also to that which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
Diawu tsila yivanunu mu diambu di minu muingi yiba dikaba; ayi tsila yiba yikuikama kuidi nkuna woso wu Abalahami. Bika sia ti kuidi bobo kaka bantumukinanga Mina vayi kuidi bobo badi minu kimosi ayi Abalahami, niandi dise di beto boso.
17 (as it is written, "I have made thee a father of many nations,") in the sight of Him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not as if they were:
Banga bu disonimina ti: minu ndibieka dise di makanda mawombo. Niandi dise dieto va meso ma Nzambi yoyi kawilukila; yoyo yimvananga luzingu kuidi bobo bafua ayi wuntelanga bima biobi bikambulu banga ti bidi.
18 who against hope believed, with hope, that he should be the father of many nations, according to that which was said unto him, "So shall thy seed be."
Mu kambu bila kisila diana, vayi wutula diana ayi wuwilukila mu diambu kaba dise di makanda mawombobanga bu nkambila Nzambi ti: buawu bobo buela bela nkunꞌaku.
19 And not being weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, being about an hundred years old; nor the deadness of Sarah's womb.
Kasia ba wulebakana ko mu minu bu kasia bela nitu andi mayindu ko, bila yiba banga yifua; bila buna weka nduka-nduka khama yi mimvu ayi buna Sala kalendi buela buta ko.
20 He hesitated not at the promise of God through unbelief: but was strong in faith, giving glory to God,
Vayi mu diambu di tsila yi Nzambi, kasia memata ko voti kasia kambu minu ko. Vayi wukindusu mu minu bu kavana nkembo kuidi Nzambi
21 and being fully persuaded, that what was promised He was able to perform:
ayi wuzaba kuandi bumboti ti mutu wowo wuvana tsila beki lulendo mu dukisa yawu.
22 and therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Diawu kankitudila wusonga.
23 Now it was not written on his account only, that it was imputed to him:
Vayi kusia sonama mu diambu diandi kaka ko ti niandi kaka wukitulu wusonga
24 but for our sakes also, to him it will be imputed, as we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead:
vayi ayi kuidi beto tuela kitulu basonga, beto tuwilukila mutu wowo wufulukisa Yesu, Pfumu eto, mu bafua,
25 who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
wuyekolo mu diambu di zinzimbala zieto vayi wufulukusu mu diambu di busonga bueto.
