Revelation 5

1 And I saw on the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and without, sealed with seven seals:

பின்பு அரியணையில் அமர்ந்திருப்பவரின் வலதுகையில் ஒரு புத்தகச்சுருள் இருப்பதை நான் கண்டேன். அது இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலும் எழுதப்பட்டு, ஏழு முத்திரைகளால் முத்திரையிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.

2 and I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals of it?

அப்பொழுது ஒரு வல்லமையுள்ள தூதன், “இந்த முத்திரைகளை உடைத்து, புத்தகச்சுருளைத் திறப்பதற்குத் தகுதியுள்ளவன் யார்?” என்று உரத்த குரலில் சொல்லிக்கொள்வதை நான் கண்டேன்.

3 And no one in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look into it:

ஆனால் பரலோகத்திலோ, பூமியிலோ அல்லது பூமியின்கீழோ அந்தப் புத்தகச்சுருளைத் திறப்பதற்கோ, அதன் உள்ளே இருப்பதைப் பார்ப்பதற்கோ ஒருவராலும் இயலவில்லை.

4 and I wept much because no one was found worthy to open and read the book, nor to look into it.

அந்தப் புத்தகச்சுருளைத் திறப்பதற்கோ, அதன் உள்ளே வாசிப்பதற்கோ, தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் எவரும் காணப்படவில்லையே என்று நான் மிகவும் அழுதேன்.

5 And one of the elders said to me, Weep not; ---Behold the lion of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose its seven seals.

அப்பொழுது அந்த சபைத்தலைவர்களில் ஒருவன் என்னிடம், “அழாதே! இதோ பார், யூதா கோத்திரத்தின் சிங்கமும், தாவீதின் வேருமாய் இருக்கிறவர், வெற்றி பெற்றிருக்கிறார். அவர் புத்தகச்சுருளையும், அதன் ஏழு முத்திரைகளையும் திறப்பதற்கு ஜெயம் பெற்றவராய் இருக்கிறார்” என்றான்.

6 And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

பின்பு நான், கொல்லப்பட்ட ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரைக் கண்டேன்; அவர் இப்பொழுது நான்கு உயிரினங்களாலும் அந்த இருபத்து நான்கு சபைத்தலைவர்களாலும் சூழப்பட்டு, அரியணையின் நடுவில் நின்றுகொண்டிருந்தார். அந்த ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருக்கு ஏழு கொம்புகளும் ஏழு கண்களும் இருந்தன. இந்த ஏழு கண்களும் பூமியெங்கும் அனுப்பப்பட்ட இறைவனுடைய ஏழு ஆவிகள்.

7 And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.

ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவர் வந்து, அரியணையில் அமர்ந்திருந்தவருடைய கரத்திலிருந்து அந்தப் புத்தகச்சுருளை எடுத்துக்கொண்டார்.

8 And when He had taken the book, the four animals, and the twenty four elders, fell down before the Lamb, having every one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints.

அவர் அதை எடுத்துக்கொண்டதும் அந்த நான்கு உயிரினங்களும், அந்த இருபத்து நான்கு சபைத்தலைவர்களும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருக்கு முன்பாகக் கீழே விழுந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒரு வீணை வாத்தியத்தை வைத்திருந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் தூபம் நிறைந்த தங்கக் கிண்ணங்களையும் வைத்திருந்தார்கள்; அவை பரிசுத்தவான்களின் மன்றாட்டுகள்.

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

அந்தச் சபைத்தலைவர்கள் ஒரு புதிய பாடலைப் பாடினார்கள்: “நீர் அந்தப் புத்தகத்தை எடுக்கவும், அதன் முத்திரைகளைத் திறக்கவும் தகுதியுள்ளவர். ஏனெனில் நீர் கொல்லப்பட்டீர். உம்முடைய இரத்தத்தினாலே மனிதர்களை ஒவ்வொரு பின்னணியிலிருந்தும், ஒவ்வொரு மொழியைப் பேசுகிறவர்களிலிருந்தும், ஒவ்வொரு நாட்டு மக்களிலிருந்தும், ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியிலிருந்தும் இறைவனுக்கென்று விலைகொடுத்து வாங்கிக்கொண்டீர்.

10 and hast made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

நீர் அவர்களை நமது இறைவனுக்கு ஊழியம் செய்யும்படி, ஒரு அரசாயும் ஆசாரியராயும் ஆக்கியிருக்கிறீர்; அவர்கள் பூமியிலே ஆளுகை செய்வார்கள்.”

11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round the throne and the animals and the elders: and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands;

பின்பு நான் பார்த்தேன், அப்பொழுது அநேக இறைத்தூதர்களின் குரலைக் கேட்டேன்; இறைத்தூதர்களோ, எண்ணிக்கையில் ஆயிரம் ஆயிரமாகவும், பத்தாயிரம் பத்தாயிரமாகவும் இருந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் அந்த அரியணையையும், அந்த உயிரினங்களையும், அந்த சபைத்தலைவர்களையும் சுற்றி நின்றார்கள்.

12 saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.

அவர்கள் உரத்த குரலில்: “கொல்லப்பட்ட ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவர் வல்லமையையும், செல்வத்தையும், ஞானத்தையும், வலிமையையும், கனத்தையும், மகிமையையும், துதியையும் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதற்குத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்!” என்று பாடினார்கள்.

13 And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that are in them, saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb, for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)

பின்பு பரலோகத்திலும், பூமியிலும், பூமியின்கீழும், கடலிலும் உள்ள எல்லா படைப்புயிர்களும் பாடுவதைக் கேட்டேன்: “அரியணையில் அமர்ந்திருக்கிறவருக்கும், ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருக்கும் துதியும், கனமும், மகிமையும், வல்லமையும் (aiōn g165)

14 And the four animals said, Amen: and the twenty four elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth to endless ages.

அந்த நான்கு உயிரினங்களும், “ஆமென்” என்று சொல்ல அந்த சபைத்தலைவர்களும் பணிவுடன் விழுந்து வணங்கினார்கள்.
