Aionian Verses
but I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without cause shall be liable to the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be obnoxious to the council; but whosoever shall say, "Thou fool," shall be in danger of hell-fire. (Geenna )
And therefore if thy right eye cause thee to offend, pluck it out and cast it from thee; for it is better for thee that one part of thee perish, than that thy whole body should be cast into hell: (Geenna )
and if thy right hand cause thee to offend, cut it off and cast it from thee; for it is better for thee that one of thy limbs should perish, than that thy whole body should be cast into hell. (Geenna )
And be not afraid of them, who can only kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him, who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Geenna )
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted even to heaven, shalt be cast down to hell: for if the miracles, which have been wrought in thee, had been wrought in Sodom, it would have remained unto this day. (Hadēs )
and if any one speak against the Son of man, it may be forgiven him: but if any one speak against the holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this life, nor in that to come. (aiōn )
And he that received the seed among the thorns, is one that likewise heareth the word; but the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches choketh the word, and so it becometh unfruitful. (aiōn )
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. (aiōn )
As therefore the tares are gathered together, and burnt in the fire; so shall it be in the end of the world: (aiōn )
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous; (aiōn )
And I also say unto thee, as thou art called Peter, so upon this rock, which thou hast confessed, will I build my church, and the gates of death shall not prevail against it. (Hadēs )
If then thy hand or thy foot cause thee to offend, cut them off and cast them from thee; it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire: (aiōnios )

and seeing a fig-tree by the way, He went up to it, and finding nothing upon it but leaves, He saith to it, Let no fruit ever hereafter grow out of thee: and the fig-tree withered immediately. (aiōn )
Wo unto you scribes and pharisees, hypocrites: for ye compass sea and land to make a proselyte, and when he is gained, ye make him more the child of hell than yourselves. (Geenna )
how can ye escape the damnation of hell? (Geenna )
And when He was got to the mount of olives, the disciples came to Him in private and said, Tell us when these things shall be, and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world. (aiōn )
Then will He say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (aiōnios )
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life everlasting. (aiōnios )
and of the holy Ghost, and teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen. (aiōn )
but whosoever blasphemeth against the holy Ghost never hath forgiveness, but is liable to eternal damnation: (aiōn , aiōnios )
but the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and inordinate desires after other things entering in choke the word, and so it becometh unfruitful. (aiōn )

And if thy foot cause thee to offend, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life lame, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the inextinguishable fire; (Geenna )
And if thine eye cause thee to offend, cast it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell-fire; (Geenna )
And as he went out into the way, there came one running and kneeling to Him, and asked Him, Good master, what shall I do, that I may inherit eternal life? (aiōnios )
or lands for my sake and the gospel's, but he shall receive an hundred-fold: now in this time indeed, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands with persecutions; but in the world to come life everlasting. (aiōn , aiōnios )
Let no one ever eat fruit of thee hereafter. And his disciples heard it. (aiōn )

And they besought Him that He would not command them to go into the abyss: (Abyssos )

And his master commended the dishonest steward as having acted prudently: for the men of this world are as to their affairs wiser than the children of light. (aiōn )
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends with these unrighteous treasures, that when they fail, ye may be received into everlasting habitations. (aiōnios )
And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Hadēs )
And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, Good master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios )
who shall not receive manifold more even in this life, and in the world to come life everlasting. (aiōn , aiōnios )
And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry and are given in marriage. (aiōn )
But they who are counted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: (aiōn )
that whosoever believeth on Him may not perish, but have eternal life. (aiōnios )
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him might not perish, but have everlasting life: (aiōnios )
wherefore he that believeth on the Son, hath eternal life; and he that obeyeth not the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. (aiōnios )
but he that drinketh of the water which I shall give him, shall never thirst: but the water, which I shall give him, will be in him a fountain of water springing up unto eternal life. (aiōn , aiōnios )
And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth the fruit together unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together; (aiōnios )
Verily, verily I say unto you, he, that heareth my word, and believeth in Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come under condemnation; but is passed from death to life. (aiōnios )
Ye search the scriptures; for ye think that in them ye have eternal life: (aiōnios )
Labour not so much for the meat that perisheth, but rather for that food which endureth unto life eternal, which the Son of man will give you: for Him hath God the Father sealed. (aiōnios )
And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one who looketh attentively at the Son, and so believeth on Him, may have eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios )
He hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I declare unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (aiōnios )
I am the living bread, which came down from heaven: if any one eat of this bread, he shall live for ever. And the bread, that I will give, is my flesh, which I will give up for the life of the world. (aiōn )
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios )
This is the bread that came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat, and yet are dead. He that eateth this bread shall live for ever. (aiōn )
Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? (aiōnios )
Now the servant does not continue always in the family: but the Son abideth always. (aiōn )
Verily, verily, I say unto you, If any one keep my word, he shall never see death. (aiōn )
The Jews therefore said unto Him, Now we are sure that thou art possessed by a demon. Abraham is dead, and the prophets too; and thou sayest, If any one keep my word, he shall never taste of death: art thou greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? (aiōn )
From the beginning of the world it was never heard, that any one opened the eyes of a person that was born blind. (aiōn )
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; nor shall any one force them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
And every one that is alive, and believeth in me, shall never die. (aiōn )
So he, that loveth his life, shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, shall preserve it unto life eternal. (aiōnios )
The people answered Him, We have heard out of the law, that the Messiah abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, the Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? (aiōn )
And I know that his commandment is life eternal: the things therefore which I speak, I so speak, as the Father hath directed me. (aiōnios )
Peter saith to Him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I do not wash thee, thou hast no part with me. (aiōn )
and He will give you another comforter to abide with you for ever: (aiōn )
as Thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that as to all which Thou hast given Him, He might give them eternal life; (aiōnios )
and this is life eternal, to know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios )
that Thou wilt not leave my soul in the invisible state, nor suffer thine holy one to see corruption. (Hadēs )
foreseeing this he spake of the resurrection of Christ, when he said, that his soul was not left in the invisible state, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs )
whom heaven must indeed receive till the times of settling all things, of which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets from the beginning. (aiōn )
Then Paul and Barnabas boldly said, It was necessary that the word of God should be first spoken to you; but since ye reject it, and judge not yourselves worthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles: (aiōnios )
And when the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were determined for eternal life believed. (aiōnios )
Now all his works are known unto God from the beginning of the world: (aiōn )
Inasmuch as from the first creation of the world, the invisible things of Him, even his eternal power and Godhead, are, if attended to, clearly seen in his works: (aïdios )
who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature instead of the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
to them, who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, and honor, and immortality, eternal life: (aiōnios )
so grace might reign through righteousness, unto eternal life, by Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
But now being set free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. (aiōnios )
For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
whose are the fathers, and of whom, as to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all God blessed for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
who shall descend into the deep, (that is, to (Abyssos )
For God hath included them all in the charge of disobedience, that He might have mercy upon all. (eleēsē )
For of Him, and through Him, and for Him, are all things. To Him be glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may experience what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. (aiōn )
Now to Him that is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, (conformable to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret in former times, (aiōnios )
but is now manifested, and made known to all nations by the writings of the prophets, according to the appointment of the eternal God, (aiōnios )
for the obedience of faith) to the only wise God be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputant of the age? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? (aiōn )
Yet we speak true wisdom among the perfect: though not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who come to nought. (aiōn )
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, that hidden wisdom which God ordained before the worlds for our glory: (aiōn )
which none of the rulers of this age knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn )
Let no one deceive himself: if any among you seem to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be truly wise. (aiōn )
wherefore if meat make my brother to offend, I will never eat flesh while I breathe, least I make my brother to offend. (aiōn )
Now all these things happened to them as examples: and are written for our admonition, on whom the last ages are come. (aiōn )
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (Hadēs )
among whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, doth not shine unto them: (aiōn )
For our short and light affliction is working out for us an infinite and eternal weight of glory, as we aim not at the things which are visible, but invisible: (aiōnios )
for those, which are visible, are temporary, but the invisible are eternal. (aiōnios )
For we know that if our earthly house, which is but as a tent, were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. (aiōnios )
(as it is written, "He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor, his righteousness continueth for ever." (aiōn )
And the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed for ever, knoweth that I lye not. (aiōn )
who gave himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from the present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father: (aiōn )
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
He then, who soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he, that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (aiōnios )
far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (aiōn )
in which ye formerly walked after the manner of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that still operates in the children of disobedience: (aiōn )
That in the ages to come He might shew the superabundant riches of his grace, in his kindness towards us through Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
and make all men to see the communication of the mystery, which from the ages past hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ; (aiōn )
according to the ancient purpose, which He executed in Christ Jesus our Lord: (aiōn )
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus, throughout all the generations of eternal ages. Amen. (aiōn )
For our conflict is not with flesh and blood only, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the world and of the darkness of this age, against wicked spirits in heavenly places. (aiōn )
Now to our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
even that mystery which was hid from former ages and generations, but is now manifested to his saints: (aiōn )
who shall be punished with everlasting destruction, by the presence of the Lord and by his glorious power: (aiōnios )
And may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, (aiōnios )
But for this end I obtained mercy, that in me a chief sinner Jesus Christ might display his long-suffering, for an example to those who should afterwards believe on Him to eternal life. (aiōnios )
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Maintain the glorious combat of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which thou hast been called, and hast made a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
who alone hath immortality, dwelling in light inaccessible, whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios )
Charge them, that are rich in this world, not to be high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who richly affords us all things for enjoyment: charge them to do good, (aiōn )
who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose, and grace bestowed upon us through Christ Jesus, before the world was, (aiōnios )
Therefore I submit to every thing for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is by Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (aiōnios )
through love of this world, and is gone to Thessalonica; as is Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia: Luke only is with me. (aiōn )
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me to his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory throughout all ages. Amen. (aiōn )
in hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before all ages; (aiōnios )
teaching us that denying ungodliness, and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and righteously, and piously in this present world; (aiōn )

For perhaps he was therefore parted from thee for a season, that thou mightest receive him for ever: (aiōnios )
whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds. (aiōn )
but to the Son, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; the sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of righteousness: (aiōn )
As He saith also in another place, "Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec." (aiōn )
He became the author of eternal salvation to all that obey Him: (aiōnios )
and of faith in God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and laying on of hands, and of the resurrection from the dead, and of eternal judgement: (tho' we will do this also, if God permit: ) (aiōnios )

Whither Jesus our fore-runner is entered for us, being made an high-priest for ever, after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn )
For He testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn )
(for they indeed are become priests without the solemnity of an oath; but He with an oath, by Him who said unto Him, "The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:") (aiōn )
but He, because He abideth for ever, hath a priesthood that passeth not to any other: (aiōn )
For the law appointeth men high-priests, who have infirmity; but the oath, recorded since the law, appointeth the Son to be priest for ever, being fully perfected for it. (aiōn )
nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (aiōnios )
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works, that ye may serve the living God? (aiōnios )
And on this account He is the mediator of a new covenant, that undergoing death for the redemption of transgressions against the first covenant, they that are called might receive the promise of an eternal inheritance. (aiōnios )
(for then He must indeed have suffered often since the foundation of the world) but now once at the conclusion of the ages He hath been made manifest for the abolishing of sin by the sacrifice of himself. (aiōn )
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, for the things which are seen were not made of things which appear. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, to day, and for ever: (aiōn )
Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the everlasting covenant, (aiōnios )
make you perfect in every good work, to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our several parts, defiling the whole body, inflaming the course of nature, and is set on fire by hell. (Geenna )
being regenerated not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth for ever. (aiōn )
but the word of the Lord abideth for ever. And this is the word which is preached to you in the gospel. (aiōn )
If any one speak, let it be as declaring the oracles of God: if any one minister, let it be as from the power which God affordeth him: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
But may the God of all grace, who hath called us to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after ye have suffered a little while, make you perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. (aiōnios )

For so an entrance shall be administered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgement; and if He spared not the old world, (Tartaroō )
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: to Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
(for this Life was manifested, and we saw it; and we testify and declare unto you that eternal Life, which was with the Father, (aiōnios )
And the world passeth away, and the desire of it: but he, that doth the will of God, abideth for ever. (aiōn )
And this is the promise which He hath promised us, even eternal life. (aiōnios )
Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. (aiōnios )
And the testimony is this, that God hath given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios )

for the sake of the truth which dwelleth in us, and will be with us for ever: (aiōn )
and the angels that kept not their primitive state, but left their proper abode, hath He reserved in everlasting chains, under darkness, to the judgement of the great day: (aïdios )
as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them, in like manner with them committing lewdness, and going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of perpetual fire. (aiōnios )
wandering stars, for whom blackness of darkness is reserved for ever. (aiōn )
looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios )
to the only wise God our Saviour be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
and hath made us kings and priests to his God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
I am the first and the last, who live, though I was dead; and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen, and have the keys of hades and of death. (aiōn , Hadēs )
And when the animals give glory and honor and thanks to Him that sitteth on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, (aiōn )
the four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sitteth on the throne, and worship Him that liveth for ever and ever, (aiōn )

Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and strength be ascribed to our God for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
And the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth: and the key of the bottomless pit was given to him. (Abyssos )
And he opened the bottomless pit: and there came up smoke out of the pit as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos )
And they had a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit; whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek tongue Apollyon. (Abyssos )
lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by Him that liveth for ever, who created the heaven and the things therein, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things therein, that there shall be time no longer: (aiōn )
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the abyss, will make war against them, and overcome them, and kill them. (Abyssos )
And the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of the world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Anointed, and He shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn )
And I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel, to preach to those that dwell upon the earth, to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, (aiōnios )
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth for ever and ever: and they have no rest, day and night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (aiōn )
And one of the four living beings gave to the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. (aiōn )
The beast, which thou sawest, was, and is not; but will rise out of the abyss, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth (whose names are not written on the book of life from the foundation of the world) shall wonder, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is to be. (and again they said, Alleluia: ) and her smoke ascendeth for ever and ever. (aiōn )
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who had wrought signs before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Limnē Pyr )
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, who had the key of the bottomless pit, and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos )
and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he might deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years be finished: and then he must be loosed for a little time. (Abyssos )
And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
