Matthew 22
1 And Jesus resuming his discourse spake unto them again in parables,
၁တဖန် ယေရှုသည် ဥပမာကိုဆောင်၍ ပရိသတ်တို့အား မိန့်မြွက်တော်မူသည်ကား၊
2 saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who made a wedding-feast for his son;
၂ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်သည် မိမိသားအဘို့ ထိမ်းမြားမင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲကို စီရင်သောမင်းကြီးနှင့် တူ၏။
3 and sent his servants to call those that were invited to the wedding: and they would not come.
၃ထိုမင်းကြီးသည် ဘိတ်ပြီးသောသူတို့ကို ခေါ်စေခြင်းငှါ လုလင်တီု့ကိုစေလွှတ်သောအခါ ထိုသူတို့သည် မလာဘဲနေကြ၏။
4 Then he sent other servants, saying, Tell them that are invited, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready; come to the wedding.
၄တဖန် အခြားသောလုလင်တို့ကို စေလွှတ်၍ ငါ့ပွဲကို ငါပြင်ဆင်ပြီ။ နွားမှစသော ဆူဖြိုးသော တိရစ္ဆာန် များကို သတ်၍ပြီးပြီ။ အလုံးစုံတို့သည် အသင့်ရှိပြီ။ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲသို့ လာကြပါဟု ဘိတ်ပြီးသောသူတို့အား ပြောကြဟု မှာလိုက်ပြန်၏။
5 But they slighted him, and went away, one to his field and another to his merchandize:
၅သို့သော်လည်း ထိုသူတို့သည် နားမထောင်ဘဲ အချို့တို့သည် မိမိလယ်သို့သွားကြ၏။ အချို့တို့သည် ကုန်သွယ်ရာသို့ သွားကြ၏။
6 and others seized his servants, and shamefully abused them, and slew them.
၆ကြွင်းသောသူတို့သည်လည်း လုလင်တို့ကိုဘမ်းဆီး၍ ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်း၊ အသေသတ်ခြင်းကို ပြုကြ၏။
7 And when the king heard of it, he was highly provoked, and sent his troops, and destroyed those murderers, and burnt their city.
၇ထိုမင်းကြီးသည်ကြားလျှင် အမျက်ထွက်၍ စစ်ချီစေသဖြင့်၊ လူအသက်ကိုသတ်သော ထိုသူတို့ကို အပြီးလုပ်ကြံ၍ သူတို့၏မြို့ကို မီးရှို့လေ၏။
8 Then saith he to his servants, The feast is ready, but they that were invited were not worthy of it:
၈ထိုနောက်မှ မင်းကြီးသည်လုလင်တို့ကိုခေါ်၍ ငါ၏မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲသည် အသင့်ရှိ၏။ ခေါ်ဘိတ် သောသူတို့သည် မထိုက်မတန်သောကြောင့်၊
9 go therefore into the public streets, and as many as ye meet with invite to the wedding.
၉လမ်းမလမ်းကြားသို့သွား၍ တွေ့သမျှသောသူတို့ကို ပွဲသို့ခေါ်ဘိတ်ကြဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊
10 And those servants went out into the high-ways, and brought in all they met with, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.
၁၀လုလင်တို့သည် လမ်းများသို့ထွက်သွား၍ ကောင်းမကောင်းတွေ့သမျှသော လူအပေါင်းတို့ကို စုဝေး စေ၍ ပွဲတော်၌အပြည့်ရှိလေ၏။
11 But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man that had not put on a wedding-garment, and saith to him,
၁၁မင်းကြီးသည် ပွဲ၌ လျောင်းသောသူတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုခြင်းငှါ ဝင်တော်မူသောအခါ၊ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲ၏ အဝတ်ကိုမဝတ်သောသူတယောက်ကိုမြင်လျှင်၊
12 Friend, how camest thou in here without a wedding-garment? and he was struck speechless.
၁၂အဆွေ၊ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲ၏ အဝတ်မရှိဘဲ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဝင်သနည်းဟု မေးတော်မူသည်ကို ထိုသူ သည် မပြောနိုင်ဘဲနေ၏။
13 Then said the king to his attendants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him up, and throw him out into the darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of the teeth:
၁၃ထိုအခါ မင်းကြီးသည် အခြံအရံတို့အား ထိုသူ၏လက်ခြေကိုတုပ်နှောင်လော့။ ငိုကြွေးခြင်း အံသွားခဲ ကြိတ်ခြင်းရှိရာ၊ ပြင်အရပ် မှောင်မိုက်ထဲသို့ ယူသွားချလိုက်ကြဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။
14 for there are many called, but few approved.
၁၄ထိုသို့ ခေါ်တော်မူသောသူ အများရှိသော်လည်း၊ ရွေးကောက်တော်မူသော သူနည်းသည်ဟု မိန့်တော် မူ၏။
15 Then the pharisees went and consulted how they might insnare Him in his discourse.
၁၅ထိုအခါ ဖာရိရှဲတို့သည် ထွက်သွားပြီးလျှင်၊ ငါတို့သည်သူ၏စကားကို ချောင်းမြောင်း၍ အပြစ်ပြုခွင့်ကို အဘယ်သို့ရနိုင်သနည်းဟု မေးမြန်းတိုင်ပင်ပြီးမှ၊
16 And they send to Him their disciples along with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art a man of truth, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest for any man; for thou regardest not the person of men: Tell us therefore what thou thinkest,
၁၆မိမိတပည့်တို့နှင့် ဟေရုဒ်တပည့်တို့ကို အထံတော်သို့စေလွှတ်၍ အရှင်ဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် သစ္စာ ရှိပါ၏။ အဘယ်သူကိုမျှမကြောက်၊ လူမျက်နှာကိုမထောက်ဘဲ ဘုရားသခင်၏တရားလမ်းကို ဟုတ်မှန်စွာ ပြတော်မူသည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ သိကြပါ၏။
17 Is it lawful to give tribute to Cesar, or not?
၁၇သို့ဖြစ်၍ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အဘယ်သို့ထင်တော်မူသနည်း။ ကဲသာဘုရင်အားအခွန်ကို ဆက်အပ်သ လော။ မဆက်အပ်သလော အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အား မိန့်တော်မူပါဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။
18 But Jesus knew their malice, and said, Why do ye tempt me, ye hypocrites?
၁၈ယေရှုသည် ထိုသူတို့၏ဆိုးညစ်သောသဘောကို သိတော်မူလျှင်၊ လျှို့ဝှက်သောသူတို့၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ငါ့ကို စုံစမ်းနှောင့်ရှက်ကြသနည်း။
19 Shew me the tribute-money. And they brought Him a Roman Penny.
၁၉အခွန်ငွေတပြားကိုပြပါဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၍၊ ဒေနာရိတပြားကို ယူခဲ့ကြ၏။
20 And He saith unto them, Whose image and inscription is this?
၂၀ဤပုံ ဤလိပ်စာကား၊ အဘယ်သူ၏ပုံ အဘယ်သူ၏လိပ်စာဖြစ်သနည်းဟု မေးတော်မူလျှင်၊
21 They answered, Cesar's. Then saith He unto them, Render therefore to Cesar the things that are Cesar's; and to God the things that are God's.
၂၁ကဲသာဘုရင်၏ပုံ၊ လိပ်စာဖြစ်ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်ကြသော်၊ ယေရှုကလည်း၊ ကဲသာဘုရင်၏ဥစ္စာကို ကဲသာဘုရင်အား ဆက်ပေးကြလော့။ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဥစ္စာကိုကား ဘုရားသခင်အားဆက်ပေးကြလော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
22 And when they heard this, they marvelled, and left Him and went away.
၂၂ထိုသူတို့သည် ကြားရလျှင်အံ့ဩ၍ အထံတော်မှ ထွက်သွားကြ၏။
23 On the same day came the sadducees to Him, who say there is no resurrection,
၂၃ထမြောက်ရှင်ပြန်ခြင်းမရှိဟူ၍ အယူရှိသော ဇဒ္ဒုကဲတို့သည် ထိုနေ့၌ အထံတော်သို့ချဉ်းကပ်၍၊
24 and asked Him, saying, Master, Moses said, If any man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up seed unto his brother.
၂၄အရှင်ဘုရား၊ လူမည်သည်ကား သားမရှိဘဲသေလျှင်၊ သူ၏မယားကို သူ့ညီသိမ်းယူ၍ အစ်ကိုအမျိုး မပြတ်ဆက်နွယ်စေဟု မောရှေစီရင်ပါပြီ။
25 Now there were with us seven brothers, and the first married and died, and having no issue left his wife to his brother;
၂၅အကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် ညီအစ်ကိုခုနစ်ယောက်ရှိပါ၏။ အစ်ကိုအကြီးသည် မိန်းမနှင့်စုံဘက်၍ သားမရှိဘဲ သေသဖြင့် မိမိမယားကို မိမိညီနှင့် ကျန်ရစ်စေ၏။
26 likewise the second also, and the third, even to seven;
၂၆ထိုအတူ တယောက်နောက်တယောက် ခုနစ်ယောက်သောညီအစ်ကိုတို့သည် ထိုမိန်းမနှင့် စုံဘက်ပြီးမှ သေကြ၏။
27 and last of all the woman died also;
၂၇နောက်ဆုံး၌ မိန်းမသည်လည်း သေလေ၏။
28 therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
၂၈သို့ဖြစ်၍ ထမြောက်ရာကာလ၌ ထိုမိန်းမသည် ခုနစ်ယောက်သောညီအစ်ကိုတို့တွင် အဘယ်သူ၏ မယားဖြစ်ရပါမည်နည်း။ ထိုသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ထိုမိန်းမနှင့် စုံဘက်ခြင်းကို ပြုကြပြီဟု မေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။
29 But Jesus answered them, Ye are mistaken, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God:
၂၉ယေရှုကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည် ကျမ်းစာကိုနားမလည်၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏တန်ခိုးတော်ကို မသိသော ကြောင့် မှားသောအယူကိုယူကြ၏။
30 for in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels of God in heaven.
၃၀ထမြောက်ရာကာလ၌ စုံဘက်ခြင်းကို မပြု၊ ထိမ်းမြားပေးစားခြင်းကို မပြု။
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read what is spoken to you by God,
၃၁ကောင်းကင်သားဘုရားသခင်၏ တမန်တော်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
32 saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
၃၂ထိုမှတပါး သေလွန်သောသူတို့သည် ထမြောက်ခြင်းအရာမှာ၊ ဘုရားသခင်က၊ ငါသည် အာဗြဟံ၏ ဘုရား၊ ဣဇာက်၏ဘုရား၊ ယာကုပ်၏ဘုရားဖြစ်သည်ဟု သင်တို့အား မိန့်မြွက်တော်မူကြောင်းကို သင်တို့သည် မဘတ်ဘူးသလော။ ဘုရားသခင်သည် သေနေသောသူတို့၏ ဘုရားမဟုတ်၊ အသက်ရှင်သောသူတို့၏ ဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
33 And when the people heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
၃၃ပရိသတ်များတို့သည် ကြားရလျှင် ဆုံးမဩဝါဒ ပေးတော်မူသည်ကို အံ့ဩခြင်းရှိကြ၏။
34 But when the pharisees heard that He had silenced the sadducees,
၃၄ဇဒ္ဒုကဲတို့၏ စကားကို ချေတော်မူကြောင်းကို ဖာရိရှဲတို့သည်ကြားလျှင် စုဝေးကြ၍၊
35 they gathered together again, and one of them, an interpreter of the law, propounded a question, to try Him,
၃၅သူတို့အဝင်အပါဖြစ်သော ကျမ်းတတ်တယောက်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို စုံစမ်းနှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းငှါ၊
36 and said, Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law?
၃၆အရှင်ဘုရား၊ ပညတ္တိကျမ်း၌ အဘယ်မည်သော ပညတ်သည်သာ၍ ကြီးသနည်းဟု မေးလျှောက်သော်၊
37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind: this is the first and great command.
၃၇ယေရှုက၊ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို စိတ်နှလုံးအကြွင်းမဲ့ဉာဏ်ရှိသမျှနှင့် ချစ်လော့၊
38 And the second is like it,
၃၈ဟူသော ပညတ်သည် ပဌမပညတ်ဖြစ်၏။ ကြီးမြတ်သော ပညတ်လည်းဖြစ်၏။
39 Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
၃၉ထိုမှတပါး ကိုယ်နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်သောသူကို ကိုယ်နှင့်အမျှ ချစ်လော့ဟူသော ဒုတိယကပညတ်သည် ပဌမ ပညတ်နှင့် သဘောတူ၏။
40 On these two precepts depend all the law and the prophets.
၄၀ဤပညတ်နှစ်ပါးတို့ကား ပညတ္တိကျမ်းနှင့် အနာဂတ္တိကျမ်း ရှိသမျှတို့၏ အချုပ်အခြာပင်ဖြစ်သတည်းဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
41 Now while the pharisees were thus gathered together, Jesus asked them,
၄၁ဖာရိရှဲတို့သည် စုဝေး၍နေကြစဉ်တွင် ယေရှုက၊ သင်တို့သည် ခရစ်တော်ကို အဘယ်သို့ထင်မှတ်ကြ သနည်း။
42 saying, What think ye of the Messiah? whose son is He? They say unto Him, David's.
၄၂အဘယ်သူ၏ သားဖြစ်သနည်းဟု မေးတော်မူလျှင်၊ ဒါဝိဒ်၏သားဖြစ်သည်ဟု လျှောက်ကြသော်၊
43 He saith unto them, How then does David by inspiration call Him Lord,
၄၃သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ခရစ်တော်ကို သခင်ဟူ၍ ဝိညာဉ်တော်အားဖြင့် အဘယ်ကြောင့်ခေါ် သနည်း။
44 saying, The Lord said unto my Lord, "Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?"
၄၄ဒါဝိဒ်၏စကားမှာ ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သင်၏ ရန်သူတို့ကို သင်၏ခြေတင်ရာ ငါမချမထားမှီတိုင်အောင် ငါ့လက်ျာဘက်၌ ထိုင်နေလော့ဟု ငါ၏သခင်အား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ဟု ဒါဝိဒ်ဆိုသတည်း။
45 therefore if David call Him Lord, how is He his son?
၄၅ထိုသို့ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ခရစ်တော်ကိုသခင်ဟူ၍ ခေါ်လျှင်၊ အဘယ်သို့ သူ၏သားဖြစ်သနည်းဟု မေးတော် မူသည်ရှိသော်၊
46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor did any dare, from that day, to ask Him any more such questions.
၄၆အဘယ်သူမျှ စကားတခွန်းကိုပြန်လျှောက်ခြင်းငှါ မတတ်နိုင်ကြ။ ထိုနေ့မှစ၍ နောက်တဖန် အဘယ် သူမျှ မမေးမလျှောက်ဝံ့ကြ။
